Cartoons from my country, India. We are this. It greatly differs from how foreign animation depicts us. We have a diverse culture and we're seen through a narrow lens. Some of my favourite Indian Cartoons-

We have all skin types and colours too but we're all black and brown in foreign animation. There's more to us than snake charming and scary pujas. I hope that it will change one day.

first it was aditya kashyap and now am visualizing wonu as krish from 2 states!!! lord the desi wonu brainrot is getting real....

➻ wonwoo being an A grade student in your university was like the perfect choice for you ask academic help from.

➻ taking computer lessons from him while you stared at the galaxy in his eyes for hours, was definitely not gonna do you any good later, but as they say we don't think much while fallin in love

➻ something you didn't know was that wonwoo fell for you way before you even approached him for the favor. peeping at your studying form from the book shelves of the common library

➻ generally basic programming lessons take a month, but to keep you beside him longer he was ready to stretch it for even years.

➻ as perfect as wonwoo's life seemed from the outside, it definitely wasn't so cinematic from within ; having family disputes causing him to fend for himself in the college without any kind of emotional or financial support from his parents.

➻ that didn't stop both of you from being each other's sunset... you became his shoulder to lean on whenever he needed comfort or support whereas he became the hand you grasped onto tightly for encouragement to never give up on your dreams despite family pressure.

➻ after graduating from uni, you finally had the courage to tell you father that you wanted to pursue literature and not any IT job, and wonwoo was holding your hand tightly throug every moment of the nerve wrecking experience.

➻ him being an IT major and you now studying literature meant not being in the same organization, his workload making it quite difficult for him to meet you or talk you for hours everyday.

➻ to your surprise wonwoo knew the exact way to your heart. he may look like a nerd, but deep down inside he was as poetic as you were.

➻ sending you a handwritten letter, packed up carefully with fresh flowers every morning was his way of showering you with love, reassuring you that he'll always stand right beside you.

➻ not that you were any less in showing your affection towards your moon too... sending him random cute emails with paragraphs coded in programming language, peppered with your love and motivation to never stop chasing his dream, and that you'll always grasp onto his hands tightly.

"The Red Lotus." From the Gopala-Tapaniya Upanishad “The Exploration of the Mysteries of the Ascetic Cowherd.”

Now the Upanishad explains the appearance of the god Krishna, a manifestation of the law:

6. One who meditates on this Supreme Personality of Godhead, glorifies Him, and worships Him, becomes liberated. He becomes liberated.

7. They said: What is His form? What is His glorification? How does one worship Him? Please describe this to us

8-9. Brahma said: He appears like a cowherd boy. His complexion is like a monsoon cloud. He stays under a desire-tree. The following verses describe Him.

10. Meditating with all his heart on Lord Krishna, whose eyes are handsome lotus flowers, whose complexion is a monsoon cloud, whose garments are lightning, who has two arms, who is rich in transcendental knowledge, who wears a garland of forest flowers, who is the supreme controller, who is surrounded by gopas, gopis, and surabhi cows, who rests under a sura-druma tree, who is decorated with splendid ornaments, who stands in the middle of a red lotus flower, and who is served by breezes that have touched the Yamuna’s waves, a person becomes free from repeated birth and death.

As I mentioned Krish is the manifestation of the Hindu god of thunder named Kartikeya, the equivalent of the Archangel Michael in Judaism.

Lightning in Hinduism is found in the intellect. The ability to look at a bowl of fruit and know the difference between an orange, an apple, and a banana is lightning. Lightning thoughts are pure and true. It is not possible for the mind to emit anything other than lightning. When the mind starts telling itself to pray to Jesus, or to think about strange things, that is not the lightning. To witness suffering and turn away from it, is also not natural, so the Upanishad says a just man will ensure his mind and heart, the red lotus flower are tuned to the same note.

The text mentions what is called Yamuna, “To wash the eyes.” If the eyes behold injustice but the hands do nothing then the lightning is not present. Something is missing. This is when the Upanishad is helpful. Justice is the requisite if we are to be in charge of something we cannot control- death due to manmade causes. There must not be death or suffering due to unnatural causes. This is the message of Sri Krishna.
