I don’t knoooowww, I’m still not sold on Wang Zhi... I love that he’s such a nuanced character with his devotion to the Noble Consort but being a bit of a evil schemer slash tortur dungeon master and I always think it’s important to have characters who aren’t your faves from the get-go or irk you to make things interesting so I’m going to sit here and let things unfold regarding Wang Zhi.

Ohhhh! That was a surprising conclusion to the case. It’s interesting tho that despite her innocence in the poisening of the poor little boy the Noble Consort has still blood on her hands so it’s kind of interesting to see the double standard portrayed in that case because of court rules.

Loved that Jia Kui pulled the ‘I could tell you but then I have to kill you card’ on Sui Zhou :D

OH MAN. okay for one, they don’t have NEARLY as many scenes together as they should imho; and for two, all of the scenes they DO have are just wonderful??? bjm is an awkward sweetie pie and i love every scene he’s in!!! but alright, my all time favorite scene is near the end of the season when bjm is in his pajamas looking all sleepy and knocks on luo fei’s door and is like pretty please can i spend the night?? and luo fei takes one look at his face and CAVES. and there’s the heavy implication that there’s ONLY ONE BED!! AHHH, LOVE LOVE LOVE IT.

They’re both just so sweet?? Like, they’re both kind of socially awkward in their own ways, but they’re so very sincere in all their thoughts and feelings!! The only problem is that they’re not actually very emotionally aware, from what i can tell. So like, they’re all “i acknowledge that i’m experiencing an Emotion but i lack the data necessary to determine what this Emotion is...” So while they might not REALIZE how fond they are of one another (and their good friend qxm) they are quick to act on that fondness regardless. THEY WOULD TAKE SUCH GOOD CARE OF EACH OTHER, I JUST KNOW IT.

🌽 which one is more affectionate ? do they each have a different way of what they consider to be affection ? 

BJM seems to be very very particular about physical contact. iirc, it’s actually mentioned in the show that he doesn’t like it? BUT HE LETS LUO FEI TOUCH HIM WHENEVER. HE’S NEVER ONCE SHIED AWAY FROM LUO FEI AT ALL. Luo Fei is definitely more in for the physical affection; he doesn’t hesitate to get himself close to the people he likes or keep his distance from people he doesn’t like. bjm, otoh, shows his affection in other ways, i think. he is quick to help luo fei; he likes to spend free time with luo fei; he likes having luo fei in his comfort zones. this is how he shows us that luo fei is important to him. He doesn’t really do this for anyone else (except for qxm but this is qxm, who could ever possibly deny her anything? NOT ME, that’s for sure)

I’m gonna say BOTH of them do this. Mostly bc both of them are Nerds who can get really wrapped up in whatever it is they’re doing, which gives each of them PLENTY of time to quietly, lovingly observe the other with their whole heart in their eyes and a stupidly fond smile on their faces.

I think it's so sad that there is this ~rivalry between sope and ym shippers (although somehow only sope shippers seem to see it like that, ym shippers are in general pretty chill lol). I mean, hobi, jm, and yg are all so close with each other! haha well I don’t know if I’d call piers/leon a popular ship (yet!) but it’s so delightful to see other people who enjoy the pair too, who interact with whatever I put out there. and who produce content for it. it hasn’t been singlehanded, a huge shoutout to @lovelyleons who is my partner in crime with this pair, and @tatsueli who has made great art of them! 💖 but trust me I am amazed how we’ve gotten from like three fics in the ao3 tag to over thirty and from no art at all to quite a bit of amazing art! :D

THE ORIANNA THING.... WOW. i still can't believe during that whole dinner sitdown scene we BARELY GET TO TALK TO DETLAF... but we can talk to ORIANNA.. Yay!!!!!! Lets NOT talk to our antagonist????? 

they really tried to emphasize that dettlaff was simply misled or justified in his actions but only through the word of regis, whose relationship with him was undefined and underdeveloped ... it’s simply mentioned that resurrection is a feat that causes one vampire to not only owe them their life but share a psuedo-familial bond with them ... and in the special scene with regis you can learn that he knew dettlaff when he was younger and dettlaff advised him moderation... but that’s IT... and regis is doing ALL of the dialogue for dettlaff which is not only doing dettlaff a great disservice, but... 

it’s cruel how cdpr just butchered the ‘humans create their own monstrosities, humans are monsters’ theme that sapkowski’s works utilized and replaced it with just no :) monsters are just monsters :) ... even though he’s getting 60% of the dialogue in this DLC, it’s a slap in the face to regis, who represented this theme ... the “epitome of humanity” is a vampire, who could have thought? but cdpr comes in with, oh, just kidding -- literally every other single vampire is super evil stupid bestial or just plain dumb and regis ALSO has a stupid bestial side and we’re gonna play the whole thing up for tone deaf drama :) and not show any nuance to any of the other vampires :) they’re ALL evil except for regis who never did anything wrong :))

fucking hurts to see such despicable antagonists from the books, like bonhart and vilgefortz and emhyr -- all humans and all monsters -- be categorized in the same manner as dettlaff, who got no development, was plain as “a monster is a monster is a monster” and was pretty much one-dimensional as being obsessed with syanna... 

i hate seeing boss battles of dettlaff because to me it felt like putting down a sick dog lol... just putting him out of his misery...

and everyone knoooowwws i loooveee these vampires but if the story goes against literally all of the themes we’ve been introduced that surround regis & the vamps i don’t think this story should have been created in the first place.

Honestly i hadn’t thought about these two for ages before i started thinking about this list, but these two were the first wlw couple that i remember seeing, like, well, anywhere and i am extremely grateful!! (also they are hot)

I know Echo is only a toddler and Avalon and Cyprus need to have at least one more baby...but I love her so much and I want to make her heir,lol. But my rule so far has been the oldest child of the opposite gender of the last heir will be heir. So we started with Gwyn,then had Lupin,then Holly,then Julius,then Avalon. So if Avalon has a boy next,according to my own rules that I chose,he would be heir. I chose to do this because I tend to gravitate more toward my female Sims and I didn’t want to just have all female heirs.

But...Echo D: She’s just so damn cute and when she aged up from a baby,I didn’t have to touch her genetics like I’ve had to do with previous kids. She had her mom’s hair and eye color (well,one of them,lol) and her dad’s skin color.I just feel a connection with her,ya know? I felt the same way toward Avalon when she was a toddler,lol. Maybe it’s just because Echo is her daughter? I don’t knoooowww...I mean it’s not like I’m forced to follow my own rules,right? :P

Maybe I’ll end up doing an heir poll after the next baby/babies is born and let you guys decide for me if I end up not being able to decide...

Just my life right now

So i don’t even know if anyone will read this because i don’t have followers, but i’m posting this as motivation for myself and i’m hoping future-Caroline will look back on this post and use it as inspiration to not be like who i was before.

So this isn’t my first go-around with anamia, but it like kinda went away for a bit but not really and now its back. Like every time i ate it was always in the back of my mind, so i guess it never left, but now i’m appreciating it more. I’m fat. I know i’m fat. I know i’m ugly. I know i have acne. I know i’m not pretty. I knoooowww ok. Mom and anna and tj and my friends and everyone i have & will ever meet think that. Yall i get it. I wont eat anymore i know.

I’m just really pissed right now at everything because of today. This day is not going well. First, i made my schedule to the wrong major and had to contact my advisor about it. Second, work wasnt fun & i got sprayed with water. Plus i ate a handful of chocolate chips, 7 veggie straws, 6 gummy bears, and a spray of whipped cream. Third i ate ihop with duncan, mitchell, and kaylee (which i had a blt with minestrone soup at) which made me want to throw up. I did when i got home and i was supposed to go to little 5 with anna later. I was like hey lets go and we got nit picky with each other (i stepped on something that was on the floor) and she said “you’re too fat to see it” like thanks lol sorry i was LITERALLY just throwing up in the bathroom peace out thanks bro. Then i went back to the bathroom to finish what i started. I just dont want to eat anymore. All this weight watcher stuff is a good excuse though at least. My mom signed me up for it and nags me about it and everything.

Pretty much what i’m tryna show from this is that when i come home from college, i’m going to be 99. Before i said 100, but 2 digits is enough. I’m done. When i’m at college, no one will tell me to eat & i will be happy. Everything is going to work my way and thats exciting!
