i think I have an idea of what I want to do with the is whole au plot and its definitely starting at the point with the battle against groudon and kyogre except it goes alot worse for ruby and sapphire obviously. but wally (and norman but not really) find emerald who ends up being the main one who finds a way to release ruby and sapphire from the legendary orb grasp

(and helps in their recovery as well because i said so)

oh and norman is like 10 times more unlikable (he's not very likeable to begin with tbh)

instead of just the trails at the pillar, they are stopped by the quote on quote "ghost of the sky pillar" aka emerald scaring people (mostly norman) away because its not a place for humans and they equally do not like humans

emerald kind of takes a different route in this au because I mean influences (zinnia cough cough) so instead of claiming not liking pokemon they are more of a recluse thats abandoned society and lives solely with pokemon (like latias and latios) and has to be convinced by wally to help

this is a very normal way for him to act the whole yellow eyes and eerie aura is very normal

hawkeye and trapper get fake septums

Frank howls, "That's disgusting!" Turning to Trapper he shouts, "Did you have anything to do with this, McIntyre?" Trapper pulls down the newspaper to reveal that he's wearing three septum rings and says, "I sure did! He stole my look!"

On page 3, Frank says "You're both terrible. Both of your butts are going on report!" while Hawkeye takes out his apparently fake septum ring behind his back. "Report for what, Frank?" he asks; Frank turns to see that the piercing is now missing. "Yeah, what's the matter, Frank?" Trapper says, whose piercing is suddenly missing as well. Frank storms off, yelling "Neither of you can pull the wool over my eyes!! Just wait until General Barker hears about this!" Some time later, Frank is standing next to General Barker, pointing at Hawk. "General, I'm telling you, the hole is THERE!" he shouts. "Go and take a look in those nostrils for yourself!" There is a long and awkward pause. The General did not like that. Hawkeye remarks, "Gee Frank, take a girl to dinner first." end id]

Thinking about the fact that Mabel and Dipper didn't know they had two great uncles.

Yeah they are 12 and at 12 I had a shotty understanding of my family tree- But really? Nobody brought up their great uncle? Stanley? Especially since they'll be staying with his twin brother, Stanford?

Shermie never went to Stan's fake funeral, which to me means the twos relationship was strained on some level. If Shermie is older that means his view of Stan was poisoned in some way, that even as kids they weren't close. If the Shermie is younger then he never even got to meet Stan and all he knew about him was how he failed his family. Hell, people probably barely mentioned Stanley TO Shermie.

The fact that Stan had become a black stain upon the Pines family name makes me so vividly upset. Stanley faked his death and the family just- seemingly decided to strike him from the record. To pretend he didn't existed to spare themselves the sadness and shame.

Stanford and Shermie Pines. The only children worth mentioning of Filbrick and Caryn Pines.

It was never Stanford that was lost to the world. It was Stanley, ever since he had to leave New Jersy- it was always him that had to be struck from the record. Change his name, change his state, change his affiliations, destroy the remains of ghost that was Stanley Pines. Kill him so the family doesn't bring him up, doesn't ask questions, stops asking "Stanford" about his twin.

I just keep thinking about the fact that since the day he made one single mistake all the way up until Ford walks out of that machine- Stanley Pines was killed and did not exist. And Stan himself had no one to blame, he had to play the part in his own demise- He is the only one who ever knew Stanley was alive and has been for decades.

He lives in the multitudes of every personality he's ever taken, all in the hope that he himself can stop being Stanley Pines.

did a better ref of ruby and sapphires lost special au designs. so like instead of archie and maxie getting possessed it's flipped and these two get the legendary supernatural orb possession. personally i love that bit of lore they included in the manga and i wanted to go with something that included that so somehow Groudon and Kyogre are still awake but immobilized by the gym league + steven and Wallace, but are still able to take control of ruby and sapphire through the orbs and basically set out to find a way to you know not be immobilized anymore so they can brawl it out or whatever

which is where i figure emeralds arc comes in with jirachi

i did post it once before but its going here to I don't care 🗣️🗣️

but basically the two legendaries set out in ruby and sapphires body to find jirachi. meanwhile emerald, who was raised by Zinnia in this au

(this was @digitalsnail 's idea!! they have really wonderful art of their own au i suggest looking love their art 🙏)

but also comes in search of jirachi for their own reasons and ends up meeting not only crystal, gold and oak who are there to investigate but also surprise 🎉🎉 ruby and sapphire who are also trying to capture jirachi

then its just a brawl out to see who can get the wish but i gotta stay true to rald's character, eventually they are the one who ends up protecting jirachi from the two

and that is as far as I've thought out thus far for this plotline 🤙 later
