'Locklands' was an interesting conclusion to this fantasy trilogy, but also just not a heist novel in the same way the first two were - this is more of a thriller about magical transhumanism and family trauma, which is fun, but also I was hoping for it to somehow give us 'one last big score' in a way that this didn't. (Also, I was kind of disappointed in the epilogue, in the way that is more about my problems with failures of transhumanism than anything to do with fantasy or heists…) Anway, really can't recommend starting here because so much of this is about wrapping up plots and paying off revelations from the earlier books, but if you like fantasy heists, 'logical' and interlocking magics, or canonical lesbians going through it, 'Foundryside' is a good book, and it'll get you here eventually. :)

I probably should mention I am a mixed kid LMAO. What I'm talking about is how Jon's story parallels what a lot of mixed kids expierence. It makes absolute perfect sense that Jon is biologically fully Kryptonian, but even this could be relayed to being mixed.

I get what you say when culturally mixed kids are BOTH cultures, which is absolutely right, but often times they are made to pick one or feel like they don't fit either. Earl Sweatshirt was on some real shit when he said "Too black for the white kids and too white for the blacks". Culturally, mixed kids belong to both, but a lot of the time the culture doesn't want that. A lot of the times a community will reject mixed kids.

Jon almost gets bodied by the Eradicator because of this, he's told his Human side is worth nothing, and he is defective because of it. As Superboy, presenting himself as Kryptonian, we know there's people who would never see him as Human, even if they knew he has a Human parent. So the Eradicator says Jon doesn't fit because of his human side, and some people say (no one in particular but shout out to Lex Luthor and his alien xenophobic goons) that he could never be Human because of his Kryptonian side.

Jon says he doesn't know what he is because he is both Kryptonian and Human, (I'm still working through all his material so this could be refuted) which is real asf for mixed kids across the globe. The thought process of, "If I'm not X or Y, then what am I?" is one of the mixed kid hive mind. Especially since he's not just saying this as a mixed kid, he's saying it as the literal first of his kind.

Also, Jon obviously has to lie about being Kryptonian for the safety of his family, but also because he might not be accepted. Jon is pretending to be something he's not to fit in, for his safety. The S stands for code switching‼️

The bit about Jon being 100% invested in Terran culture but being detached from it is also very mixed kid.

If you were wondering, Jon being biologically fully Kryptonian relating to being mixed comes in when some people don't "look" mixed. Because someone who looks fully one race would still be culturally the other until, they're harassed for participating in it and outcasted from it.

And you're still so right, Jon's mixed culture and biology should be explored so much more! His culture and biology obviously play into each other and it's criminal they're not used more.

Think "Beyonce's Bee Hive" (fake ass friends paid for to bully anyone who insults her). Back then, I was not aware of the CIA software programs that are used to create fake profiles. For example , a celebrity or a political figure can have these profile users praise them to make them look more popular. Some have millions of followers and over 900,000 of them are fake profiles not to mention brainwashed people that still follow Obama (the most loved and popular President in history really besides the Clinton's for giving out welfare). But in the past, I was on myspace exposing that I was stalked and bullied by people I didn't know who could tease me about private things I did in my home alone. Myspace had fake profiles bully me and then deleted my account because I posted bulletins on it. My blacklisting began after I filed a lawsuit with The Galt House Hotel in Kentucky because my married supervisor Molly Ellis wanted to have sex with me and refused to take "you're like an aunt to me," for an answer. I even told my supervisor Renee that Molly was not my type and that of she had hit on me, I would have loved it. Renee Peterson was older than Molly Ellis and had blonde hair. I got along with all my bosses before my targeting and I was always treated so well before my blacklisting. Kool Smiles has two locations in Kentucky and they no longer exist because a company that uses pappose boards to hold children down should not participate in raping their own employees.

I am bullied by dead beats who have abandoned their own children, junkies, sex pill poppers, groupie fucks and morons who ended up having a really shitty purpose in life or none at all. My mind is so strong that I have never been cheated on, slept with a married person, abused a child on coke. Allowed a child around me to be sexually abused. Nor do I shallow my pride and drop my intelligence for sex snd drugs and to be used by someone. So I am exposing cyber attacks knowing this makes me vulnerable to being bullied even more. I imagine that even people who don't speak up imagine a day where their child is sick or paralyzed from a vaccine. Its happened before. The parents spoke out on FB and were blacklisted. So when you are blacklisted, all your creepy porn searches and your private actions can be used against you by employees, manager's, supervisors and even your own family if they are cheap enough to be brought.
