Caretakers of the Planet
The hardest thing for me to do is write because others have different perceptions on how they see the world, but as far as my writing is concerned, all my blogs are based on facts and universal truths. If it’s out there I write about it.
Where the natural world and our lives are at risk, it is important we sit up and listen. The harsh realities the world is now facing, are being covered by Sir David Attenborough, an English Broadcaster, Biologist, and historian are the facts and we’re not listening and time is running out. We need to act.
Caretakers of the Planet
We ARE CARETAKERS of the planet, but what is happening is that we’re not thinking about how us living our lives is taking its toll on the planet. Time is running out to make a difference for the planet and a difference in the world.
Covid-19
Covid-19 is showing us just how vulnerable we and the world are, we’re now at a crossroad, and we ultimately are responsible for how we lives our lives from here. Flaws that we weren’t seeing before have become all too evident in the pandemic. We are caretakers for the planet and caring for the planet means we need to be doing things that keep us and the earth healthy.
The earth has everything we need to live successful lives, but we also need to take care of it, so it can continue to give us what we need. There are plenty of ways to make good choices, choices that help OUR planet.
Eco-friendly choices
Eco-friendly choices are important not only for us, but for future generations not yet born. When you conserve the Earth’s natural resources like water, you’re paving the way for future generations to benefit. I talk specifically about ‘climate change’ in previous blogs, but we need to lap it up diligently if the human species are going to save the planet and survive.
The air around us is warming up because of C02. It’s a gas that comes from the cars we drive, the holidays we take through travel either by train, car, or airplanes and also power stations. Caring for the environment isn’t difficult, we just have to want to care, so that future generations can also live their lives.
We need to care
We need to care. We need to care for animals through conservation and care for the environment. We need to go green so we’re caring for the environment, the forests. As deforestation is happening, animals you and I once grew up with our losing their habits and as a result are losing their lives.
It is our job. It is something we all need to do diligently and urgently, because we are running out of time. It is time to take stock, it is time as a human race to save the natural world, to save ourselves, to become less selfish and become selfless.
Conclusion
It doesn’t matter which blog you read or from which category. My blogs are all based on ‘universal truths’ which you have the right to ignore. But ignoring them doesn’t change the facts.
We can either use what I write, including in my books, to better ourselves, to live better lives, or we can continue to live in ignorance of the facts and still get caught out, because we will. The irony is that since Covid-19, we’re not really living in the true sense. We’re having to be more mindful of our lifestyles so that we don’t catch Omicron, or Delta, simply put Covid-19.
But the pressing issues are the ones we’re blatantly ignoring, because of greed. In the UK we have had 5 days of storms and yes the wider world is also being affected by landslides; which means loss of life, loss of human habitats also.
Our children’s children, not yet born, will also meet with problems, worse case scenario, they may not have a life to live. We are responsible and accountable and need to start being responsible NOW.
Everything Sir David Attenborough has done and continues to do will have been for nothing and the legacy he leaves behind, will be one of total destruction and devastation if we DON’T ACT NOW. It’s not on him, it’s on us, but the effects will be the same. Is that what you want?
It is not only our children who are relying on us to give their children the quality of life we have enjoyed, but the natural world. We are destroying their habitats through the way we live our lives. It’s time to give back.

🌎 With your help and support alongside @greensaloncollective we recycle your HAIR & More… . We all know that if hair is long enough we can donate it for wigs. But what about the 99.9% of hair that isn't long enough? There are many ways to recycle hair including making hair booms and hair mats as well as using it for gardening and composting. . It's no secret that hair absorbs oil, we’ve all had oily hair at some point! It was this simple idea that led to the concept of hair booms and hair mats. An American hairdresser back in 1989 named Phil McCroy came up with the idea of using hair to stop the spread of oil in the sea. Essentially, a hair boom is hair cuttings of any length or colour tightly packed into cotton or nylon tubes. When placed in either water or on the shores of beaches, these booms will stop oil from spreading, saving wildlife and the natural landscape. . ♻️ We also recycle: ◾️ Metals ◾️ Chemicals ◾️ PPE ◾️ Plastic ◾️ Paper . #zerowaste #greensaloncollective #greensalon #recycling #carefortheplanet #splashyatrash #lookingaftertheplanet #paper #hair #plastic #metal #chemicals #ppe #salonrevolution #sustainablesalon #recycletheunrecyclable #recyclehair #teamstonehills #stonehillshair #stonehillshairdressing #welwyngardencity #welwyn #hairsalonwelwyngardencity #hertfordshire (at Stonehills Hairdressing) https://www.instagram.com/p/CQYxk95r6Eo/?utm_medium=tumblr
