Collections: Requiem Playing Cards
Requiem Playing Cards is created by Sweden based Italian artist/designer Lorenzo Gaggiotti in 2014. This unique set of playing cards is unlike any other... it is gory and dark yet beautiful in a weird way. Requiem is custom designed and features darkness and pain as a theme. The illustrations for the Courts, Jokers and Aces are very dark. The suits are made out of broken Hearts, Clubs with thorns, cracked Diamonds and dry leaves as Spades. Pips are unique and the gold metallic ink on this blood red deck gives it a touch of elegance

The Eye Of The Ocean, Stockholm17's Most Ambitious Kickstarter Yet!
Lorenzo Gaggiotti of Stockholm17 will launch his most ambitious yet– the Eye Of The Ocean playing cards today on Kickstarter (Saturday 10pm CEST). Novel, Playing Cards, Puzzle. This project is made of 3 main parts:
The Novel: 20 chapters in 7 acts written in English, wrapped in leather with a metal astrolabe attached on it, and a secret deck-size compartment.
The Playing Cards: 3 variants, poker size, 56 cards with foil application on the back, and custom tuck-boxes.
The Puzzle: find the coordinates of the Eye of the Ocean using the book and the decks of cards (Solis and Lunæ). Prizes will be awarded to those who are able to solve it.
Here's the narrative from the campaign page,
Welcome to 1776 A.D. This is an archaeo-fantasy adventure from the age of sails taking place in Europe and Atlantic Ocean. Join the crew of Cpt. Solveig Hellström to find the mysterious Eye of the Ocean: an ancient sailing island guardian of the seven seas.
There are 3 editions on offer during the campaign. Solis: ocean blue and gold, with custom tuck-box,
Astra Polaris: black and gold, with gilded edges in antique gold and a unique never-seen-before deconstructed tuck-box, and Lunæ: teal and silver, with custom tuck-box
All 3 editions share the same back design but in a different colorway and feature foil application. The fully custom faces are the same for all 3 decks but come with some minor differences.
The court cards are hand-illustrated, The custom aces feature islands and the map portion is visible on the background on the face cards, which is needed for the puzzle.
There is an extra card for Solis and Lunæ which printed with letterpress on cotton paper; also needed the puzzle.
The beautiful tuck-boxes have been designed with a custom closure. Astra Polaris features a never-seen-before "deconstructed" design that shows the beauty of the antique gold gilding. All tucks are printed by Oath Playing Cards and come with embossing and foil!
The cards are printed in Belgium by Cartamundi on B9-slimline true linen finish paper stock.
For the puzzle, you will need the book with a leather cover (which includes the astrolabe) and both Solis and Lunæ decks. Instructions included with the decks. If you solve it, you will be eligible for a final raffle and the chance to win extra items from this project, such as The Quartermaster Edition and/or the Codex Key. Pledge starts from $20 on Kickstarter. There are also multiple rewards that are waiting to be unlocked once the project hits its stretched goals. You don't want to miss this!

Deck View: Heretic (Noctis Edition) Playing Cards
Alchemy. Hermeric. Custom.
The Heretic Noctis playing cards by Stockholm 17 feature intricate designs and imagery based on Alchemy and the Hermetic world. Designed by Lorenzo Gaggiotti, the deck features completely original work. Every aspect has been touched from pips to court cards and the back design with a dark blue colorway. Every little detail ties to the Alchemy theme. The mappings, diagrams, and "Watermarks" on the face cards to the celestial elements scattered throughout the decks just tie it all together beautifully. The intriguing tuck case of the Noctis is just stunning featuring a "long" flap design with a dark color scheme, embossed with black foil and a splash of Gold foil accents. The tuck has the same long serial numbered seal but keeps to the Black pallet of the deck. Again keeping with the Alchemy theme the designs and imagery on the tuck are just stunning. Printed by EPCC at the highest quality stock with 'Master Finish'. [post_ad] from Kardify https://ift.tt/3eHqNxu
