[#TAKEOVER] One of the many things I love about Long Beach is that it's such an amazing place to raise kids. Here my son Jackson and his friend Bowie are skipping down the street in Belmont Heights, where we love living because we feel we have the best of the suburbs and the city within a couple of blocks of each other. Our family loves to visit the @aquariumpacific where we are members, the #bayshorelibrary and of course the beach. Being a mom and the CEO of an arts organization makes me really proud of all the arts education programs our local organizations have fostered (shout out to @longbeachsymphony, @molaaart, @musicaangelica, @ict_longbeach, @lbmaorg, and of course us @longbeachopera) and also inspires me to continue to find new ways to share the arts with kids. I went and sang opera for Jackson's kindergarten class last week - and guess what?
