—---
In the kitchen, Joel listens to the coffee maker and checks the time. Leaning back against the counter, he opens his New York Times Games app. He’s contemplating what to start with in WORDLE. “CUTIE,” he types.
A snapchat notification from you pops up, making him giddy. He adjusts his glasses, and his thumb hovers over the notification. If it’s erotic, he’d prefer to save it for a more private moment, but not now. He’s been waiting for you to wake up, and he’d rather see you first. The inner battle furrows his brow, then he watches himself tap the notification. His face relaxes at the sight of you, and his cheeks warm with affection. The shot is pretty innocent, but there’s a look in your eye just for him. And your lips are parted. Ugh, your perfect mouth.
“Merry xmas eve,” it says. 36 hours since he last touched you.
A shadow moves on the stairs, and he looks up from his phone to see you watching him, biting your lip with a little smile. You clasp your fingers behind yourself and stretch, then finish descending the steps.
“Mornin’, sweetheart,” his hoarse voice greets you, then he clears his throat. He saves your picture to the chat, then slips his phone into the pocket of his gray sweats. He runs a hand through his hair, then braces his hands on the counter behind himself, leaning back as casually as he can, letting you know you’re in control.
You take your time approaching, and his eyes lock with yours when you’re close enough for him to smell your shampoo. He takes a deep breath through his nose. You lift your arms to waist height as you close the gap between your bodies. You wrap your arms around his strong middle, and he exhales as warmth radiates from your chest. Your body presses gently into his. Warmth. Comfort. You’re made of joy.
He hugs you loosely, and you rest your head on him. His chest vibrates with a low, satisfied, “Mm.” He presses the lightest kiss onto the crown of your head.
“Mm,” you echo.
His thumb brushes the nape of your neck, and his other hand rests lower on your back, fingers spread, rubbing a slow aimless pattern. You smell just as warm and cozy as you feel. Your hips push forward, making him flinch, but . Warmth rushes to his crotch, and you don’t pull away when it moves against you. He swallows, trying not to push back on you.
“It’s ok,” you whisper. As he relaxes, his bulge nudges you, and there’s no mistaking his desire.
“Sorry,” he whispers,
“Don’t be,” you reply.
God damn, you’re making this hard.
The doorbell rings. “Prolly a delivery,” Joel mutters, and his thumb brushes behind your ear. He savors every moment with you.
A few seconds later, there’s a bunch of rustling around outside the front door.
“Alright,” Joel grumbles.
“Lotta packages out hea,” a Boston accent is heard through the door. Oh, great. It’s your neighbor down the street. The newly single one.
You start to pull away. Joel’s chest begins to cave in, but the feeling is quickly muffled by irritation. “The fuck is he doin’ here?” Joel grumbles to himself, then accuses you, “That why you’re down here?” With every muscle in his body tensing, he scratches the back of his neck.
Your head tilts in disapproval. “Would you keep it together? Please?”
“Yeah,” he agrees.
“You sure? You good?” you ask.
He takes a deep breath, closes his eyes, and nods.
“You’re doing good,” you reassure him, placing a hand on his chest.
The doorbell rings again, and Joel’s nose twitches. “Get outta here,” he nods toward the stairs. “Now.”
“Chill, I’m going.”
He waits for you to get all the way upstairs before answering the door.
—
There’s Harold, crouched over, picking up one last package, trying not to spill his iced coffee in the process. He stands up straight and smiles with his bottom teeth, proud that he hasn’t dropped anything. His navy, quarter-zip sweater is a little tight for his arms. “Happy holidays,” he says.
Joel has one hand on the frame, and one holding the side of the door. His body blocks the entry.
They look at each other for a moment. Harold’s tired eyes fall on Joel’s gray sweatpants, tighter than they were ten minutes ago. With a friendly wink in his voice, he asks, “Catch ya at a bad time?”
“Yeah,” Joel responds flatly.
When Harold doesn’t leave, Joel bites the bullet and accepts the packages.
“They were all out here,” Harold mutters as Joel takes them one by one.
It would’ve been easier for Joel to bring them in himself rather than indulge this ridiculous balancing act. Joel rolls his eyes as he puts the packages down on the floor inside. As he stands up, he glances around and sees no sign of you. Good. He turns toward Harold and grips the side of the door again, ready to close it.
Harold is standing there with a dumb smile and asks, “How ya doin’, man?”
“Not bad,” Joel forces, silently willing the neighbor to leave already.
“Good, good,” Harold mutters to himself. “Me too,” he offers without Joel asking. “Well, ya know,” he adds with a defeated shrug. “All things considered.” Right, his divorce.
“Daughtah home?” Harold asks.
As soon as Joel translates it to daughter, his nostrils flare. His blood pressure shoots up. His vision blurs, and his glasses do nothing. He’d like to kill this man. He takes a deep, calming breath and sizes him up in silence. Has he always been that tall? “Just ran into ya wife,” Harold gestures down the street with his thumb, bicep straining his sweater. “She said your daughter might wanna come to the–”
“No,” Joel interrupts him.
“New year’s party,” Harold mumbles.
Joel unclenches his jaw long enough to say, “Kinda in the middle’a somethin’.”
“Told ya wife I’d invite her,” Harold explains. “Only take a sec.”
“She’s not dressed,” Joel blurts out. He stops short of clarifying that he’s not your father, either. He wants to be everything. He has to be every man you could ever need, and he cares less and less about who knows it.
“Heh,” a faint blush rises to Harold’s face with a flash of his eyebrows. He rocks his plastic cup, making the half-melted ice jumble around.
“bye, Harold,” Joel closes the door in his face, then watches through the window as this asshole walks down the driveway and raises his cup to a passing car.
-
Joel steps back and cracks his neck in an unsuccessful attempt to release some tension, but it’s only getting worse. His whole body is wound up and ready to fight.
He can't let you see him like this. He’s supposed to be keeping it together.
He goes back to the kitchen and steadies his hand to pour half a cup of coffee. He holds the cup, watching the bubbles disappear.
The bath turns on upstairs, and Joel groans inwardly at the \ urge to charge up the stairs and ravish you. He has a vision of you sitting on the side of the tub, nude. You reach back and dangle your fingers into the water to test the temperature. Every muscle in his body wants to bust through that door and take you.
Another fantasy he’d never have the balls to act on. Right?
He puts down his coffee and takes off his glasses, resting them face-up on the kitchen island. He eyes the stairs, then shakes his head at himself. His hands brace on the edge of the island and he straightens his arms, triceps stretching his white tee. Leaning forward, he hangs his head and closes his eyes, calming himself. He stands there and breathes for a minute.
“Keep it together,” he whispers, but he can hardly hear himself over his inner caveman.
Kill.
Breed.
Kill.
“Fuck,” he curses.
—-------
The water is loud enough that you don’t hear Joel’s heavy steps thudding up the stairs. When the door bursts open, you jump. Your eyes widen as Joel shuts the door behind himself. He doesn’t look at you yet, despite your nakedness. He braces one hand on the middle of the door and the other rests lightly on his hip. He looks down, still trying to conjure restraint.
All you can say is, “Joel?”
His muscular back flexes rhythmically under his slutty white tee as he catches his breath. After a few seconds, his head turns enough to look back at you. His eyes are dark.
“Tell me to leave,” he commands, with his voice deep and breathy.
Your lips part, but you say nothing. You scan his body, lingering on his pumped up muscles.
He takes his hand off the door and turns to face you head on. His fingers twitch at his sides as his dark gaze roves your body. His head tilts forward, casting a shadow over his eyes as he looks at your face again. “Tell me to leave, honey.” When you don’t show any sign of answering, he steps toward the bathtub, chest heaving. His brows knit and he slightly shakes his head.
You sit there captivated by his energy. The drum in your neck beats harder as he gets closer. Your chest bubbles with excitement.
He looms over you, and you’re lifting your head up to look at him when his large hand seizes your arm and he pulls you to your feet. He wraps his other arm around you from behind and grabs between your legs. Grunting under the roar of the water, he manhandles you toward the double vanity.
He gropes your breasts, still holding you by the pussy. He abruptly pulls you tighter against him and the hard bulge in his sweatpants makes you throb.
After releasing your breasts, but not your pussy, he grabs your jaw and makes you look at him in the mirror.
“Last chance, sweetheart,” he murmurs in your ear.
You answer, “Do it or leave.”
He releases your jaw. “Uggh,” he groans in painful desire. Emboldened by your encouragement, he slowly slides his flattened fingers along your slit, finding you wet. “This is mine.” his stiffening cock nudges you through his sweatpants. When you don’t reply, his voice gets firmer. “Say it.”
“It’s yours. I’m yours.”
“Yeah,” he nods.
He bends you over the counterspace between your sinks. A sweep of your forearm sends an unplugged hair dryer, a bottle of lotion, and God knows what else into the sink you barely use.
Meanwhile, Joel has pulled down his sweats. He holds his hard cock, and his rocks onto the balls of his feet and back. He places a hand on your lower back. You tilt your hips as he lines himself up. His tip nudges into the right spot, pushing at your dripping hole. Then he grabs your hips and shoves into you with a sigh. You grunt at the sweet burn of his sudden intrusion.
“Yeah,” he breathes. “gotta take it.”
He only waits a second before withdrawing all but the tip, then slamming into you harder. He withdraws again. A bruising grip on your hips pulls you back as he slides into you, easier.
The grip of his hands eases up as he buries his cock in you faster. He opts to hold you down. With your breasts smashed against the marble, he grunts as he fucks it all out on you. Your insides bloom with arousal, gripping his cock, pulling at him for more, deeper. Your heart tingles with exhilaration.
His soft affection is a memory. A wild passion possesses him instead, evident with each thrust and grunt. This primal need has him desperate to own you from the inside out.
“Ughh,” he groans, snapping his hips.
You twitch and moan, muffled by the loud water.
He grunts at the sound and fucks you harder.
He needs to pour all of him in there. You have to be his.
He slows down only to wrap a hand around your hair. His firm grip makes your scalp tingle. “Look at me,” he pants. As he begins to lift his fist, you push yourself up on your forearm and look up at the mirror with your breath fogging it. He drops your hair and pulls your upper body closer to his so you can see.
You brace hands on the counter and marvel at this spellbound wreck of yourself. Your movements aren’t your own. You’re controlled only by the rhythm of his cock and his hands. They make you feel small.
“Me,” he commands, and your eyes snap to him.
It’s the face of a man possessed. His eyes are wild and demanding. He grits his teeth. His neck vein bulges. His hair bounces with each unforgiving thrust. His hips move with a purpose - deeper. More. More of you. His. Fuck.
It’s the first time you've met his wild man. You've seen glimpses in the way he lashes out in jealousy. And his intensity has always been evident. But you didn't imagine a whole feral form of him. The way his veins bulge, the power of his body. You never fully noticed the build of his chest or how a v muscle cuts through his tanline. This has all been there, all along. Every time he’s snapped at you, it's been this guy.
“fuck, Joel,” you breathe.
His mouth falls open with a silent moan. About to cum, he grabs your electric toothbrush and races to turn it on. He presses the smooth barrel of your toothbrush against you, with the bottom nearly touching his cock. Your lips part, and your eyelids fall.
He bottoms out hard, and his shaft twitches against your snug insides as you’re vibrated from the outside. He twitches bigger, harder, and sighs with relief as his seed spills into you. A moment later, another burst, and the warmth spreads in your depths.
He turns the vibration up. “Give it to me,” he demands. “C’mon, baby. It’s mine.” He holds you tight with another deep thrust.
A massive throb of his cock sends you over the edge and releases another long rope. The climax seizes you, making you arch your back, grinding against the vibration. “I got ya,” he breathes, then moans with another shot of cum. Your nipples peak. A second later, your spasming pussy squeezes another burst out of him.
There’s more, and more, until warmth is trickling down your inner thigh and his arms are relaxing around you as you finish. When your body relaxes, he turns off the toothbrush and rolls it onto the counter unceremoniously.
-
As you catch your breath, Joel hugs you from behind, and his eyes soften. He buries his mouth in your neck, then kisses you on the head and glances at the mirror with a puppy dog look, with a gentle thrust deeper, making you spasm.
He growls quietly. God, he’s hot.
“You okay?” He whispers above your ear.
“Yeah,” you smile, looking down and tracing his knuckles.
The bathwater is almost overflowing. Joel slides out of you and pulls up his sweatpants. Cum trickles all the way down your leg to the tile floor. Always such a mess. With a softening tent in his pants he goes and turns the water off, then checks the temp. He reaches in to unplug the drain and lower the water level, then asks, “that good?”
“Yeah.”
He sits on the edge of the garden tub, scratching one side of his scruff and manspreading as you approach.
“Hey. C’mere,” he says softly.
You stand between his legs completely naked, and he runs his hands down your sides, then pulls you into his lap, helping you straddle him.
“Sure you're good?” He asks.
“Yes,” you reassure him. “That was amazing.”
He holds you in his arms, then adjusts your weight so his bulge is against your crotch, and your breath hitches. You’ve only come once. You could go for more, but it's not smart.
He buries his head in your chest, then looks up, and pulls you down for a kiss that starts soft. His tongue parts your lips then he's trying to drink you in. He pulls you tighter, kissing you hard, grinding you on him in a way that could have you quickly lose control. You're leaking all over him.
Your lips break away. You cup his cheek, give him a peck, and he asks, “too much?”
You nod and whisper, “we’re playing with fire.”
He lets you out of his lap, then holds out his hand and you use it for balance to get into the tub.
Your voices are hushed. “You want a bath bomb or somethin’?”
“You know about bath bombs?” You tease him.
“Eucalyptus all the way,” he answers, then crouches down to an under-sink cabinet.
“Linen closet,” you redirect him.
He picks a rose one and fumbles with the wrapping until he comes back and drops it in. He sits on the side of the tub and his thumb brushes your forehead.
“You should go,” you gently urge him.
“Yeah,” he agrees, and leans down for a last kiss. “Can I get ya anything else?”
You shake your head no.
“silicone Joel's water resistant,” he offers, pointing back toward your bedroom.
You crack a smile and tell him, “Get outta here. Now.”

Line to cross
Summary: When DBF!oldman!Logan catches you in a compromising position.. You should probably tell him to stop, should hold the fabric tigher in your fingers, be less calm, put up more of a fight.. He's your dads friend, a taboo line you really shouldnt want to cross..
Warnings?: 18+themes, basically PWP, smut, female masturbation, caught masturbating, mentions of dildos, swearing, nipple play, f!reciving oral, slightly forced orgasm? Tiny bit of overstim? Lotta Praise, nicknames (princess and babydoll mostly) , just oldman!Logan's mouth being a warning of its own really..
Gotta admit i wrote this with nothing more than horny brain. Old man logan just.. Hits the spot yk.. Pun not fully intented..
Masterlist words: just under 2.5k
"Now.. What do we have here?" Logan rumbles as he stands heavy against your doorway, arms crossed with a smirk tugging at his lips.
You shriek and scramble, like ice water has been pushed through your veins, rushing to cover yourself from his gaze. Practically naked and beyond mortified as you stutter biwildered whilst trying to tug your top back over your breasts. “w-what the fuck are you doing?! How long have you been stood there?”
“..what am I doing? I think I should be the one asking you that, princess.”
He ignores the second part of your question and you feel yourself try to shrink to no avail, so you repete; voice breathlessly unsteady and not quite sure if you truly want the answer. “How fucking long Logan..”
there’s bite to your tone but not in the way you’d like, it comes out less aggressive and more meek; unsure and utterly mortified
“long enough” Logan simply shrugs, notchulantly stepping forward into the expanse of your room, clicking the door shut behind him. “wasn’t exactly planning on dropping in, figured you were out.. but then I heard you from downstairs, called my name sounded desperate.. so I assumed something was wrong..” he trails off with a motion of his hands.
Shame swirls In your gut that you hadn’t only been thinking of him, but had fucking moaned out his name..and done so loud enough that (even without his hightend senses) he’d heard you.
“looks like i was the one wrong. Hadn't expected to come up here and see daddies little angel fuckin herself stupid on some plastic cock.”
“W-wasn’t, Logan i-“ it’s a futile defense, pointless really considering what you think he’s seen of you.
“You weren’t what hm? Weren't whimpering my name? Weren't splitting that pretty pussy open to the though of me, trying to make yourself feel good?" Logans hand laces with yours, as he bares down on the matress to sit, a calloused thumb ghosting over your knuckles in an attempt at comfort despite the mockery of his tone. "S’okay princess, don’t have to hide it”
heat spreads from the tips of your ears down your neck, darkening the already hot flush of your cheeks. “Logan I- I swear I didn’t mean-“
“Didnt mean what? To fuck yourself stupid or for me to catch you? Cause babydoll it looks like you failed at both”
A sound bubbles from your throat at that. shame, embarrassment, horror, arousal.. All knotting together in a potent mix deep in your stomach.
Your legs subconsciously close tighter under the thin sheet, a move that doesn't go unnoticed under logans perception.
its also a move that further jostles the dildo still tucked inside you, the blunt head prodding against a spot that has your eyes rolling before you can stop them.
You whimper a panicked little sound at the humiliation; at the lack of friction, the pleasure still festering in your gut. The words that fall so mockingly from logans lips.
He doesnt need his senses to feel the shameful arousal that radiates from your haistily hidden body and it has him huffing in amusement; whilst you scold yourself further for not removing the toy in your panic.
"Cmon, open up.. let me help" he murmurs, his large free hand grasping and pulling at the blanket covering you. It slips down further, covering only your waist- You should probably tell him to stop, should hold the fabric tigher in your fingers, be less calm, put up more of a fight.. He's your dads friend, a taboo line you really shouldnt want to cross..
And yet, you do. You want- need- to cross it with carelessness; with arousal burning your skin inside out.
You let him slip the fabric down past your hips. Past your clenched thighs, your knees, ankles. Until it sits in a discarded heap at the end of your bed.
Its the cool air of the room paired with the feeling of his calloused palm snaking its way back up your left leg that rouses you. "B-but logan, my dad is-"
"-Is gone. work called." he interups, his fingers kneading at the soft skin of your outer thigh. "Trust me s’okay.. S' just us. Me 'n you babydoll."
And with that said, a small reassured nod shaking your frame, his large hands pry your legs appart. Your body shuffles with his following, right leg coming to sit over the broad expance of his shirt clad shoulder, the bed creaking under the weight.
A scratchy kiss is planted just above each of your knees, logans beard rubbing as he shifts with you, coming to rest between your thighs.
The sounds of your heavy breath is the only thing filling the room until logan groans, deep and loud at the sight of your bare pussy still stuffed full of the the toy. "Fuckin lookatcha, already drooling.. such a needy little thing”
You keen at the feeling of his heavy hands touching your body, one sitting heavy on your lower stomach and the other resting against the base of the toy, careful not to move it just yet. You can tell by the way hes looking at you he's taking in the sight of your slick stuffed cunt.
"Want ya to show me what feels good, how you like to be touched.. show me what you were doin before i caught you" his words are quiet, mumbled against your thigh, yet demanding as his eyes find yours for that extra confirmation.
Your head moves in a nod but he tuts disapproving at the action. "Words princess, need ya to use em okay?"
"Y-yeah.. okay"
Wordlessly your hands drift back to your top, slipping it back to rest just below your collar bones, nipples perky and sensitive. It draws an exhale from your body as one hand comes up to your mouth, spit covering two fingers as you suck at them.
Once sufficiently wet they slip back against your left nipple, slick and shiney as you circle teasingly at the bud while your free hand gropes at the flesh on the other side, before moving to mirror the movements on the right. this time palm fondling against the swell of the left.
Your eyes fall closed at the sensations, quiet sounds falling from your lips; steady yet shy. Logan simply watches on, silent and enamored with every move you make.
Then your hand drifts once more, down your tummy and over the hand of his resting there, your touch soft and warm.
Theres a breathy sigh as you wrap your fingers around his on the base of the dildo as you push and pull back and forth. Alternating between the feeling of the silicon balls deep and the tip sitting bearly inside until it slips out with a thoroughly wet pop.
It's this time however logan cant muffle his groans at the sight; of you dragging his hand with the toy cock up and down your dripping slit. It further hardens his own cock sitting behind the denim of his jeans.
Logan lets go under your grip, using it to push your legs open wider as you slide the toy back inside; maintaining a steady pace. palm hitting your swolen clit with the force of your own thrusts. It feels good, fucking yourself like this with his eyes hungrily on you. It has you whining and keening, small uh uh uhs the longer you play but its not enough, not really.
Not when logan is laying between your legs with the knowledge of how to really get you off.
"L-logan, please.. Cant.. Doesnt feel as good myself" you huff and whine sounding akin to a petulant child not getting what she wants.. But in a cruel way you find thats true; while you aren't anywhere near a child anymore, you aren't getting what you really want.
The heavy hand that rests on your tummy moves down, until Logan's thumb presses on the hood of your clit. He tugs the swollen flesh back carefully and then smirks. He spits and you gasp. Yet he makes no moves, just watches it dribble down.
It has the need burning inside of you igniting further and under his touch you find any past embarrassment dissipating.
So you plead again, feeble and quiet, almost defeated. "P-please do something.. Need you to do it." you beg for the smallest movements, for anything he's willing to give.
And to your surprise... He does just that. He gives. The hand that opened your legs moving to shove away the fingers that wrap around the end of the silicon. Its done with an indignant shush when you whine; the dildo once again moving back and forth against your gummy walls. "Shh shh, s'okay I'll do it, you wanna fuck a plastic cock you've gotta at least do it properly princess”
The room fills with wet plap, plap, plaps, as logan keeps his quickened pace. Thrusting the toy steady as his eyes watch each motion hungrily.
"F-feels good.." you mumble squeezing at the meat of your tits, a hand coming down your stomach until it wraps tight around his thick forearm. Your nails dig in and he grunts at the sting of the crescent shapes denting his marred skin, but his movements never faulter.
Your eyes flutter and roll once more at a full thrust. The blunted bulbous tip prodding experimentally at that one spot again; slick and sticky silicone balls pressed flush against your ass as your hips try to buck for friction.
“ooh, there. we. go." logan huffs against your trembling thigh atop his shoulder, punctuating his words with three rougher thrusts. plunging the silicone dildo so deep you swear you feel it in your belly. "that’s the spot huh baby”
"M-mhm.. Close" You mumble through quiet moans. nodding quickly, lip bitten beneath your teeth as the pleasure builds faster and faster. Theres a tremble in your legs that grows the longer your body keens; back arching and hips writhing.
A condecenting chuckle slips from logan, dark and deep as he somehow manages to plunge the dildo faster and harder inside you.
The force makes your body jolt up the bed and you dont know if your scrambling towards or away from whats happening between your thighs. But you do find yourself greatful as your head hits the soft pillows; It happens the very same moment logans thumb finally, finally begins circling the pulsing bud of your clit.
Mindlessly you cry out, fingers pressing harder into your breast and logans forearm. "S-so close.. pleasepleaseplease"
His thumb moves faster, the rough pad slick and wet as you throb beneath his touch. Your body writhes as you moan out obscenities, the pleasure filled coil in your belly twisting tighter with every second that passes.
"Need you to do it babydoll, need to see you make a mess f'me." he growls, commanding.
Moments later you do just that. You cum with a such a visceral sob of his name that it wracks the entirety of your body; head thrown to the pillows and back arched so high it almost looks painful. White hot pleasure running through your veins as your stomach muscles heave.
Yet logan doesnt stop, doesnt let up his movements with his thumb or the now soaking toy cock, thrusting it with loud lewd noises of your cunt as it coats creamy with your release.
He simply coos out concoctions of praise; versions of 'that's it, Atta girl' and 'look so pretty when you cum' with his head pressed against your trembling thigh. Eyes dark and watching the way your slickend holes greadily clench.
He's hard, painfully so, but he knows this is a sight that he'll dream about later; his own slick cock in hand in the confines of his bedroom.
Overstimulation quickly threads its way into what was once overwhelming pleasure, turning the shocks into sparks. You writhe and moan under his hands, begging desperately as your hips buck frantic. "L-logan.. Im done- f-fuck s' too much, too much!"
"Ah ah" he tuts. "Your done when i say your done, need'a see you gush one more time" your eyes roll at that, the stimulation and the way his chapped lips press the words into your pubic bone.
Your eyes screw shut, brows furrowed as you struggle though the pain that with each movement winds your belly tighter. By now tears stream down your cheeks, hands grasping tight to anywhere you can reach of him; To push him away or pull him closer you still dont know.
The rubbing of his thumb on your pulsing clit ceases monetarily at the broken sounds you make and for a second you think hes letting up, going easy on you.
However the feeling of his hot mouth wrapping around the sensitive bud changes your mind. You squeal, loud and panicked, eyes flying open as your legs desperately try to shut around his head.
"N-nno no no" desperate hiccuped sobs falling from you as he laps and sucks, dildo still pushing into you, drawing you to the very edge of the burning pleasure pain in your gut.
"Do it princess, fuckin do it. Know you wanna" he mumbles wetly into your weeping pussy, tongue flicking in quick back and forths.
Your hips thump at his nose, coating the greying in his beard as you cum again. It's filled with a pain that drives the feeling of orgasm higher. your scream is silent, mouth opening and closing in wordless 'o' motions, brain so clouded your words fail.
The motions of the his mouth and the dildo slow until Logan's pulling off you. The sensitivity drawing a whine from your throat, while the the creamy coated sight of the silicone makes him groan loudly as he throw it somewhere on the bed.
For a while you lie there completely boneless, panting as your legs continue to tremble with the aftershocks, logan still resting between your thighs cooing softly. Hardly noticing the way he shuffles his way up your body until his spit soaked lips find your forehead.
"Good girl.. My good girl, Did so good f'me babydoll" he murmers softly against your skin between kisses, a contrast to his previous domineering tone.
You feel him gather your frame into him, the buttons of his shirt pressing into your skin as he lifts you from the bed bridal style. You smile up at him gently, meeting his gaze as your lashes flutter sleepily. His scent comforting as you wrap your arms around his neck, snuggling your head deeper into his chest; trying to burrow your own space inside.
His quiet chuckle is felt before you hear it, rumbing deep from his lungs as he pulls you tigher to him; heading for the bathroom. "Cute babydoll.. Real cute"
you whine at that, an exhausted but happy little sound as he leans his head down to kiss your hair before mumbling "lets getcha cleaned up hm? Ill take care of the sheets"
Eee- this has gotta be one of my favorite pieces I've ever written!! Lemme know whatchu think!! 🫶

OMGOMG I HAD THIS IDEA FOR A WHILE NOW
(u dont have to do it if u dont wanna !!)
BUT THE READER IS ALASTORS WIFE AND SHE EXTREMELY LOYAL TO HIM BUT VOX KEEPS TRYING TO GET HER TO FALL FOR HIM
Alastor X Reader Headcanons
✅️Romantic
❌️Platonic
TW: Vox being humiliated, Unwanted Attention, Possessive Alastor
Description: ☝️⬆️
If you wanted that stupid tv head then you would've gotten with him by now, you only have eyes for your husband
It used to make you a little embarrassed, having someone so openly into you and then having your husband come to your rescue
That was always your favorite part
Alastor coming around and wrapping a protective arm around your waist, pulling you in close in a possessive display
You always used to really play up the adoring wife, cooing at and praising your brave husband
Not you two looking adorable, you leaning on him happily, hand on his chest as he grinned down at you while whisking you away
You're not even flattered by the attention anymore, having long since figured out that Vox is only into you because he's into your husband
His hate boner is obvious
The point is, Vox is only trying to woo you to get under Alastor's skin and if he somehow managed to land you then it's just a cherry on top
You know he would lose interest if he actually got you
But Vox will never steal you away from your husband, you're too infatuated with him to even consider it
You don't even respond to Vox anymore, straight up ignoring him whenever you see him
You throw out the flowers he sends, give Niffty the sweets and let Alastor rip up the little notes
If you see him in public then you pretend he's not there
"Hey hey hey~ Fancy bumping into you here, Y/N~ How you been~? Still with that old-school geezer of yours?"
"... Yes, I would like two pounds of venison, please"
It really irks Vox more than anything to be ignored/not taken seriously so this always pisses him off and throws him off his game
"U-uh so...Y/N did you catch the news lately? Lotta scary freaks out and about! Maybe I could walk you home? Just to keep you safe, of course-"
You've already left the shop before Vox even realizes it, the shop owner watching him with a nervous expression
You fucking bitch
"My counters!!"
He isn't going to lose his shit in front of you, that would be a major turn off and he knows it
Not that you don't already know he's throwing a small tantrum before chasing after you
Not him forcefully taking your bags so that you have no choice but to let him walk you home
🙄 Your funeral man
Vox talks the entire time, awkwardly trying to fill your icey silence with tales of his great deeds
The paparazzi are going fucking nuts rn
BREAKING NEWS! IS VOX MOVING IN ON THE RADIO DEMON'S WIFE???
You don't even make it halfway home before Alastor shows up, bumping Vox out of the way and catching your bags, using his free arm to hold you close
"Alastor! What took you so long?"
"Apologies my dear, Rosie was being quite the chatterbox today~"
Not both of you pretending Vox was never even there-
By the time Vox is able to pull his head out of the ground all he can see is the two of you walking away, you leaning your head on Alastor's shoulder
And Alastor's entire head whipping around to give him a shit eating grin as you two round a corner
FUCK!
I REALLY HOPE YOU LIKE THIS ONE!!

— Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On
Hancock (FO4) x Sole Survivor!F!Reader
Rated E - 5.8k
Tags - 3rd person very loose pov, sole survivor!f!reader (no descriptors), canon-typical raider violence & death, mutual pining, teasing, partners to lovers, two idiots in love, waiting out a storm, mention of food/eating, SS!reader gets dicked down wearing Hancock’s coat, the hat stays on, fingering, oral (f receiving), spitting, manual restraints, multiple orgasms, PiV, creampie, mention of a cigarette/smoking, references to chems
started this while doing research for wasteland, baby - and was consumed with thoughts of a slightly softer “oh fuck, I’m in love” Hancock
It’s a dangerous thing - to have feelings for the person you’re traveling with. Too many things can go wrong in an instant and yet… here they are. Steadfastly ignoring the something that has been building, thick enough to taste.
Luckily, an incoming rad storm might just be the push they need.
He’s fucked.
Figuratively, not literally. Unfortunately.
That’s part of the problem, if he could call it that. And he probably shouldn’t - because it’s not her fault. Just his.
It was a rookie move, falling for his traveling companion. Should have kept it just professional - strictly business. No ‘get to know you’s, no inside jokes.
But he had never been the professional type. Not his style.
And somewhere along the way - between getting the shit kicked out of them, the close calls, the long miles of barren road - something had started to grow. Curling around his ribs and filling his guts up like ripe tarberries.
Letting it grow and flourish.
Unable to shake it.
It hadn’t been long before he had known something was up.
That it was something besides that urge to get away from it all, to wander, that kept him sticking with her.
That along the way, the idea of this stranger having his back became comforting. That he knew he had hers - even if he half-thinks she have a death wish, with the way she rushs into things half-cocked.
He can’t understand, but he tries. The bits he’s gleaned from late nights - passing the bottle of whisky back and forth even though it makes her grimace. The pieces of her past that have slowly been revealed, forming a half-completed picture.
It’s enough to make his blood boil, that scorching feeling of vengeance curling in his chest, eating up his insides. It’s been a long time since he felt that way - making him think back to the night where he had stained his hands with all that red.
He’d do it again, for her.
It’s that realization made him think that just maybe - he cares.
And not just in a friendly kind of way.
He thinks it began in the middle of a firefight.
Bullet whizzing past their heads. A nest of raiders flowing out from a jutting wreck of scaffolding they had missed.
Several downed already, lost among the ruins. A souped-up pistol in her hand, as the other shielded shrapnel from a hand-made grenade.
Missing the two that snuck up, flanking them.
He had taken one down. A nasty shot to the gut, the Raider gurlging as his legs gave out. Her shot going wide - he can still remember the look on her face as she reached for the gun on her back.
The other Raider taking the moment to bowl him over, a padded shoulder to the chest. Knocking them both against a piece of metal fencing that creaked under their weight - his shotgun clattering to the pavement.
An arm pressed against his throat, choking him - as the other fumbled for a knife. Ironic, he thought, that he’d be gutted, after all he’s done.
But she had swooped down. Fingers twisted around the barrel and forestock of her rifle. Bringing it down on the raiders head like it was a louisville slugger, snarling like she herself had gone feral.
Her hand, warm in his as she hauled him up, the other splaying across his chest. Face streaked with grease and splattered with blood but in that moment, she was the prettiest thing he had ever seen.
“Thanks, sunshine.” He had murmured.
Her smile had been small, as she pressed the gun back into his hand, “Can’t have you getting stabbed. I’d miss that mouth of yours.”
Such a small thing - her own joke. The way he filled the space with chatter on the road. But he’d been smitten.
He had been good looking, before. He wasn’t half-bad now. Charisma could get you a long way, and his silver tongue hadn’t rotted like the rest of him.
Charming words - flirty and sometimes filthy - slid easily from him in the heat of battle, the wind-down after. When he was feeling good about things, the words coming without thought.
Choking on them, when she turned to give him a look - embarrassed, sometimes. So goddamn cute and flustered, it made him want to do it more.
Other times - a look, that was soft and lingering.
“Yeah?”
Almost a challenge in the way she said it.
He could never follow it up.
Follow through.
Because back home, it wasn’t an issue. A rejection meant nothing other than a soft blow to his ego. Brushed off with a hit of a favorite indulgence, finding company in another.
But here - it had a weight. It could ruin something he truly has enjoyed. Throwing in with her had been one of the best decisions he had made. He couldn’t fuck that up. Not this time.
So he swallowed his words - before she was racing off, and he was following at her heels. Off to trouble that could be their last, and here he was - that clever tongue tied in a knot.
That’s when he knew that he had it bad.
Bad enough that out of the two of them, he had been the one peering up at the sky overhead. Where the muted hazy grey was rolling into a sickly green, rain starting to drop down. A rumble of thunder.
The first to suggest stopping at the next place they could, as the spaces between the raindrops started to dwindle.
“We can make it.” She had shrugged, as his jog slowed to a walk.
Catching her arm at the elbow, gesturing with the muzzle of his shotgun to the side.
“Not if you don’t want to end up like me, sister.”
Ignoring - but not missing - the chastising look she shot him. His head tilting towards the roof that looms just over the ridge.
An old diner - rusting chrome and shattered windows, but it would do. Well past soaked by the time they scrambled over the hill and down. Grateful to find that it was abandoned.
Picked over, for sure - but as long as there was a roof over their heads, he hadn’t cared. Combing through junk was her thing, anyways. He was just the pack mule.
Now - he’s multi-tasking. Trying not to think about what he’s thinking about.
About her changing in the room behind him. Peeling the patchwork raider gear off her curves. All that soft, smooth skin underneath.
Distracting himself by eyeing the radroach that is skittering across the pavement outside the front door - just out of range of his shotgun.
Because of course, out of everything in the wasteland, that was the thing she was scared of. Not super mutants, not even the pack of mirelucks that had them cornered, just the week before.
A goddamn bug.
He laughs, a soft hushed thing. Catching himself with a grimace.
Because, like he said.
He’s fucked.
The rain that patters overhead would be calming - if it had been 200 years ago, and not dripping with radiation.
She shivers, draping the tattered pants and worn shirt over the back of two rotting, wooden chairs - a makeshift drying rack. Missing that insulated warmth of her Vault Suit, trading it back at Sanctuary for worn clothes - old and salvaged Raider gear.
It had become hard to blend in, in all that blue.
It had made sense at the time, but in the dark and chilly backroom, she finds herself regretting it. Thinking that next time - she’ll pack it with her.
Trying to find the dampest parts of the packed gear to lay out, next. Lining up the bedroll next to the glow of the lantern.
Don’t need any more must or mold than there already was.
Pawing through her bag afterwards, coming up with something to pass for dinner. A can of cram, their only good fork wedged between two knuckles. A sweet roll split in two - the sticky crumbs clinging to her fingers as she nudged the door open.
Feeling vulnerable in the faded undergarments she wore underneath. Dreading facing him, not because of what he’ll say - that part, she is actually curious to hear.
She’d given up on the idea of modesty long ago. Traveling on the road and through the dirt and blood and grime will do that.
It was almost freeing.
No. It’s because - it makes her hope. Makes her think that dressing down might actually get him to notice her, in a way that’s more than the surface-level, flirty conversation she’s seen him have with dozens of people.
In the old world, maybe she’d wear a dress for him. Something red and cut low in the front - bare arms and legs.
Now, it’s faded cotton and vulnerability.
A “I can trust you like this” and a “Maybe if you like it, it will make me brave enough to ask.”
Rejection dressed like this would sting, surely. Even if it’s her fault, for having a crush on someone who doesn’t see her that way.
Her eyes linger on his back, where he stands watch. Where he hadn’t heard her open the door just yet, drifting to the other side of the counter to watch the rumbling, green storm roll in.
The tin clatters on the counter, drawing his attention. A flicker of lightning illuminating his profile as he turns, eyes widening.
Hancock’s eyes drop automatically. Quickly and then a slow drag - it’s like watching him after she’s taken a hit of Psycho.
Dark and glittering under her own careful watch, before they’re snapping back up, and he’s blinking.
Pulling himself back.
“Is that dinner?” He asks, clearing his throat when the words come out rough and low.
Her face falls, just for an instant. A small smile replacing it, as she scoops up the tin of cram before tossing it his way. He catches it neatly - popping the lid open, plucking the fork from her fingers.
She should have known better.
Hancock was just a flirt, never taking her bait. It was a good thing, she thought. Honorable, despite the grey that’s soaked into both of their moral codes.
He digs the fork in, breaking off a piece of the preserved meat. Handing the first bite to her, unable to help another quick look as he lowers himself to one of the stools that curves around the diner countertop.
Not that he hasn’t seen her before. Never quite this bare - but close enough, from the quick times they’ve had to change clothes.
It didn’t mean anything.
“So uh, what’s with the getup?” Hancock can’t resist asking, his tone deceptively light, “Or should I say, lack thereof?
“Clothes are soaked,” She snorts around the mouthful, trying to sound disinterested, “Besides, you’re always telling me it’s not good to let the rads soak in.”
He’s curious now, catching that slight edge. Not usually so defensive - that expression she makes when she’s flustered. It makes him want to nudge at it, poke at that little crack.
“Hey, you don’t hear me complain’, sister.” Hancock grins, taking the fork back, “That’s a real good look for you.”
Always a joke.
Her eyes roll as she sits down on the stool to his left, her knee knocking against his. The halves of sweet roll balanced on the curling, discarded tin, for after.
They share the makeshift dinner. Passing the fork back and forth, trying not to think about how easy it feels to be like this.
Companionable silence, beneath the rumbling, dark green sky. Tucked away and sheltered from the storm.
She stares out across the wasteland, lost in thought. Moving on to other things, already planning for the morning. If there’s any stops they need to make on the way back to Sanctuary.
While his eyes wander - a sideways glance that drifts down her form greedily, only to shift away when her own lift.
A breeze cuts through the building where windows once lived, making her shiver. Arms moving from the countertop to wrap around a bare middle, curling in on herself.
“You cold, sunshine?” He asks with concern, bringing her back.
She hadn’t noticed, but now she does. The chill starting to sink in, now that she’s not moving, not covered in the layers and padded armor.
Goosebumps raise on her skin. Arms crossing tighter across her chest, as her lips part to answer.
But Hancock is already shrugging off his maroon frock, swiveling in his seat to swing it around her shoulders.
She rarely seen him without it. Fuck, he even sleeps in the damn thing - a prized possession, if he ever had one.
“Thanks.” The word is layered with sincerity, as she pulls it close around her, the high collar brushing her cheek.
Warmer already. The inside is soft against her skin, the fabric worn and stained and smelling like him.
Silence lingers for a moment, as they stare at the darkening sky. The heavy blanket of rain that still patters on the rooftop, a slow drip down to the tile floor on the other side of the room.
"Hope this lets up by morning," She says as she leans, warmer now - elbows pressing into the stained laminate counter.
Eyes out of focus, thoughts already running off without her. "Stop by Sanctuary, pick up some things for Tenpines. Haven't been there in a bit, been wondering how they've been holding up."
He mirrors her - feeling bare without his coat. A heavy lean on his left elbow, the swivel of the chair bumping his knee against hers, "’m sure they're fine. Gotta be better off than they were before."
A smirk crosses his features, a glance from the corner of his eye, "'Sides, not every day you get saved by the fearless leader of the Minutemen. That oughta keep 'em going for a while."
There's a groan as she slumps, the heels of her hands pressing into her eyes. Garvey's enthusiasm and her recent promotion to General a source of embarrassment, even if she bore the weight of it well.
"Yes, the fearless leader," She mocks, her head turning his way. Pushing herself up, her arms spreading wide, "If only they could see me now."
And they might not be able to, but he can.
Not just the soft expanse of her skin, peeking out from beneath his coat. The hollow of her throat, the curve of her breast and the strain of her tits against worn fabric that will be forever seared into his mind.
Not only just that, though. That something that he can see inside her - that was there when he had decided to leave Goodneighbor. That lingers with him, tethering them together as he follows at her side. And yes, he does stretch the truth - who doesn’t? He wouldn’t make half as many deals, otherwise.
But he’s isn’t, now.
She is unaware of the thoughts that tumble through his mind, quick as old snapshots. A curling amber film strip, tucked into a canister.
Instead, there’s a roll of her eyes as her comment of "really, only you could pull this coat off" lands on ears that had been muted, in the way his mind drifts. How the low pooling of warmth in his belly turns sharp and cramps, at the thought of Preston Garvey spending time in such company. Like this - without him.
"I wouldn’t say that." He hears himself saying. Voice a little lower, raspier, than usual.
Maybe it's bravery. Maybe it's him finally seeing her intent - maybe it's the moment where he's realizing that after tonight, she's no longer just his again.
His eyes drag over her again, slower this time. And he lets her catch them.
"From here, things are looking pretty good."
She stills, eyes rounding. A swivel of her chair until knee-to-knee becomes thigh-to-thigh- something akin to hope slipping into her tone.
“Yeah?”
He reaches - fingers tracing the collar of his coat, thumb rubbing against the hollow of her throat.
“I’d say so.” Hancock tells her, “Look like a goddamn dream, if I’m being honest.”
She’s tired of waiting. She’s done enough of it. Eyes on his as her chin tilts up, just hovering.
He’s tired, too.
With a lean, he takes the offering. Ruined lips press against soft ones. Ones that part for him, a soft sound at the greedy dart and swipe of his tongue, until she’s meeting him.
She’s sweet - he can taste the sugar on her tongue, melding with the taste of her. Fingers press against his chest, where his heart hammers. Sliding over lithe shoulders until they’re wrapping around, pulling him closer.
He’s stronger than he looks. The seat squeaks when he leans, his palms tracing her waist, her hips. Tucking beneath her thighs - right against the curve of her ass as Hancock lifts his hips, taking her with him.
She moves, his name a soft sound in her throat. Letting him lead, letting him ease her onto the edge of the counter. A sense of relief and hope floods through her, dripping down to settle warm and wanting between the thighs that spread open so he can step between them.
His cock swells, where it’s trapped inside his pants. Easing the ache with a roll of his hips, pressing himself against the thin fabric covering her core. The breath she inhales in response is shaky. Another soft sound, so different than the assured tone he’s used to.
He wants to hear it again.
It’s easy to set the pace - the pointed press of his hips. Her hand finding his, drawing it up to her breast. Letting him cup her, the soft weight. Letting him press his thumb against that tight peak, catch it between his fingers until she’s gasping against his grinning mouth.
Her mouth drops, catching his chin. The tip of a tongue between parted lips press against his cheek, warmth breath against his jaw making him growl.
“Please-” She’s murmuring, against his skin. Against muscle and sinew, as his own lips follow.
Fingers biting into his skin, as his teeth graze her jaw. Her head tilting back, baring her throat to him, as her hips rock to meet his. Eyes fluttering shut as her chest heaves, as his other hand curls against the curve of her hip, keeping her close.
His tongue peeks out, dragging against sweat and rain-dewed skin. A groan rattles in his throat, his own voice distant and rasping.
“Fuck, I need to taste you.” He can feel her moan, against his lips at his words, “Lean back for me, doll.”
She’s soft, pliable. Unwinding herself from him as she obeys, only for those hazy eyes to open - meeting his beetle-black ones.
“Wait,” She’s protesting, hands slipping to press flat against on his chest. A sudden realization - shoulder curling back so his coat slides off it, “Let me take this off.”
“Leave it.” Hancock’s head lifts to kiss her again, his hand curling around the back of her neck.
She huffs against his mouth, before it turns into a sigh. His tongue brushing against her lower lip, before she pulls back again.
Not wanting to forget her train of thought.
“What if I make a mess on your coat?”
He groans at that, the hand on her hip drifting lower. Cupping her over the thin piece of fabric, fingers pressing down.
“Don’t threaten me with a good time.” He husks, “I’d fuckin’ love that. Never gonna take it off.”
It makes her scoff, cheeks burning, “You never do, anyways. You-”
He shuts her up with his fingers - tugging at the elastic waistband, pulling them down until she’s bare. Letting her kick them off, before he’s pushing her back against the counter.
Arching over her soft form as his mouth wanders, his hips grinding against hers. Teeth nipping at her throat, lips brushing where her heartbeat flutters. Clever fingers tracing the seam of her sex, brushing over soft lips - teasing.
She’s so fucking wet, he can feel how his fingers glide over her skin. How it smears on her thighs, as they spread wider for him.
“What do you want?”
It makes her sigh - that voice, so low and rasping - and she’s clenching around nothing already.
“You,” She’s unable to help but whine, “Please, you-”
His laugh is rough, a rattling chuckle in his throat, “You have me, sunshine.”
Middle finger parting her, teasing at her entrance, the calloused pad of his thumb circling around the bud of her clit. Sinking into the wet heat as she groans, starting a slow pump of his textured finger.
Pressing deep with a slow thrust. Another, and then another, until she’s taking a second. Stretching her wide, as her fingers twist in his stained shirt. Grasping for his shoulders as her hips buck into his touch.
“Should say how do you want it?” The kiss he presses against her throat is almost reverent, “Because I don’t think I have it in me to go slow right now.”
“Slow, later.,” She moans, as his fingers press deep, “Need you.”
He grins, “Love how you think, sweetheart.”
Hancock’s head ducks, moving down to her collarbone, then lower. She’s already reaching to tug the cups of her bra down, baring the curves of her breasts to him.
“Fuckin’ beautiful.” He hums, fingers brushing over the soft weight again, cupping one in his hand. Still fucking her open with the other, curling and stroking until she’s panting.
Tongue peeking out to flatten, and then drag across the tight peak of her nipple. Her hands grasping for him again, as there’s the briefest pinch of teeth.
“Hancock.” She grits out, a swivel of her hips against his, grinding into his fingers.
His own rocking against the back of his hand, where he’s hard and aching. Never thinking he’d know what it’s like to have his partner begging like this.
He wants to hear more. Every little sound she makes, as his mouth moves lower. Licking wet stripes against her stomach and abdomen.
Until he’s plunking down on the padded chrome stool he’s been straddling. Gazing at where she’s wrapped around his glossy fingers.
Watching how she twitches and bucks and gasps when his thumb swipes across her clit, his name on parted lips again.
“Love hearin’ you say my name like that.” He purrs, “Can’t wait to hear how it sounds when you come.”
Leaning forward, inhaling her scent before his tongue swipes above his fingers. Her hips leave the countertop, the moan loud as he laughs - his other hand pressing flat against her stomach.
Holding her down, as he teases her again. Short, pointed licks against her throbbing clit. Her cunt is as sweet as her mouth, his own groan caught in his throat as his tongue dips inside her.
Mourning all the nights he could have spent like this. Spending the time as evening turns to night, then again as night turns to dawn. Drowning in the taste of her instead of clenching his teeth until his jaw aches, as he tries to keep quiet. Dreaming of this.
He leans back, just enough to press a wet kiss against her clit. The soft suck a sharp contrast with the texture of his rough fingers as he fucks her open.
She was right - it’s messy. Dripping down the curve of her thighs, the damp stain mixing with others on his weathered coat.
Everything is so dry, in the wasteland. Dirt roads and dead trees. He relishes in the wet suck of her cunt, how it’s this way right now because of him.
His cheeks hollow, a swirl of his tongue before he’s adding to it. Leaning back to let his spit drip down, his thumb dragging it across the tight bud.
She’s whimpering. It’s been ages since she’s had anyone - the low throb in her belly swiftly building.
In the before - she thinks she’d be embarrassed to be splayed out like this. Stripped near-bare on the counter of a diner, thighs spread wide as his fingers pump into her aching cunt.
But he eats her like a meal, left hand moving from her belly. Wrapping around a thigh to tug her closer, hiking it over a shoulder.
Groaning into her pussy as his tongue flicks against her clit, smearing slick across his chin. Pressing closer, unhindered by the usual curve of cartilage and flesh as he molds himself against her.
“Hancock.” His name is a sharp gasp, as she clenches around him. Breath held in her throat as she watched with half-lidded eyes.
Focused on the tight string that winds with each careful curl of his fingers. He slips in a third and she all but sobs, chasing her pleasure with a needy rock of her hips.
Chanting him name as it curls low in her belly.
“Hancock. Hancock-”
And then, the prettiest of all.
“John. Fuck, John, I’m going to come-”
It’s goddamn music to his metaphorical ears. Better than that - better than the sing of gunfire in his favor, of the sweet rush and hum of that first hit of Jet.
He watches through those dark eyes as she falls apart. Her cry loud in the empty diner, as she’s struck - the livewire crackle of her orgasm ripping through her.
Better than she can ever remember. Thighs squeeze around his neck but it only makes him moan - breath hot against her cunt as his fingers continue to pump. And his tongue dips to taste her, slipping between knuckles.
The pleasure throbs - the stained ceiling spinning, looking like the clouded stars high above them to her hazy mind.
A disbelieving and dazed laugh caught in her throat as his mouth moves. Pressing against her mound, the sensitive curve where thigh meets hip.
It’s only then that she’s unhooking her thighs - a heat blazing in her cheeks at the brazenness. Too caught up in the moment to see herself - splayed out across the countertop, heels digging into his spine.
But she does see him - the need etched across his face under the tip of his hat, the wet shine against his lips and chin. Deadly in a new kind of way, mixing with the prowess he shows on the battlefield.
There’s another low throb, deep inside her. The lithe way he moves, rising - a hand planting next to her hip, the other working the heavy buckle open.
She meets him - pushing herself up. A hand coming to cup him, feeling the hard length that strains against his trousers. Tasting herself on his tongue when her head ducks to kiss him, swallowing his groan as her fingers palm and squeeze.
“Drivin’ me crazy, sunshine.” His voice is like gravel, as he works at the zipper - her fingers slipping past to wrap around hot skin, “Enough to make a ghoul go feral, you know that?”
Her smile is pretty - pleasure-drunk, and he hasn’t even fucked her yet. Her hand soft and warm where she eases him out, the brush of her thumb over the head making his cock throb.
“Me too. I need you.” She begs, and he knows it’s more than that just that.
That it’s not just fucking, right now. That a line has been crossed, that they’ll never be able to not want this again. More than ready to tumble over into the unknown, together.
“My mouth wasn’t enough?” Hancock grins. Fully intending to have her every way she’ll let him. Unable to resist making her squirm.
The look she gives him makes him chuckle - the gentle pull of her fist, the little frown. The way her thighs spread again, aiming the flushed tip of his cock over slick skin. Against the tight nub of her clit as she shivers, lips parting with a gasp.
“Hancock, don’t tease-” Some of that bite is back, desperate. Not begging but it’s close, as her hips lift against him again.
“I’ll give you anything you want.” He promises, “Just like hearing you say it. Come on, sweetheart.”
It’s hard to hold himself back, when she’s notching him against her opening. His hands sliding to her hips, liking the way his fingers sink into her skin.
How it dents around his calloused ones, soft as the rest of her.
“Fuck me.” Her eyes are on his, watching where they drag from his fingers to her pussy. Watching how his chest heaves beneath his vest, where his chest peeks from loosened buttons.
“I need you in me. I need you to fuck me, I want to come on your cock-”
“Fuck.” He groans, and then his hips are snapping forward. Feeling the tight, warm squeeze as he buries himself in her, as she cries out at the intrusion.
“Goddamn, sunshine.” He has to hold himself there for a moment, hilted inside her. Feeling the way she clenches down around him, fingers mirroring it where they wrap in his shirt.
Almost sharing a breath as he inches out, only to press deep again. Again, and then again - until there’s the slick slap, the creak of the floorboards beneath his heavy boots as his feet spread wider.
It’s better than his fingers. He’s deeper, filling her completely, stealing her breath. Those hands tugging at her hips, urging her to meet each thrust, as he picks up speed.
Hearing the changes in her pretty sounds - the gasps and the scrape of fingernails against his skin. Spearing her on his cock, where she can feel the worn and rough ridges gliding against a spot that has been sighing.
But, he wants more. Wants her like before - splayed out. At his mercy, in a way that he knows she’d only do for him. Knowing that she trusts him - wondering if he would be worried that the thought makes his cock jerk inside her.
“Give me your hands.” He rasps - and slowly, her finger uncurl from the edge of the counter, the vice-like grip on his shirt.
Hancock grasps at her wrists, joining them together with one of his own. Pushing her back, dragging them above her head and pressing them down hard against the countertop.
Arching over her as his eyes sweep over soft curves and bare skin. His coat spread out beneath her, the worn red so pretty next to her skin. Better than his best fantasy, and he’s already thinking about a next time.
The choked out “oh!” she makes with the next rock of his hips shoots straight to his cock - knowing full-well she could break free if she wanted.
Instead, she lets him take.
Giving up the control as he ruts into her, spearing his cock deep again and again. Trying to meet the messy swipe of his fingertips that drifted down to press against the bundle of nerves - her pleasure in his hands.
“Look good like this, sunshine.” His eyes drag over her breasts, still shining from his tongue.
“Real fuckin’ good.”
Down to where her thighs tighten around his hips, arching into him, “Should keep you like this all the time. Just in my coat. Wear it better than I do.”
A sharp edge to his voice, one that fuels the aching pressure that builds and builds. Her head thunks back against the laminate counter, eyes falling shut.
The words starting slow, growing louder, then running together.
“Feels so good-”
“Hancock don’t stop. Oh my god-”
There’s an electricity in the air that has nothing to do with the storm. His hand biting into her wrists so hard that it hurts, but the pain only loops into her mounting pleasure.
It’s different than his dalliances before.
Before, it had filled his time. Finding someone to spend the night with a couple times a week, enjoying the shared company with another.
That frequency dwindling after they joined up, though he hadn’t been the type to stop. He just no longer had the time, that same desire.
Finding that he no longer focused on chasing his own pleasure. His interest shifting - until there was only one face that drifts through his mind, in the stolen moments at night when his hand slipped beneath his trousers.
Embracing the crave of a new kind of addiction, the urge hooking its claws into his brain.
“Say my name again.” He tells her, feeling his own release winding and tightening. Trying to stave it off, as he tries to think about anything else, “Fuckin’ scream it for me.”
Her eyes are on his when she says it.
“John.”
First soft, and then pitching up - louder.
And in the moment, he’s just John. The John before and the John now, man and ghoul and so focused on the circle of his fingers, on her cries.
It’s too much - all she can do is lean into it. Never realizing how much she’d like letting go for him, knowing that just like in the Wasteland, he had her.
Always liking his quips and rasping tone but never experiencing it like this - honey-sweet and hungry.
Learning so quickly what she likes - how quick he was to adjust the angle, the slick swirl of his fingers.
His name is on her lips again as he brings her over the brink. More like a prayer this time, her body stringing taut beneath him, eyes wide. Mouth rounding on a high gasp as the pleasure shudders through her, radiating up her spine and down her limbs.
Seeming to reach across from where they’re joined, that steady rhythm stuttering as she flutters tight and warm around him.
“Fuck. Fuck, sunshine. You feel so fucking good, gonna make me come-” His teeth grit, a silent question.
Her answer coming in the way her thighs tighten around him. Keeping him pressed deep inside her, until his thrusts turn short and sloppy.
“Oh, fuck yes.” His grin is closer to a snarl, “Thank you-”
His fingers bite into her hip. Her name hissed through clenched teeth as the pressure builds, before spilling over.
As his hips rut until he’s pressed as deep as he can, a choked groan as he comes. His cock twitching with each throb of his orgasm, as he fills her. Emptying himself into her heat - until she’s milked him dry. Until he slows, leaving himself buried, deep and warm.
His eyes drop, as he comes back down. Where she’s watching, just as hungry as he was.
Leaving them staring at each other. His back arched over where his hand has slipped. Loosening on her wrist, until her fingers has twined with his.
There’s no going back.
His cock hangs heavy between his thighs. It’s night - dark now, but the flickering of lightning following the peals of thunder cast green shadows over her body. Eyes drifting up to where the rain patters on the metal roof.
A languid exhale, breathing out the smoke from the cigarette he fished out of the coat pocket. Dangling between two fingers, the cherry gleaming in the dim light.
Then back down, to where she still rests - beautifully drowsy and limp-limbed. Thighs still parted, where she gleams with him.
He’s certain he’ll be dripping into those clothes of hers for days.
It does something to him, an interested twitch from his cock. Stepping closer to fit himself back between those thighs, where they close to bracket his hips again.
“Didn’t you say somethin’ ‘bout slow, later?” Hancock asks, his hand petting down a hip, thumb brushing against her skin.
Stubbing the rest of his smoke out on the counter, letting it fall to the tile below.
Her smile is sweet as she pushes herself up. No use leaving while the storm raged on - and she’s pretty sure the bedroll was well on its way to dry by now.
Fingers catch on the collar of his ruffled shirt, starting to push it from his shoulders. His own hands tugging at her, until he pressed snug against her again.
“Mm. Is it later, now?” She asks - as more of him is a bared - her hands running across rough skin.
Hancock grins.
“I sure as hell hope so.”
I know this dropped out of nowhere for a 9 year old game but I can’t get the mayor out of my mind 💕 thanks for reading!!!

THE SPACE BETWEEN COMFORT AND CHAOS.
✧ PAIRING: wolf!toji fushiguro x f!reader | 4.5k words
✧ SUMMARY: wolfhybrid!toji, hybrid au, grumpy x sunshine, animalistic behavior, societal inequality, dysfunctional families, were getting into the pining everyone, fluff, toji letting his guard down, blood as a metaphor for love ??
✧ RHEYA'S NOTE: sorry for taking a month to get this part out guys!! unfortunately the semester's started and i'm also spending every free minute i have studying for the mcat rip :(( but know that wolf toji never leaves my mind hehe :33 as usual i would recommend reading the previous parts before this one !!
prev. | series masterlist.
you are slowly getting used to coming home and not seeing toji there.
not that he is overly loud or anything. but after seeing someone lounging on your couch or staring at the tv or awkwardly peeking through your fridge every single day, the lack of that presence seems much more impactful.
it leaves a strangely empty feeling in your gut, but you shake it off because you know he will be back soon.
besides, he had been the one to insist on getting a job.
("you really don't have to—"
"i wanna." he scratches the back of his neck, an awkward grimace on his face as he speaks. "i uh… take up a lotta your space. so just let me, alright?")
far be it from you to deny a literal predator. so yes, the two of you had fallen into a sort of rhythm. while you were at school or your job, toji would go out and work—you're not really sure what it is he does, and you're a little too awkward to ask. he had hinted at picking up small odd jobs here and there, like helping move construction materials or furniture, which was easy thanks to his brute strength.
it also was easier for him to lay low with jobs that didn't involve high profile people.
you never tried to find out more, because oddly enough, you trusted the hulking wolf of a man.
and it was…oddly endearing how'd he'd come back with his paycheck and drop it in your palm, voice a low grunt as he mutters a quick, "here y'go."
in fact, over the few months that toji has been with you, you've started easily picking up many oddly endearing things about him.
like how he sits upright and scowls when the doorbell rings, ears pointed and hackles rising. how he does not eat if you're not eating—even if you give him a plate he will sit in front of it and stare you down, urging you to drop what you're doing to come and sit with him. how he prefers taking a seat near your legs when you're watching tv, back pressing against the bottom of the couch.
(you try mentioning any of these to him and he gives you the most affronted scowl.)
but yes it's all very endearing. even now when you're sitting on your couch and thinking about it, there is a silly smile on your face—when you notice it, you have to slap yourself quickly.
the cool chill of your wet hair leaves a trail of goosebumps over your arms, even though your body is warm from your shower. maybe it's strange to be overanalyzing the all cute little things the wolf hybrid you let in your home does on a daily basis. and perhaps you should be wondering why your brain seems to find him whenever it doesn't have anything else to think about, but you're a little scared of what that might reveal about you.
your thoughts are interrupted by the sound of the bathroom door unlocking, and you look up subconsciously.
your eyes catch toji's figure leaving the bathroom, and for a split second your throat goes dry. he emerges from a cloud of steam, drops of water cascading over the planes of his chest and torso. a towel hangs lows on his hipbones, hair heavy with wetness as he frustratingly shakes the strands away from his eyes. you are unable to look away from the muscles of his back, damp skin reflecting the light in the hallway.
it's just a few seconds—just as he makes his way from the bathroom into his own bedroom, but it's enough to have you sitting there with your lips parted.
you spend the next couple seconds shaking your head as you try to push down the heat crawling up your neck.
the wolf joins you a few minutes later, a loud yawn tearing through his throat. his hair is messy, damp from the shower and sticking up in odd directions.
(you cannot look away from him.)
"hey," he nods at you, claws absentmindedly scratching under his shirt.
(a glimpse of chiseled abs and scarred muscle.)
"hey," you answer back, still feeling warm. you clear your throat, brushing it aside. "ready to eat?"
a wordless nod. you stand up and head to the kitchen, exhaling deeply. you're not sure what that was, but you'll be sure to brush it under the rug.
in a few minutes the two of you are sitting across each other, as usual. toji ravenously digs into his food, tongue running over his lips subconsciously.
you watch, strangely satisfied. his jade green eyes briefly flick up to meet yours. when they find their mark, they turn away, but his shoulders seem to relax.
you shove your fork in your mouth, a little breathless. "h-how was your day?"
he swallows, heavy gaze finding yours again. "not bad. work was work."
you grin. "wow what a riveting revelation. how much do i need to donate for an elaboration, mister wolf?"
toji makes a show of rolling his eyes, chewing slowly. "you're so dramatic."
"i'm entertaining," you clarify, a smug smile tugging at your lips.
"whatever helps you sleep at night, kid." he huffs out what sounds like a dry chuckle, but you take it like it's a medal. he indulges your question though. "i helped on a construction site. it wasn't that hard."
another satisfied bite. "humans are always so creative when they try to get out of doing work."
your brow quirks. "what do you mean?"
he waves his paw haphazardly, looking exasperated. "y'know? with all their machines and shit."
you snort quietly. "yeah some of us can't lift ten thousand pounds like you."
he throws you an unamused glance, but continues eating. there's a pause, but then he asks. "how about you?"
you smother a grin behind your fork—how considerate of him. "it was fine. pretty boring day."
suddenly you perk up, a thought hitting you, and toji unconsciously leans closer.
"oh wait! i had to train someone today. it was so awkward!" you wave your fork around as you articulate your words. "he was really quiet and barely asked questions so i felt like i was yapping for hours to fill the silence. but he seemed nice enough so it's fine i guess."
(so that's the new trace of a scent that toji picked up on as soon as you walked in. it clung to you, overly sweet and sticky—molasses. worming its way around your body, almost parasitic. and you had no idea.
but he did. he knows the undertones in that foreign scent, can pick up the giddy nerves and faint arousal and sheer excitement. it disgusts him, irritates him beyond belief.
if it were up to him he'd dig his claws into that gross scent.
maybe if he were to tighten his grip, sink his teeth into your flesh—a sadistic little brand of his own—he could scrape that parasite off of you. replace it with a parasite of his own.)
"you do talk a lot," he replies. the offended look on your face is exactly the reaction he was waiting for, and he pushes down a smirk.
"well i have to make up for it since you're so boring!"
the two of you bicker over dinner, and toji does not know why it pleases him so much. the dips in your brows, the slant of your lips, the strained laughter behind your arguments—every microexpression threatens to worm its way into the inner crevices of his brain and settle there.
(parasitic beyond belief.)
these expressions stay in his mind even as he finds himself in his bed a few hours later. his jade eyes feel strained as they bore holes in the ceiling, the shadows creating monsters against the walls. he tries thinking of something else, but you remain, stubborn in a way that he does not know how to fight.
he briefly wonders whether this is normal—if other people also think of you after they spend time with you.
(but then he realizes that would mean that others are privy to seeing you the way he does, and suddenly the taste in his mouth is bitter.)
toji is grateful though. for the past few months, there would be nights where his dreams weren't so pleasant. where he would find himself back in a cold cell, with the sound of boots and growls and cheers echoing in his ears. or he'd be back in that family home, kept to the side, away from the rest because of his cursed blood and so called poisonous mother. where he would stand in front of a mirror and curse the features that made him so misfortunate.
so yeah, if it were up to him, he'd much rather see your pretty face behind his eyelids.
but even then it seems as though sleep will be eluding him tonight. his body feels restless, thrumming with energy and mild irritation. his skin feels numb and prickly, somehow simultaneously hot and cold.
toji rubs a weary paw across his face, grumbling. he doubts he's getting anymore sleep tonight—it's not like he isn't used to it. he throws the covers off, before standing up and stretching until he's heard a few satisfying pops. maybe he'll go watch something on your tv at the lowest possible volume, or he'll sit by the living room window until he dozes off on his own. whatever—he's just so damn tired.
his door creaks as he pushes it open, and he internally prays that you remain asleep. but from what he knows, while you are a relatively light sleeper, these sounds don't usually bother you. he pauses just as he walks past your room, sneaking a glance at the shut door.
he thinks he can picture you clearly behind the door, wrapped up in your sheets and pressed against your pillows without a care in the world. he wonders whether you're dreaming tonight, and if you are he wants to know what you see.
(wondering whether you see his face in the same way he sees yours.)
he does not know what compels him, but toji finds himself taking a seat on the ground, back pressing against your door. he can faintly hear the sound of your heartbeat, slow and even as you sleep. your breaths are low, steady—like the sound of waves gently rushing over warm sand.
it's rhythmic, tantalizing, so so soothing.
he can feel his eyes growing heavy, can feel the tension leaving his shoulders. he thinks he can feel the warmth of your body through the door.
toji is lucky that his ears are sensitive. because in the morning, when you quietly get out of bed, he will awake to the sound, and then he will hurry back into his room like nothing happened. he will make this a habit, seeking you out in the middle of the night when sleep is his worst enemy. and he will sit there, using the thumping of your heartbeats his own personal metronome—a lullaby.
but it will be his little secret.
he has always been so stubborn.
the bite of the stinging wind makes toji's hair stand on end, but he does not hate it. he'd much rather welcome the overcast skies than bake under a glaring sun. the sound of hammering and drilling and machines makes toji's ears twitch even under the stupid hardhat his boss insisted he wear.
whatever. just a few more hours and then he can go home.
he briefly thinks of you. wonders whether you'll be home before he is or whether he'll be the one waiting for you tonight.
he hears footsteps approaching, but barely flinches as his boss claps him on the shoulder. the stocky, genial old man is way too cheerful for a job so dull, but toji has gotten used to it by now. besides the guy practically adores the big strong hybrid who moves materials for him like it's the easiest thing in the world. and he never stops talking about it.
"what would we do without you, toji?"
toji snorts indifferently. "crash and burn?"
a bark of laughter cuts through the air and the wolf raises a brow.
"you're right about that." the old man grins, looking up at the hulking wolf with a mix of awe and gratitude. "some of these kids are too lazy."
he turns to bark a couple of orders to some of the younger workers, and toji bites back a wry grin, shaking his head. "what d'ya need me to do after moving these?"
his boss looks at the steel beams toji is currently stacking, before glancing down at his clipboard. "honestly, just need the bricks moved and you should be good to leave."
toji unconsciously perks up at that. suddenly he feels a lot more energized—starts working a little quicker.
his boss is quiet for a second, before he asks a question. "you got someone back home?"
toji throws him a disinterested glance, before resuming his work. "why?"
"well my daughter's got a friend. hybrid too, you know?" toji is barely listening, instead securing the ties around a couple of steel beams by his feet. his boss continues genially. "deer. she's real sweet."
"you know wolves eat deer, right?" toji's expression is so blank it makes his boss flinch. an awkward chuckle escapes the old man's lips, and he raises his hands in defeat.
"okay, i get it. you're not interested."
toji shakes his head mutely, turning his focus back to his work.
"but don't you wanna settle down? you're at that age right?" his boss ponders, glancing down at the clipboard in his hands. "don't most hybrids find a mate by this age?"
the word sets a shot of heat through his gut. he does not like addressing those things, base instincts that make him different from everyone else, which is why he has so adamantly pushed aside that part of his nature. because he hates the idea of tying someone to him, trapped with him forever. because he knows that once he has his teeth in them he will not let them go. because he has always been nothing more than a selfish animal.
he hates the idea with a burning passion.
(his blood is hot, fire in his veins. he wonders if you would let him do that to you, sink his fangs into your throat and let him eat you up. feel your flesh and blood under his ever so grateful claws—worshipping, all consuming.
somehow the idea becomes less revolting.
he wonders what you think about the whole thing. tying yourself to someone forever. would you be open to an animal? he hopes you wouldn't be. he knows there are similar traditions for your kind. something involving a ring on a finger and a big celebration to follow. but even that seems mediocre to him. does not hold the same meaning as making you his and devoting himself to you.
humans are so blasé.)
"like i said, not interested." toji's air of indifference makes the man's shoulders slump, but he brushes it off with a good natured chuckle.
"well okay. let me know if you change your mind. my daughter has a lot of friends."
a noncommittal grunt escapes the wolf and he speaks up before he can stop himself. "forget it. i got someone already."
his boss gasps, strangely giddy. "well you ass! why didn't you lead with that?"
(because he didn't mean to say it.)
toji shrugs carelessly, turning away. he doesn't want to talk about it—mostly because it's a lie. but also because he knows that if he thinks too deeply about it, he'll start wondering why it was so easy to offer you up like that. and why it disappoints him that it is really nothing more than a lie.
"it's not a big deal."
"i'm sure other people would disagree," the older man laughs. "what's she like?"
(another burst of fire—quiet, clinging, possessive. he would stand in front of you and take the intrusive stares into his own shoulder blades before he let them even look at you.)
"she's fine." the short answer is all toji wants to share.
"just fine?"
(perfect, he wants to say. but nobody needs to know that but him.)
"anyone ever told you you're nosy?"
his boss blinks, before letting out another boisterous burst of laughter. a clap to the back follows, and toji sighs in exasperation.
"fine fine. i'll stop. you're such a secretive asshole."
toji finishes securing the ties before easily hefting the steel beams onto his shoulder. he ignores the starry eyed gazes of some of the younger workers around him. his boss, despite seeing toji's brute strength before, still looks just as starstruck.
"where'd you come from anyway?" the older man finally blurts out. toji's shoulders tense, eyes narrowing as he pins an intrusive stare to the human. his boss backtracks.
"n-not that it matters!" he stumbles, and toji is suddenly reminded of how human the man is compared to him. "you know i don't care where you're from as long as you can work."
"i can work." the wolf's response is dry. he doesn't like the idea of sharing anything about himself to humans.
(besides you of course.)
"right. we've gotten a lot done since you've joined." the boss once again claps him on the back heartily, and toji has to push down the feelings of irritation at the casual touch.
(all he really cares about is finishing his work. the faster he gets done, the faster he can go home and see you.)
a few hours later, toji's pushing the apartment door open. his muscles are a little sore, but it's peace compared to the aftermath of his old battles underground. the extra key in his hand feels heavy, weighted with some importance that he is unused to. he decides he does not hate it as he drops it in the little bowl you have next to the door—right next to your own keychain.
"i'm back." his voice is low, just because he's still getting used to announcing his return. still getting used to the idea that someone is there waiting for him.
he sees your head pop up from over the back of the couch, and he is briefly reminded of a bunny. the thought almost makes him smile.
"welcome home!" you grin, propping yourself on your knees and peering at him. "how was your day?"
"meh," he grunts, shrugging his jacket off. you roll your eyes good naturedly, almost like you expected this response.
"you're so articulate," you drawl sarcastically, and he huffs. without thinking, he reaches over to give your forehead a gentle push.
"shut up."
you grumble at the shove, pushing his arm away before standing up and heading towards the kitchen. "ready for dinner?"
he glances at the clock, lips slanting unhappily. "you didn't have to wait to eat, kid."
"yeah but i wanted to." a cheeky smile stretches across your face, and he has the strongest urge to reach out and tug on your cheek until you're swatting at him in between laughs.
but all he can do is sigh. "stupid…"
the way you turn to stick your tongue out at him almost makes him chuckle.
in a few minutes you're both in your respective spots, digging into your food just as you do every night. dinner is quiet, but not uncomfortable. somehow toji feels relaxed even in your silence.
(he wonders why that is.)
eventually the wolf feels a pleasant chill run up his spine, so he unconsciously lifts his head. your eyes are pinning him to his seat, not sharp but ever so curious. he thinks he has finally learned how to read you.
(pick you apart and examine your pieces before putting you back together with reverent fingers.)
he is about to ask you to spill it, but you beat him to it.
"hey toji?" your voice is quiet, timid. his gaze travels over you, sharp eyes assessing the sudden nervousness in your posture.
"what?"
"can i ask you something?"
he hesitates, chewing his food, before nodding once.
"how did you end up underground anyway?"
he stiffens. a rush of anger floods through his body. the familiar feeling of hatred as he thinks of the cursed last name he once had and who that name belongs to.
he steels himself, trying to keep those emotions suppressed. the last thing he wants to do is get angry in front of you. so he just swallows, and looks down at his plate. "my family sold me there."
he hears your sharp inhale, can practically smell the spike of indignant anger, before the sadness follows.
"your own family?"
he shrugs haphazardly, like it doesn't matter—it does. "yep."
you watch him continue eating with an evidently sympathetic look in your eyes. he still does not know how to react to that expression, but he knows that it makes his stomach churn with a strange mix of sensations.
"why?" you press, leaning forward. in between the shine of curiosity in your eyes, he sees that subtle spark of anger—anger on his behalf. once again, this idea makes him strangely giddy.
another shrug. toji leans his chin in his palm, gaze drifting to the side. "don't know. they just don't really fuck with hybrids."
you make a face. he suppresses a chuckle.
"as soon as they found out my old man got with my ma, they said i'd be trash," he continues. "cursed her for ruining his life. ever since i was born they told me that i wasn't like them. animal scum, y'know?"
he says all this very casually, but he finds that he cannot look away from you. he wants to greedily drink in every little expression, every sliver of emotion, every single detail that betrays your thoughts and feelings.
(he wants to open you up and dig through flesh and blood until he finds your beating heart. he wants to find it and gently hold it in his palms. take it and keep it close to his own so that it remains untouched—unhurt. safe.)
your expression looks sad now, and toji briefly regrets answering your questions. he finds that he really does not like this expression on you.
"so they just sent you there?" you ask, fiddling with your food. it seems like you've lost your appetite now. "that's it?
toji gives a noncommittal roll of his eyes. "well they spent eighteen years feeding me and growing me up. they figured i owed them for their generous charity."
another grimace of distaste.
"so as soon as i was an adult they sent me down there. been fighting ever since." he finishes the last bite of his food. licks his fingers clean. jade eyes find yours.
a sad dip of your brows. "i'm so sorry. that's terrible."
(you offer your comfort so willingly. naive and warm.
he is an animal. a greedy one. he will take and take and take until there is nothing left to give. until he is attached to your warmth at a level that goes microscopically deep. past skin and muscle and bone and blood.)
toji hums, standing up to go put his empty plate in the sink. just as he is passing by you, he notices your expression—he pauses in his tracks.
you purse your lips, hesitant. but you seem to get over whatever fear you had and speak up. "i'd give you a hug but i know you'll throw a fit."
(his ribcage jumps—he thinks he can feel himself salivate. dripping from his fangs.)
you grin to yourself, like you've told a joke. once again he greedily drinks it in. when you meet his eyes again, blinding smile just for him, he thinks he has been reborn.
"so i'll just say i'm glad you're here."
toji's throat goes dry. there is a flood of thoughts then—uncontrollable and honest. he wonders what it would feel like, a hug from you. if he thinks hard enough, he can imagine the brush of your fingers against his shoulders, around his waist. can feel the tickle of your hair under his chin. can feel the warmth of your cheek against his chest. can feel your scent fill his nostrils. the steady thrum of your heartbeat pressed against his own.
he swallows with a bit of difficulty.
your words dance in his ears—so frustratingly pleasant. i'm glad you're here.
only you could say something so disgustingly sweet and have his head spinning. he thinks you might be more dangerous than he is.
because strangely, his lips pull into a smile, one that is weirdly fond, and he reaches up to put a heavy hand on your head.
you blink, confused, as he ruffles your hair. it's not at all gentle—gruff and unrestrained in a way that is so inherently toji. but you relax under his touch without even realizing it yourself.
he wants to say more. wants to tell you that yes, he's glad to be here too. with you.
but he bites his tongue, drops his hand, and revels in the fact that he can at least look at you right in front of him.
"did your family really care that much when they found out a hybrid was gonna be born into the household?" you ask, and toji continues his walk over to the kitchen sink, answering over his shoulder.
"yeah. the zenins have always been so picky about their stupid bloodline."
from the corner of his eyes, he catches the way your jaw drops at his casual statement. his ears pick up the sounds of you tripping over yourself to follow him, and he almost laughs.
"wait wait zenin like the owners of that super huge company? the really rich ones? those zenins?!"
"that's the one," he smirks mirthlessly, pawing at the faucet. the sound of his family name drives away any remaining semblance of appetite he had. he sneaks a glance at your expression, finding a sliver of amusement at the wide eyed stare you're sporting. a quiet chuckle tumbles past his lips. "gonna tattle?"
your expression turns affronted as you scoff. "do you really have that little trust in me?"
"no. i trust you." he says it so blankly, a deadpan stare on his face as his jade eyes pin you to your spot. heat crawls up your neck, unaccustomed to such blatant honesty from the normally so closed off hybrid.
you clear your throat, and toji bites back a smile. the flustered expression on your face is new to him.
(there is warmth radiating off of your face that he has never felt before. he can see your eyes dart to the side, can see you shrink a little at his statement. his eyes trace the way your tongue darts out to wet your lips. this behavior is unfamiliar, but he thinks he likes it. flustered, embarrassed, shy—all because of him. the urge to brand himself with your name grows in his gut like a flame, hot and desperate.)
somehow he finds that his appetite has returned.
so so hungry.

i. mind over matter
aphrodite!reader x luke castellan
pre-tlt, characters 18+, mdni, def going to be a pt.2
warnings: cursing, whole lotta impertinence!
2.7k read - unedited
You have been plagued by flocks of doves and Luke Castellan. So Aphrodite decides to meddle a little a lot in your love life. Who needs memories anyway? Unfortunately, the only person you find comfort in - is the very person you hate.
A/N: first fic in a loooong time - stick with me here. there will be more parts and maybeee some spice? anyways hope you enjoy!
You’d like to think that Aphrodite loved the game of making you miserable. In retrospect, you hated your mother. She was a hard act to follow.
Don’t jump to conclusions - you loved your cabin. Your brothers and sisters were wonderful - not vain like most campers would say. No, that was not an issue. The problem started with one slender, curly haired, crooked smile boy - Luke Castellan. He was the golden boy of Camp Half-Blood and the bane of your existence.
Luke was an astonishingly aggravating self-centered egotistical bigot.
“Why do you hate him so much,” Silena asked one day out of the blue. You both sat in the stands watching Luke teach his swordsmanship class. You pondered her question for a while.
“Because. He confuses me - and aggravates me constantly. I have never met anyone so full of themselves in my entire life. He is Narcissus reborn again. It also does not help that he is a complete jerk,” you nodded as you ate another fresh strawberry. Silena pondered on your words.
“Are you sure this has nothing to do with mom and the whole..argument,” she said in a cautionary tone.
Silena was the only one who knew about you and Aphrodite’s - complicated past. To be fair - she didn’t know the entire truth. The prophecy, the impertinence, all the bullshit. However, she did know that your shoulders seemed to tense every time Aphrodite’s name was mentioned.
“I mean every time I have talked to him at camp counselor meetings he seems like an alright guy.
Silena - forever the optimist. Sometimes when you looked at her through the corner of your eye she resembled your mother. She had this soft tone and locks of hair that seemed to always catch the wind just right. Yeah, no wonder Luke was nice to her. Selina was extremely beautiful - Beckendorf struck gold.
“Yeah, I can see right through the façade-” you were cut off by a dove landing next to you. He started pecking at your strawberries mindlessly. Silena stifled a small giggle.
“It is funny when it isn’t happening to you. The bastards have been following me around for days,” you said annoyed.
You tried scaring the bird away - only for more to return. After a couple minutes an estimated 20 doves flocked around you mimicking every move.
“Go away!” you screamed - only for the feathered friends to cock their heads in curiosity. By now, the entire arena seemed to convert their attention to you.
“Hey! I heard if they shit on your head it’ll bring good luck,” Luke echoed watching amused.
He leaned against his sword in a cocky manner. What an asshole - you hated when he did that. The other campers seemed to laugh along.
“Up yours, Castellan,” you yelled with a face the color of cherries.
The doves had now increased their army to a solid 50 - all looking to you for a further instruction. Doves had followed you around your entire life - a gift your mother had bestowed to you. The unfortunate part was that they were pretty much the most non obedient monsters on the entire planet. You never had truly understood why they would appear - most of the time it was a random occurrence. Of course - Luke was always there to revel in your misfortune. You still had not forgotten when the doves caused a complete riot last month at dinner - leaving quite a mess for you to clean up. The younger campers were still traumatized.
That was the thing about doves - they were just like your mother. At first they are nice to look at, almost sweet. That is until they turn into vicious assailants from Tartarus (Silena says you overreact). They also annoy you - another common attribute with your mother.
“For Gods sake just leave!,” you yelled again, stomping off, bidding Silena goodbye.
You did not want to continue being entertainment for the rest of the campers. The doves seemed to take the hint - maintaining their place in the stands. You were sure there were some week old snacks stuffed between the seats the rotted things could ravish on. Luke chuckled before turning his attention back to his students.
The sun was setting and soon it would be dinner - but you still sat in bed thinking about what Silena had mentioned early about your mom. Maybe it was your nerves - but you knew a visit soon would be unavoidable. The doves only confirmed your suspicion. It was rare for gods to visit Camp Half-Blood, at least publically. The closest thing the camp had to godliness was Mr. D - what a joke. However, you knew your mother and her constant desire to meddle with your life.
Dinner went without a hunch - except for the Stoll twins starting a food fight at the Hermes table. You loved quiet nights like these where the summer breeze feels like a warm hug. Silena nudged you - reading her expression you knew she was inquiring about the events from earlier. A shrug sufficed. You were so caught up in laughing with your siblings you failed to notice the yelling from the other side of the pavilion.
“One of the Ares girls was flirting with Luke after you left today - Charlie and I could not help but laugh. It was so awkward,” Silena mentioned.
There were a couple of murmured sounds and gawking from your siblings - which was the usual. If there was one thing they loved it was - well - love. However this subject rubbed you the wrong way - maybe it was just Luke’s name being mentioned.
It felt like a suffocating gut punch and it was most likely your mothers doing. If there was anything she loved more it was demigod love - the trials and tribulations - and of course the unfortunate ends. It quite literally made you sick. But why did Luke have to be roped in it and moreover - why did you care? You smiled and nodded - trying to pay attention and not let the thoughts take over.
“Get these goddamn things off of me!,” a familiar voice yelled in annoyance.
So wrapped up in thought - you failed to care - assuming it was a practical Hephaestus joke with an Ares kid. Selina quickly nudged you pointing towards the Hermes table - for quite an interesting scene. Luke being attacked by a merciless army of doves.
“Hey Castellan, let them shit on your head - heard it was good luck!,” the words reflected from just a few hours prior.
You couldn’t help but giggle - it was nice not being the receiver of dove aggravated assault (as Beckendorf had termed it). It was also nice not to be the joke for once - everyone laughing at someone else for a change was different.
“Call the damn things off,” he struggled - yelling your name in the process.
“Why do you automatically assume I am the one who set them off? They just do what they want!” you retorted.
Silena looked at you - questioning your motives. He struggled even more as the doves thrashed him around - seemling gaining confidence in their blows. They seemed - deadly - more than before. Silena muttered your name.
“You have to try,” Silena persuaded. Reluctantly you obeyed - knowing she was being more serious than she was putting on.
“Stop!” you yelled sternly to the winged creatures.
Like usual - they did not obey. Unfortunately, they keep going - tearing Luke’s shirt in the process. He held himself quite well against dove assassins - a fact you did not want to admit to yourself.
“παύω!” You spoke - pleading that it would end.
It was all your mothers fault. She wanted you to be miserable. She wanted to ruin your night, humiliate you - and to hurt Luke. You weren’t sure why that last part bothered you so much.
“Φεύγω!” you screamed once more in an earthshaking tone.
The doves dissipated automatically. Like literally - poof - into dust. Again - the entire camp had its eyes on you - what else was new?
“What is wrong with you,” Luke questioned - still astonished at the sheer power of your voice - that very voice that made doves disintegrate. You slowly looked up at his disheveled appearance - he looked worse.
Beautiful.
You wish that voice in your head would go suck a dick!
“Shows over, enjoy your dessert,” you said bitterly to the crowd taking a bow.
Silena yelled your name but you had already darted towards the woods. You could hear the muttering of the crowd questioning the evening entertainment. You could not seem to care.
You took a seat in the sand on the beach overlooking the shore. The moonlight seemed to make the water sparkle like diamonds. You felt almost calm here - no one to distract you from your thoughts. Why did his words strike you like a knife? He might as well plant backbiter into your back, it would hurt less. It all led to the proper question - why? Why would the doves attack him anyway? They had never done anything quite so ruthless before - nevertheless to another sole person.
Then again - it was always about Luke - ever since you got to the infernal camp. He was probably celebrated for his brave victory in the battle of the doves - hoisted up by other campers. You suppose a feast in his honor was in order.
“You think such unhappy thoughts,” an angelic voice sang from the sea.
Your attention turned towards a bundle of sea foam. The foam began to sparkle and mangle to take the shape of a woman the closer it got to shore. Soon after your mother - Aphrodite stood before you - in all her glory.
“I thought seafoam was just whale jizz,” you spoke casually. You chucked at yourself that was a good one!
Of - fucking - course. Your mother was behind the entire dove fiasco - you called it. You should start placing bets at this point.
“Most would be labeled impertinent with that attitude - especially with a God.”
“I am impertinent.” You shrugged, pulling your knees to your chest. Maybe if you really ignored her she would disappear.
“I will not disappear yet - we have much to discuss.”
“Get out of my head.”
“I heard what occurred tonight at dinner. Shame, doves are very gentle creatures.”
A dove magically appeared in her hands, letting out a soft coo. You cringed. If you saw another dove tonight - you might just roast it and eat it.
“So that was you?” You asked venomously.
“Well thanks mom! Now the entire camp thinks I tried to kill the golden boy with a league of killer doves. They all think I am absolutely crazy.”
“I did nothing, my child.” You gawked at her - she paused to collect her thoughts.
“However, you might want to look within yourself before you spit accusations that are not true. I merely gave you a gift - how you use it is at your own expense.” She finished.
“But I don’t control those horrid things - they just show up and do whatever. Why would I even attack Luke with a bunch of wimpy doves?”
That was your mother, having the audacity to say you caused the incident. That it was all your fault.
“Love, perhaps?” Her eyes seemed to glitter at the thought.
“No.” Ugh, not this again, you thought.
“Doves are a mere - personification of one’s inner love. That is why I gave you the gift - so your innermost feelings can never be bottled. That does horrid things to one’s complexion.”
“Well thanks for the shitty gift, mother. Next time maybe a pair of socks will do the trick.”
“Why do you insist on denying who you are? Denying what you are destined to become? Denying yourself the love of the century?”
“Why love someone if they eventually will die.” It was true. Your father had died when you were young - leaving you an orphan. Your demigod friends you made throughout the years died horrible unspeakable deaths.
“Isn’t that all the more fun?”
“You’re enjoying this aren’t you? You just love to see me suffer?”
“You’re being rash.” She fired back.
“Rash? Where have you been?” You scoffed at your godly mother.
“Child, I do not write destiny - I only enforce it. I know you more than you would like to admit, sweet dove. And you - are in love with the child of Hermes.”
Apollo could’ve shot you through the chest - it would have felt better.
“Mother, you have it mixed up - I do not have any feelings for Luke. You’re just making things up because you are bored and need some excitement. Please go back to Olympus and meddle with someone else’s life,” you stated. You staggered to your feet dusting the sand off.
Before you could walk away a bolt of pure energy hit you in your spine. You flew to your feet hitting the ground with a hard thud. In a blur your mother was standing proud above your feet - surrounded in a pink aura.
“Luke Castellan, he will keep you safe - and you will keep him steady.”
You might have thought to curse at her - but you couldn’t speak - let alone move. She had disappeared from vision leaving only a dove in her wake. The pain - was excruciating - like being electrocuted a million times. Your ears rang terrible tunes as you tried to level yourself - only to fall back down. The world was spinning at an unmeasurable pace. You could hear shrill screaming - or was it yours? You weren’t even sure who you were? Only images of dark curls, broad shoulders, and crooked smiles flashed through your vision.
A quake of footsteps running towards the shore were felt as you thrashed in the sand. Voices - yelling a name - whose name? You couldn’t recall. All you knew was darkness.
“Y/N?!” a feminine voice called. You could feel her hands shake your shoulder violently - it felt like knives.
You heard screams - this time knowing it was your shrill cry. You pushed her away with force. You backed away, crawling backwards in desperation.
Once your vision returned you focused to see a swarm of kids all in orange shirts - staring at you in shock. The girl who touched you - you could only assume was kneeling in the sand in front of you. She seemed to be pleading.
“Stay away, please,” you pleaded with tears streaming from your eyes. You weren’t sure what had happened but you knew you had never felt pain so deeply.
“Y/N, please you were screaming. We only want to make sure you are okay. We can go to the infirmary and figure it out,” the girl reached out only for you to retreat more. You hyperventilate on your own words.
“What’s going on?” another voice asked with urgency from beyond the crowd.
Every child seemed to turn their attention to focus on the male figure. Pushing his way through the crowd - he became shocked at the scene before him.
However, you felt as if all the oxygen had left your body - leaving you limp. You felt as if a hand had grabbed your heart and ripped it in two. He was the one - the one you had seen in your visions.
“Y/N?” he questioned - half concerned, half annoyed. His chocolate eyes seemed to lock ever so easily with yours. He was indeed the most beautiful man you had ever seen - like a carving of marble. Your soul ached. Without a thought - on instinct alone - you ran. He was engulfed in a desperate hug - his shoulder muffled your pitiful cries.
“Please, you’re the only one who can help.” You could feel the eyes on the two of you - the gasps were hard to ignore. He went stiff in his posture - not sure how to react. Silence fell over the entire shore, only the crashing of waves in the background.
“Y/N what is going on? Is this some sort of prank?” he asked in disbelief.
He had never seen you like this - so scared. Some small part of him wanted to scoop you up, hold you tight, and tell you everything would be okay. He wanted to tell you how he would fix all your problems - just so he would never see you cry again. Although these feelings were so suppressed he restrained.
Gods you were beautiful.
“I- I don’t know who Y/N is. I don’t know anyone. I don’t know me.”

Why Don't I Know You?
Requested: Yes/No ~ How about Regina having a crush on the reader but not saying anything bc she thinks the reader won't like her, but when the reader starts talking to her and everything, Regina is suddenly possessive ykwis
Pairing: Regina George x Reader
Summary: Shocked when a face she doesn't recognise shows up in her class, Regina makes it her goal to learn everything about them, even if it leads to her gaining a massive crush. ~ Word Count: 4.1k ~ Warnings: lotta swearing, one slur, otherwise mainly fluff
A/N: HI!!! FIRST RENEE/REGINA FIC!!! she is criminally underwritten, so I thought I would do my part (other people pls do right for her I need stuff to read). I love her so so much, and I had a blast writing this, so pls enjoy <3 + I will be creating a Renee rapp taglist so comment or message me if you wanna be on it :)
The halls of North Shore High were like a second home to Regina. Some would call it her hunting ground. Each year, she relished her opportunity to prowl the hallways, hunting the new freshman as she committed every new face and name to mind, with the intention of digging up all the dirt she possibly could. With thanks to Gretchen, she knew everything about everyone.
But then there was you.
"Alright, we have a new student joining us today."
Regina's eyes widened in pure shock as you walked into the room. With your bag casually slung over your shoulder, you make a beeline for the empty tables surrounding Regina. Ignoring the intensity of her gaze, you drop your bag and settle into the chair next to her. The faint strains of music emanated from the headphones hanging from your ears as you began organizing your belongings, only to be interrupted by the teacher.
"Y/n, if you could please stand and introduce yourself."
Your eyes flicked nervously towards the teacher, and the entire class turned to look at you. The intensity of Regina's gaze made your cheeks glow with a faint red before you sighed dejectedly and reluctantly stood up, pulling out your headphones.
"Um... Hi, I'm Y/n... not really much else to say."
The teacher nodded at you before turning around to start the lesson. Watching as you sat down, Regina's focus shifted entirely to you.
She couldn't tell whether it was because she knew nothing about you, or that you were just so damn hot.
Maybe it was both.
As soon as the bell rang, signalling the end of the class, Regina wasted no time storming off to find Gretchen. Having watched you for the entirety of the class, she was desperate to find out everything about you.
Strutting through the packed hallway, everyone staring at her in fear, Regina locked onto her target as she came into her view. "Gretchen!" she called irritatedly. The small girl quickly turned around as her eyes widened in fear. "Tell me... How is it that I don't know anything about this new Junior, Y/n? Why wasn't I informed? I need all the details now!"
Gretchen, scrambling to keep up with Regina's relentless pace, stammered out an apology. "I-I'm sorry, Regina! I didn't even know they were coming."
"God, you are useless!"
In only a week, not only had watching you become her routine, but she had even started to develop a crush on you, as painful as that was for her to admit.
She was supposed to be chased, not the one chasing.
Seeing you had become the favourite part of her day, even above having the whole school bow at her feet. She hadn't even talked to you. She just watched.
She meticulously studied your every move, subconsciously committing all of your subtle mannerisms to memory. Like the way you would take notes, or the way you would nibble at your fingers when you were focused. Or her personal favourite, when you knawed at the end of your pencil when you were nervous or stressed.
Fuck, she wishes she was that pencil.
She hated to admit it, but the thought of talking to you terrified her. Her usually overbearing confidence drained away whenever you sat in the chair next to her, your mysterious yet comforting presence causing her to malfunction.
And yet, as she sat at lunch with Gretchen and Karen, she refused to mutter a word about you to them. The furthest they pushed was when Gretchen asked about you after catching Regina staring at you, and the look Regina gave the poor girl made her shut up immediately.
The lunch tables were packed as usual, but Regina's eyes scanned the hallway beside them. She was well aware that you never sat at any of the tables, so she patiently waited for you to return to your locker, which was conveniently placed within sight of her table.
Karen and Gretchen's incessant babbling went unnoticed as you finally appeared. She couldn't help but notice your slouched posture and sluggish movements. You looked exhausted. Your headphones, which you always had on you, dangled from one ear as you forcefully opened your locker.
As if she wasn't already concerned, the table of varsity jocks had also noticed you, taking your clearly irritated mood as a green light to push even more of your buttons. From across the room, Regina watched with a clenched jaw as three of them stood from the table and made their way towards you.
Her body ached with anger as she watched them grab you by the shoulder and throw you against the lockers. Your exhausted expression turned to one of fear as they held you up against the cold metal doors. The guy forcefully snatched your headphones away, callously tossing them to the ground and obliterating them with a single forceful step.
Regina choked on a gasp. She knew how much you loved those headphones.
She was annoyingly out of earshot as she watched them continue to laugh at and berate you whilst shaking you against the lockers. Her blood was boiling. The others had noticed her expression and cast confused glances towards the commotion, which only confused them more.
The Regina they knew would be laughing.
After Regina's next victims finally let you go, your body shook as you realised that the whole school had just watched you get shamelessly belittled. As soon as your gaze locked with Regina's, your embarrassment grew unbearable, triggering you to hastily get your belongings before moving to make a swift escape.
The last Regina saw of you, you were frantically running away, desperately trying to hide your state as tears streamed down your face.
Those jocks had no idea what was coming for them.
The next time she laid eyes on you was the week after. She had already exacted her revenge on the jocks, having called their parents and telling them they all had STDs, yet when she caught sight of your weary expression as you entered the classroom, the familiar sense of triumph eluded her.
As the lesson passed and the teacher blabbered about a new group project, Regina's eyes never left you as you buried yourself in your notebook.
"Ok, listening, please." the teacher announced, garnering both of your attention. "The groups are as follows," you patiently waited for your name to be read out so you could go back to absentmindedly doodling in the margins of your book, whilst Regina similarly waited to hear the name of the poor soul who would be stuck with her. Yet, to her surprise, she wasn't disgusted by the name read beside hers.
"Y/n and Regina,"
With eyes wide and fixed on the teacher, Regina failed to notice the sudden blush that crept onto your cheeks, causing you to quickly lower your head. "You have the rest of the lesson to plan." the teacher mumbled before returning to their desk, where they sat silently.
Neither of you moved. After a second of secretly hoping Regina would make her move, you figured she wasn't interested in you or the project. Opening your computer and immediately diving into research, Regina sat at her desk, trying to build the courage to talk to you.
God, she hated being a coward.
After a few minutes and a few internal pep talks, she decided to take her one excuse to talk to you as she finally scooted her desk towards yours and turned to face you. As she inched closer, your heart began to race, sensing her gaze fixed on you. With a bashful smile, you diverted your attention from your screen and finally made eye contact with her.
She was breathtaking.
Clearing your throat, you quickly turned back to your computer as you scratched the back of your neck. "I-I'll just do it all when I get home," you spoke nervously, presuming THE Regina George would want nothing to do with you or the project.
"What makes you think I'd make you do it alone," she retorts, her tone more flirtatious than she had intended, but she wasn't mad about it. You looked back at her, lost for words for a second as you tried to scramble together a response.
"Well... I-I just presumed you wouldn't want to help." A small smile formed on her lips as you briefly glanced at her, "I mean, you hardly pay attention, so I just... figured." She softly giggles at your words, her laughter sending a flutter of excitement through your body.
Little did you know she was distracted by you.
"Come to mine later. We can do it together." Regina's unexpected display of confidence caught both of you off guard as her usual flirtatious demeanour made a comeback. Meanwhile, you stared at her in disbelief, trying to process what had just happened. "Ugh... Yeah, sure, if that's ok?"
"I wouldn't have asked if it wasn't"
As the school bell rang through the corridors, you were overwhelmed with both relief and anxiety. After enduring a tedious day at school, you were now faced with the terrifying task of not only talking to Regina but also spending hours alone with her at her house.
Walking out the doors and towards the car park, the sound of the bustling school fading into the background, your eyes catch a familiar blonde leaning up against her Jeep. Your heart began to race faster as you approached her, your bag feeling heavier with each step.
Her expression softened as she noticed you approaching, a warm smile gracing her lips, and she pushed herself off her car. "Hey," she greets softly, a soft shade of pink painting her cheeks as you both smile at each other. "Hi," you said breathlessly with a small chuckle.
Without another word, Regina moves to get in, and you follow suit, chucking your bag into the backseat next to hers before climbing into the passenger seat.
The breeze gently tousled your hair as you drove to her house, the soothing tunes of music filling the air, matching the nervous excitement between you both. Your heart beat along with the music as you snuck glances at the girl sitting next to you. With her eyes focused on the road and the wind softly brushing her skin, you were utterly mesmerised by her.
Of course, you had heard of Regina George's horror stories, but this girl was different.
Sure, you hadn't spoken till this morning, but there was something about her you couldn't quite describe. Something that brought you to school every day, comforting you as you sat in undoubtedly one of the most boring classes, and that gave life at North Shore High purpose.
Frankly, you rejected any idea of her being a heartless bitch.
When you eventually turned into her driveway, your gaze was forced away from her as you caught sight of her house, or should you say mansion. The house was almost cinematic in grandeur, your eyes growing wider by the second as you drove closer before eventually stopping at the door.
"Wow," you mumbled under your breath as you exited her car, your eyes not leaving the building as you reached for your bag. You heard Regina chuckle lightly as she led the way to her door. "My mum's not home, thank god, so we have the place to ourselves."
You nod mindlessly as you follow her through the front door. As you trailed behind her, the pristine marble floors beneath your feet echoed with each step, a stark contrast to the scuffed linoleum of the school corridors.
Just when you thought you had gotten used to it, Regina led you to her room. Stepping inside, you find yourself mesmerised by everything around you. "This is your bedroom?" you asked, clearly taken aback. Regina glanced back at you, a shy smile on her face.
"Yeah, It was my parents, but I asked them to trade me." "Right...". You couldn't help but be captivated by the array of decorations adorning the walls, taking in the posters and photos that offered a rare glimpse into her life beyond her reign as the queen of North Shore.
Sitting on her bed and removing her shoes, she motions for you to do the same. Dropping your bag next to her massive bed and grabbing everything you need, you carefully sit down next to her, leaving enough room between the two of you so you don't seem invasive.
Opening your laptop and notebook, you place them on the bed as you pull up the project materials. You can feel Regina's gaze on you even though she's trying to be subtle, and the thought instantly makes your cheeks glow softly.
"So, uh, where do you want to start?"
The next few hours flew by as you worked on the project together. Regina was surprisingly helpful, the two of you moving closer as your work drew to a close. Now that the project was over, the familiar awkwardness lingered in the air as you searched for something to talk about that wouldn't embarrass you.
"You're really good at drawing, you know." Regina compliments softly, pointing at your notebook margins before you can say anything as you blush at her words. "Thanks... I've been doing it more since-" "Your headphones broke." Regina cuts you off as you look at her surprised.
"Yeah... How did you know that?" It was Regina's turn to blush as she realised that she had just revealed herself. Stammering to find an excuse, she looks away for a second, embarrassed. "I-I'm just a very observant person."
You look at her suspiciously with a small smile gracing your lips, the thought of Regina watching you making your heart flutter.
"You're different." you find yourself blurting out, "from how everyone else describes you, I mean." you finish quickly. Regina chuckles as she smiles at you softly. "You're different too. Good different. I like it."
The tension between you grew as you stared into each other's eyes. A softness behind her pale blue eyes drew you in, and before you knew it, you were slowly leaning in. Your heart was beating out of your chest as you caught Regina glancing down at your lips, her own caught between her teeth as your faces grew closer.
"Regina, honey!" You scramble backwards as Regina's bedroom door flies open, revealing who you believe to be her mum. "Oh. Hi there!" "Mum, seriously!?" Regina yells in disbelief. Your ears begin to ring as your head pounds, thinking about what would have happened if you had not been interrupted.
"I'm sorry, honey, I didn't realise you had anyone over." While Regina's mother was apologising, you could hear Regina sighing in frustration next to you. "I'll just go to the kitchen." Her mum suggests as she begins to leave the room, but you beat her to it. "No, Ms George, it's okay. I was on my way out anyway." You offer her a smile you hope appears as genuine as you quickly throw everything into your bag.
Trying to ignore Regina's pained gaze, you threw your bag over your shoulder, grabbed your shoes, and quickly exited her bedroom, making your way out the front door. You had no plan on how to get home, but you would rather walk than have to sit in that room after what had happened.
Walking into school the next day was like walking straight into a nightmare. You already weren't fond of the school, having been called slurs and made fun of constantly, but adding to that, your usual excitement of seeing Regina had been replaced with pure fear.
In just one night, you managed to spin every interaction you ever had with the girl, leaving you incredibly embarrassed about how you had let it all happen. Who were you to think Regina might actually like you? You were probably just a pawn in some big game.
Unlocking your locker and throwing it open, already fed up with the day before it had even begun, you began to unpack your stuff, completely ignorant of the approaching jock.
Walking into school with a similarly distraught look, Regina's mind was stuck reeling over the events from last night. The question of why you ran away was all she could think about until she heard a sharp bang.
Before you could react, you were once again thrown against the lockers, an irritated grunt leaving your lips. Your eyes met the same bastard who had made bullying you their new hobby. "Back for more, dyke?" he taunted you, your fists clenching involuntarily as you awaited the verbal abuse he was undoubtedly about to unleash on you.
Regina's head immediately whipped in its direction, a new sense of anger rushing through her body as she saw your saddened figure being pinned up against the lockers. Without hesitation, she storms towards the jock holding you against the wall with a fire burning behind her eyes.
"Fuck off, asshole!"
The boy's expression quickly shifted, causing him to release his grip on you and hastily retreat in terror. You sighed in relief as you observed Regina approaching you, her face contorted with unmistakable rage.
You found it quite amusing how scary everyone found her, causing the boy who had just been full of confidence to shrink into insignificance, like a tiny ant that she was about to step on.
"Look in her direction again, and it won't just be STDs next time."
The boy's face flashed in realisation before hurriedly scrambling off. All eyes were fixed on you as Regina directed her gaze towards you, her expression instantly softening with a hint of concern in her eyes. "Are you ok?" you managed a nod as the softness of her voice filled you with a comforting warmth.
"Yeah… Thanks," you replied softly, your familiar awkward energy filling the air. She watched you momentarily as you remained silent, hopeful that you would acknowledge her. Yet, as you continued to avert your gaze away from her, she gave you a soft nod before turning to leave. Her stomach sank as the failing state of your relationship grew more and more obvious.
With an unfamiliar burn of tears behind her eyes, her pace quickened as she tried to get as far away from you as she possibly could.
But you stopped her.
"Regina, wait!"
Looking over her shoulder and meeting your sorry gaze, her heart can't help but flutter as she watches you slowly jog after her. "Sorry, I-" you hesitated, feeling a surge of nerves as you came the closest you had been to Regina since yesterday. "Did you want to maybe... hang out at yours after school again?"
"Didn't we finish the project?" She seems confused, completely missing that you wanted to spend time together outside what was needed. "No, we did. I just thought we could, you know, just watch a movie or something, but if you're not into that-"
"I would love to." She interrupts your anxious babbling with a gentle laugh, her gaze filled with admiration as you stare at her in a state of surprise and joy. "Meet me at the same place, ok?" "Yeah". Regina walks away from you with a smirk as you stand there frozen.
Holy shit, you just asked Regina George out.
The trip to Regina's after the bell finally rang was much like the day before.
She waited for you by her car, dismissing her other friends when she spotted you. Greeting each other warmly before jumping in the car, you once again listened to music whilst the wind swept through your hair, a nervous yet warm sense of anticipation falling between you.
Pulling up to her house, which you were still in awe of, you jumped out of the car and walked towards the front door behind Regina. "This time, my mum actually isn't home and won't be. I made sure of it. So we really do have the place all to ourselves."
You both laughed at her words as a small blush crept onto your cheeks. You walked behind Regina as she entered her bedroom, studying the now familiar walls as she set up everything you needed to watch a movie.
After sitting on her bed with the TV switched on and Netflix loaded up, you still remained standing in her doorway, nibbling on your pencil, which you always kept stowed away in your pocket, causing her to glance at you with a puzzled expression. "You seem distracted. Everything okay?" she asked, her voice soft yet discerning.
Snapping back into reality, offering her a sheepish smile, you replied, "Yeah, just lost in thought, I guess." taking the pencil from your lips, you slowly moved towards her bed, your eyes subconsciously scanning every inch of her body, your mind going wild seeing her so comfortable.
Her gaze fixated on you, her piercing blue eyes captivating in the sunlight pouring through the window. She laughed softly, the sound filling the room with a pleasant melody. "Lost in thought or thoughts of me?"
The comment caught you off guard, and your cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "I… um, what makes you say that?". Regina, who reclined into her bed, gestured towards your hand, occupied by a chewed-up pencil.
"You always chew on that when you're nervous," she spoke softly. Your eyes widened in astonishment as the familiar burn returned to your cheeks. "How do you know that?" She smirked, "I notice everything." Regina's gaze never wavered as she continued watching you, a playful glint in her eyes.
"So, what's got you so nervous, Y/n?"
You felt a lump form in your throat as Regina's question hung in the air, filling the lavish room with tension. You couldn't help but fidget with your pencil, trying to find the right words to capture the overwhelming mix of emotions that Regina's presence constantly stirred within you.
"I, uh… it's just… everything, I guess. School, people, this…" You gestured vaguely between the two of you, unable to articulate the chaotic mess of feelings inside. Regina leaned up, her voice softening. "Well, you don't have to be nervous around me." Her eyes locked onto yours, a sincerity beneath the confident facade. "Now sit."
Slipping your shoes off and sitting on the bed, you move closer to Regina, who is lying against her pillows, her gaze unwavering. Eventually settling next to her, you turn to look at her, your heart fluttering as her soft eyes meet yours.
The room seemed to buzz with an unspoken energy, and all you could hear was the sound of your shared breaths. You caught your bottom lip between your teeth, watching Regina's eyes analyse your face. A blush painted her cheeks, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still.
Regina seemed hesitant, her mouth opening as if searching for the right words. "You know, I've been infatuated with you ever since you first walked into class." Your heart did a somersault at her words. A dreamy smile spread across your face, and you couldn't help but feel a rush of joy and disbelief.
"Regina George. Infatuated with me?" you teased playfully, her confession coursing adrenaline through your veins. With a gentle laugh, she hides her face briefly behind her hand before looking back at you, matching your wide smile.
"Shut up."
Leaning towards you, Regina's hands delicately wrapped around your neck, a slight shiver travelling down your spine. The room appeared to tighten as Regina held you, her touch confident and gentle. You caught your bottom lip between your teeth, your eyes never leaving Regina's as she closed the distance.
Time seemed to stand still as her lips met yours.
The touch of her lips against yours was gentle, her hands brushing your neck with a mix of desire and passion. Everything else faded away as you fell into the kiss.
Her breath mingled with yours, and you could feel the rapid beat of her heart echoing your own. The room seemed to buzz with an electrifying charge, and the only sounds that reached your ears were the shared breaths between you two.
As Regina pulled away, a shared moment of breathless silence hung in the air. Once buzzing with unspoken energy, the room was now filled with the soft sounds of your intertwined breaths. Regina's cheeks were tinted with a deeper blush, and a subtle smirk played on her lips.
Your mind still reeling from the feeling of her lips on hers, you speak with a breathless chuckle, "What's everyone else gonna think?". Regina smirked at your question, a glint of defiance in her eyes as she pulled you back in, mumbling her response on your lips.
"Let them talk."

bestfriend!roommate!simon leaves on an assignment, but he needs your help first. (18+)
more bff!roommate!simon (part 9/?)
cw: mature language and content, suggestive language and content, simon has thicc thighs, lap sitting, fem+m!receiving touching, thigh riding because i cant resist, soft!dom!simon, praise kink, size kink (reader described to be moved/handled easily by him), the mask doesn't come off, simon is a cocky bastard, a lotta angst
"simon, if you keep moving, i won't be able to finish, quit squirming."
"sorry, luv--afraid you'll prick me with that bloody thing."
you stuck your tongue out at him for a moment before setting back against his thighs. you sat so nicely there, your ass perched on the thick muscle as you worked. you had your tongue between your teeth as you concentrated.
your fingers held a thick needle, weaving it through the fabric of simon's balaclava and the plastic skull plate. he had ruined another piece; he had come home after his last deployment with the skull plate in pieces. he did not explain what had happened to it; you only tried to ignore the streaks of red along the face of it when you watched him throw it away.
you saw him sitting on the couch, trying to sew it together, but his big fingers made it a little difficult; you sweetly asked if you could help. a big plus--you got to sit in simon's lap and bask in the heat of him.
you adjusted, moving around until you were straddling his wide hips. you had to spread your own to accommodate his size, sitting up high to be able to reach the top of his head, weaving the thread through to tie the plastic to the fabric.
"bloody tits are in m'face, luv."
"yeah? never heard a man complain about that before," you laughed lowly. he grunted in response, a gloved hand wrapping around your waist to hold you steady. "what? you don't like 'em?"
he clicked his tongue, shaking his head, and you laughed again, continuing to sew the plastic to the fabric.
"you're gonna look so scary," you smiled wide. "you like looking scary on the field?"
"keeps the little ones at bay."
"everyone's little to you, simon."
"aye."
you snorted, settling in his lap as you were almost finished sewing the mask. you tied off the thick thread when you were finished, using some scissors to cut the excess fabric. you met his eyes as you sat there, and you smiled at him; maybe he did look intimidating, but all you could think about was how those pretty eyes sparkled last night when he came into your hand and how much you were going to miss that look when he was gone.
"the paint, simon?"
he held up a small jar in one hand, and you took a brush from the coffee table and began to draw lines down the face of the mask. you passed over his dark eyes, winking at him playfully before doing the same line on the other half of the mask. you put the brush down, dipping the tip of your manicured finger in it and then starting to draw the lines down where the mouth of his face would be.
you could feel his warm breath against your finger, and you cupped his cheek with your other hand, holding him firm as you drew along the mask.
"i'm going to miss you, simon," you whispered, swallowing hard. you avoided his eyes, focusing on drawing along the cloth. you let out a shaky breath. "i-i mean...i always miss you, but now you're gonna be gone and...whenever you go, you go for a long time, and--"
simon squeezed your waist gently, quieting you. your bottom lip trembled a little, and you looked down, away from him.
"i-i'm sorry. i don't mean to get upset. it's stupid."
stupid. there was nothing stupid about being vulnerable. nothing stupid about baring yourself, being naked to someone in more ways than just the physical. the sex was easy together; it was everything else that simon fought with. feeling. being. loving. the mundane of that love, like coming home.
and coming home was not easy.
"'s not stupid, luv. i know i leave y'here. i know," he shook his head. "i don't do it on purpose, y'know that."
you nodded, "yes, yeah...i know. it's your job. and you're good at your job, and you made a commitment to your team, and they rely on you like you rely on them--i-i know the reasons." you smiled sadly. "i know. i just miss you...that's all."
there was an itch in the back of your head, a hoarseness lodged in your throat--sometimes you wanted to just keep talking, because forbid this be the last time i say it to you.
he hummed lowly, sliding his hands down low and cupping both sides of your ass, bringing you close. you wipe your hands off of the paint, sighing deeply, relaxing as simon leaned back against the couch and held you near. your hands circled around his neck, hugging him back as you breathed in each other--your scent, the sounds of your breath, the feel of each other's warmth.
you cleared your throat, smoothing your hands down simon's cheeks.
"let me get you geared up, yeah?"
you didn't wait for simon to answer. you picked yourself up off his lap, going to where he had his things laid out. you picked up his tactical vest, holsters, his skull-painted gloves, and you brought them back to the couch. simon sat up as you draped the vest over his head, fitting it over his shoulders. you untucked the hood of his jacket from under the vest, making sure it sat right before fastening the straps and making sure it was secure. you tugged on the straps just to make sure, your eyes skimming over the British flag on his chest and the prominent letters spelling SAS.
you busied yourself with switching out his gloves now, replacing the plain black ones with the painted-skull bone gloves. you didn't react to the calloused fingertips or the jagged scars along his hands. simon was so beautiful--every part of him was.
"i'm really proud of you, simon," you said softly. he hummed lowly but said nothing. you kissed his cheek gently, trying to meet his eyes and smile at him. "have i ever told you that?" simon shook his head, his eyes raising to stare intensely right into yours. you bit your lip. "well, i am. proud. you've come so far. they would be proud, too."
you didn't have to specify who they were. simon didn't flinch, but his eyes flickered.
you reached for one of the thigh holsters, sitting back and motioning for him to stand. when he did, you tried not to think about how much simon towered over you like this. he was taller than you, so much broader, taking up so much of your space. you reached up and started to fasten the holsters around his thigh, your fingers skimming the taut muscle there as you buckle it around him. you didn't comment on the fact that you nearly had to loosen the strap all the way just to fit around the thick of him.
you reached for the other holster, fastening it around his other thigh and looking up at him after you had finished. fuck, he looked good like this. he looked so much bigger--the width of him was greater, with you seated, you had to bend your neck back far, and having his back to the window cast low shadows over his face, darkening his gaze and giving him an eerie backlight. but you would never be afraid of simon--even all dressed up.
your lips part gently when his gloved hand cups just under your chin. you mewled lowly, looking up at him with those big eyes and a soft voice. simon knelt down suddenly, widening his thighs to cage you in on the couch and keeping a gentle hold of your chin.
"'m gonna be back before you know it, luv. sittin' right there--" he tilted his head to the spot to your left, "--y'know that, right?"
you broke out into a soft smile, bouncing a little as you nodded your head. simon clenched his jaw under the mask--fuck, you were so cute, so fucking sweet. there was nothing more comforting than knowing you were waiting for him when he came back--that you would be sitting here just like this, with this little smile on your face, your eyes so wide and pretty.
"i know," you whispered. you leaned over, smoothing your hands over the front of his vest before absentmindedly playing with the straps of it. "i know, simon. still going to miss you."
you don't meet his eyes. it was hard; simon was an important part of your life. any time you lived in his absence, it was lonely. now that you lived together, it felt that much lonelier--there was a room cold and unoccupied, an empty seat at the table, a spot on the couch without him in it. his voice soothed no nightmares and his warmth took away none of your shivering. you never told him that when you called; you only spoke of the meal you had cooked that you told him he would like and the annoying step at the entrance that the landlord still hadn't come to mend.
"c'mere."
simon smoothed his gloved hand down your chin, wrapping his fingers delicately around your throat. with a firm grip, he guided you into his lap as he sat back against the couch again, your body easily settling between his thighs again. your face relaxed, cheek smushed against his shoulder as you pressed your lips to the fabric over his neck. you sighed deeply, legs resting on either side of one of his thighs.
your head tilted back, your eyes peeking up to look at him. he moved his own head to the side, and beneath the skull, you could see those pretty dark eyes--beautiful, undeniable need in them. simon was terrible at hiding what he felt behind his eyes--they were warm, and his pupils were dilated, and you wondered if he saw the same pretty things in you that you saw in him.
your eyes fluttered when you felt one hand slide down the length of your spine. a warm, gentle hand, smoothing along the back of your shirt before cupping one side of your ass. you whined, a soft little sound escaping as you jumped slightly. your legs squeezed around his thigh, and you let out a gasp at the gentle grind. you reached up and cupped one side of his face at the first trace of pleasure, your lips pressing to the other side of it as he encouraged you to do it again.
you did. following his guiding hand, you dragged your hips up again, a strangled moan leaving you as you grind against his thigh. but it wasn't enough--as you moved, you whimpered against simon's face, letting out hot breaths of frustration. your jeans were too much of a barrier, not allowing for enough stimulation, and you felt pathetic when you heard simon's low chuckle.
"awww, sweetheart...look at ya..." he reached up with one paw of a hand and tangled a gloved hand into your hair, tugging on it firmly. he grunted as he watched your mouth fall open, slack jawed, drooling a little as you squeezed your thighs around his own. "look at tha'face. fuckin' beautiful, innit? that face you make when you want your cunny all nice and wet...when you want it pet..."
you cried out at that, nuzzling your face into his mask, kissing at the fabric and licking over the strong line of his jaw and hoping to god that he would have mercy on his pretty little roommate. that he would have mercy on her pretty face, on his name tumbling out of her mouth, on the way she grinded on his thigh like a lovesick bunny in heat.
"sound pathetic, luv..." he gripped the back of your neck, holding you at a distance now. he gripped the front of your jeans roughly, undoing the button and pulling the zipper down. "now be a good puppy and take 'em off."
you shimmied out of your jeans, slipping them down your legs and kicking out of them. you were about to slip your panties off, pretty pink lace that hugged your ass so cute, but simon stopped you, forcing you back down to straddle his thigh.
"i like these," he murmured. "want them on."
you smiled, putting both hands on his vest. you gripped it tight, as tight as you could handle kevlar and bulletproof material, and then you nuzzled your face into mouth of his mask and began to ride his thigh. you were shaking. the straps of his holster were catching on your clit, and your hands were growing clammy as you tried to hold onto him for stability. you wanted to be good. you wanted to show simon how good you could be, how if he just unzipped his cargo pants and dropped them low enough, you could ride his cock so good, he'd see the fucking stars.
you hitched yourself higher on his leg, your thighs squeezing around the meat of his thigh, and he grunted lowly when your knee met his crotch. as you bounced, you rubbed up against him, and you squeaked when his gloved hand gripped your hair roughly, forcing your lips against the front of his mask. your mouth dropped open into a silent scream, a choked moan leaving you, and you kept going. you needed to show him, he needed to know--he needed to know that you wanted him, that you wanted this.
you let one hand drop, fall from his vest, and he growled out a string of angry curses when that soft hand gripped his cock through his pants. it was rough, a little aggressive, and you met his eyes easily.
"i want it--i-i want it--!" you cried. "i w-want more--"
he chuckled, and you felt tears prickling the edges of your big eyes as he laughed. your heart ached because you knew he was laughing at you. you sounded broken. you sounded lost. you sounded pathetic, but you couldn't care, you just couldn't bring yourself to. you needed more with simon.
you were tired of the in-between. you were sick of what if, when, the maybes that surrounded the unspoken thing between you. every grind of your hips, every drop of your slick that dampened his pants, all of it was just something in you screaming what are we?
he called your name, and you wanted to care about what he thought, but you needed him to know. you slipped your arms around his neck, moving until you straddled his hips, pressing your cunt right over the hardness stuck in his zipper and continuing your desperate pace.
you were going to make him understand this feeling inside. the gnawing in your chest--the thing that wanted to be outside so bad, it would claw its way out, it would force its fingers through your throat until simon could see that this wasn't a mistake.
this wasn't forgotten moments that lingered after dark. this wasn't the inevitable of a man and a woman who lived together. this was the catalyst of a bond too strong. two things, unable to be taken apart, to be reduced to separate things. there was not a simon riley without you, and there was no you without simon riley, and if he couldn't understand that, you didn't think you would survive the homecoming.
so you were going to fuck simon riley until he understood the knot was tight, and it would never unravel.
"kitty, wait--"
but he couldn't stop you. you swallowed his words, moaning desperately against the mask, your hips chasing the warm buzz that was creeping up your chest and down your thighs, your toes clenching as you notched the tip of his cock right up against your clit and fucked yourself harder against the smooth fabric of his pants.
"kitty--fuckin' christ--"
you sobbed, squeezing the back of his neck as you soaked his pants. your hips stuttered, small little circles that you made as you tried to ride out the trickle of warmth that was covering you like a comforting, pleasurable wave. your body relaxed, and you sucked on his jaw through the mask, tasting the musk and cigarette smoke that lingered there.
"simon--p-please--"
he grunted, pressing on the back of your head to tuck your face into his neck. you sniffled, moody and emotional from coming so hard, and you shook your head.
"y'r not ready for it. not time yet."
"i am," you sounded like such a baby. a cock-drunk pretty little roommate that needed something so desperately, she was so scared of what she might do to have it. to have him. "i am, please--"
"luv--"
"it's not fair," you gasped, pulling back from him. you stared up at him, and he hummed lowly, reaching up to wipe the tears that gathered under your eyes. "it's not fair, why--why can't i--?"
he tsked, clicking his tongue as he got to his feet, and your eyes lowered as he cursed under his breath, adjusting his pants, and you felt a sliver of victory as you realize that you made simon cum in his pants like a teenager.
"i w-won't wait forever."
the air in the room changed immediately. it came out of your mouth faster than you could stop it, and you tensed against the couch as his head turned, snapping to look at you.
"wot? wot did y'just say?"
"nothing."
"look at me."
you grit your teeth as he leaned down and knocked you under the chin, forcing your head to tilt back.
"wot did you just say?"
"nothing," you repeated, firmer this time. his eyes narrowed, two black, dull eyes staring down at you. his gaze was intense, and it was meant to scare you, but simon could never scare you. deep down, you knew he would never hurt you, at least not physically.
emotionally, simon had your heart in his hands, and those hands were not made to nurture. they were made to make pretty roommates cum and to pull dirty triggers. but nowhere in that did it say they were made to love you. nowhere did it specify he would keep it safe. you had given it up, before you had even realized, and he was playing you like his favorite instrument.
but simon didn't know how to play music. and there was a part of you that knew nothing about this was in tune.
when he goes, he doesn't say goodbye. and when you cried, it echoed in an empty room.
you would not wait forever. i will not wait forever.
he will not wait forever.

Hey Di! I can’t help but feel like Daniel would LOVE watching his gal get ready 👀😍
Watching Me | D. Ricciardo
Summary: Daniel can't keep his eyes off you while you're getting ready to go out.
Warnings: none really, just a lotta fluff
Pairing: daniel x fem!reader (established relationship)
word count: 988
It's just something all men absolutely hate. You told yourself when you've been told multiple times in the past that it takes you too long to get dressed.
However the man that was currently watching you didn't have any sort of expression on his face that told you he didn't like this. He had a slight smirk on his face, so it was actually quite the contrary.
During the three years of your relationship, Daniel has never once voiced irritation over it. He actually enjoys watching you go through your routine step by step rather than leaving you to get dressed alone. And that is exactly what he is doing now.
Leaning against the doorframe, he is watching you stood with a towel wrapped around your body and another around your hair. You were applying your skincare products when you noticed him through the mirror. "What are you doing?"
He took that as a sign to walk further into the room, standing behind you but not touching you just yet. "Admiring the most beautiful person I've ever laid my eyes on."
His simple statement made you blush profusely and you shook your head with a smile on your face but didn't respond. Even after three years, he was still capable of making you speechless.
A few moments of silence later, while you continued your routine—now doing your hair—Daniel decided to wrap his arms around your body, resting his chin on your shoulder. Usually you wouldn't mind his embrace, in fact you actually liked it a lot but at the moment it restricted you from properly drying your hair. "Daniel?"
He hummed in response, "go change" you simply stated which made him chuckle. "Why, don't I look good like this?" He asked, gesturing to his current outfit he wore after taking a shower earlier in the day—shorts from his latest enchanté collection and a plain white t shirt.
You turned around, finally facing him. Placing a hand on his cheek, you spoke "as much as I love seeing those, it's our anniversary, baby." You pointed to his thigh tattoos that Daniel knew how much you adored.
He placed a kiss on your lips before walking towards the closet and picking out a suit. Actually, after going through all the suit options, he chose two then came to you to chose the final one.
Meanwhile, you decided to remove your towel and moisturize your body. Unfortunately for Daniel, he missed that part while he was getting dressed.
However, he returned to the room while you were putting your dress on. He had a white dress shirt on but didn't button it up. On the other hand, you were struggling to zip up your dress, you saw him through the mirror again, smiling at your struggles. "A little help please?"
He came up right behind you, moving your hair out of the way before tugging the zipper up. He turned you around and placed a kiss on your bare shoulder which was decorated by a small design in ink.
That's when you noticed his unbuttoned shirt. "What's this?" You asked with a smile on your face, knowing Daniel's antics very well. In fact he's been in a mischievous mood all day today. You didn't blame him, mainly because you were also in a celebratory mood, as you two were celebrating three years of being in a relationship.
"A little help please?" He shrugged, standing with an innocent look on his face. His bare torso also revealed the tattoo he had near his shoulder, of love and life, and you grazed your thumb over it before moving down his chest.
You returned the favour by buttoning his shirt up but also had a teasing smirk on your face, "am I supposed to get dressed or help you get dressed?"
"What can I say, I like taking up all your attention." He responded instantly. Truth is, with Daniel, your smile never fades away so it wasn't a surprise that you had a smile on your face.
"Is there a problem with that?" He added, but you shook your head. "No, what can I say, you already have all of my attention."
"Good, because you have all of my attention too, every second of every day." He pulled you closer by his grasp on your waist, touching your nose with his before rubbing them together. This little gesture has become a habit over the years.
"Even while you're racing?" You asked when he pulled back. Your question made him laugh, showing off his pearly whites, "yes even when I'm racing."
"Look at you, openly admitting this bad habit of yours." You clicked your tongue and shook your head, turning around to start your makeup.
"You're not my bad habit, but if you were, I'd be a goner." He stated, which made you pause. "Daniel, you can't say things like that."
He shrugged and moved next to you, picking out the products he uses to style his hair. Truth is, once you started dating him, you also convinced him to buy styling products for his hair. After all, he had amazing curls but would barely take care of them. So whenever you saw him using the products you recommended, you smiled.
Instead of looking at himself in the mirror, he was looking at you, captivated by your beauty. What can he say, he fell in love with you more and more every day.
You two were silently enjoying each other’s presence while trying to quickly get dressed as Daniel made reservations at your favourite restaurant. He finished before you, using the extra time to sit on the bed, just watching you with a smile on his face.
This is something that will never get old, him watching you with love and admiration present in his eyes.

memories ~ evan ‘buck’ buckley x reader
you've secretly kept every important thing from your relationship with Buck; from your first picture to an 'i love you' note scribbled on the back of a receipt and when you make the move into Buck's apartment he finds the box of memories—or just remember how buck's parents gave maddie a baby box right in front of him then dropped the bomb that they never bothered to make him one, so when you've put in all this effort to keep every small memory of your relationship buck realises just how much he loves you
w/c ~ 1k+
no warnings just a lotta fluff🥰
“Okay, this is the last box!” You cheer as you walk through the door to Buck’s apartment—which you guess is also now your apartment. You place the box down on the small pile by the door and approach your sweet boyfriend who has already started helping you unpack. Buck’s sitting at the kitchen island, an array of things spread out on the surface before him, and your curiosity sinks in. Your arms circle around his soft middle and you have to go up on your tiptoes to rest your chin on his shoulder, “whatcha doing?” You say just as your eyes fall down to see a familiar box and all its contents spilling out, a little embarrassment makes its way to the surface. You pull away from Buck and move to the side, as you reach to collect the miscellaneous pieces of paper and photos scattered around Buck’s hand stops you.
“You kept all this?” Your eyes reach Buck’s slightly glossy ones and you’re confused by his reaction. You were convinced he’d find it weird that you kept all these things from the duration of your relationship; movie theatre stubs, a concert ticket or two, the first picture you took together, a Polaroid of him from the first morning you woke up in his apartment, so many memories you couldn’t bare to part with so you collected them in an old shoe box.
“Yeah… you think it’s weird don’t you?” Your gaze falls to the ground, mentally preparing yourself for Buck to make fun of you for doing such a thing, like so many people before have but the ridicule never comes. Instead, you’re taken aback when Buck wraps his arms around you, squeezing so tightly that all the air is pushed out of your lungs. “Thank you,” his muffled words snap you out of your embarrassed state. Your hands move up to hold him, fingers sinking into his hair immediately. His head raises and you can see his teary eyes, “you don’t know how much this means to me. I love you so much.” You’re still a little confused at his reaction but your heart melts at his words. “I love you too,” you hold the sides of his face now before bending down to press your lips to his. The fear of judgement melts away with just a simple kiss.
“Can you show me everything?” Who are you to deny him when he looks at you with those sweet puppy dog eyes. He turns back to the kitchen island the second you agree and you pull out the stool next to his. A smile immediately appears when you spot one of your favourite things, “Oh, this!” You reach over Buck’s hands and grab a small book from the box, he looks at you curiously as you open it, “I learned how to press flowers just so I could keep the first bouquet you gave me.” Your sentence grows quieter as you feel Buck’s eyes on you, watching as you open the book to see beautiful pressed flowers between sheets of paper, “but then you kept giving me flowers so I made this book.” You nervously hand the book over and Buck smiles as he looks through the pages delicately. Each page is dated and the type of flower is written in cursive next to it. Buck takes his time looking at each page and your eyes drift from his joyful expression to the other bits and pieces. You smile to yourself when you see your half of a photo booth strip; it’s from your second date, the date scribbled on the back, you both only had enough change for one set of pictures. So, Buck tore the strip in half, slipping his half into his wallet and sheepishly giving you the other half. You’re so caught up in the memory you don’t notice Buck pulling out his wallet, he holds his half of the strip above yours, reconnecting the two for a moment. You see the second an idea pops into Buck’s head and then you watch as he takes both halves of the strip over to the fridge. He turns back to you grinning lovingly and your heart melts when you see he’s put the halves together on the fridge surrounded by pictures of his favourite people.
Buck comes back to join you, kissing the side of your head before sitting down. He quickly goes back to looking through the box. He pulls out a movie theatre ticket that’s attached to an adorable selfie of you both; you smile brightly at the camera while a slightly blurred Buck kisses your cheek. You reminisce about that day that Buck happily agreed to go see the Barbie movie with you and you swear you fell in love with him more that day when he picked you up dressed in a pink shirt with an old cowboy hat from his rancher days atop his head. “We should watch it again tonight,” Buck says gleefully, extending his hand to hold yours before bringing it up to his lips, “we can order takeout.” He places another kiss on your knuckles, “We can get all cosy,” another kiss, “and then I can take you to our bed. Make your first official night here special.” Your body instantly heats up, a slight shyness appearing through the cracks. Even after so much time together Buck still seems to be able to reduce you to a fumbling mess with just a few words and simple touches. “I should start unpacking.” You giggle as Buck’s hand slips up your neck and he grins at your poor excuse, “We can unpack tomorrow.” He lowers his head slowly, both your smiles growing until your lips meet. “Okay but we’re getting food from the Korean barbecue place down the street,” you mumble out against his lips. Buck laughs, pulling away only a fraction before giving you another quick kiss, “Done. Anything you want.” You pull your head back slightly, tilting it to the side as your eyebrows lift, “anything?” Buck’s hands have drifted down to your hips, absentmindedly pulling them closer to the edge of the stool. “Absolutely anything.” He leans in to give you another kiss and when he pulls back this time he sees your teeth sink into your bottom lip and he knows he’s got you thinking now. “Well,” you draw out the word, “it takes them like 20 minutes to deliver…” A wolfish grin makes its way to his face and he lowers his head to press his lips to your cheek before reaching your neck, “That seems like a challenge.” You giggle again when he nips at your skin, “You have to order the food first, Buck.” His groan vibrates against your neck, “I’m just getting a head start.” You squeal when he jolts your hips off of the stool completely. Your arms and legs immediately tighten around his strong frame as his lips lock onto yours again.
Your first official night living together was definitely going to be something special, Buck would make sure of that.

As per usual, I humbly request your thoughts! Reblogs are always appreciated and welcomed, not only do I see them easier but it lets other people see my work. Thanks to everyone who reads this one and thank you for all your energy.<3
Love you all like Thor loves thunder. Take care. 💖
Your mother’s singing along to her favourite Donna Summer classic as you come through the front door. She doesn’t hear you as you drop your bag and your boots at the door. You cluck and shake your head as you tiptoe down the hallway and peer into the kitchen. All this just because you’re staying the night?
You tilt your head and squint at her diligent fingers. She roles the filo around the filling and places each little pocket on a pan. The warmth of the stove radiates through the space and beckons you in. After the frigid chill of your apartment, it’s a relief.
You waft over to the counter with the smell of baking pastry and chopped peppers. You stand beside your mom quietly and smile at her work. Her arm collides with yours and she looks down at you. She squeals and tosses one of the uncooked hors d’oevres. It sticks to the wall before falling apart.
“Oh, my!” She puts her hand to her chest and raises her voice, “Alexa, lower volume.” The music recedes and you back up with an apologetic bow. “Hon, I didn’t know you were here. Oh, I hate when you sneak up on me like that.”
It’s not intentional, more a bad habit. You’re a bit too quiet for your own good sometimes. And hers.
“Sorry,” you mutter and turn your attention back to the pan, “...lotta food...”
“Yes, I—I'm so sorry, I didn’t mention. I forgot.” She rambles as she does. Where you’re quiet and reserved, she often talks in streams of nervousness. “When you called, I was so busy and I had so much going on in my head. Sometimes it feels like there’s a hamster in there running on its wheel.” She throws her hands up in emphasis, “anywho, I’m so sorry to hear about the building, did the landlord say when the heat will be fixed?”
“...dunno,” you shrug and sway. “...the food?”
“Oh, right, yes! I was saying, dear, I have an old friend coming over. He’s just moved to town and I was so excited to hear from him. We went to college together! I last saw him when I was probably your age. He’s so nice, you know? And we kinda found each other online when I was looking up fake flowers for the new door wreath. I was thinking pinecones would be seasonal but then it occured to me I could get some real ones from the part--”
“Mom,” you rein her in with a dulcet drone.
“Ah, my friend, I know! He’s so lovely. You’ll like him. I figure, we can have dinner and some drinks. You’re welcome to join.”
You nod and peek over skeptically at the bottle of wine, “wouldn’t wanna invade. Should’ve said something.”
“You know you’re always welcome here,” she reaches for you and you catch her wrists, keeping her sticky hand from touching your cheeks. “Oops!” She giggles and recoils. She turns and rinses her hands off. “Sorry, hon.”
“I’ll stay out of the way,” you assure her.
“Don’t be shy. Oh, and make sure you at least get some food.” She flutters around and dries off with a hand towel. “You’ll like him. Thor is super nice! He knew your dad too.”
You nod and don’t comment on the last part. You never really knew your father yourself. He left when you were young. He didn’t go very far but you see your half-sibling in passing at the mall or even a few times at college. Thankfully, you’re all done with classes.
“Alright,” you agree. “I’ll put my stuff away.”
She hums and tells the smart speaker to turn it back up. You leave in the blare of disco music and grab your bag from the entryway. You wish you’d known she was having company. You would have just made do with some extra blankets.
As if to blow away that thought, the wind whistles and shakes the windows. You go upstairs and put your knapsack on the wooden chair by the narrow desk against the wall. You stretch your arms and yawn as you pace around. Your stomach growls as the aromas in the kitchen follow you up.
You go back down, hoping to assuage your appetite with some water, and as you get the bottom step, the doorbell chimes. You stop and wait, staring at the door. You mom sings along to Lipps, Inc and you sigh.
You hop down and shuffle to the door. You pull it open, hiding behind it shyly. The man on the other side searches over your head before he thinks to look down. As you peek around wood, he smiles.
He’s tall. Very tall. And his shoulders are as wide as the large oak in the front yard. His hair shines beneath the light hung beside the door as his eyes sparkle.
He holds a cone of flowers, the petals bristling in the fall wind, as shadow dims their colour.
“Hm, I must have the wrong address,” he leans back on his heel and reads the numbers on the siding. “You wouldn’t happen to know where Selina lives?”
“Here,” you squawk awkwardly.
“Oh? You’ve shrunk... but you’ve aged well.” He tilts his head but his lips suggest he’s joking.
“She’s in the kitchen. Wait.”
You close the door in his face. It’s only as you go to get your mom, that you realise how rude you must have seemed. You didn’t invite him in or introduce yourself. Well, he isn’t here for you, is he?
You go to the smart speaker and tap the button to pause the music, “he’s here.”
“Oh!” She squeals and bounces, “already?”
“Mmhmm,” you nod and back out of her way as she hurries to the door.
She sweeps through and swings the door open. A gust of wind blows in and you peer around the door frame. The man’s deep voice booms out.
“Selina! You look just as young as the day we met!”
“Oh you!” She chirps. “You always were the worst liar.”
“Mm, I am very honest, Seli,” he rumbles. “And who was that little mouse that was scurrying around? She fled so fast, I did not get a name.”
“Oh, that’s my daughter,” she explains. “I told you about her. Her radiator broke so she’s here for the night. Always nice to have a full nest!”
“Of course, of course,” he agrees. “Well, I wish I’d known. I’d have brought two bouquets.”
“These are so lovely. When did you get so sweet, Thor?”
“I’ve always been sweet, you were just too distracted to notice,” he retorts.
She laughs and titters around, “I need a vase. Oh, these are beautiful! Ooh, and a much needed pop of colour. I do hate the winter and it’s coming so fast. Please, come in, come in! You must be freezing.”
He chuckles, amused by her chatter, “you know I always liked the cold.”
“Mm, you would. Well, not all of us can bear it. Honey! Oh, there you are,” she pokes her head out from the dining room. “Come, meet my friend.”
You reluctantly come forward. You fold your hands together and drag your feet. You should’ve stayed upstairs.
“This is Thor. We both took architecture together!”
You nod and look at her wide-eyed. You can’t bring yourself to meet his gaze but you know he’s watching you. You rock and twine your fingers between each other.
“She just finished her own degree. She took literature! Isn’t that so lovely?”
“Literature? Ah, my brother was always a fan,” he muses. “I do like some good story telling but I could never pick up much on the symbolism.”
You slant your lips, “oh, cool.”
“Anyway, I have some wine, why don’t you have a glass while I finish dinner? Hon, you want some too?” She stops beside you with the cluster of flowers. You shake your head.
You flit up around the staircase, crowded by Thor as he lurks there, and you quickly flee. You don’t look back as you turn down the hall and barrel into his room. You can’t make out your mother’s words as she speaks but his laughter thunders up after you.
You hide in your room and harrumph. You don’t know why you’re like this. Even at work, you can’t help but try to blend into the wall. It’s not hard to do in the stock room.
You take out your laptop and resign yourself to a night of Netflix. You’re a bit disappointed. You were hoping to spend some time with your mom but she deserves a life of your own. For all the years she spent making sure you got this far, she’s earned it.
You turn the speakers up until they hurt your ears. You can still hear their voices below. The savoury scent of your mother’s cooking rise with their conversation. You didn’t realise how much you missed her dinners until now. Those frozen dinners and fast-food deliveries can’t compare with the real thing.
You hunker down in bed and try not to think of your growling stomach. You’ll wait to reheat some once that guy leaves. You sink down further and further, basking in the warmth of blasting from the vents. You dread going back to your apartment, even after the heat is fixed.
Your eyelids begin to itch but before you can drift off, there’s a knock on your door. You get up and open it for your mom. The plate in her hands has your mouth watering as you get another whiff of her handwork.
“Here ya go, hon,” she holds it out. “I’m sorry it’s a full house.”
“It’s okay. Didn’t have to.”
“You need to eat,” she insists. You take the plate. “We’ll try to be quiet. You know he’s so loud. He always has been. He makes me seem tame, doesn’t he?”
You smile at her yapping. She’s so vibrant and chatty. You never could be even when you try. You envy how bright she can be. You feel so dull next to her. Sometimes you feel like you’ve disappointed her.
“Thanks," you murmur.
“No problem! Love you.”
“Love you too.”
You wait for her to go before you close the door. You might not have a dad but you’re lucky to have her. You put the plate on your desk and move your laptop. You eat as you watch the show that isn’t as good as the internet suggested.
The food is delicious. The little stuffed pastries are a bit spicy and you regret not grabbing a glass of water earlier. You got so distracted by that man. You think of sneaking down but you can just drink from the bathroom sink when you finish. A little tap water won’t hurt.
You clear your plate quicker than you mean to and go back to the bed. The moonlight wavers outside your window as the night ware on. You yawn and make yourself get up. You can’t leave your dirty plate in here.
You don’t notice the quiet in the house until you open the door. You listen at the top of the stairs before you descend. Slowly and silently, you make your way to the bottom and curve around to the kitchen. You rinse your plate off and grab some water while you have the chance.
Your pulse builds as the house remains still. Strange. How did you not realise earlier? Well, you had your laptop cranked up. You can hear it from down there.
You head back upstairs, balancing the glass in the dark, and as you pass your mom’s door, it opens. You yipe as a large figure collides with you. It’s him. Thor.
You spill the water down your front and whip around to face him. He steadies you with his hand on your shoulder, “so sorry, mouse. I didn’t mean to--”
His flannel shirt is undone and the soft glow of a lamp limns him from behind. Oh no! You pull away from him and skirt down the hall. Embarrassment nips at your ears and cheeks. You knew you were intruding on your mom’s night.
You try not to think of what you interrupted as you dip into the spare room and snap the door shut with a kick of your foot. You stay near the door, breathless, until you hear the bathroom door squeak on its hinges. You shake your head and growl.
You hope you didn’t ruin it. As awkward as it is to think of your mom in a relationship, she’s been alone for so long and you know you’re part of the reason why. Next time, you won’t go running back to mommy. It’s best for both of you that you grow up.

A/N: Ohhhh boy. Shit is happenin' in this one! Hope you all enjoy!
Part 2 (previous chapter)
Consciousness didn’t consume you in an instant like it usually did. Instead, it came back as a slow drip, drip, drip. Your hearing was the first thing to return and you marked that it was almost silent. There was no bird song, no wind rustling the leaves, no cracking of branches as the pines swayed. You felt no air moving past your face or in your hair. I must be dead, you thought. But then, sensation started to come back and your body ached and burned. Your head was pounding and foggy. Surely being dead didn’t hurt this much… You were lying on something soft. You couldn’t make sense of what was happening or where you were.
You concentrated on trying to open your eyes. It felt like it took hours to get your eyelids to lift and when they did you stared up at an unfamiliar ceiling. Ceiling? What the fuck?
There was suddenly movement beside you, a soft rustling and you turned to look as quickly as you were able to. The man was familiar and though you’d only seen him once up close, you recognized him immediately. He spoke, sitting up hurriedly when he saw your eyes open. “Hey,” he drawled softly.
You gulped and started to panic, your eyes darting around the room and over your own body. You were in some kind of makeshift hospital or clinic and found that you were wearing only a cotton smock reminiscent of the hospital gowns of the old world.
Your heart was pounding. Fuck, your side burned. Your ribs ached. There was a thick bandage around your forearm, where Alpha’s knife had sliced you. You noted that the tip of one of your fingers was black and blue. Your mind was racing, thoughts moving through too quickly to focus on. You stared at the IV tubing going into your arm.
Daryl could read the rising panic on your face, on the sudden twitchy and feverish energy rising in you. He tried to calm you down. “Hey, s’alrigh’. Yer safe here. Yer—”
But the next moment you were on your feet, slipping off the bed onto the floor on the side opposite him. He watched, stunned, as you yanked the IV from your arm, leaving the tube dangling and dripping onto the floor.
He stood quickly, palms out in a show of good will and tried again to get through to you. “S’okay. Yer safe,” he urged, his voice and expression soft. But your eyes were still darting around the room.
You clutched a hand over your side and grimaced. You couldn’t even stand straight. Your body was hunched over due to the overwhelming pain in your side and abdomen. Your muscles felt weak and rubbery. “Where the fuck am I? Where the hell are my clothes, my gear?” you demanded, fear rising in you quickly, tightening around your lungs. Your vision began to tunnel inwards, the edges growing blurry and then black, skrinking, tightening.
“We put it aside for ya,” Daryl replied, trying his hardest to keep his voice low and steady. He could see you swirling, buzzing with nerves and something that looked like fear. “Let’s just—get ya back in bed. Ya just had surgery. Ya lost a lotta blood. Ya shouldn’t be up yet.”
You only stared back at him, your eyes sharp and intense, distrustful.
“Ya’ve got stitches,” Daryl said, taking a hesitant step toward the end of the bed separating the two of you, trying to move closer. He could see your eyes repeatedly darting toward the door. You were going to make a run for it, whether that was rational or not. “We’re tryin’ to help ya. It’s okay,” he drawled again, but he knew he needed back up. “Hey, doc!” He suddenly yelled over his shoulder. “Little help over here!”
A lot of things happened very quickly after that. Afraid that you would injure yourself further if you made a run for it, Daryl stepped around the bed and tried to block your exit with his broad frame. Then, Siddiq and Enid came running from the other side of the clinic just in time to see you haul back a fist and punch Daryl right in the face. He crumpled a little to the side, blood pouring out of his nose.
“Ah, fuck!” he growled, looking at the crimson now dotting the floor and his hands.
You tried to dash past him but suddenly your knees hit the floor. The pain in your side was exponentially worse. You clutched a hand to it, gasping, and felt something wet wicking into the cotton. Lifting your fingers, you saw a violent red spot growing on the fabric.
Daryl stood up, shaking his wavy brown hair out of his eyes and holding a bandana to his nosebleed, but not taking his eyes off you. You looked like a cornered wild animal.
“Enid,” Siddiq said quietly, “get something to sedate her. She tore her stitches.” Now, Siddiq too was stepping toward you with his palms out, cautious and worried about you making the situation worse than it already was. “We just want to help you, okay? You’re hurt pretty bad. You had surgery. Luke and Alden brought you back here. They saved your life. Let’s just—take a few deep breaths, and then get back in bed…”
The edges of your vision were starting to close in. It was like peering through a tunnel that was growing smaller and smaller. “Fuck you,” you murmured. You were surprised by how breathy and weak your voice came out. You tried again to get back up on your feet, but your legs wouldn’t hold you. You collapsed again to the floor and Daryl and Siddiq seized the opportunity and moved in, grabbing hold of you to restrain you. You tried to fight against them but what little energy you had was gone. None of your muscles were working.
“Enid! Hurry up!” Siddiq called.
The tunnel of black in your vision closed in completely. You shut your eyes, sinking slowly toward unconsciousness again. You were vaguely aware of the voices filtering in still. They sounded like they were coming out of a drain, indistinct and muddled.
“Give her the injection,” Siddiq urged. Enid rushed forward and administered the dose into your upper arm.
Daryl, his nose finally no longer bleeding, could see that you were already crashing even before the shot. He cradled your head and neck as you collapsed toward the cold, tile floor.
“How bad is it?” he asked as you went limp in his arms. The crimson stain seemed impossibly large already on your cotton gown, but he hoped it was just from the way the fabric was wicking up the blood.
Siddiq’s jaw clenched. “I don’t know. Let’s hope she only tore the surface stitches, otherwise we’ll have to do surgery again. Enid, you’ll have to check her. Grab a towel to put under her on the bed. Here—Daryl, help me get her laid down again.”
“I’ll get her,” Daryl replied. “Just go get what ya need to treat her.” Siddiq agreed and hurried off. Daryl scooped you into his arms as gently as he could and laid you down on the bed again, sighing. He stepped back with his brow deeply furrowed.
Enid glanced over at him. His face was a bloody mess and he dabbed at it again with his handkerchief, tilting his head back and again shaking his hair out of his eyes. “How’s your nose? Do you think it’s broken?” she asked.
Daryl gave it an exploratory prod, wincing as he pushed his fingers along the bridge. It was swollen, but he didn’t think it was broken. He shook his head. “Nah. I dun think so. But she got me pretty good for somebody in her shape,” he drawled.
Enid nodded and glanced back at you on the bed. “What happened that set her off?”
Daryl shook his head and shrugged vaguely. “She just—woke up. And then started lookin’ for a way out,” he said. “I think—I think she was havin’ a panic attack.”
Enid sighed. “As much as I hate to say it, we might need to restrain her,” she said, turning her attention to the wound in your side now. “She could have really done more damage to herself.” Siddiq returned with supplies. Daryl averted his eyes and moved around the other side of the bed as Enid pulled up the gown to expose your wounds. Daryl caught just the smallest glimpse of the deep blue and black bruising blooming up your side, smeared with red.
“I’ll let ya take care of her, give her some privacy. I’ll go update ev’rybody,” he drawled, quickly taking his leave and stepping out into the open air. He pulled in a deep lungful and rubbed a hand over his face. Fuck. That almost couldn’t have gone worse.
Before he did anything, Daryl needed to clean himself up. He headed up to the big main house and sought out a washing basin, pouring in fresh water from the pitcher and washing his hands and face, inspecting himself in the mirror. His nose was definitely swollen and it was a bit hard to breathe… but it looked far better without all the blood everywhere. He wondered if he’d have the shadow of a couple black eyes tomorrow…
“God!” Tara was suddenly striding up to him, concern written all over her face. “What happened to you?!” she asked, incredulous. Alright, so maybe his nose still didn’t look great…
“Uhh—she woke up,” Daryl drawled.
“And—what? Attacked you?” Tara asked, perplexed.
“I think she was havin’ a panic attack. She just looked scared more than anythin’. She tried to run outta the damn clinic with her fuckin’ stitches and everythin’,” he replied.
“Jesus!” Tara exclaimed. “Do we need to—move her into one of the cells?” she asked, clearly alarmed.
“Nah,” Daryl replied quickly. “She was just disoriented, is all. She’ll be alrigh’. She tore her damn stitches though. Siddiq and Enid are workin’ on her now.”
Tara sighed and nodded.
“How’s it goin’ with the girl and Henry?”
She shrugged. “Okay. I think a lot of what she’s saying is bullshit but—maybe we’ll get there. She seems to be building rapport with him.”
Daryl nodded. “Yeah, well maybe if we can talk to this woman we can leave Henry out of it.”
“Maybe,” Tara agreed. “But I’m not sure, based on what you’ve said, that she’s any more likely to talk.”
“Guess we’ll find out.”
Daryl’s next task was to go find Alden and Luke. They’d expressed grave concern about you when they managed to get you back to Hilltop. Considering how you’d saved them, returning the favor felt like the least they could do. If you hadn’t shot those Whisperers out of nowhere and then appeared like a fucking ghost, they didn’t know what would be happening to them now. Miraculously, they’d happened on their horses wandering home along the old highway and had been able to lift you onto one, patched up against the bleeding as best they could. Still, by the time they’d reached the gates, there was a river of crimson running down the saddle and you were pale and chilled. No one was sure you’d survive.
The story of your fight with Alpha and the others wearing the horrifying skin masks had already been told many times and passed through Hilltop like wind through bare branches. There were whispers everywhere as Daryl walked toward the trailer the new group was staying in. He found Alden and Luke standing outside with the other newcomers, Yumiko, Kelly, Connie, and Magna. They looked eager as they saw him approaching.
“Wh—uhh… what happened to your face?” Luke blurted out.
Daryl waved a hand dismissively. “S’nothin’. She woke up,” he said. “But—she tore her stitches again and passed out so Enid and Siddiq were checkin’ her. I’m not sure how bad but—”
“Wait—she did that to your face?” Alden asked, his eyebrows lifting. He blinked, surprised. “I told ya she was a helluva fighter,” he said with a wry laugh. “Even after losing pints of blood, she got a hit in on Daryl Dixon. Not many can say that.”
“Why did she do that to your face?” Yumiko asked, concerned.
Daryl sighed. “She was just scared and disoriented. She’s on some heavy meds—it’s alrigh’,” he said for what felt like the hundredth time.
“But she’ll be okay?” Kelly asked. “I mean, she saved Alden and Luke. She has to be okay. Is Tara gonna let her stay here?”
Daryl gulped and shook his head. “S’too early for all of that. And honestly, I dun think she’ll want to stay.”
“Well, why not? If she’s as good as Luke has said she is, she’d be an asset here,” Magna said. “There are walls, resources.”
“Some people—” Daryl paused and chewed nervously on his bottom lip for a moment. “Some people just dun wanna be inside walls. Some people are better out there.” He felt their eyes on him and ducked his head. “Anyway, I thought ya’ll’d wanna know. ‘M gonna go back up and see how she is. They should have her patched up by now unless it’s real bad.”
When he got back to the clinic, Enid was at your bedside. She stood as his bootsteps approached and met his inquisitive gaze. “She only tore through the outside stitches,” she said. “We got her stitched up again.”
Daryl’s eyes landed on the fabric strips now tying her hands to the rails of the gurney. “Do ya think that’s necessary?” he drawled.
Enid smiled at him and let out a dry laugh. “She punched you in the face and ripped through about twenty stitches. Don’t you?”
Daryl bit the inside of his cheek thoughtfully for a moment. “S’just—ain’t gonna win us any points with her. If we want her to tell us what she knows, it ain’t a good start.”
Enid nodded. “I know. If she can be calm when she wakes up, once she gets her bearings, if she’s not a flight risk, we can untie them. But she could have seriously hurt herself again. She had a lot of internal bleeding and she’s already lost so much blood…”
“Alrigh’. Hey—I’ll stay. Go take care of Rosita and Eugene,” Daryl said, sighing. He took his seat again at your bedside and waited. He’d hardly been sitting for two minutes, when outside the window, he caught a glimpse of a dark shape zip by.
Daryl stood and paced around your bed, coming to stand at the window. At first, he didn’t see any sign of it, but another burst of movement caught his eye and he looked up to see a raven circling overhead. He watched its graceful movements as it swept downward, riding the wind. It hovered low over the next trailer and then spread its tail wide and dropped down to stand on the roof. Daryl had the distinct feeling that it was staring at him through the window. It stood for a moment, tilting its head this way and that as if trying to figure him out. Then it lifted its head and let out a series of hoarse calls, its wings spreading slightly with each burst. Afterwards, it seemed to settle in on the edge of the roof and Daryl knew, somehow, it was waiting for you.
He returned to the chair at your bedside and sank down again. The afternoon wore away and he passed the time sharpening his knives and working on his crossbow. Eventually, evening began to fall and exhaustion started to settle over him. His mind was churning over the Whisperers, over the girl now held in Hilltop’s cell, over Henry, over Jesus…
At some point, he fell asleep slouched in the chair. He woke to a soft rustling sometime after night had thickly fallen and he shot upright, fully awake immediately. He saw you blinking yourself awake by the light of the lantern he’d lit on the small table by the door. Your eyelids were heavy and again consciousness was slow to return.
He figured he’d better try to head off your panic, if that was even possible. He stood slowly, careful not to startle you. “Hey,” he said gently.
Your arm lifted from the bed as if you were trying to raise a hand to your face, but the movement was quickly stopped by the fabric tying your hand to the bed rail. He watched your face darken with understanding and your chest began to rise and fall faster.
“Yeah… ‘M sorry ‘bout that,” he drawled. “Ya tore some of yer stitches last time and the docs are worried ‘bout somethin’ worse happenin’.”
You merely stared up at him, your chest still heaving with each breath, eyes narrowed under your furrowed brow.
Daryl awkwardly scratched at a non-existent itch on the back of his head. The silence was thick, heavy. He marveled at how small you looked on the gurney, but recalled everything Alden and Luke had told him about your fight with this supposed leader of the Whisperers, or The Shepherds as you called them. You must have fought with no small amount of ferocity.
“Where the hell am I?” you asked. Your throat was dry and your voice came out raspy. You couldn’t believe how tired you felt. They probably had drugged you with something… if not to sedate you then just the painkillers you were sure were going straight into your bloodstream would explain it. For the moment you were grateful for them. Even through your current fog, your body still ached and your side... you didn’t know how to describe the feeling but it was unpleasant. You hadn’t forgotten the pain from the last time you’d awoken and tried to get out. The panic had overwhelmed you, but the pain had knocked you to your knees.
“A community of survivors. We call it Hilltop,” Daryl said. He was studying you, studying your face, each micro-expression, trying to get a read on you… but it felt impossible. Well—except he could tell you were largely pissed.
You sighed and your head dropped back onto the pillow. You were so tired. Just staying awake was a struggle. Your eyes closed again and you took a few breaths, trying to slow your heart rate and willing your lungs to slow down too.
“Look, if ya—”
“Daryl, isn’t it?” you interrupted him. He looked almost surprised that you remembered his name. “Am I a prisoner here?” you asked him, your eyes opening again and fixing on his. “I’d like to know how saving two of your people is a fucking crime.”
He gulped. “No. ‘Course ya ain’t,” he replied gently.
“Then why are my hands tied to the fucking bed?” He could hear the panic rising in your voice again and he shifted.
“Because of what happened last time… Ya ripped yer outside stitches open on your side. Ya had surgery. That knife? It nicked yer liver. Ya were bleedin’ out when Alden and Luke got ya back here. Hell, ya were half-dead. Ya could undo everythin’ the docs did if ya aren’t careful. If ya promise to stay calm and in the damn bed, I’ll untie ya righ’ now,” he said quickly.
You stared at him with distrust still. Daryl’s hand landed on the handle of his knife in its sheath. You flinched slightly as he unbuckled the loop and slid it out, looking down at it in his hands for a long moment. He chewed on the inside of his cheek for a long moment and gulped. “All we wanna do is help ya. Ya saved two of our own. Four if ya count me and Dog. And ya didn’t have to do that.” With one hand, he reached over and untied the binding on your wrist. Then, he held out the knife for you to grip the handle.
You accepted it in your now free hand, though you still peered at him with suspicion.
But Daryl seemed undeterred. He only nodded and moved around to the other side of the gurney and untied your other hand before returning to pull his chair a little closer to the bed and sit down.
You turned the knife over in your hands, not taking your eyes off him.
“Do ya need anything? Water?”
You gulped and stared down at the knife in your hands for a moment before shaking your head. “Where’s Achilles?” you asked suddenly.
Daryl’s head tilted slightly. “Achilles?”
“My raven.”
Daryl nodded. “More creative name than ‘Dog,’” he commented, nearly smiling at you. When you didn’t react, he simply cleared his throat and pointed to the window. “Last I saw, he was waitin’ righ’ out there, on the roof of the next building.”
You sighed and your head dropped back into your pillow again. You clutched the knife against your chest like it was a lifeline. Daryl watched as you purposely took in some slow, deep breaths.
“Ya alrigh’?” he asked softly.
“Is she dead?” you asked suddenly, your eyes meeting his again. Daryl gave you a questioning look. “Alpha. Is she dead? Did your people kill her after she—she kicked me in the fucking head?”
Daryl gulped and shook his head. “No. She—she managed to get away. They were more worried about you.”
Your eyes closed and you let out a heavy sigh. “I stabbed her in the fucking thigh. How did she get away?” You said it more to yourself than to Daryl. “If they could have killed her, they should have and left me to die.”
Daryl felt as if all the air in the room had suddenly been sucked out. His nerves seemed to sizzle with electricity. “Why would ya say that?” he asked softly, concernedly.
You turned away and wouldn’t say anymore. Daryl sat back in his chair and watched as your breathing slowed and deepened but your grip on his knife never loosened.

Jude Jazza's IF Prison Guard Story Set: "Immoral Interrogation"- Story One
MDNI. NSFW. This is part 1 of the story. Translations will include heavily cropped screenshots as mentioned here. Fan translation only. Not 100% accurate. Please expect grammatical errors. Cybird owns everything. Feel free to re-blog, but please do not post my translations elsewhere. Thank you, for you support! ☾.
CW: DC/NC (?) I don’t think it needs this, but some might feel triggered.
Okay, let’s go now while there’s no guards.)
(The exit is just up ahead—)
???: - Stop right there.
When a sharp voice called out from behind me, my shoulders flinched and my feet came to stop.
???: Raise yer hands ‘n c’mere. Any unnecessary movements ‘n I’ll shoot.
The commanding voice was indifferent, and it didn’t sound like a mere threat.
If an escaped prisoner such as myself were to resist, I’d be shot dead by the enemy.
(Because I can’t die now….I have no choice, but to obey.)
I raise my hands and look backward —
— His cold amethyst eyes stared straight at me.
I was arrested and thrown back into prison, where I was roughly rolled onto the cold floor.
As I lay on my back, the man casually placed his foot on my defenseless stomach.
Kate: [Gasp]……!
???: Prisoner number R5328...If I’m not mistaken, yer one of the intelligence agents from the neighborin’ country.
???: Ya were imprisoned after a failed attempt to steal secrets from this country…
Kate: Ha….you know me so well. Are you a fan?
When I responded sarcastically so as not to be overwhelmed by his spirit, he laughed mockingly at me from deep in his throat.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: I’m a guard of this prison. I’ve got all the prisoner’s information memorized.
Kate: But that doesn’t look like a guard’s uniform.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: I’m off duty today. Was ‘boutta rest up when I saw ya tryin’ to escape.
Kate:…..You’re so loose-lipped. Is that okay? Telling me that you’re off duty.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: Even if ya know that much, it ain’t no skin off my back.
I guess that’s not just big talk.
I’d heard before that the guards of this prison were superior, and that once you’ve been caught, you’d never escape again.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: Seems like no matter how much they tortured ya, ya wouldn’t say thing.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: What’s more, it takes a lotta guts to plan a prison break. I like a lively woman.
Kate: Walking all over the woman you like, the guards of this country have extremely great tastes.
As I collapsed in a wretched state, I glared at the guard, provoking him.
Even though my stomach was being stepped on, I didn’t want it to reach my heart, so I mustered my best bravado.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: Yeah, those defiant lookin’ eyes.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: Even though yer a prisoner with no power ‘n no freedom, ya still haven't given up, have ya?
The foot that had been stepping on my stomach moves away slowly.
I thought it was a chance to sit up, but when I tried to move, I put pressure on my legs, so I couldn’t move carelessly.
……That’s when the guard shoe came between my legs.
Kate: …..Ahh.
The tip of the shoe gently stimulates the space between my legs, making me let out an unexpected cry.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: Yer so cute it’s worth torturin’ ya.
(Such bad taste….!)
The guard finally removed his foot, as if he was satisfied that I’d raised my voice.
Giving up on escaping, I got up and sat on the prison bed.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: Maybe ya were plannin’ on meetin’ up with yer friends after escapin’…..but it pointless.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: Feel sorry for ya, but ain’t no one comin’ here to help ya.
Kate: On what basis….
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: I was readin’ somethin’ interestin’.
The guard handed me a newspaper that was printed in my country.
The shocking headline read, “BETRAYAL BY OUR COUNTRY’S OWN SPY.”
(This, is about me….?)
— Two months ago, it was reported that a a spy sent by our country had been taken prisoner by the enemy country.
However, newly discovered evidence shows the spy had been in contact with the enemy even prior to being captured.
Kate: I’m a traitor who’s been in contact with an enemy army?!
Kate: That’s BULLSHIT! I’d never do that!
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: …..That’s the reality.
(Huh….?)
Was it just my imagination that those muttered words sounded soft somehow.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: …..Well, ‘course they’re gonna make ya out to be a traitor.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: If they say they’re gonna abandon a spy who’s sworn their allegiance ‘n worked hard,
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: Not only does that sound bad, it’s affects morale.
Kate: ……
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: Betrayed by yer homeland, ya got no one on yer side.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: Even if ya escape ‘n go back, they’ll silence ya by killin’ ya.
I know the guards are taking this chance to crush my spirit, make me despair, and trying to win me over —
(Is there really no one who wants me to comeback alive….?)
— My heart sinks at the information before me.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: ….But, if ya spill all the information, I’ll be on yer side, sound good?
His words seep into the cracks of my crumbling heart like a sweet poison.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: Country doesn’t matter. …..I’ll be yer sole ally.
Kate: …..Seems like, you plan to seduce me with sweet words, and then extract information from me?
Kate: I’m saddened by my homeland’s decision, but I’m NOT going to give up information -…..mm!
Suddenly, the guard kisses me hard, cutting me off.
I tried shaking him off, but he pulled on the chains that cuffed my arms, and pushed me down on the bed.
Kate: N……ngh…..ah……
The more I struggle and resist, the stronger the kisses become.
My lips were bitten, my tongue sucked, my breath melted, and my thoughts become muddied and caved —
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: ….Ha, looks like it feels good.
Kate: How does this feel good…..Tss, Nngh…..
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: Denyin’ it even though yer makin’ sucha sweet voice?…..Bad woman.
The guard reached down to my breasts. While kissing me, his large hand cups and squeezes them.
Because the prison uniform was thin, I could clearly feel the guards' hands, and my body inevitably became hot.
Kate: Ah……Nnghaa……!
I tried to hold back, but I let out a moan due to the sweet ache.
Hearing this the guard parted his lips from me with a somewhat satisfied smile.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: …..Wasn’t it yer country that betrayed ya first? Then, it’s okay if ya betray ‘em too.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: If ya tell me everything, I’ll make ya feel even better?
The guard’s fingertips move down from my chest.
They trailed down my stomach, between my legs, and under my clothes.
Kate: ……haa.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: If ya want me here, then have a nice chat with me.
In this situation where I had no one to rely on, the guard's words sounded extremely appealing.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: Force size, strategic objectives, chain of command, codes….
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: …..Share all the information ya know.
The combination of pleasure and fatigue begin to dull my thinking.
But before my mind was completely overtaken, I came to my senses.
Kate: I won’t tell you anything….!
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: …..Why’re ya so stubborn? I can’t understand it.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: Is there anything in yer homeland that ya would go to such lengths to protect?
As he spoke, the guard’s fingers came in and penetrated my muddy spot.
Kate: Ahh…….
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: I don’t dislike it. Ya can tell me all by yerself how good it feels when I touch ya.
The guard’s fingertips crushes my secret bud, and stimulates my shallow spots.
My body writhes in inescapable pleasure.
Kate: Let go……Mmm….Tss
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: I’ll stop if ya spill.
Still, I can’t give up information about my country just because of a lewd interrogation.
Kate: Ah…..I….made a, promise….
Amethyst-Eyed Guard:….A promise?
The finger movements that tormented me, came to a sudden stop.
Kate: When I was a child….there was a boy from a neighboring country that I was friends with.
Kate: I hope to meet that boy again someday…..
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: …..
Kate: Shortly after the promise was made, the two countries went to war….
Kate: But if the war can be brought to an amicable end, diplomatic relations may be restored…..!
….At present, the country where I live is somewhat on the losing side of the war.
To return the situation to an equilibrium and conclude peace, we spies had no choice but to gather information from neighboring countries.
Kate: That's why I can’t share the information, so that way I can reunite with that boy, Jazza, someday…..[1]
After being tortured and interrogated by the guards, what I ended up spilling was not information about the state, but a promise I made as a child.
It was the number one reason why I became a secret agent... and I guess I just blurted it out.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: ….Forget about that promise ‘n take it easy.
Those words were supposed to encourage me to confess, but for some reason, the guard's expression contorted as if he was enduring pain.
For a moment, the color of his eyes, which seemed to be tinged with bitterness, seemed to overlap with the color of the boy with whom I had made the promise.
(…..But, I’m sure it’s just a mistaken resemblance.)
Kate: I won't listen to a man from an enemy country whose name I don't even know.
Kate: I won’t divulge any information, and I will fulfill my promise someday.
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: ……
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: If ya can’t forget or break yer promises….
Amethyst-Eyed Guard: Inside the adult cage, you’ll be teased, tormented, ‘n loved by me.
The amethyst eyes lit up with a sadistic color, and my body shivered. Was it fear —
Ftn [1] Kate actually calls him Jazza-kun here. AWWWW!!!!
Jude: Tell me everything I wanna know, and I'll make ya feel even better. Kate: No. Jude: *Proceeds to finger her anyway* (I think you missed the point babe.)
Just you all wait for part 2 .........because dayyumm.

𝓒HAPTER 𝓣WO !
taglist form series masterlist :3 pairing : logan howlett x fem!reader warnings : injury, angst, slight comfort, a little suicidal ideation, crying wc : 5.5k
the mansion felt suffocating in a way you hadn’t expected. it wasn’t the grand halls or the constant buzz of voices echoing down the corridors; it was the people. every glance felt like it carried judgment, every conversation like it teetered on the edge of a question no one dared to ask.
you kept to yourself, mostly. the x-men had insisted you stay while they “figured things out,” whatever that meant. beast had given you a full medical check, jean had tried - awkwardly, and with no real success - to offer comfort, and storm had left a spare set of clothes outside your door.
but no one really knew what to do with you.
you didn’t blame them.
you hadn’t said much since you arrived, unsure of how to fit into this place that was as foreign to you as any other home you’d ever known. the scars on your arms, your face, told part of the story, but not all of it. when the others looked at you, you could feel their pity - or worse, their suspicion.
and logan?
logan didn’t bother hiding how he felt.
it wasn’t subtle, the way he’d bristle every time you entered a room. he avoided looking at you directly, but his presence was impossible to ignore. sharp comments thrown in your direction, muttered accusations under his breath - it all served as a constant reminder that, to him, you didn’t belong here.
you found yourself shrinking further under the weight of it.
one morning, after yet another restless night, you slipped into the kitchen in search of some peace. the early light was gentle, filtering through the tall windows and casting soft shadows across the floor. no one else was awake, and for once, the silence felt like a reprieve instead of a punishment.
you brewed a cup of tea, the warmth of it grounding in your hands. the scent of chamomile curled around you like a quiet embrace, and for a fleeting moment, the mansion didn’t feel so unbearable.
“you’re up early.”
his voice cut through the quiet like a blade.
you flinched, the mug nearly slipping from your grasp.
logan stood in the doorway, leaning against the frame with a look that bordered on indifference. but his eyes - those sharp, piercing eyes - bore into you like he was searching for cracks in your armor.
“couldn’t sleep,” you said softly, setting the mug down before your trembling hands gave you away.
he grunted in response, moving to the counter to pour himself a cup of black coffee.
you stayed silent, hoping he’d leave. but he didn’t. instead, he settled into the chair across from you, his gaze unwavering.
“so,” he said, finally breaking the tension. “what’s your plan?”
you blinked. “my... plan?”
“yeah.” he leaned back, the chair creaking under his weight. “you can’t just sit around here forever.”
the words stung, but you swallowed down your initial response.
“i didn’t ask to be here,” you said quietly.
“no, but you’re here now,” he shot back. “and the way i see it, you’ve got two options. either you prove you’re not a liability, or you get outta here before someone gets hurt.”
you stared at him, the weight of his words sinking deep into your chest.
“i’m not a liability,” you said, though your voice wavered.
he raised an eyebrow. “you sure about that? because from where i’m standing, you look like someone who’s got a lotta baggage and no clue how to carry it.”
the tears pricked at your eyes before you could stop them.
you hated how easily his words got to you, how quickly they peeled back the thin veneer of composure you’d managed to build.
logan seemed to notice, his expression shifting ever so slightly. for a moment, it looked like he might say something else - something less cruel - but he didn’t. instead, he stood, his chair scraping against the floor as he pushed it back.
“get your head on straight, kid,” he muttered before leaving the room.
you sat there for a long time after he was gone, your tea long gone cold.
later that day, storm approached you with a tentative smile.
“we’re heading out on a mission,” she said. “you don’t have to come, but... it might be good for you to see what we do.”
you hesitated, her kindness both unexpected and overwhelming.
“i don’t know if - ”
“you’ll be safe,” she assured you. “we won’t ask you to fight. just observe.”
reluctantly, you agreed.
the mission itself was straightforward - or so they said. a group of mutants had been spotted in a nearby city, causing trouble and drawing unwanted attention. the x-men’s goal was to diffuse the situation before it escalated further.
you stayed at the back of the group as they moved through the streets, keeping your head down and your steps quiet. the chaos of the city was disorienting, the noise and movement stirring something uneasy in your chest.
logan was at the front, his presence commanding despite his gruff demeanor. he barked orders with authority, his tone leaving no room for argument.
at one point, he glanced back at you, his expression unreadable.
“stay close,” he said gruffly, and though his words were more of a command than an offer, you nodded.
things took a turn when a group of armed humans appeared, their weapons aimed directly at the team.
“stand down,” storm said, her voice calm but firm. “we’re not here to fight.”
the humans didn’t listen.
before you knew it, chaos erupted. energy blasts and gunfire filled the air, the noise almost unbearable. your instincts kicked in, and you ducked behind a parked car, your breath coming in sharp, shallow gasps.
you wanted to help, to prove logan wrong, but the fear was paralyzing.
“move!”
logan’s voice snapped you out of your daze.
he was suddenly there, pulling you to your feet and shoving you behind him as a stray blast of energy zipped past.
“what the hell are you doing?” he growled, his grip on your arm tight. “this ain’t the time to freeze up.”
“i didn’t - ”
“save it,” he snapped, pushing you toward the others. “just stay outta the way.”
the mission ended in success, though not without casualties.
back at the mansion, the tension between you and logan was palpable.
you avoided him as much as possible, but it was clear he wasn’t about to make that easy. every interaction was another reminder of how much he didn’t trust you, how much he saw you as a burden.
and yet, there were moments - fleeting and rare - where his actions spoke differently. like when he shielded you from that attack. or when he offered you a water bottle after the mission, wordlessly setting it on the table beside you.
those moments confused you, leaving you wondering if there was more to logan than the sharp edges he showed the world.
but whatever softness he had, he hid it well.
for now, all you could do was try to prove him wrong.
the next mission came faster than you were ready for.
beast barely finished briefing the team before they were loading up in the jet, and you found yourself swept along in the rush. storm had been the one to ask you directly this time, her voice calm and steady as she explained how they’d need extra hands for this one.
you hesitated, heart pounding.
“we can’t force you,” she said, her gaze kind but firm. “but this would be a good chance to show the team what you’re capable of.”
logan’s snort from across the room was loud enough to make your jaw tighten, but you agreed anyway.
the mission was supposed to be straightforward: retrieve a mutant child held in a government facility and extract them without drawing attention.
but nothing about it had gone as planned.
the alarms went off before the team even made it past the first set of doors, and chaos erupted almost immediately. armed guards swarmed the halls, their shouts blending with the blaring sirens.
you stuck close to storm, your palms sweaty and heart racing as she deflected an incoming shot with a controlled gust of wind.
“keep moving!” she shouted over the noise, gesturing for the team to split into groups. “we don’t have much time!”
logan was at the front, carving a path through the guards with brutal efficiency. his claws glinted under the harsh fluorescent lights, and his movements were precise, calculated.
you found yourself paired with him - whether by coincidence or some cruel twist of fate, you didn’t know.
“stay close,” he barked, his voice gruff as he shoved a guard out of the way.
you didn’t argue.
by the time you reached the secure wing, your legs felt like lead, and every breath burned in your chest. logan stopped abruptly, motioning for you to stay behind him as he scanned the hallway ahead.
“think you can handle a few more guards?” he muttered without looking back.
“i’ll manage,” you replied, your voice steadier than you felt.
he grunted, clearly unimpressed.
the next few minutes were a blur of movement and noise. logan fought like a man possessed, his claws tearing through the guards with ease, while you held your ground, deflecting attacks and doing your best to keep up.
at one point, a guard came at you with a stun baton, and you froze, the memories of your time in the facility flooding back in an instant.
logan’s growl snapped you out of it.
“focus!” he barked, slamming the guard into the wall before turning to glare at you. “you wanna get yourself killed?”
“i’m fine,” you muttered, though your hands were still trembling.
“doesn’t look like it,” he said, his tone sharp as he grabbed your arm and pulled you along. “stay outta your head, or we’re both screwed.”
the child was young - no older than eight - and their fear was palpable as you approached the room where they were being held. logan motioned for you to stay back as he stepped forward, his voice surprisingly soft as he crouched down to the child’s level.
“we’re here to help,” he said, his tone gentler than you’d ever heard it.
the child hesitated, their wide eyes darting between you and logan before they finally stepped forward, clutching his hand tightly.
“let’s get outta here,” he said, looking back at you.
the escape was even messier than the entry. the guards seemed to come out of nowhere, and the added responsibility of protecting the child made every step feel heavier.
you and logan ended up separated from the rest of the team, forced into a narrow corridor with no clear way out.
“damn it,” logan muttered under his breath, his claws retracting as he scanned the area.
“what now?” you asked, trying to keep your voice steady.
“we wait,” he said. “storm’ll find us.”
you leaned against the wall, your chest heaving as you tried to catch your breath. the child clung to logan’s leg, their small frame trembling.
logan crouched down again, his expression softening as he spoke to the child. “you’re gonna be okay, kid. just stick close to me.”
you watched him, something in your chest tightening at the sight.
“you’re good with kids,” you said quietly.
he glanced up at you, his expression unreadable.
the silence stretched between you after that, broken only by the distant sound of footsteps and muffled voices.
“so,” logan said eventually, his tone grudging. “what’s your story?”
you hesitated, caught off guard by the question. “what do you mean?”
“how’d you end up at that facility?” he asked, leaning back against the wall.
you stared at him, unsure how to answer. the memories were still raw, the wounds too fresh. but something about the way he looked at you - curious, but not judgmental - made you speak.
“my parents,” you said finally. “they... they thought they were doing the right thing. they didn’t know what it was really like.”
logan’s jaw tightened, and he looked away.
“figures,” he muttered, his voice low. “people always think they’re doin’ the right thing, even when they’re screwin’ everything up.”
you nodded, your throat tightening.
“what about you?” you asked, the words slipping out before you could stop them.
he shot you a look, his eyes narrowing slightly.
“not much to tell,” he said after a moment.
you didn’t push, sensing that whatever he wasn’t saying was something he wasn’t ready to share.
the quiet stretched on again, but this time it felt less heavy.
“you did good back there,” logan said suddenly, his voice gruff.
you blinked, surprised. “what?”
“you heard me,” he said, not meeting your eyes. “don’t make me say it twice.”
a small smile tugged at the corner of your lips, despite everything.
“thanks,” you said softly.
he grunted in response, but there was a hint of something almost... warm in his expression.
for a moment, the hostility between you seemed to fade, replaced by something fragile and unspoken.
but just as quickly as it appeared, it was gone.
“don’t get used to it,” he said, his tone sharp again as he pushed off the wall. “we’re still not outta this mess.”
“wouldn’t dream of it,” you shot back, though there was no real bite in your words.
he smirked faintly, and for the first time, you wondered if maybe - just maybe - there was more to logan than the sharp edges he showed the world.
but then the footsteps grew louder, and the moment was gone.
“stay close,” he said, his voice all business again as he readied his claws.
you nodded, your heart still pounding as you followed him into the fray.
whatever came next, you knew you’d face it together - even if neither of you would admit it out loud.
for now, that was enough.
the jet ride back to the mansion was heavy with the kind of silence that followed a mission gone sideways. the kid had been handed off safely to storm, and most of the team was scattered across the cabin, nursing their injuries or just trying to decompress.
you sat near the back, your shoulder throbbing where a guard’s blade had sliced through your jacket. the makeshift bandage you’d slapped over it wasn’t holding up well, and blood had started seeping through the fabric.
logan sat across from you, his arms crossed and his expression unreadable.
“you gonna do somethin’ about that, or just sit there and bleed out?” his voice cut through the quiet like a knife.
you shot him a glare. “it’s fine.”
“doesn’t look fine,” he said, his eyes narrowing as he leaned forward. “don’t be stupid.”
“i’ll deal with it when we get back,” you muttered, shifting in your seat.
logan growled under his breath, muttering something about “damn stubborn kids” before grabbing the med kit from under his seat.
“what are you doing?” you asked, frowning as he opened it.
“fixin’ your mess,” he grunted. “hold still.”
“i said it’s fine - ”
“yeah and i said, hold still.”
his tone left no room for argument, and you reluctantly obeyed, letting him kneel in front of you. his movements were rough but efficient as he cut away the bloodied fabric of your sleeve, revealing the gash underneath.
“you let this go much longer, you’d be dealin’ with an infection,” he muttered, cleaning the wound with a practiced hand.
“thanks for the lecture, dr. logan,” you said, your voice dripping with sarcasm.
he didn’t rise to the bait, his focus on your arm as he worked.
despite the sting of the antiseptic and the sharpness of his tone, there was a gentleness to his touch that surprised you.
“doesn’t look too deep, it’ll be healed in an hour.” he said after a moment, his voice quieter now. “you’ll live.”
“glad to hear it,” you said dryly.
he glanced up at you, his expression softer than you’d expected.
back at the mansion, you tried to slip away to your room, but logan wasn’t having it.
“you’re not done,” he said, catching your arm as you passed by him.
“i can take care of myself,” you said, pulling away.
“yeah, i’ve seen how well that works out,” he shot back, his grip firm but not unkind. “sit down.”
you sighed, too tired to argue, and sank into one of the chairs in the med bay.
logan grabbed a fresh roll of bandages and knelt in front of you again.
“you don’t have to - ”
“i know i don’t,” he interrupted, his voice gruff. “now shut up and let me finish.”
his hands were steady as he wrapped the bandage around your arm, his expression focused.
“you ever think about takin’ it easy for once?” he asked after a moment.
“funny, coming from you,” you shot back.
he smirked faintly, though it didn’t quite reach his eyes.
“you got a death wish or somethin’?” he asked, his tone softer now.
“no,” you said, your voice quieter. “i just... don’t know how to stop.”
he looked at you then, something unreadable in his gaze.
“yeah,” he said after a long pause. “i know the feeling.”
a few days later, the team was called into another mission - a retrieval gone wrong that left half the squad scattered and fighting for survival in the middle of a dense forest.
you ended up paired with logan again, much to your dismay.
“just my luck,” you muttered as the two of you trekked through the underbrush, the sound of distant gunfire echoing around you.
“trust me, sweetheart, this ain’t a picnic for me either,” he shot back, his tone laced with irritation.
“stop calling me that,” you snapped, your cheeks flushing.
“whatever you say, sweetheart,” he said, a smirk tugging at his lips.
you glared at him but didn’t have the energy to argue.
the attack came out of nowhere.
one moment, the two of you were walking in tense silence; the next, a group of armed men was surrounding you, their weapons raised.
logan reacted instantly, his claws unsheathing with a metallic snikt as he stepped in front of you.
“stay behind me,” he growled, his tone leaving no room for argument.
“i can handle myself,” you said, but he didn’t budge.
“i said, stay behind me.”
the fight was brutal and chaotic, but logan was a force of nature, cutting through the attackers with a ferocity that left you both awed and slightly terrified.
you did your part, taking down a few of the men with well-aimed strikes, but it was clear that logan was doing most of the heavy lifting.
when the last of the attackers fell, you leaned against a tree, your breath coming in short gasps.
logan turned to you, his eyes scanning your form for injuries.
“you good?” he asked, his tone rough but concerned.
“yeah,” you said, though your voice wavered.
he frowned, stepping closer.
“you’re bleeding,” he said, his gaze dropping to the gash on your side.
“it’s nothing,” you said quickly, trying to brush him off.
“like hell it is,” he muttered, kneeling down to get a better look.
“logan, i’m fine - ”
“stop,” he said, his voice soft but firm. “just... stop.”
you froze, the unexpected gentleness in his tone catching you off guard.
he pulled a rag from his pocket and pressed it against the wound, his movements surprisingly tender.
“you gotta stop doin’ this to yourself,” he said quietly, his eyes meeting yours.
“doing what?” you asked, your voice barely above a whisper.
“pushin’ yourself like this,” he said, his brows furrowing. “you’re gonna get yourself killed.”
you looked away, your throat tightening. “maybe that wouldn’t be so bad.”
his hand stilled, and for a moment, the air between you was heavy with unspoken words.
“don’t,” he said finally, his voice low and rough. “don’t talk like that.”
“why not?” you asked, your voice breaking. “it’s not like anyone would care.”
“i would,” he said, the words slipping out before he could stop them.
you stared at him, your eyes wide.
“what?” you asked, your voice barely audible.
he looked away, his jaw tightening. “you heard me.”
“logan - ”
“don’t make me say it again,” he muttered, his voice gruff as he pressed the rag against your wound a little harder.
you winced, but you couldn’t tear your gaze away from him.
“why do you care?” you asked, your voice trembling.
he didn’t answer right away, his focus on your wound as he tied the makeshift bandage in place.
“beats me,” he said finally, his tone lighter but still guarded. “guess i’m just a sucker for a lost cause.”
you opened your mouth to respond, but the sound of distant voices interrupted you.
logan stood up, his claws unsheathing as he scanned the area.
“stay close,” he said, his tone all business again.
you nodded, your heart still racing as you followed him into the trees.
whatever this thing was between you - this fragile, unspoken connection - it would have to wait. for now, survival was all that mattered.
but as you walked, you couldn’t help but replay his words in your mind, the weight of them settling in your chest.
logan cared.
the mansion felt like a suffocating silence had settled in the air after the mission. the kind of silence that followed a hard-fought battle, where the tension lingered, unspoken.
you walked through the hallways, trying to avoid anyone's gaze, especially logan’s. the bruise on your side throbbed, reminding you of the fight you'd both survived together, and in some strange way, you’d felt like maybe - just maybe - there was a slight crack in his tough exterior.
but the cracks could heal just as fast as they formed, and today, you could feel the walls between you two thickening again.
you didn’t know why you’d thought anything would change.
when you found yourself in the kitchen, trying to grab something for dinner, it was only a matter of time before logan walked in.
“still alive, huh?” he grunted, leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed, eyes cold and calculating as they swept over you.
“yeah, just barely,” you muttered, turning away from him to grab a plate.
“not much of a team player, are you?” his voice cut through the quiet, sharper than you expected.
you froze.
“what?” you said, a bitter edge creeping into your voice.
he stepped further into the room, the air between you charged with something darker now. “you don’t even try to be a part of this team. you just... do your own thing. throw yourself in harm’s way because it’s easier than actually being here with us, huh?”
“you’ve got no clue what you’re talking about,” you said, setting the plate down a little too forcefully.
“i’ve been watching, sweetheart. you don’t belong here,” he spat. “never have. and the sooner you realize that, the better.”
the words hit like a punch to the gut.
your heart dropped, and you stepped back as if his words had physically knocked you off balance. “what is your problem? ’m doing the best i can. i’m here because i want to be. not because you want me to be.”
“yeah? you sure about that?” he scoffed. “cause it looks like you’re just here to run off and get yourself killed. don’t pretend like you’re doing this for anyone other than yourself.”
your chest tightened, a mix of frustration and hurt flooding your veins. “you don’t get to talk to me like that.”
he raised an eyebrow, his expression unreadable, though his voice had a venomous edge. “what, you don’t like it when someone calls you out? maybe you can’t handle it, huh? always the tough girl, always pretending like you’re fine, but the truth is, you’re a liability.”
“a liability?” you echoed, your voice trembling with barely contained anger. “you think i’m a liability? after what i’ve done for this team?”
“you haven’t done anything,” he snapped. “you’re just another person waiting to screw it all up, waiting for an excuse to bail. this whole thing’s just a joke to you.”
the words stung more than you wanted to admit. you’d never cared what anyone thought about your abilities or your place here, but hearing it from him - someone who barely acknowledged your existence outside of missions - hurt more than anything else ever could.
“you have no idea what i’ve been through,” you said through gritted teeth. “you don’t get to judge me. none of you do.”
“oh, i’m sorry,” logan said with sarcasm, stepping closer. “did i hurt your feelings? maybe if you weren’t so focused on your own problems, you’d realize that you’re not the only one dealing with stuff. but you don’t care about that. you never do.”
his words were like acid, slowly eating away at the fragile thread of trust that had begun to form between the two of you. the words burned your chest, each one sinking deeper, until the room felt smaller, suffocating.
you stood there, your fists clenched at your sides, trying not to explode. but the anger bubbling inside you felt like it would swallow you whole.
“maybe i don’t,” you said quietly, finally meeting his gaze. “maybe i don’t care about any of this.”
logan’s jaw tightened, but he didn’t say anything.
“i’m not asking for your approval,” you continued, each word a quiet defiance. “i don’t need you to tell me i’m good enough to be here. i’m here because i made a choice. i’m here because i want to be.”
his face twisted in irritation, but there was something else there, something that made him hesitate for a split second.
“yeah, well, you’re gonna have to do a hell of a lot more than just want it if you want to make it here,” he muttered, his voice low, almost a growl.
you swallowed hard, trying to fight the tears that were threatening to surface. but there was a sharpness in his words, a cruelty that cut deeper than anything you’d expected.
“i’m done,” you said, your voice barely above a whisper, shaking with the force of your emotions.
you turned away from him and walked out of the room without looking back.
you could feel his gaze on your back, but you didn’t care.
the words lingered in your mind like a bad taste, each one echoing in your head as you made your way to your room.
you don’t belong here. you’re a liability. you’re just another person waiting to screw it all up.
you wanted to scream. wanted to throw something. but you just couldn’t. the pain of hearing it from him felt like it was suffocating you.
you slammed the door to your room behind you and collapsed onto the bed, pulling the covers over your head.
it wasn’t just the words. it was the finality of it. like everything you’d been fighting for, everything you’d believed about your place here, had just been ripped away.
you’d never been good enough in anyone’s eyes.
and you were starting to wonder if you ever would be.
logan stood in the hallway, his fist clenched at his side, his breathing shallow. he knew he shouldn’t have said it. he shouldn’t have pushed you that hard, but something in him had snapped.
he didn’t know why it bothered him so much. why it hurt to see you like this.
but as he walked away, he couldn’t shake the thought that maybe, just maybe, he’d made a mistake.
the silence in the mansion was deafening as you sat on the edge of your bed, your body stiff and unmoving. the world outside the door felt distant, like it was happening to someone else. maybe it wasn’t so different from what had always been true: you didn’t belong.
logan’s words clung to you, sharp and unforgiving, replaying in your mind with every breath you took. the weight of it pressed against your chest, making it hard to breathe, to think. you had thought you could be strong, that you could take on the world without it breaking you, but right now, it felt like everything was crashing down.
you didn’t want to cry. you didn’t want to feel weak. but the tears came anyway, spilling down your cheeks, uncontrollable and raw.
you didn’t bother wiping them away. there was no point anymore.
you heard the faint sound of footsteps outside your door, and a small part of you hoped it would just be a passing moment. that maybe logan would ignore it. maybe the world would just keep moving and pretend nothing had happened.
but the door creaked open slowly, and there he was.
logan.
he didn’t say anything at first, just stood there in the doorway, his expression unreadable. you kept your eyes fixed on the floor, unwilling to face him.
you heard him sigh, the soft sound cutting through the tension in the air.
then, without another word, he stepped inside. he didn’t sit across from you, didn’t stand there like some distant figure. he just moved closer and sat down next to you, his presence steady and unrelenting.
neither of you spoke. the silence wasn’t awkward, but it was thick with everything unsaid. you could feel the heat radiating off him, his warmth somehow grounding in the chaos of your thoughts.
you didn’t want him here. not after what he’d said. but a part of you felt like you couldn’t push him away, not entirely.
logan didn’t reach for you. he didn’t try to comfort you with words that would only feel empty right now. he simply sat there, quiet.
his silence was the loudest thing in the room.
after what felt like an eternity, you wiped your face, your fingers shaking as you did so. logan’s eyes flicked to your hands, the movement subtle but enough for you to notice.
still, he didn’t speak. didn’t ask if you were okay. didn’t say the things you thought he should say.
but somehow, his presence seemed to fill the space in a way that was just enough.
“you think i’m a liability,” you muttered, your voice small, barely more than a whisper.
logan’s jaw tightened, but he didn’t look at you. “you’re not,” he said quietly, though his voice lacked conviction.
you shook your head. “then why… why did you say it?”
“i didn’t mean it.” his tone was gruff, almost irritated, but there was something in his voice - something soft - that you hadn’t expected.
you didn’t look at him, didn’t want to. but you could feel him there, beside you, the space between you shrinking despite the words still hanging in the air.
you were tempted to ask him why he said it. tempted to demand answers, to get some kind of explanation that made sense. but you didn’t. because you knew it wouldn’t fix anything. nothing would.
instead, you let the silence stretch on, letting it wrap around you like a blanket.
for the first time in what felt like forever, you didn’t have to speak to feel understood.
the only sound now was the steady rhythm of your breath, the rise and fall of your chest as you tried to calm the storm inside you.
logans’ presence was a quiet comfort, even if he didn’t know how to express it. maybe he wasn’t the type to offer words of reassurance or emotional support, but right now, it didn’t matter.
he didn’t ask for anything in return. he didn’t demand that you forgive him or pretend that things were fine. he just sat there.
and that was enough.
the weight of the situation didn’t disappear. you still couldn’t shake the feeling that you didn’t belong. that maybe you never would.
but for the first time in a long while, you allowed yourself to breathe, to let go of the pressure that had been building up in your chest.
logan didn’t make you feel better. but he didn’t make it worse either.
maybe that was enough for now.
you sat in silence for what felt like hours. it was peaceful in a way, even with the uncertainty still hanging heavy between you.
when you finally looked up at him, he wasn’t looking at you anymore. his eyes were distant, his gaze fixed somewhere else, but you knew he was still aware of you, still there in the same quiet way he always was.
“you’re not a liability,” he said again, almost like he was convincing himself.
you didn’t respond, didn’t know how to. you didn’t need to.
maybe you weren’t the only one who felt like they were carrying the weight of the world.
logan didn’t leave when the silence stretched on. didn’t get up and walk away like he had so many times before. instead, he stayed beside you.
you didn’t know what it meant, but it was something.
something small, something fragile.
but it was something.
and that was enough to get through the night.
