The Gods love you.
Even when you spend days without lighting up their candles.
Even if you don't have an Altar.
Even if you don't feel their presence yet.
Even if you're not good at tarot.
Or doesn't have prophetic dreams.
They still love you. And you know why?
Because you're you. And that's enough for them, your presence, your devotion, your well-being, is what truly matters for them.
So don't you feel pressured or sad, lovebug 💜💜

Can anyone do me a solid and like or reblog this if you're a devotee of Lord Eros?
And maybe if you actually actively post about it? It's so hard to find resources about working with Him and I wouldn't mind a few more witchy acquaintances. <3

Even though Lord Eros isn't technically my brother and I haven't spoken to him before, I see him as my brother due to Lady Aphrodite being my soul mom jsnsnsn
So anytime I see him, there's like a voice in the back of my mind that's like 'ayyyy my brother lmaooo'. /lh

Eros feels like loving something so fiercely, with so much passion, that you don't think you can live without it.
Hypnos feels like waking up from a dream that changed your view of the world, for the better.

🫧The Importance of Epithets🫧
Adhara's post introduction: Hello, lovebugs! Today's post is about epithets! Hope you guys like it! I've always found Epithets something essential in my practice, so I wanted to share some knowledge and information for you guys!!
🎐What are Epithets?
🦢 Throughout ancient Greek writing and mythology, there is something known as epithets. The definition of epithet is repeated descriptive adjectives or phrases linked to a specific character, either a God or Hero, that are used to describe a specific characteristic of they hold.
🎐 What is the importance of the Epithets?
🦢 Epithets are important not only to know more about your Deity, but also to know what type of works they do with their devotees, and also to know which energy you may resonate more with.
🎐 How to know which Epithet I'm working with my Deity?
🦢 First, I recommend you to do multiple researches about your Deity, then see which one resonates more with you, then you ask them for confirmation, it's best if you have the Epithets in hand and go through it with your Deity, especially if you don't feel your intuition pushing you towards an specific epithet.
🎐 What are examples of Epithets, and what they can mean to me?
🦢 Here's some examples of Epithets and their meanings and what they could mean in works (from my perspective, of course):
- Aphrodite Areia, the warlike. A surname of Aphrodite, when represented in full armour like Ares, as was the case at Sparta: It can help at getting more confident in yourself and getting through challenges.
- Athena Paeonia(Paiônia), i. e. the healing goddess, was a surname of Athena, under which she had a statue at Athens, and an altar in the temple of Amphiaraus at Oropus: It can help through mental and physical traumas and how to live past them.
- Hekate Atalos; the tender-hearted, or Hekate the delicate: Helps through understanding that even if you're powerful, you can still be kind and soft-hearted.
- Ares Aphneiós; rich, wealthy: It can help with finances, such as saving and controlling your money better.
- Demeter Brimo;(Brimô), the angry or the terrifying, occurs as a surname of several divinities, such as Hecate or Persephone: It can help understanding where your anger comes from.
🎐 Are all Epithets usable in our worshipping?
🦢 That's a tricky question, some Epithets were used in a specific part of Greece or another place, so they may not be fit for some of us.
If you like my posts and are in need of a tarot reading, I have a ko-fi!!! Also, feel free to ask me anything, especially advice and tips! I'll try my best to help you ^~^

[Apex having to babysit two ghost idiots—one of them bothering him to give him therapy and the other just trying to probably smooch to manipulate—, his own soldier, a poor baby, and several other annoying Pac-Worlder kids. He's so single mother core/j /silly]
Here's a little video, showing a little bit on how Eros can shape-shift. But also how annoying he is 😔/hj
He will not shape-shift for anything malicious, only to attempt at making his targets smile, but he's also mischievous so he'd just do it to tease them.
He can do a very good job at mimicking who he transforms into (as long as they're not Apex and Tip because he cannot get access to their memories no matter how much he tries) but if he doesn't want to, he won't do it. That's why he goes into a version of the person who's more softer looking and "fixed".
Also I forgot how to draw Betrayus.

⌗ !! ꒰ 31 days of helpol ꒱ 🏛️
(but i’m 10 days late😨)
(this post was NOT proofread)
day one - “who was there first deity you began worshipping? do you still worship them now?”
Lord Apollo has been my deity ever since the start, but the first deity i ever actually prayed to was Lady Nyx. i wasn’t even a hellenic polytheist yet, had no clue the religion existed, but i felt compelled to do it and it felt right. so Lady Nyx started me on this journey and Lord Apollo has guided me through it <3
day two - “which deity did you most recently start worshipping?”
most recently i would say Lord Dionysus, which is crazy because i’ve been worshipping him for a while. i haven’t started recently with any new deities because im really forcing myself to take it slow now. last time i rushed it and then i had to take a break for months, so i wanna do it right this time.
day three - “how long ago did you start hellenic polytheism”
i started sometime back in april (i think??), so about 8 months now!! granted, part of that i was taking a break, but i always had faith in my religion the whole time. i thought if the gods, did small things for them, stuff like that. i just wasn’t super active with my practice anymore.
day four - “are there any deities you don’t currently worship but want to learn about?”
Asclepius, Eros, and Helios!! i want to work with them, but im making myself take it slow for now (as i said) because im trying to not put too much on myself. i’m still starting and learning, and i don’t want to mess up or overwhelm myself. when im ready though, i can’t wait to work with them <33
day five - “how much have bonded with your deities?”
quite a bit, but obviously not as much as others. i’ve mainly bonded with Lord Apollo and sometimes i can feel his presence or he’s more responsive in divination, but i’d say that about where we are right now.
day six - “what’s one way you incorporate hellenic polytheism into your routine?”
scrolling through tumblr (this is my hellenic polytheism only blog), making things for them, seeing something and saying “oh, that reminds me of them”, and little things like that. i also have a thing on finch for “work with my deities” so that helps me make sure i do something for them everyday. sometimes i space out and almost forget to pray to them or do a devotional act that day, but i want to do something every day for them, so the reminder helps lol
day seven - “are you openly a hellenic polytheist offline? how does being open/not being open affect your worship?”
i’m open with my friends about it, but not family. i’m 99% sure my parents know though, and they don’t give a shit. like my mom even said “oh, i should’ve gotten you tarot cards for your birthday!! i’ll get you some for christmas!!” and she got me this witchy bag from joann fabrics. the only way not being open about it affects my worship is no alter, but that’s really only because i’m living at my grandparents house rn. as soon as we’re out, i can finally light candles, incense, make alters, buy statues, stuff like that.
day eight - “do you have alter(s)?”
nope. but i really want to make one!! specially for Lady Aphrodite and Lord Apollo!! (i sort of have one for Lord Dionysus though which is just my pile of posters from various theatre shows i’ve seen/been in)
day nine - “is there a practice among other hellenic polytheists that you’re skeptical about?”
not really. maybe candle divination?? though that’s one i’ve seen the community kind of split on. candles are tricky, as are incense, but i think sometimes there’s obvious undeniable signs from those. just… don’t take every little movement as a sign. wind exists.
day ten - “what’s something you learned about hellenic polytheism that you wish you knew sooner?”
tiktok is pretty unreliable (though there’s a few good creators on there) and you don’t need to rush yourself. it’s okay to not be making insane progress everyday. do things when your ready.

Just did a reading with Eros bc I just finished watching I Saw the TV Glow and feel unwell. I had his playlist on smart shuffle and all of a sudden the song Icarus & Apollo started playing.
I just kind of sat there and was like ????? Apollo???? And I then pulled the crow card in my deck. I asked him what he had wanted to say, and immediately my Spotify started glitching so much I had to close the app and re open it.
After everything got re sorted out, it went well. They were both darlings as usual and Eros and Apollo had said stuff I needed to hear :,))
I just can’t get over Apollo FULLY hijacking Eros’ playlist omg

🌸 Things to put on your Deities Altar 🌸
Adhara's introduction of the post: Hii, lovebugs! This post is mainly to help those who don't know what to put on their Deities Altar, but just to be clear that there isn't a rule of how you create your Deities Altar, okay? Do what makes you feel more comfortable and that you think your Deities will like!
🪻Crystals:
Putting crystals on the altar is a good start! You can put protection crystals; cleansing crystals, and the crystals dedicated to your Deities! I like to put the crystals next to their candles, so it's easier for me to know which crystals belong to who!
🪻Poems:
The Gods love poems! But if you think you aren't good making poems, you can simply write a letter thanking them or just praising them ^^
🪻Books:
You can put your spellbooks, books that are about Greece, or just books that you love reading in honor of your Deities!
🪻Flowers:
You can't go wrong with flowers! Be it their correspondent flower or just flower with the color they're associated with. Besides, you can use dried petals as an offering for them!!
🪻Feathers:
A lot of the Gods are related to birds, like Apollo; Aphrodite; Hera; etc. So that is something that you can put in their altars as well!!
🪻Your tarot:
Quite obvious, I know, but it's good to let your tarot on your altar so it's safe and you can also use whenever you need it, while also making the Gods get more used to this object. (Still, I recommend you to do a cleansing on your tarot, I prefer doing with incense, but do whatever you feel more comfortable, lovebug!).
🪻Things that bring you comfort:
Lastly, anything that brings you comfort and that you like, an Altar is something personal and uniquely yours, sure, everyone wants a pretty Altar, but there's beauty in the chaotic, in the simple and in the messy Altars too. Don't feel pressured and the Gods will like whatever you put in your Altar for them (as long as it's not disrespectful, of course).
Hope that you liked it, lovebugs! And I'm planning to make even more helpful posts like this! But I'm always open to new ideas, so don't feel shy to reach out to me ^^ bye byee~

After the lords of hell start hanging around at Mirrah’s house he has to deal with the inevitable questions… “when will you give me grandchildren?!” From dear old dad. Mirrah is patient and petty so he will keep his word.
Idk why I decided that Mirrah is Baal’s son but I think it’s perfect. Also I’ve decided this whole AU thingy is gonna be called Aftermath, it’s a kinda serious but not really slice of life style AU with a touch of adventure for the Nephies (Nephalem)
