Alright, so in response to the last post I made, I realised that it hasn't been long enough for the letter to have made it since it was actually in the second batch I sent out, but there is an email one shot that someone hasn't confirmed they've gotten.

I wanted to message said person but unfortunately they have changed their url and have no links to their new url. So I have to do this publicly because I don't have the time to go through my followers to find their new url and I'm not even sure I'd be able to find them.

So, tumblr user who previously had the url lorienscribe...have you gotten your oneshot? Feel free to message me if you so wish or comment here or whatevs you want. I just want to know if you've gotten it. If not...I will send it again and again until I know you have gotten it.

lorienscribe: You and I both dislike the Narn for the exact same reasons. :) I wish I can find my other post about this, but unfortunately it’s buried in my blog.

I think I read it, or saw something along those lines. :) I do need a little hope with my stories. Bittersweet endings are wonderful. But not "everyone dies, the end." Those stories feel pointless. (My preference is for happy-- but not perfect-- endings with a sense that the story will go on after the ending. Too neatly tied up is annoying and I can often see the author's hand in them rather than it being a natural result of what happened.)

Silmarillion, awesome! Loved that book as well. The myth, the feel of things being larger than life, I love all that! :)

I absolutely love the lore and world building he put into it. I have always adored mythology and that was all that was in there so I devoured it :3

Luckily, I've not been in this situation. I’ve been surrounded by relatively supportive people most of my life (on different levels of support, of course).

No. God no. (But can we talk about how perfect it is that they used Eöl for this one?)

Yes, and it often happens that I don’t reveal it because it comes across as something creepy. Then again, I’m also clueless a lot of times, so it’s all even!

It depends, I tend to be optimist when it comes to motivate friends and stuff, but when it comes to myself it can go either way easily.

Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit? :)

No, I kid! But honestly, I enjoyed that book more than both LotR and The Hobbit. That aside, between the two I would actually pick Lord of the Rings. I read that book constantly in high school because I couldn't get over how big and amazing the world Tolkien had created was. :)

This is going to sound cliched but I actually liked learning things? Like whenever I actually learned something and it was interesting I was ALL OVER IT and most people were like “ugh this shit".

13. Musical artists you love but have gotten shit for liking.

The only time this has actually happened to me was in my first year of college we were talking about music and I mentioned Evanescence and like half the people there jumped because they were, I shit you not, “satanic". i’m like “Yeah… this is NOT gonna be my clique in college. Bye." Not because I loved the band that much (although I did) but because it was such a stupid reaction I was over them immediately.

19. A celebrity crush that maybe even you don’t understand.

The tumblr darlings: I just don’t find Matt Smith and Benedict Cumberbatch to be that, you know, “wow" physically?

20. Free rant on whatever grinds your gears at the moment.

Oh this is a bad idea. But here it is:

Tumblr’s social justice “check and balances" system because it makes no fucking sense to think that an overall decent person is ENTIRELY TAINTED FOREVERMORE because they didn’t comply with one section of the Political-Correctness Manual for Well-Learned People According to The Internet. Like "OH MY GOD. WHAT. A. SURPRISE. Someone… said… SOMETHING THAT DOESN’T FIT THE EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF SOCIAL STRUGGLES AND CONVENTIONS I WAS APPARENTLY BORN WITH? THIS. IS. A. TRAVESTY!”

So forgive them for not knowing from the start that your friend, the trans-gendered mixed-raced 1/3 Native American woman of color is triggered by BDSM. The only difference between the mistakes of people who are bullied to death on this website and the people bullying them, is that the bullies had the privilege of making their mistakes in secret and having no one cyber-kill them for them.

And while I’m on that subject, when people make these kind of mistakes that somehow make SJs feel outraged, often within reason, and they don’t apologize, they’re heartless monsters that don’t want to acknowledge their wrongdoing. Now, if they do apologize, “intent means nothing", so technically there was no function in bitching for an apology other than shoving an “I’m better than you" down their throats.

Anyway, yeah. This is why I should start blacklisting things. I don’t need self-righteous holier-than-thou pricks telling other people they’re shitty humans just because they used the word ‘retarded’ in a sentence.
