i'm rather reluctant to study the scriptures but at the same time, i also want to get an answer from God that my queerness is welcomed. how would i go about doing that?

You can go directly to God and ask. Prayer is available to everyone. I've read many beautiful answers from queer people who have asked if God loves them as they are, as a queer person.

Of course, I can't guarantee that an answer will be forthcoming, but I do believe that God is anxious to let us know we are loved.

As for scriptures, I have a few posts for you to read. There's more hope for us in the scriptures than many realize

Understanding God's Word is crucial to applying it effectively in our lives. The Bible says, "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding" (Proverbs 4:7). The Lord Jesus Himself emphasized the significance of understanding in Matthew 13:3-8 when He told the parable of the sower.

In His illustration, He explained that as the sower went forth to sow his seeds, they fell into different grounds. Some fell by the wayside and the birds of the air came and picked them up, and they had no chance to grow. The Lord Jesus however highlighted the problem of this group of people to be their lack of understanding of the Word they heard: “When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side” (Matthew 13:19).

The practical application of God's Word hinges on your understanding of it. You can't put to work God's Word that you don't understand. Without understanding, it becomes challenging to implement biblical principles and teachings effectively in your daily life.

🪽I closeth this body's eyes and looketh within the innerworld. I am in a field, a lovely one! 'Tis filled with flowers of all colors, trees with leaves of both light and dark greens. I holdeth mine own hand out, and a soft raindrop falleth on it.

🪽The rain increaseth its pace, and I could not beeth more happy! It falleth on mine own face, mine own wings, mine own hair, mine own clothes! Tis wonderful, oh so wonderful!

🪽I doeth mine own best to breathe-- a bit harder to think of, as the body is currently ill-- and I receiveth a faint scent of lavender, of roses, of tulips and daisies! And of the rain; goodness, the scent of rain!

🪽And I am happy. Happier than I ever did thinketh I would beeth in my past. I feeleth at peace.
