#bruharvey#harvey dent#gotham knights#i swear i forgot he was bruce's bestie in canon bc he hadn't mentioned him All Season#and i figured that was bc they didn't want to dwell on bruce/batman when he was dead and#lotsof other stuff needed screentime - but not even a passing mention? a single line? i figured they#wanted to avoid bruharvey distractions (and wouldn't it be something if there were more lines that ended up#on the cuting room floor? especially with jensen so close to playing bruce in a flashback it seems)#anyway when harvey said this to the mayor dude i legit thought he was talking about cressida and got confused#cos they were'nt besties more like associatesor acquaintances or whatever. and that's a downside#of the plot for me - that they only focused on turner's grief/confusion/anger and didn't even let harvey mention his bff#bc it would've helped further humanize him - let him grieve but also be more driven to find bruce's killer#but instead the plot focused on the fugue!harvey mystery which makes sense. if it were The Harvey Show#we surely would've seen harvey grieve but in GK they had to give time to the other characters. still i lament#thoughts

and another thing. skyrim just isn't good at making characters i want to care about. the venn diagram between "character that is actually relevant to an important quest" and "character i will still remember and think about once i beat this game" is two circles that never touch each other. but hell, maybe the dragonborn just lives a really empty and isolating life. yeah yeah lets go with that.

have discovered that while my thumbs are fleet as the wind it is occasionally faster for me to type like declan. worrisome
#this is because my screen is fucked and thumb typing is so fast it scrambles the receptors and leads to lotsof typos#whereas declan typing is almost the same speed but just slightly slower enough that it doesn't autocorrect to insane things anymore
