➖Yesterday we were in @albrookmall 🏢and we toured🚶🏼‍♀️ a @peru history exposition 🏞where we learned about the Lord of Sipan 🤴🏼and pre-Columbian ⛰ages in Peru 🇵🇪 It was incredible to see 👀how the indigenous cultures worked so hard 💪🏼 to make the difference in their times⏳!! Itinerary Day 1 – Arrive to Trujillo – Moon Temple & The Pre – Inca City of Chan Chan.
On arrival in Trujillo, assistance at the airport and transport to your hotel At 10:00AM the tour will start, you will visit the large flat topped pyramids known as Huaca de la Luna. These pyramids were built between 0 and 800 A.D by Moche culture. These pyramids are an amazing example of long term achievement of archaeology. Afterwards, you will head towards the coast through Trujillo to a nearby Huanchaco beach resort. Here you will try out some of Trujillo’s delicious seafood at a restaurant which overlooks the Pacific Ocean. The fishermen paddle around the sea and try to collect sea species from the Pacific Ocean while kneeling on caballitos de totora. Then you will move towards Chimu’s capital and great center, Chan Chan. You will arrive at Chan Chan which is one of the biggest adobe cities built. Initially, it was a sequence of 9 massive palaces that belonged to Chimú realm’s successive rulers. After visiting and exploring Chan Chan, you will head back to Trujillo where you will stay for the night.

Day 2 – Trujillo To Chiclayo – Archaeological Site of El Brujo & Peruvian Paso Horses.
Breakfast at hotel; pick up from the hotel at 9:00AM you will drive towards Chiclayo in a private car. Throughout this journey on the Pan-American Highway, you will witness changing scenery from coastal Peru. In this trip, you will also visit El Brujo, an archeological site on the way to Chiclayo. A tattooed priestess mummy was discovered from this site, buried with military and ceremonial accoutrements. El Brujo was also featured in the magazine of National Geographic for this discovery. After El Brujo, you will visit Huaca Cao where the governor and priestess of the people of Moche, The Lady of Cao (La Señora de Cao) were discovered. Due to the tattoos on her legs and arms, jewelry and pottery, ‘The lady of Cao’ attracts the most attention than the other tombs. This mummy has been placed at the Museum of Cao which can be directly seen from Huaca Cao. You may also visit the museum. You will be served a delicious lunch at a Paiján hacienda. Here, you will also enjoy a beautiful and colorful exhibit of horsemanship of local Peruvian Paso Horses as well as their riders. Their art is a combination of music and dance of northern Marinera. Your journey towards Chiclayo will continue where you will stay overnight. Overnight: Hotel in Chiclayo Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch
Day 3: Huaca Rajada and The Royal Tombs Of Sipan.
After a delicious pick up from the hotel at 9:00AM, you will visit Huaca Rajada complex. This comprises of 2 large pyramids which are made from adobe mud. In the front of these two pyramids is a platform with 2 royal mausoleums. The Huaca Rajada is also known as the ‘cracked pyramid’ due to all the deep gulleys battered into its edges. These eroded platforms yielded marvelous antique treasures from different tombs buried deep. These tombs belonged to the pre-Inca culture of Moche, who used to live 1,500 years ago in north coast valley of Peru. You will head back to Chiclayo for a northern style Peru lunch. Afterwards, you will continue towards Lambayeque where you will visit Sipán Museum’s Royal Tombs. This contemporary building represents the Moche pyramid style and the main reason for its construction was keeping the priceless and stunning objects which were discovered at Sipán. You will see the incredible collections of precious and priceless objects like headdresses, ear plugs, shell and stone necklaces, images and symbols. The headdresses used to be displayed and worn at Moche ceremonies. You will also learn about the historical significance of these objects. You will also get to visit an exhibit of animated waxworks of retinue and lords of Moche court. This will allow you to get a glimpse of the dazzling and unfamiliar world of that era which thrived at the time Europe was being engulfed into the Dark Age after the fall of Roman Empire. You trip will end with a drive to the airport in the afternoon as per your flight schedule to Lima. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch
