If you are someone like me and you hate to drink plain water (even though everyone tells you that you need to) - add some herbs! I have added spearmint leaf with a pinch of lemon peel for a cool, delicious flavored water. I add the herbs to a strainer in a mason jar, top with water, and let it sit for a few hours. Then as I remove some of the flavored water, I add more plain water over the herbs. The herbs are good until there is no flavor left. This blend is decadent, elegant, and pleasing to the senses. I wanted a black tea with a chocolate flavor and this is what occurred. I used Assam Black Tea, which by itself is elegant, and I added cacao nibs, chicory root, carob root (which has a chocolate flavor), cinnamon and a touch of orange peel to round it all out. I make all of my own blends so if you are allergic to cinnamon, I can make yours without it. What can I say about this blend? Houjicha Green Tea naturally sweetened with dried apricot and peaches, with pure peach and mango extract (not artificial flavorings)... this is wonderful as a hot cup of tea, but it is simply dee-vine as a cold brew. One sip and you will be hooked.
