I am so not the person to give fast and accurate run-downs of celebrity q&as. I think taking notes would be the only way to relay what was said and, tbh, that would stress me out. I’m already a bit stressed at cons (even though they’re fun and worth it!).
But, I will say my favorite things from Christopher Eccleston’s q&a were:
Talking about how the way to deal with depression and anxiety is to remove the shame and start talking about it. That when he started talking about it he discovered so many people in his life had looked him in the face every day and had no idea how he was struggling. And it was hard to talk about it because the culture he lives in says not to, but that was the only way to start working through it.
That his son heard a fan say that his dad was “their doctor” and then asked him if that meant he made people feel better (the warm fuzzy feeling in the whole room was phenomenal, guys).
His absolute adoration (fanboying!) over Anthony Hopkins. I think he talked about him half a dozen times over the course of the q&a.
He was asked what kind of car he liked best while filming Gone in 60 seconds and related the story of an American reporter who asked him the same thing. When Eccleston told him that he didn’t actually drive the reporter nearly left the interview. “It was like I farted.”
A wee little boy asked him how he managed to fall down so well when driving the TARDIS and he said that that was his absolute favorite question he’d ever been asked because when he was young he admired the way Sean Connery as James Bond would fall over and, really, he was trying to be Sean Connery. So the compliment was huge (and so was his smile).
He was asked if he could go back and refilm his episodes of Doctor Who, would he? And he said he absolutely would because he’s hugely self-critical. That he would’ve made his Doctor less slap-stick funny. The whole room rioted at the idea. “Oookay, I wouldn’t change a thing!”

Pics I took at Galaxycon Louisville 2019! Everyone here was super lovely and it was nice meeting you all and getting a chance to talk to you all!
I had three more pics from here but I took them with my tiny ipod which messed up the quality and made them super blurry. :” ) They looked awesome on screen but when I pulled them up on the computer it was a mess. I’m so sorry :” ) WEH.

Me cosplaying as Judge Doom (Who Framed Roger Rabbit) from "Days of the Dead Indianapolis 2019”. I'm currently using my DIP barrel as a Halloween decoration inside my house, made extra spooky with a fog machine inside. I'm looking forward to bringing the Judge out again soon, most likely for Louisville Galaxy Con in November. . . . . . . . #cosplay #cosplaying #cosplayer #cosplayersofinstagram #judgedoom #judgedoomcosplay #rogerrabbit #whoframedrogerrabbit #rogerrabbitcosplay #ohmygoditsdip #toonshoe #galaxycon #comiccon https://www.instagram.com/p/B4Co9qMgnfW/?igshid=1ini680davh1r

Galaxy Con's (2019) Review
Galaxy Con is a part of many conventions that go by the same name in different locations. GalaxyCon came in the convention status by officially taking over the trademark of SuperCons and renaming it GalaxyCon. They also have other conventions of GalaxyCon Raleigh, Louisville, Richmond, and Minneapolis. The name was replaced in all of them except Florida Supercon which kept the SuperCon trademark. The one that I did was Richmond's location of GalaxyCon. The event already occurred during three days from May 31th, 2019, to June 2nd, 2019. According to the website, "GalaxyCon is More Than a Comic Con. It’s 3 Days of Fun with Celebrity and Creative Guests from Comics, Movies, TV, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Anime, Cartoons, Video Games, Wrestling and more!" This is what I like to call a convention of many fandoms where fans come together and geek out on multiple interests. It is was very fun not just for the many fandoms but its atmosphere of welcoming all to join in the excitement. Let's not forget, all of the activities and panels were spot on. I got to experience a Power Rangers Q&A, CJ Graham Q&A, Name That OST, Conversation Menu, and Geek Goodness Burlesque. Q&As were the result of my volunteering and filming for future conventions as promotions. CJ Graham played Jason in the Friday the 13th franchise in the sixth movie. When he puts on that hockey mask in a photo shoot, he gets into character and either scares unexpected attendees or bewilders those in awe at his amazing acting skills. Name That OST (Original Sound Track) might not have been really fun for me, but it was really fun for my friend. He got coined the nickname "Celestial Being" for his shirt and correctly answered trivia three or four times especially for his favorite OST answer for Gundam. I liked Conversation Menu for it allowed complete strangers to pull questions from the menu and established a more personal approach getting to know a person. Man, the Geek Goodness Burlesque was something else, it had performers in various cosplay outfits on stage dancing, and I even heard the classic intro from Cowboy Bebop. Hands down, the best moment of the entire convention was getting my picture taken in the Pikachu Volkswagen Bug on the vendor floor. If you like a festival of many fandoms, cosplay wrestling, or have an exciting time with friends, then GalaxyCon is the convention for you. Shoot, if I had the chance to go again, I would do so immediately because this convention is one to remember. By the way, quoted from CJ Graham, "MC Anime is going to the top."

I was mentioning to my supervisor this morning that I asked off next month for Galaxycon and she was like "oh I've already made the schedule for next month... I already gave you those days off."
O.O What a crazy, happy circumstance!
It might damn near kill me, but it looks like I'm driving back and forth to Louisville both days. I can't pass up Catherine Tate or Christopher Eccleston!

Catherine Tate had to cancel Galaxycon due to filming conflicts.
On the one hand, I'm deeply disappointed. She's my big bucket list person right now. Has been since Awesomecon 2017.
On the other hand, that completely eliminates needing to drive to Kentucky that Friday and I can just focus on going on Saturday to see Eccleston. I've been stressing about trying to get the two days off that close to Thanksgiving.
#i mean if I get both days off I could still go#i have the ticket#but it's optional#I'm sure there will be another opportunity to meet her#joi rambles#catherine tate#louisville galaxycon 2019#louisville galaxycon

So... Get in, get the photo, go home didn't happen. lol I stayed for Eccleston's q&a and then scooted over to the Deep Space q&a that started 15 minutes before Eccleston's ended.
And then I realized I've not had an actual food since yesterday this time so I should fix that o.O. Except it's Saturday at lunch time so the lines rival the autograph lines.
"But Joi, just stop somewhere on the way home..." I hear you say. Guys, when I'm in the car that's it. There will be no stopping.
So I'm living out the rest of my natural life in this pizza line. It was nice knowing you y'all.
