I have this theory rolling around in my brain that vampires and other humans-turned-immortal have distinct extra developmental and emotional stages. Like, while it may vary from individual to individual, you expect a maudlin existential phase around 200 (the terrible 200s, the older vamps scoff), then from 200-300s vampires get the absolute fuckits and get reckless and everybody has to keep them from causing trouble. Around 400 they settle down again, but often become obsessive and withdrawn and get way too in to some hobby or subject. And by 600 they either reintegrate into human society, able again to appreciate the daily eddies of life like a mortal does, or they stop doing much of anything at all.

That's all provided they live that long. Most vampires don't make it 20 years past their turning, or they try a leap too far sometime in those 300s and don't make it.

I like to think a lot of those 600 year old ones make an effort to guide the younger. But they learned a long long long time ago that they can't control the outcomes, and that people, including vampires, will make their own mistakes. They care, but they have a level of peace. They have done so much grieving and changing and surviving that not much really rattles them anymore. they are often kind, but eerie that way.

So during the horror period in my au, null promised her power and recognition. He made them drink his blood, which is highly parasitic since he's not exactly a sprunki. The blood enabled their body to twist and contort into grotesque ways making her deadly when encountered, at that time null though she was the perfect vessel. Well, after jevin got into his head and changed his views on the world and a bunch of cheesy shit I'm not gonna get into rn. Things went back to normal, the elders, now with null by their side healed the others.

Unfortunately Wendel could never expell the parasitic liquid running through their veins. So in the present era in the town, she'll occasionally lose control, mainly at night because of how dark it is.

Tunner has had to clean up guts and corpses in the mornings.

Wendal hates it, she blames herself and null, Simon can only do so much to sooth her unease.

It's highly advised to stay indoors at night, even though Wendel is not always on the hunt.

So they are the in universe standard wedding vows of the people living in the borderlands, so they are mostly used by farmers. They would go somewere along the lines of :

For as the stars belong to the sky, my lifestock shall be yours

as the deer drinks from the brook, you shall drink from my well

as the heather is the sheeps bedding, my house shall be your resting place

For as the moon belongs to the sun, i shall be yours

As there are many farms around these places one person would usually marry into the family of another person and come live with them, so the person welcoming their new spouse in their home would first say these lines and the the other would repeat them back but switch it around saying "your lifestock shall be mine" and so on but at the end it would then be "for as the sun belongs to the moon i shall be yours". This whole kingdom actually has a lot of very important imagery centered around the sun and the moon .... curious

Ralsei is more or less an idealized version of who Kris wanted to be as a kid. And that version was mostly based on their older brother Asriel. Someone they idolized. Someone who wasn't Kris-like and didn't get into trouble and didn't make their parents worry so much. But the thing is, even Asriel wasn't being Asriel-like in that scenario. At least not truly. That's the thing when you're being put on a pedestal as the golden child. All that tries into that one dialog path with Ralsei that he doesn't know what "being Ralsei-like" means. He was never his own person.

actually correct me if im wrong but im curious why V is part of the minor trio, shouldnt he be included in the RFA lol?

Here's some fandom history for you. Way back before Another Story was a thing you could click and you could finally romance Ray and V, there were only five romance-able routes in Mystic Messenger. Just five!

You could only pursue Jaehee, Zen, Yoosung, Jumin, and Seven. So, when imagine/scenario blogs began to do their thing back in the day, they would accept requests as "RFA reacting to", it was the best way to save people time on writing every character's name in the request. It's faster that way! But, therein comes a problem. What do you do if you want a character that doesn't have a route?

Well, you have to label them separately.

So, even though Jihyun Kim is the leader of the RFA, he isn't included in the shortened "RFA" in imagine blogs because he wasn't one of the original routes in the game. He got moved to a different path. Now, in those old days, I used the term Minor Trio to refer to the one who we all loved and wanted routes for but they didn't have them at the time, meaning: Saeran, V, and Vanderwood.

Otherwise, I would get requests like "RFA + V + Saeran + Vanderwood reacting to" and like, c'mon guys, let's save some time here and make another term for them. Tumblr used to have limits on how much text could fit into a question, you know? That was rough and this was one of the best ways to help them save text, too!

The term Minor Trio meant "these are minor characters in the game, so the role they play compared to the others is, unfortunately, minor. People want them and wish they had larger roles and routes, but as it stands right now, they don't have that... and even though they don't have routes, they still matter to us, so this is the term I'll use to refer to them so people have a short-hand to use just like the RFA."

At this point, when you come to a blog and make a request, when people say "RFA reacts", in my brain, I'm going to assume that you understand this lore going into asking the question. I'm not trying to minimize V's role in the RFA, I'm simply using what we've used in the fandom to save time on requests. So, yeah, it's just one of those little things where it's assumed common knowledge.

Now, I haven't had a lot of people use that as shorthand in a while now, but it still exists as a piece of history, haha.

Also Zephyr is part oni...mostly human because her dad is only half oni and her mom is full human so like yeee more human genes ...but she does have like an oni form partially aka what she looks like now in the drawing, lil markings on face, has some horns and a tail and sharper teeth, non human ears too... yeeeee she usually doesn't like it but when she's in a lot of distress she goes into it being overwhelmed yee or if she is pissed and uses her powers too much making her crazy with the amount of corruption yee..
