Posted @withregram • @therhymingone A struggle I’m sure we can all relate to amidst the trying throes of parenting❤️ “I don’t want to snap and I don’t want to fight. I want everything to just be ‘alright’. But, these sure are waters never waded before. And I know that it’s not our intention to war. Yet, that is quite often the way that it seems, as we struggle to hear above all of their screams the unspoken words that we’re shouting inside. When I said I was fine: I’m sorry. I lied. I guess what I meant was that I really miss the way that WE were before, well, all of ‘this’: This chaos, this whirlwind, this turbulent time. Each day is ‘survival’. There’s no space that’s mine. It’s all about them, as it should be in ways, but it was US before them, and I miss that some days. So, when I snap at you to ‘get this’ or ‘go there’, Be patient with me, and please know that I care about them, about us, more than you’ll ever know.
