With Law - either reading together or to each other, fumbling through cooking together, mostly just kind of existing in each others' orbit quietly.

With Zoro, it was sort of accidental--it's all very idiots-in-love over here, and someone more or less had to set us up on a date-like activity ("hey, why don't you guys go out for a walk to uhhhh, find wood for repairs? and here, take this picnic basket!") before we actually made any moves. So we got lost in the woods despite my best efforts, and had a cute little picnic and made a lot of awkward eye and hand contact and called it a date.

Annette’s go-to outfit would definitely be oversized, brightly coloured jumpers or cardigans, a pair of denim jeans or dungarees, completed with some brightly coloured Doc Martens.

Annette is quite a good artist. She really likes to draw cutesy cartoon sketches of people and animals. Whether she’s been somewhere, she always leaves a quick doodle of an elephant on either a napkin or a page from a notebook.

🎡 FERRIS WHEEL - are they someone who wants to kiss at the top of the ferris wheel?

Not really, unless she was dared to. While she really likes thrilling fairground rides (she especially loves rollercoasters!!), she’s not the biggest fan of heights, so a kiss at the top of a ferris wheel wouldn’t be her idea of something that’s romantic..

⏳ HOURGLASS - are they usually late or on-time?

She tries her very best to be on-time, but she’s always the one to arrive late at events.

🔫 PISTOL - do they trust people easily? how easily will they turn their back to someone? have they been backstabbed before? will they betray someone if given an ultimatum?

It can take Annette a while to trust people, especially when people who she considered “her friend” in the past have turned their back on her. If someone has lost her trust, she will give them a few chances, but if no apology, she will cut ties with that person all together.

🎀 RIBBON - how would they fit into other worlds / aus? what aus would you like to try out? what fictional world would they fit / not fit into?

I haven’t really thought of any aus for her.. I suppose I do like to imagine a “future/modern” au where she and Steve are married with a family of their own (we know from season 4 that Steve wanted children in his future 😉)

Annette and Robin have their own secret sisterly handshake that they always do when they decide to give a promise to each other.

Annette is the type of girl that is “most likely to….” not forget your birthday (she’s that organised!!) or injure themselves while doing chores in their apartment or even dare someone to get either a tattoo or piercing without their parent’s permission.

I would probably advise her to.. loosen up and live life!! Breathe your way to a calmer, healthier, happier life. Stay true to yourself!

⚙️ GEAR - what are your ocs thoughts on science & art? which do they give more importance to? how much value do they place on each?

While she finds science fascinating, she also finds it very confusing, but she can see the importance it gives.. She however, loves art.. she is very interested in classic Hollywood films and old photography, she can often give out “random” facts about various old actors from what year they were born to their past affairs and relationships. Annette prefers artworks that are brightly coloured and bold. She finds old historical paintings such as those from the seventeenth century “quite depressing and dull” and she finds taxidermy to be “very creepy” (she had a classmate in school who used to keep taxidermy animals, which gave Annette mixed feelings..)

🔧 WRENCH - are they good at fixing relationships? or do they tend to avoid doing so?

She tries her best to fix relationships, as much as she probably wouldn’t show it, she hates to see relationships fallen apart.. but on the other hand, if those people have broken their promises and trust, she thinks it is probably best to cut ties with those people, after they are given a few chances.

❇️ SPARKLE - what is their most prized possession? what do they value?

Annette’s most prized possession is a soft toy pig called “Popcorn” which she had since she was a baby. Whenever she feels down, she would always go into her room, lie on her bed and cuddle him close. She probably wouldn’t show it, but she would be absolutely devastate if she lost him!!

📏 RULER - is your oc well educated? where did they get their learning from?

Annette is really well educated, she was one of the smartest girls in her grade, while she was in school. She pretty much taught herself to read and write when she was a small child with not much help.

She nods, a Bit surprised by the sudden appearance of the Boy.

Leroy and Mellow Went to the beach, given Leroy needed to cool down in the Water from the Heat and Mellow Had ideas to Draw Things.

The HSA students we're invited to an Art Show, given they should Look at Inspiration for Their next Projects. Kome however stayed at a certain Part of the place full of Pictures about Dogs and Cute Animals. She did notice another Girl Starring intensely at some Picture.

"I Had a similar Dog once. He was so pretty."

Kome tried to Strike Up a Conversation but the Girl jumped Up nervously.

"Um huh? Sorry... If I-I am in the w-way I move."

"Right?" Kome tried to slowly strike Up Chats with the Girl as her dorm mates called her Back.

As Kome waved Emikos face was slightly Red.

The voice was rare to relent. It had been thus ever since it had crawled up from the deepest, darkest abyss of Faiolan's soul. He had seen it within his own reflection, beheld the malice of its being, knew it to be a piece of himself more than a phantom of his darkest designs. It had been born from a moment of conflict, a refusal to accept himself as capable of such horrors that he had wrought. But that was some time ago, and as the shadow grew in power and presence, so too did the feelings it had been born from. Faiolan could not refute the simple fact that the voice, a voice of his own but tinged with all that which he left beneath the surface, often spoke fact rather than fictions.

It was his grand epiphany, the moment that he simply accepted that it was a piece of himself, and though he could not completely embrace all that it was, it still existed for him to wield as wickedly as any weapon against those who opposed him. And this... this suited him just fine. It was that which he was born to be. A instrument of demise and despair to be unleashed upon all the enemies Faiolan possessed within heart and soul, and lay waste to their foul ambitions.

"More..." It growled in its primordial fashion. Another battle had come and gone, another set of corpses waiting to be buried and forgotten. Another set of casualties that the Holy See would raise up as a shield to protect their own faults, and a sword to drive more against the so-called heretics with which they culled fear in their own people. More blood, more death, all of it served to carve a crimson road to justice. These lives were inconsequential as compared to the one Faiolan sought in the end, whose head he would grasp in his own hand and hold aloft in defiance of fate. The Inquisitor himself who had wrought so much of this pain and anguish in Faiolan's life. Every fallen soldier of the Holy See was another stepping stone to exacting vengeance where it was due.

"There will be more. There will always be more. There will always be those blinded by the words of the Archbishop and all his little pawns, until we have rent the corruption from the heart of Ishgard. Your hunger will be sated... and our justice will be done."

The darkness swelled with anticipation, but Faiolan tempered it with patience. The darkness was never fully in control. But it was always there, always a part of him, perhaps even the truest part of his being. Until he had accepted that, it had been a struggle. Many sleepless night filled with haunting visions and utter nightmares. Screaming in the night, almost like he was drowning in the darkness. He'd awake in a cold sweat, still gasping for a breath. And the voice clawed constantly at his mind, pushing him beyond his limits, banishing his mercy, embracing his want for blood.

"We will purge them. We will excise the tumor of their lies, tear their flesh from the bones of Ishgard. Their blood shall water the fields of prosperity. Their doom shall be the bell that rings to liberation of your people. You cannot retreat from this path, lest you doom yourself to be lost in the darkness. It is ever your ally... but it can also be your doom. So long as you pursue your justice without relent, without hesitation, without question... we shall have power unimaginable. They will beg us for mercy, and we shall laugh at their plea. Such beings do not deserve mercy, only... extinction."

In moments like these, when all else was silent, the voice ever dropped to a whisper. Faiolan sat within his tent, all the others in the camp deep in their slumber, and he was forced to strain himself to catch upon every word. That was the nature of the shadow, beckoning him ever inward in order to receive its wisdom. It was slowly and surely drawing him to its embrace more fully than before. And he hung on every word of counsel it offered, every piece of guidance. The path he walked was one walked warily, a careful balancing act upon the edge of a wicked blade. A blade that he would plunge into the heart of the Archbishop himself if given half the chance. Oh, how they would relish his screams as he thrashed and fought unto his demise. No one else was fit to walk this path, save for him and his shadow. It caused a shift within him that he hadn't even noticed as it clawed its way up from the abyss. It was only a matter of time before it tried to take control.

Seattle.

Seattle is a place that means so so much to me. My first time there I remember just being in awe of how beautiful it is. A few years later, I grabbed a couple friends and we took a road trip there. I was 16 and left without telling my parents.🙊 (I was always secretly rebellious) Anyway, we just went for the day because we didn't have a lot of money. While doing our little foot tour of the city, we got VERY lost. We asked for directions from someone; he was driving one of those bikes with a trailer/carriage on the back. He offered to give us a ride. We declined explaining to him we didn't have any money and we just needed directions. He was so kind and said he wanted to help us anyway. The whole ride there he told us all about his life in Seattle. His honest, selfless, and welcoming spirit is the reason I have my Space Needle tattoo. Not only do I truly love the beauty of Seattle but it is a reminder for me to do things just to help others out and not expect anything in return. I now visit every chance I get. My brother/best friend live there, and I make new friends everytime I visit. I feel very lucky to have many places to call home. Seattle is definitely one of them. 🏡🎡

I fell asleep cuddling with Julien last night and it felt so warm... I have disastrous sleeping habits, insomnia, and I'm prone to nightmares, but tonight I fell asleep without much issues and I can't recall any scary dreams.

I almost started crying on the spot while looking by the window of the ferris wheel. I shook my head.

-I'm sorry.

I muttered. This day has been a happy day. Julien and I finally saw each other in person after months of only hearing our voices. We spent the day together, mostly wandering in Nimbasa city and just... Having fun. And it's been really great!

But then, we got into the ferris wheel and, I have no idea why, I started to feel melancholic. My throat was making knots and I couldn't really focus my mind on anything except a few snippets of memory -good or bad. It was a bit too much at once.

I soon felt Julien's hand on my shoulder.

-Hey, it's okay.

-Can I have a hug? Please?

He smiled before pulling me close to his chest.

My breath was shaky, and my thoughts disorganized, but his arms felt safe and I could only snuggle closer.

-You can always tell me what's on your mind. I... Am not the best at giving advice, but I'll always be there to listen to you if you're feeling... Blue.

I giggled at the pun.

-Thank you.

We stayed like that for a moment, and suddenly, Julien quietly started singing. It was a song we both new, and maybe the first one we shared.

My voice was hoarse and a bit shaky, but I followed him, our voices breaking the silence between us.

When we ended the song, I looked at him, a soft smile on my face.

-Can I kiss you?

He asked.

-Of course you can.

I wasn't alone, after all.
