GENERAL

likes tickling. not embarrassed about it at all though- he’s just a guy. like, he can say the word no problem. however when he’s BEING tickled, he gets really really embarrassed! Tickle aliens are a given for the show and its ridiculous delivery sites, sooo he might have encountered some, alongsides his coworkers/friends and they COULD’VE been on a tickle planet of sorts

AS A LEE

When teased, he is a liiiiitle flustered... But pretends to be more than he is. Avery nonchalant lee. Will say "it tickles" a lot, even repeating it multiple times without any hesitation.Bad spots are knees, ribs and stomach, which is frequently poked. He also has ticklish hands canonically, and absolutely melts when they are traced. The galactic gang enjoys his reactions to tickles and exploit it when they can. Leela rarely does, while Amy and Bender are more likely. He’s also a huge gentle tickling fan, like- soft strokes and laying on a lap? Heaven. 

LER

fry the type of mf to give his friends visits to the tickle monster, more specifically Leela. Bender can’t feel shit and tbh he scares me. He is such a friendly ler and extremely open to saying the forbidden t-word to his friends, and he always gets tickled or teased back tenfold.

Sumarry:

Hyun Cha is a reclusive high-school student who spends his days holed up in his room playing video games. But when he lolses his entire family in a tragic car accident, he if forced to leave his home and carefree lifestyle and move into a new apartment all by himself. However, his pesky neighbors and lack of money soon become the least of his worries as people around him suddenly bein to turn into horrifying monsters, plunging the world into apocalyptic chaos.

The situation takes a turn for the worse when Hyun realizes that he himself is slowly turning into a monster, while a mysterious voice in his head grows louder and louder. With his time running out, Hyun must work together with his fellow tenants to uncover the cause of the outbreak and find a way to survive in this hopeless new world, all the while fighting to retain his humanity.

My Rating: 9

My Opinion:

This is just such a gripping binge read. For real though, my fingers were tapping and scrolling like crazy to see what happens next.

Despite being full color the action didn't suffer either, which is a big problem I have with fully colored comics. Like in manga you have those speed lines and can go a bit more abstract to make you feel the impact of every punch. Fully colored comics often compromise dynamic and exageration for their color. This isn't an issue in series that don't have a lot of action but for things like the avatar comics it really shows. Here you still have that effect through a lot of motion blurr and speed lines still being present so that you still feel the impact of everything.

The action, of course, isn't the only amazing thing about Sweet Home. What kept me engaged was mostly the character, the incredible development of the main character as well as the constant "ok, but how are they gonna make it out alive?"

The only thing I would have wanted the story didn't give me were some quiet moment between the characters where they share little moments of wholesomeness in this tragedy. It would have gotten me a lot more attached to them and would have made feel a lot more when some of them died or made it out alive.

Recommended to:

Fans of apocalypse stories, suspense stories, basically everyone except those who want something cute, wholesome or a power fanatasy. (Nothing against you guys, btw. Ily. Just don't grab Sweet Home if you are in the mood for that stuff, it won't satisfy that itch.)
