Okay Air, I gotta know if you have some kind of process for designing outfits for your characters? They are always so cute and unique! What is your favorite way to get inspired?

Hm!!! My process is pretty straightforward I think? I keep the character's style in mind (like, their preferred clothes), and then I will find any references that suit, then design an outfit from there. In the case of the Fruit series (which I only just started and finished the one portion for PFFT), the designs are a mix of the fruit itself, seeds, and flowers (if applicable).

For example, in Dante's blood orange design that I just did, I kept in mind that he 1) loves leather jackets and has a lot of them, 2) big fan of knives, 3) is a cowboy and likes to wear chaps/cowboy boots and has a lot of different designs for them, 4) usually wears tank tops/wife beater styled shirts underneath everything, and 5) usually keeps himself quite covered up but has a tendency to wear low-cut shirts. He does like jewellery but since I gave him the knife, I didn't add any necklaces to the design.

For the colors, I pulled straight from photos of blood oranges (Dante's hair isn't that color naturally, it's more of a ruddy/rustic deep brown/mauve/red), but I wanted to make sure the color palette was more copesetic, so the only "natural" colors every character kept (and will keep in the other colors of the series) is their skin and eye color. I even changed Dante's scar color (like I did with Dabi's too).

Of course that's just in reference to my Fruit series; otherwise I keep Pinterest boards overly organized with sections and such to make sure I can keep on hand a quick reference for anything!! This was especially helpful with Dante because I was at a loss at first until I reminded myself that he's a modern cowboy and chaps are very diverse design wise, so while I actually wanted to put the blood orange drip design on the back of his jacket (which let's be real, it's on the back of his jacket too LOL just a full orange instead of a slice), I shifted that design to his chaps (HELPFUL!!!), and from there was like "oh shit, I can add some blood dripping inside his jacket too!!" so I did and it really brought his design together (in fact, Blood Orange Dante is my favorite of that bunch 🖤🖤)

I do way better on paper given I don't have the proper set up to do digital art to the best of my abilities because with apps it limits you. The main art projects of Pennywise is not done so today a sketch. Hey!!! I was curious what Loa Amita's color scheme would be? (Like what her followers would wear and such) It's uhhh, for science. Yeah ^w^

Oooooh shoot you know I’m not sure…. cuz it could go anyway, but… hmmm now that I think about it, I could see her with a few different color schemes?

Purple, gold, blue.

Pink, purple, fuchsia, gold.

Blue, green, teal, silver.

Black, red, gold.

So for her followers I think….. the Blue/green/teal/silver and pink/purple/fuchsia/gold, mostly general wear. Or black and lots of colorful beads and jewellery (I mean you saw my sketch of Zel huehue~).

Armor wise would mostly fall under the black/red/gold scheme, but yeah THAT’S WHAT I GOT //SOBS

Alternatively she might end up being all blues and blacks and silvers to look like the night sky, cuz y’know, she’s moonlight.

Pennywise "Not again ."

I was hoping in my head that it wasn't true...I saw blood floating in the air as if gravity did not exist and there he laid in a heap. Broken, Battered, utterly in shock and I can't tell you how much it hurt.

What do I mean? I'm alone I don't have anything or any friends and there the monster that spared me out of pity perhaps or just for the latter. He was laying there...his eyes glossy and I could hear the echo of my own scream calling his name and to his side. What have they done to him!?

I knew this wasn't a trick because even he is that cruel to fake his own death in front of me and I was holding him. Trying to stop his essences leaving his being and evaporating like he was nothing. I had not cried this hard for anything in a long time and I shook him. Begging him not to go and finally his eyes might mine.

He looked confused at first at my reaction and he blinked a few times before letting out a pained growl. I was no doctor by any means and he was hissing at me.

"Penny? Are you gonna die cause I will totally be so mad at you."

As usual he gave me the typical "Fuck off" look he had but he didn't move from my lap he stayed right in my arms. Don't get me wrong he is beautiful and handsome however he is my best friend.

"I'm internal...let me rest women." At first he glanced at me before closing his eyes.

"Have you seen your self? You can't stay down here like this Penny." I tried to reason.

"I said...let me rest."

"Alright fine, you leave me no choice." For once he looked just as surprised as I was when I started to drag him out from which I always sneak into his sewer. There is soooo many ways in this place and He was getting so damn heavy.

"Kat! What the...you don't listen to me..." He hissed with Malice but didn't seem to be stopping me.

"Now you know how it feels dealing with you." I grunted and finally he got his ass moving. " My house Pen-pen."

"Don't ever call me that again." He said and he disappears like the werido he is. Gotta love him and I be damned as soon as I get home...he folded himself in my shower like a pretzel and looked at me like a pissed off cat.

"You didn't knock."he grinned despite the condition he was in.

"It's my house Silly I don't have to...so why here of all the comfortable places?" He looked at me like I was stupid and he had warm water around him when I looked down. "hmm I wonder ?" He was being sarcastic.

"Ah-hah-hah I forgot to laugh sewer clown but at least you will smell better. "

"Look I'm here like you wanted so can I rest?" He looked like he could pass out.

"Not yet Let's get you cleaned up and in bed trust me for once." I gave him a look of saddness unconsciously and how I knew is because he unfolded him self and tilted his head. " You are a odd human you know that ?" His voice cracked and he closed the curtain and I heard cloths rustling and his arm reach over the top and with a wet plap dropped his wet cloths on my head.

"What the-Penny!?"

"There Cinderella you know what to do." I heard a chuckle and he dropped his shoes beside me.

"You better be glad I love you IT!" I felt a grin.

"I'm sure is the other way girl...wanna float? Keep it up. " His tone of voice I knew he was teasing me. I get his cloths in the washer and I went to make sure I got them and they was gone!? What the hell ? I walk back and Penny was dressed and in my bed eyes closed .

"How did....wait you used a illusion so I would leave you alone I never had your cloths..." That ass grinned and a dark chuckle sounded from his throat.

" You caught on fast kitten." He was starting to fall asleep and thankfully he was healing.

"Rest Penny see you when you wake up and I will have you food."

"Look forward to it...."

I dream super vividly too, and it's always intrigued me. Also, whenever I have nightmares with demons (I have a lot of demons/evil spirit dreams too) they're ALWAYS black and white. The really bad ones make me have panic attacks in my sleep though, bad enough that it wakes my husband up. :(

oh my god that all sounds terrifying :// mine are all humanoids that morph into monsters/demons and its always that ive seen a few repeated things too makes me feel like im being stalked or watched ive had them for so long that i dont even think about it they are bright and vivid w so many colours sometimes its just like real life w something stalking me idk

Random fact:Okay! This my make some feel uneasy, so read the rest ONLY if you wish to. So, a few years ago I tried to climb a tree to grab my flannel. I succeeded, but promptly fell, and my leg got impaled by one of the lower branches. I had to pull my leg off and with the help of my sister and some kind strangers, I was able to get the bleeding to stop and get to a hospital. I still have the rather large scar from it to this day.
