Could this be a better day? A gorgeous gift of Seraanna art from @maxparkhurst - in all of Seraa's menacing minx glory. The hair, the dress, the pose. How are people allowed to be this good at writing and art? And this in addition to the gift from Mozelle, and... yes, I've peaked.

Seraanna as The Sibyl - commission from Hvitkanen

sib·yl/ˈsib(ə)l/

a woman in ancient times supposed to utter the oracles and prophecies of a god.

Symbolism of The Sibyl:

Two fingers pointing towards Heaven and two towards Earth.

Six-pointed stars behind (the Seal of Solomon), a symbol of wisdom

The moon is a symbol of intuition, dreams, and the unconscious.

Her hypnotic gaze which entrances those who come near her, bringing them under her power.

A key that represents the balance between the conscious and subconscious minds and the unlocking of mysteries.

The key has an inverted pentagram – a sign of the darker side of magic and occultism.

It was such a pleasure to work with Hvit on this one - I came to them with the concept of Seraanna as a sibyl; they brought the symbolism and imagery to life and I’m almost wordless here!
