Stain Me (Loki x Female Reader Drabble)
Just a quick drabble inspired by the song Holy Water by Zippermouth. This is only my second time ever posting any writing on Tumblr so sorry if it’s kind of bad or rubbish 😅
~~~~~~
Loki looked up at the woman hovering above him, her fingertips caressing and tracing every line, ever scar, every shadow of muscular definition on his bare torso. She inspected his form like he was a priceless art piece, with her gaze so fond and warm he thought he could burn up in her eyes. He felt so overwhelmed with emotion, to be doted upon and admired so earnestly, that he would surely be punished for it. It had to be some kind of sin, for someone as marred and dirty as him, to have won the affections of one so pure.
“Don’t…” he uttered softly, his hands trembling almost imperceptibly as he reached for his lover’s wrists, halting her movements.
Her eyes snapped to his, filled with confusion and concern. Concern. Concern for one so unredeemable as him. It was too much to bear.
“What?” she questioned. The fear that she had overstepped some sort of boundary shone plain as day on her features. “Loki, what’s wrong?”
He let out a shaking breath, tense shoulders shuddering as he exhaled. “You don’t want this,” he told her. “You do not want me.”
She cocked her head innocently, signalling she did not understand. The God could read her like a book, and he could virtually see the thoughts that would be whirring through her mind at that moment. Have I not shown you otherwise? Is this not enough? How can I love you more? How can I prove my love to you? Silly girl, if only she knew of the wretched acts he had wrought in his time, the pain and suffering he had caused, she would see the error in choosing him to love.
Of course, Loki knew she was aware of his past transgressions. There were few who had not heard tale of his evil deeds. But surely she did not truly comprehend the magnitude of his blackened past. For if she did, there was no way she would have given her heart to him as she had chosen.
“My dear heart,” he continued, his thumbs tracing gentle circles on the inner side of her wrists, “I am not a creature you wish to align yourself with. I am…” he swallowed the lump in his throat. “I am damaged, corrupted. You, who are nothing but kind and good, should not dirty yourself with the likes of me. If you are the holiest, most crystal clear of waters, then I am not but a murky, muddy pool, stained with the blood of my sins. You should not-” his words were silenced as she placed her lips upon his in a kiss that was hard and urgent, one which she did not pull away from for several seconds.
When she finally released his lips, her eyes were dark, swirling with something Loki could not quite place. For the first time, she was unreadable. “Do not preach to me of what I should or should not do, O God of Mischief,” she told him firmly, her voice deep and sultry with a passion the God had never before seen. She placed her hands upon his face, delicate fingertips caressing his sharp cheekbones. “I have chosen with which waters I wish to bathe. I would rather drown within your pool than dare to swim in any other.”
He took pause to gaze into her eyes, searching for any hint of hesitation, even the smallest of embers that would suggest she was not strong in her conviction. He found none.
“You may never be clean again,” he warned her in a husky timbre.
She merely smiled, her lips ghosting over his as she uttered two words. “Stain me.”
Loki was stunned into silence, his lover taking the moment to kiss him again with heated fervency, a kiss that led into a long night of irrepressible need and unbridled passion.
Perhaps if he were destined to burn within her love, then she was destined to drown in his.
All It Took Was A Tem-Pad
Pairing: Loki Laufeyson x reader
Fandom: Marvel
Warnings: mutual pining, LOKI SERIES SPOILERS (slight), FLUFF,
Word Count: 555
A/N: Enjoy the 400 follower spoil-fest! Yes, this is inspired by that adorable scene from The Little Rascals. I do not regret it one bit. I hope you all enjoy this. Thank you so much for all the love and support. I appreciate you all so much. Feedback is always welcome and appreciated!
Summary: After many many years apart, Loki and you are finally reunited.
Tumblr media
(gif not mine!)
"Mother, mother, can I please, please make a toast?!" Loki whispered harshly to his mom, his small hands grabbing at her dress and tugging on it.
Frigga looked down at the young boy beside her, smiling widely at him, "About what, Loki?"
"(Y/n)!" Loki smiled, darting a look at the slightly younger child across from him, "Please, mother! I want to thank them for joining us on this picnic!"
Frigga smiled, knowing that with only her, Loki, Thor, you, and your mother, Loki couldn't possibly get in any real trouble for whatever he had up his sleeve. Simply, she nodded, watching at Loki quickly sat up straighter and cleared his throat loudly.
"I want to make a toast!" Loki spoke confidently, raising his juice box, "To the person, I adore the most, in all the realms. I can't wait to spend my life with you..."
Your eyes widen, shaking your head furiously as your cheeks blaze red. You're begging in your head silently, terrified of Loki's next words. There's not a single doubt in your eight-year-old mind that you love Loki and wish to spend the rest of your life with him. But the idea of both of your mother's finding out terrifies you.
"(Y/n!)"
You quickly cover your face with your hands, unable to hide your large smile at Loki's public exclamation of love. Your mothers clink their glasses and gush about how adorable the two of you are while Thor pretend gags as Loki smiles widely at you. Your eyes meet, and the next words fall from your lips effortlessly.
⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅∙∘☽༓☾∘∙•⋅⋅⋅•⋅⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅
"You buffoon!"
You swat at Loki's chest, staring up at the man towering above you, wearing khaki-colored slacks and a grey button-down shirt, "What did you do now!? W-what was that glowy portal-esque thing? How are you even here!? I watched Thanos kill you! H-how!?"
Words catch in your throat as tears cloud your eyes, Loki pulling you into his chest. Soft cries leave your lips as you grasp onto him, hoping for this to be real instead of a dream.
"I return to you, and the first thing you do is call me a buffoon," Loki chuckled, kissing the top of your head, "I missed you too, darling."
A laugh tumbles from your lips, passing through your tears, and suddenly you're glad you didn't stick with Thor. You're glad you escaped to your own place in the remote mountains. Despite the hundreds of questions forming in your head, you can only focus on Loki, here in your arms.
"I adore you the most, Loki."
"Love, you know that's not true since I adore you the most."
You shake your head, pulling back and kissing Loki fiercely. So many years have passed, so many years were wasted. You want to know how, and why, and when, but all you can think about is quenching your need for the man you'd been starved of. It'd been too long since you held Loki in your arms, and you vowed you'd never let go again.
"Loki?"
"Hmm?"
"How'd you actually get here?"
"Let's just say," Loki pulled back, cupping your cheeks and smiling at you, "All it took was a Tem-pad."
"A what?"
"We have a lot of catching up to do."
You nodded, muttering one word before diving back in for another kiss, "Certainly."
The sound of Ravonna’s heels hitting the floor could be heard by the minutemen guarding the door. Which was also greeted with her throwing open the door to the time theater.
With swift words Ravonna speaks, “Leave us.”
The two men made synced movements while walking out of the room, per her request. Ravonna walked slowly towards the wall as the doors closed behind her. As she approached the correct wall she took out her replacement TemPad.
She typed in a code, before the wall opened up to reveal the ‘gone rouge’ minuteman. Hunter B-15.
The hunter looked up at the judge. Her skin tinted with the redness surrounding the cell she was locked in. A scowl on her face and a glare to match, “Why am I locked in here?”
Ravonna returned her glare with a blank expression not even fazed, “You set the Variant free. You were disloyal to the TVA-”
“Disloyal?”
“Did you think you’d escape punishment?” Ravonna continued.
“Disloyal to who?” B-15 pressed on. “You were in the Time-Keepers chambers. They weren’t real.”
“And you think that changes anything?”
“That changes everything! The people need to know the truth,” B-15 exclaimed.
“No, the TVA needs stability. And until we can figure out what’s going on, that is what it will get.” Raonna took a breath and changed her tone, “So you will tell me everything you know about the Variant.”
“What exactly do you want from me?” B-15 asked, her voice done. She didn’t want to speak to Ravonna anymore.
“You have a link with the Variant. I want you to tell me what drives her.” Ravonna got to the point. She wants to take this mistake down, and she wants to do it now.
“Revenge drives her. Killing the Time-Keepers, but they turned out to be fake, in case you’ve forgotten. So she’ll be searching for whomever created them.” Ravonna downcasted her eyes. B-15 looked at her expression and scoffed. “This isn’t about protecting the TVA at all, is it?”
“That doesn’t really sound like revenge, that sounds like spite.” Ravonna spoke, changing the topic. She didn’t want the ex-Hunter to find out her real reason for wanting to know.
“Don’t you remember?” B-15 inquired. Another scoff laid behind her lips.
“Remember what? What are you babbling about?” Ravonna interrogated.
“The person we took from her. The only thing a Loki can have, their person.” B-15 explained. “And we killed them, to get to her. She’ll find them first.”
“And why is that?”
“Because you only want it. She needs it.” A smirk was the last thing Ravonna saw on ex-Hunter B-15’s face as the doors closed again.
Her angry footsteps were heard in the halls and she spoke to Miss Minute. Motivation seeping into every bone in her body.
~In the Void~
As the Lokis and Mobius sat in their makeshift shelter Classic Loki asked Mobius if he remembered all of them.
“You really don’t remember him?” He pressed, Alligator Loki gave a small growl.
“I mean, the TVA arrested a lot of Lokis, but, no I don’t remember an alligator.” Mobius divulged, “Who’s to say that he is a Loki Variant. Just a long con, which makes him more likely a Loki. Always the game within the game with you guys. I respect that.”
“Mobius,” Kid Loki called with a bit of hesitation in his voice, “when you get back to the TVA what will you do?”
“I don’t know,” Mobius sighed, “I’d like for the people to know the truth.”
“So just like that, you’ll turn your back on something that you’ve devoted your whole life to.” Classic asked.
“It’s never too late to change.” Mobius voiced, his tone soft. It reminded the Lokis of someone.
“Just like my Julie-Rose.” Classic reminisced.
“Who’s that?” Mobius wondered. He’s studied everything about a Loki, but nowhere did it talk about a person.
“Oh? Don’t you remember?” Classic asked, but the look on Mobius’ face made him continue nonetheless, “It's destiny, something written in the stars. The only thing that a Loki can have that is good, their person. The one who will always be by their side.”
Mobius looked on at Kid Loki with an expression asking him to elaborate more. Kid Loki sighed and continued where Classic left off. “The girl, boy, or other that is made for us. In simple terms our soulmate. Someone we are given, that the TVA can’t take away.”
Mobius nodded, understanding the special person. He silently wonders why the files in the TVA don’t talk about this person. The Loki’s only good.
Classic began to remember his person. How sweet she was. “My Julie-Rose found me on the planet I was on. She was the only one to keep me sane. We spent our years together, but she was normal. She died. And I was alone once more. When I was finally ready to leave, the TVA showed up.”
Mobius listened to him, the urge to learn more about a Loki still strong. Kid spaced out, trying to remember everything about his boy. His face becoming foggy, like a distant memory.
“I didn’t even tell him that I liked him.” His voice was soft, “He always told me that I was made for great things, that we were going to be side-by-side forever. But I was the idiot who killed Thor and thought I could get away with it. I never got to tell him. And I barely remember what he looks like.”
Kid’s eyes glistened with unshed tears. The millisecond of pain and weakness almost missed by Mobius. He never knew that a Loki could feel this much pain, that they had a weakness and no one could know about it.
Alligator Loki growled from his place on the floor. A few seconds later Classic spoke again, “He says that his person was going to be his queen. But he made a mistake, and then she was gone. He could never return.”
Kid shifted his gaze from the burning fire to outside their shelter. Tired of trying to remember his face. And his smile. And the way his eyes crinkled when he laughed. More tears built up, but he didn’t let it waver his voice, “I hope they know what they're doing.”
“Mobius is so bad.” Sylvie stated as she and Loki sat outside in the cold wind. Her knees pulled up to her chest to gain as much warmth as possible.
Loki beside her, taking in the cold winds, wishing for their warmth, “Or so good. I think that’s why we get along.”
“He cares about you.” A shiver ran up her spine, the warmth she carved already a distant memory. She looked over at him, and he returned her stare.
A gust of wind blew through, causing the both to shiver some more. Loki rubs his arm trying to reject the cold, while Sylvie embraces it. Like an old friend.
“It’s cold out here.”
“Mmm-hmm.”
They both sat there, in silence, before Loki conjured himself a green and gold blanket. Sylvie stared at the blanket, a small smile present on her lips.
“I could conjure one up for you, if you like.” He offered the same small smile on his face.
“I’m alright, I don’t mind the cold,” She revealed, “but a new outfit would be grand, this one is very uncomfortable.”
The wind blew through again. It embraced Sylvie again, the cold being accepted. Loki looked at her from the corner of his eye, a thought that has bugged him for a while refusing. “You’ve never told me the real reason behind taking down the TVA.”
“What?”
“Well you’ve said that you want to take down the Time-Keepers, and it sounds like revenge. But all they did was take you when you were a girl. I don’t see a lot of motive here.” Loki looked at the woman next to him. She was gazing at the distance. Her eyes held the same look his did, when he watched his life on a screen. When he saw them.
“I wasn’t always alone. I had a partner, but the TVA took them from me.” She started, “We were running together, he found me while I was traveling through apocalypses. Wouldn’t leave my side. Turns out he was a Variant too, but got away just in time.
“It was just the two of us, we ran through apocalypse after apocalypse. We stole rest charges together. Our plan was to cause the total panic to sneak in and kill the Time-Keepers. But we got trapped, surrounded by minutemen. He gave me the TemPad, told me to run. Let himself get caught.
“I hid for three days. Waiting for him to appear again. Waiting for the minutemen to show, but no one came. He died for me, and alone I was again. No one but myself to rely on.” a breeze, a bit calmer from the other ones brushed against Sylvie’s cheek, like a kiss.
Loki looked at her with sadness in his eyes. He was taken from his partner, he never really returned home. He never got to see their smiling face, he never got to hear their praises. He didn’t even get a kiss for his return.
He conjured the blanket to wrap around Sylvie, having them share. She grabbed her end and pulled it closer. Accepting the warmth.
“We were supposed to be wed on my return.” Loki began, “A nice little wedding, just us a few friends and Thor was going to officiate it. Just something the two of us could reminisce while setting up for the much bigger wedding for the whole of Asgard to see.
“They never liked being a royal, just wanted us to be happy and together. Nevertheless, they did it to make me happy. They would’ve done anything for me. And I was trying to take over the world for them. To have a throne fit for two rulers.
“But I failed. And when I tried to return to them, I became stranded. Then the TVA came. Took me away. Showed me the life I would’ve had if I just stayed there. Showed me my death, but also showed me my spouse. And our children. And our life together, if I just stayed there.” Regret started to build up in Loki’s voice.
‘Why couldn’t I have just stayed there.’
“Then we do this for them.” Her words shocked both of them, “And maybe there will be a timeline for us...”
“To finally be happy.” Loki finished.
“Yeah, to finally be happy.”
Both of their minds filled with pleasant memories. Happy memories. The times they wish to be in again.
The small group stood on the edge of a cliff staring at Alioth. Sylvie explains the plan. She then gave the TemPad to Loki, expecting him to use it.
“I’m staying.” He declared before handing it to Mobius.
“There is no way that this will work-” Sylvie tried to reason.
“If you're doing this, then I’m doing this.” Loki cut her off, “Besides, they aren’t waiting for me. No one is.”
“It’s happening guys, the branch will be right there.” Kid pointed out, his machine sounding off.
Mobius made a Timedoor. Ready to leave. “I’ll give your regards to Reinslayer.”
“Oh, please do.” Sylvie said amused.
Mobius then turned to the three other Variants, “You boys want a ticket out of here.”
“What? No, we’re staying here.” Kid said quickly.
“This is our home.” Classic agreed.
“You sure? What about Alioth?” Loki pressed.
“We survived this long. We know what we’re doing.” Classic explained.
“You’ve said it yourself. He isn’t waiting for me. No one is.” Kid spoke again, looking at Loki. “You’re going to need this for your journey.”
Kid then conjured up a blade. Laevateinn. With care Loki grabbed the blade, and made a sheath to hold it on his back.
“Good luck. I hope you find what you’re looking for.” Loki nodded in appreciation. The group of three split off, going to do their part of the task.
Mobius made his way towards the door, before exchanging words with the two Variants that changed his life.
“Looks like you got away in the end.”
“I always do.” Loki stated. Sad to see his friend leave. “What will you do to the TVA?”
“Burn it to the ground.” Mobius said without hesitation. Which received looks of approval from the two Variants. “Thanks for the spark. Well, see you later Loki.”
Loki looked at Mobius’ hand, before pulling him into a hug, “Thank you, my friend.” Looking over Loki’s shoulder he whispered to Sylvie, “You’re my favorite.”
They release one another and Mobius walks through the Timedoor, closing behind him. Leaving the two Variants alone on the cliff. They stared at the enemy, ready to face it.
As the two approached the branch readying to face it, Loki ran off to cause a distraction, the branch taking too long. Sylvie started to enchant it, but Alioth shifted it’s attention to Sylvie, going to stop her from taking over.
Loki ran over yelling at the beast. Trying to get it away from Sylvie before a green light shone.
There on the other side of Alioth was Classic Loki, producing an illusion of Asgard, so real that Alioth went towards it. The urge to consume it is great. But one thing about the illusion, is that there is a tiny cottage a few paces where Classic was standing. It looked warm and new, like someone kept it from becoming old. Like an old home.
Loki met up with Sylvie looking as their old home was being made right in front of them. Just like they remembered.
“GO!” Classic’s yell echoed towards the two. Sylvie grabbed Loki’s hand, he looked at her with surprise.
“What are you doing?” He yelled.
“We are going to enchant it.”
“I don’t know how.” He stated, insecurity started to peek through.
“Yes you do because we are the same.” She encouraged. Sylvie walked them towards Alioth.
Alioth had gone straight for the tall Asgardian palace, but it disappeared before he could eat it. He then went for another building but it disappeared too.
Classic struggled to keep the image, his strength not as strong as it was before. Soon Alioth surrounded Asgard and it began to fall, like it did before.
Sylvie interlaced their fingers. Encouraging Loki more. His hand started to glow, enchanting it too.
Classic falls to his knees. The Asgard replica disappeared faster as Alioth went towards the source. The cottage disappeared slower than the rest. Like it was burning down in a fire, taking its time to become destroyed.
Classic stood once more, trying to use his magic again. “Glorious Purpose!” He yelled, laughing at the end. The cottage now gone, tears in his eyes. One long thought before meeting his demise.
‘Together again, my Julie-Rose.’
Then he was gone, only his helmet remained, rusted and old. Alioth turned quickly, heading towards the other threats. Roaring at them.
Sylvie closed her eyes, concentrating harder. Loki followed suit. And in that moment, time seemed to stop for the both of them. They weren’t in danger anymore, they were safe.
Sylvie felt a hand rub against her naked back. The soft sheets trapped the warmth that his body provided. She sighed at the comfort. His heart beat music to her ears. Light kisses pressed to her head and temple.
“So strong, very, very strong.” He whispered, not wanting to ruin the mood of their little bubble, “So I know that you got this. I have total faith in you.”
Sylvie moved her head back and looked at his face. His hazel eyes staring back at her. The millions of freckles scattered across his face were invisible  in the dim lighting. His black hair is messy, and his pink lips are still swollen. She teared up, now able to see his face much more clear.
“So beat this damn thing, and come find me again. My Sylvie.”
Her magic came out stronger.
A warm breeze moved some of his hair. The warm sun on his skin was welcoming. Loki’s normal armor discarded for more comfortable clothing. A field of flowers and grass in his view, trees swaying this the breeze that’s blowing through.
Gently an object is placed on his head, and a giggle fills his ears. Y/n moves over into his view. A flower crown on their head as well.
“You look marvelous, my love.” Their tone light. Soft. Warm. Just like the breeze.
“As do you, darling.” Loki responded with a smile resting on his lips. He held out his arms, Y/n moved closer to him, resting on his chest and looking out at the fields of flowers and grass.
“Thank you.”
“For what my dear?” Y/n asked. Turning their body to face Loki.
“For choosing me.”
“I will always choose you. You know why?” They asked, even though they had no intention to let him answer. “Because you are fearless. You are brave. You are loyal. You are strong. Because you are Loki. And my Loki is loved, my Loki is handsome and beautiful, my Loki is human. My Loki can do anything.”
Tears welled up in his eyes. The love radiating off of them is too much for him. They lifted their hand and wiped off the tears that fell without his knowledge. He leaned into their touch.
“I love you so much, Y/n.” Loki’s voice soft.
“And I love you.” They pulled him into a kiss, sweet and passionate. “Now, get that beast. And come find me.”
His magic came out stronger too.
As their enchantment combined Alioth froze in the air. It's dark clouds are now lightened with green.
Sylvie opened her eyes first, a strong exhale left her lips. She looked over at Loki, his eyes still closed. A tear rolling down softly.
“Open your eyes.” She requested. Slowly he opened his eyes, and saw what he did. Saw what they did.
Former Alioth’s clouds parted ways revealing a castle of some kind. It looked old and abandoned. Sylvie looked at Loki, Loki looked at her. The two shared a nob and walked forward. Hand in hand.
One long thought as they approached their next challenge.
‘I will find you.’
In a Crowd of Thousands
Loki x Gender Neutral!Reader, set in between Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok. Loki is currently pretending to be Odin.
Word Count: 1,744
Contains: Reunions, Threats of Violence, Angst?, Fluff?
Inspiration: In a Crowd of Thousands from Anastasia.
As the child of one of Vanaheim’s two senators, you were expected to make appearances with your mother often- or as often as an 8-year-old would allow. People weren’t exactly expecting you to appear at every signing of a bill into law, but they were expecting to see you at fun things. The kind of events that kids dream of taking a part of, or at least look up at in wonder. This was one of those events: a parade celebrating the over thousand-year peace between Asgard and Vanaheim, cemented when Frigga and Odin were married.
You sat high on a carriage, next to your mother. You were dressed in fine Vanheimian silks, enshrouding your body and making a hot summer that much more unbearable. You began to fuss with the sleeves on your outfit when you took notice of something odd. A small child, extremely disheveled and dirty, staring directly at you from the crowd.
As your carriage moved by, you saw him begin to move, trying to catch up with you. The guards spot him, but they can’t catch him. He is able to dodge them and escape from the crowd into the parade. He begins to run towards you, shouting your name the whole time. Your mother realizes this boy is very persistent and elects to stop the carriage so that he doesn’t get run over by it. You smile at him as he bows. The guards finally catch up to him and take him away, and you wave goodbye to him as he is dragged away kicking. The parade starts up again, and you continue on the rest of your day thinking about that day.
You still think about that day now and then- even a thousand years later. Not much has changed since then- your homeworld is still a democracy, run by two main senators. The only real difference is the people in power- now, one of them is you. It’s your first term as a Senator, though you’ve had a lot of experience in the local politics of your homeworld. Unfortunately, that’s not very helpful when it comes to politicking with leaders of the other Nine Realms. The last time you left Vanheim, and subsequently met any kind of leader outside your own world, was that parade. But now, you're going back.
Five years had passed since Frigga was killed by the Dark Elf Algrim. The peace between Asgard and Vanheim was as strong as it ever was, but the people of Vanheim were weary. To appease your people, and to ensure that the peace remained strong, yearly visits to Asgard were implemented. It was more for keeping up appearances than anything, but you had been warned by your predecessor had informed you this usually came with in-depth philosophical discussions.
You knew something was off as soon as you arrived. You were not greeted by Heimdall. Instead, some man named Skurge had welcomed you. You might have been a child when you were last here, but you distinctly remembered the Bifrost Bridge being more colorful, shining more brilliantly, and having less stuff littering it. By the time you make it to the throne room, you are thoroughly convinced some trickery is afoot. The person pretending to be Odin, sitting atop his throne confirms this.
You can tell right away that it’s not Odin. Your people are one of old magic and trickery, and this is an obvious example of a well-crafted, almost perfected glamour. But you can see through the cracks. The puzzle now is figuring out who is pretending to be Odin- without causing the people of Asgard to panic at the fact their ruler is not who he says he is.
“Greetings, Senator Y/N of Vanheim. Welcome to Asgard. I trust your journey here went smoothly.” The false king states.
You bow your head in keeping with tradition. “Greetings, Odin, All-father, Protector of the Nine Realms. My journey was safe and swift, and I am thankful to have the honor to be in your presence once more.”
“You honor me, Senator, with your respect for my right as King. Come now, let us dine together.” You raise your head again and begin following the false Odin into the dining room.
Thankfully, another part of the tradition is for Odin to eat dinner with the Senator of Vanheim alone upon their arrival in Asgard. Which gives you the perfect opportunity to figure out who is masquerading behind the facade of Odin. As soon as you are alone together, you make your first move: Undoing the magic being done to pretend to be Odin. You are unsurprised to see who it is, but something now seems eerily familiar about him that hadn’t before.
“How did you do that?” He asks, puzzled that he looks like himself again.
“What are you doing, Loki?” Your voice is sharp but quiet, careful not to alert anyone who may be trying to listen to the huge secret you’ve just unveiled.
“What does it look like I’m doing? And you haven’t answered my question.”
You take a huge deep breath and let the air flow out slowly through your mouth so you don’t immediately fly into a rage. You are still a Senator, after all. “If you had studied the magics like you had been told too, maybe you would know the answer. Now, where is Odin?” You begin walking towards him, and he walks backward to keep the distance between you.
“I have no idea.” His answer sounds honest, but you know it’s a lie. He has backed himself into a corner, and you stand in front of him, about the block him in when he teleports to the other side of the room.
“Do not test me, Prince,” You begin, conjuring a gigantic ball of flame, “Where is your father? What have you done to him?”
“Senator, please calm down. We wouldn’t want a diplomatic incident, now would we?” Loki is smirking at you, thinking he’s got you in a bind. But he doesn’t realize he’s already lost.
You glare at him and put out the flame. “See, now that wasn’t that-” His speech is interrupted by you transforming into him, and reconjuring the flame.
“Do not trifle with me, Prince. I would be more than happy to kill you and replace you if it meant no one else must suffer at your hand. Now tell me. Where is your father?”
“He’s in a retirement home on Earth.” You transform back into yourself instantly upon this revelation and put out the flame once more.
“What in his name is he doing on Earth in a retirement home?” Your anger is gone, you are just tired now. Tired of the trickery, and games. And you really just want to eat.
“I put him under a spell. Wiped his memories.” You want to cry. Your first visit back to Asgard and it’s a total disaster.
You hesitate before asking, “How long have you been at this?”
“Five years” You look up at the ceiling and bite your lip to prevent yourself from screaming. When you look back at Loki you stop biting your lip and instead smile, and clap.
Through gritted teeth you shout, “Let’s Eat!” He opens his mouth to say something, but you are done with his nonsense. You cast a spell to temporarily prevent him from speaking. He glares at you, but you ignore him. You sit down next to each other at the table and eat the dinner you had been craving since you arrived.
After you finish the meal, you reverse the spell, and tell him, “You are the luckiest Prince in the Nine Realms, Loki.”
“I wouldn’t say it’s luck. I worked pretty hard to get here.”
“Loki. You do realize that had any other Vanheimian Senator, let alone any other ruler of any of the Nine Realms, found out your secret before me, they would have killed you on the spot?”
“Then why haven’t you killed me, Senator?”
“I’d rather not have to deal with the war that will come after that. Even if I am justified, it would destabilize all the Nine Realms. I will not sacrifice millennia of peace because you decided to rule Asgard for five years.” You reply.
“I am grateful.”
“You know,” You start, and you're not sure why you’re telling him this, “I’ve been waiting a millennium to come back here. And this is what I find now that all this time has passed. A Prince playing at being King.”
“A millennium?” There is a shift in his tone as he asked.
“Yes, a millennium. I keep thinking back to the day my mother and I came here. She was a Senator at that time, and we were in a parade. There was a boy-”
“That was you?” The realization hits him first, and his whole demeanor shifts.
“What do you mean that was me?” You are in denial.
“I was that boy. The one who made you smile and got dragged away by guards- that was me.”
“Are you telling me the day I couldn’t stop thinking about for centuries, that the boy I wanted to come back and find- that was you?” You really wish this was one of his tricks, but it’s not. It’s obvious it’s not. The way he’s looking at you like he’s just rediscovered the love of his life, tells you he’s not lying.
“You couldn’t stop thinking about it either?” He asks.
“I wanted to find you again.”
“So did I.” He chuckles, “It seems ridiculous now. I spent a decade looking for you, but my mother said-”
“Don’t worry, child. You will meet again one day when the fates allow?” You finish his sentence.
“Yes, exactly.” Loki smiles at the memory of Frigga.
“So what now?” You ask.
He reaches out for your hand and you give it to him. “We make up for lost time.” He kisses you, and you kiss him back. It is the kiss of a long-lost love, full of passion and relief. Of a spouse returning from war, years after the war has ended, long since presumed to be dead. As the kiss ends, you embrace each other. You saw each other in a crowd a thousand years ago. And a thousand years from now you will be in crowds together, happily married, with the peace between your realms secured for thousands more.
Over a coffee
a/n: my first prompt ever. it was kinda of a practice on the train on my way to work but i hope you enjoy the story! please bare in mind that english is not my first language! enjoy!
warnings: none
tag: kinda fluffy(?), one-shot, lokixreader
words: 1‘970
It was early in the morning, the sun was still rising, coloring the sky and the few clouds in beautiful orange tones. You snapped a quick picture of the morning sky before getting back to your work. You weren’t exactly a morning person, what made being a barista hard sometimes but you managed. Despite working here for a year you couldn’t say you were used to the early shifts. The beautiful views you got of the sky almost every morning in the summer filled you with joy and made getting up at this early hours worth it… but this wouldn’t be the only reason you looked forward to get in to work soon. You just didn’t know yet.
„Are you done y/n?“ Sophia asked, looking at you while finishing cleaning up the counter to be ready for the shop opening. „All done!“ You exclaimed, giving her a thumbs up before putting the last chair that was placed upside down on the table on the ground.  You liked working with Sophia, she had started working at the place a few weeks prior to you and with you two being the newbies, you connected immediately. The blonde was a bubbly girl, always very talk active and almost a bit hyper. You had to admit that she could be annoying at times, especially after her two shots of espresso in the morning, but you liked her. „Perfect! I‘ll be opening the shop then!“ She answered satisfied, walking up to the door and unlocking it before turning the wooden sign on the door that said ‚closed‘ around to ‚open‘. „Here we go, ready for our first costumers!“ Sophia grinned.
The day was quiet what didn’t surprise you. It was holiday season and the usual costumers that came in early in the morning where probably on vacation. A few hours had passed where you served a few costumers, it was a rather boring day. You leaned against the counter, yawning a bit and sipping from your iced coffee before the door of the small coffee shop swung open, making the little bell resting above the door ring. Your eyes moved to the door, looking at the tall man that just entered. He wasn’t a regular, in fact, you hadn’t seen him here before. He was tall, his black suit framed his slander figure and his raven black curls were styled to the back touching his shoulders and brining out his rather pale skin. You had to admit he was.. handsome. You pushed yourself from the counter, placing your cup quickly to the side. „Good Afternoon!“ You said friendly, giving him a smile. „What can I get for you today?“ The man looked at you, his ice blue eyes resting on your face for a second before looking up to the menu that was hanging behind you. „What do you recommend..“, he looked back at you, reading the name tag on your black apron, „y/n“. He asked calmly, a small smirk appearing on his face. You didn’t know what it was that made your heart make a small jump. Maybe it was his voice, maybe the way he pronounced your name in his calm, almost daring manner. „Oh, uh..“, you stammered for a moment, „depending on what your preference is. With this heat I would recommend a cold brew with oat milk, it‘s really good and my favorite!“ you reassured him with a small, almost innocent smile. The black haired man smiled a bit before nodding. „Alright, I‘ll get that one then. I hope it is as good as you promised.“ He spoke before winking at you. It was almost like he knew his presence made you kinda nervous. „I won’t disappoint!“, you reassured him before typing in the order for him to pay. Determined to not letting him know that he had in fact an impact on your emotions you started to work on his coffee. His eyes rested on you, you could feel his gaze on your back. „Whats your name?“ You asked then, while finishing up his drink. „Loki“, he answered, „why?“. Loki tilted his head a bit. „Oh, you know, we always write the names of our costumers on the cup, so the orders don‘t get mixed up on busy days.“ You explained to him, taking the pen and holding on for a second, before writing something similar to his name down: ‚Lucky‘. „Here you go.“, you held the cup out to him with a grin. You wrote his name falsely on purpose, hoping to get a reaction from him or at least to irritate him a bit. Loki took his beverage with a small nod. Patiently you waited for a reaction. His blue eyes moved to the cup in his hands for a second before looking up again,„Have a pleasant day, y/n.“ He smirked. Without saying anything else, he left the store, leaving you irritated instead. This fucking guy, you thought to yourself, your heart still pounding.
He didn‘t come in in the next day or the day after that…
You fumbled around with a straw, lost in your thoughts and kinda upset the interaction with him a few days ago didn‘t go different. You could have asked him where he is from at least.. or for his phone number. No, you didn’t have the balls for something like that. A small sigh escaped your lips. Maybe he wouldn’t come back ever. „Are you alright?“, Sophia raised her brows, „you kinda look… pathetic.“ You snapped out of your mind before shaking your head. „Shut up Sophia, I‘m just having a few rough days.. or something.“, waving your hand a bit you signalized to her that you didn’t want to talk about it. It was stupid anyway. Did you really develop a crush on a stranger you didn’t know anything about within one small conversation? How old were you, 12? Sophia chuckled, brushing a strand of her hair behind her ear. „Alright, alright. I won‘t dig but you know, you can tell me if something is up.“, she looked at you with a small smile. „I‘ll see you tomorrow then.“, she added, taking off her apron. „Make sure to lock everything up when you close, okay?“. You nodded as a response. „Have a nice day, see you tomorrow!“, you said to her, putting on a smile.
Around 20 minutes passed until the door opened again, Loki entered the store confidently and walked up to you at the counter: „Good afternoon.“ You were obviously surprised to see him. „Good Afternoon!“, you answered, trying to hide the excitement that was building up. „Did you enjoy the cold brew?“, you managed to say. „I actually did.“, he took his wallet out of his pocket, „in fact, I would like to have another one of those.“ You smiled a bit. „Right away~!“, without further of do you started preparing the coffee for him. „Are you from this area?“, you managed to ask him, glancing over to him while you took the ice out of the freezer. Loki nodded,“I just moved here for work.“, he replied while watching you. „Have you been working here for long?“, he continues then. „Not really, unless you consider a year long.“, you replied with a small giggle. „A year is not long, at least not for me.“,  he answered with a smirk. You just smiled a bit awkwardly, finishing up and taking the pen, glancing over to him for a split second before writing down something similar to his name: ‚Lowkey‘. „Here you go, Loki.“, you handed him his drink, awaiting once more, any kind of reaction from him. Loki took his drink, immediately looking at the cup before furrowing his brows a bit. „Thank you…  Have a nice day, y/n“, he finally said looking at you with a grin before leaving the shop. You raised a brow while you watched him exiting the door. It was a small reaction but at least it was something.
This game continued for a few days, every time the god of mischief ordered a coffee from you, you misspelled his name purposely. You were slowly running out of ideas. Lucky, Lowkey, Loco, Lolli, Lockey, god damn you even wrote Lockhart on his cup one time. The only reaction you seemed to get from him was a furrowing of brows followed by a smirk that almost made you blush. You decided to give up on your stupid joke.
Another few days passed and you were by yourself again the next time he came in. The small bell above the door rung announcing the costumer. „Morning.“, you said almost a bit nervous looking at Loki. He was once again wearing a suit that framed his body perfectly. God, how could a person be this perfect?
„Good Morning, y/n“, he answered while walking up to you, a small smirk appeared on his face when he noticed your eyes on his body. „I would like the same as every time.“, he spoke confidently. You knew what be wanted; he hadn’t ordered anything different since the first time he stepped in here. „Sure thing.“, you replied, ringing up the order before grabbing a cup to prepare the beverage. Loki watched you for a moment before speaking up again: „When does your shift end?“. His eyes were resting on your back. The question caught you by surprise, making you spill the oat milk over the workspace and on your shoes. „Fuck!“, you mumbled embarrassed, feeling how your face started to turn red. You quickly grabbed a rag to clean up the mess you just made. „Until 4pm, why?“, you asked without turning around, mentally trying to get rid of the head that rested on your cheeks. The god of mischief seemed to be pleased by your answer. „I thought we could discuss how to properly write my name over dinner.“, he suggested, tilting his head a bit without taking his eyes off you. You could swear your heart made a backflip in this very moment, turning around to him in utter surprise. „Yah“, you stammered, „that would be great.“ You were still blushing, what made the god of mischief grin a bit. „Good, I‘ll pick you up after your shift then.“ He said, „see you later.“ Loki turned around to leave, stopping in place when you spoke up. „Wait, you‘re forgetting your coffee!“ You reminded him while writing his name on the cup. „That one is for you, my treat. It‘s our favorite after all.“ He answered, winking at you mischievously. „See you later, y/n“. You watched him leave in disbelief, the door closing softly behind him before you moved your eyes to the cup that was in your hand. His name written on it with a black pen: ‚Loki‘.
Being In A Secret Relationship With Loki Includes:
Tumblr media
Loki had taken a liking to you when he first met you
After you and him had convos and got to know each other, he asked you out!
Of course you accepted
Loki didn’t want the Avengers to know and mess up what he wanted to happen so badly
Bc... he actually liked you
Your first date was a night full of fun; you didn’t get home until one in the morning!
He asked you for a kiss and you kissed his cheek 😏
Loki knew that you were going to have him wrapped around you finger when you did that
After a couple more dates, you did give him the kiss he asked for
He was so happy XD
The Avengers raised a brow at his giddiness
They may have a tracker on him... just in case... y’know...
They paid you a visit
*cough cough*
You woke up in the Avenger’s place and freaked out
Loki marches in the room, looking mad at his brother and (in his words) his stupid friends
He told everyone the truth about you two
“I really like Y/N, so if this ruined it, I will never forgive any of you mewling quims!” “Loki, um, it’s fine. I mean, I don’t want to be here, but we’re fine.”
At the end of the day, you all got shawarma and the Avengers welcomed you!
The Asgardian and His Atlantean.
Chapter 4 - Going Home.
LOKI'SPOV (still)
Tony was quick to locate the entrance to Atlantis and load the Quin-jet up with suits and weapons just in case they encounter problems. I teleport you up from the medbay to the stretcher in the Jet and carefully make sure you are strapped in.
"Loki" I hear a whisper. Glancing around I notice it only myself in the area. "Loki" "Y/N? Is that you?" I turn to see if you have awaken but when I see you still unconscious I search my mind. "You have powers?" " I course I do Loki." I hear a chuckle within my head "I need to alert you to what's going to happen once you reach Atlantis."
Y/NPOV (inside Loki's head)
I have been unconscious for a while now but due to my Atlantean side my powers are keeping my mind alert. "Y/N what exactly is going to happen?"
"Once you enter the Falls of Purity, the magic within will reveal your other forms. So Bruce will be forced to become Hulk, Tony well, his suits will vanish, I will turn into my true form and you....well I know about your Jotun form."
"Wait back up Y/N your true form? Is this not you now?" "No not fully, there maybe one or two small details I haven't told the Avengers. Thor knows of course and you, you have known since the minute you met me" "Your Pendent gave it away Princess."
"I know. Same thing Thor said. We getting off track though, I know about your Frostbite. You will have to have someone else carry me." "I understand Y/N." "Thank you. For helping. Even though you area massive jerk." I chuckle
"Darling you have no idea. I do apologize for being a jerk and also evading your mind without permission."
"It's fine, it has made a mental connection between us so that we can communicate like such. Now listen to what you must do. First take me to my father, you will be stopped by the guards but show them the pendent and they should ask no questions. I will be taken away for a small while I suggest you just stay put for that time. I will have to address the reason why you have entered Atlantis. I need you to all make sure that everyone is on their best behavior.."
"Of course darling, anything else?" "For now, no. Just keep this between us till we arrive. I do not want to have a three way conversation with the gang. Especially via you." Loki fakes a hurt look. "You wound me darling" I smile.
Not long after our conversation the Quin jet is loaded up and ready for take off. I sense Loki has taken the spot beside my bed. "We won't be there for a while, may I suggest you rest Loki?" I talk to him in his mind. "How long approximately before we do arrive.?" he questions back. "Well I usually take about 6-8 hours depending on the route, weather and speed of course." I force myself to close of the link and reserve my strength.
HOURS LATER. I am alerted to awake by the touch of Loki gently entering my mind and in doing so waking me from my slumber. "We are due to arrive soon. I wasn't sure if you wanted me to wake you" "Thank you Loki. Now you may tell the crew of what we previously spoke about"
Relief washed over you, the minute you had stepped foot in the tower. It had been three long months since you had gone back home to visit your family. It was around 11:30 pm when you finally got back to the tower. Grabbing your bag you walked into the tower.
The familiar aroma it had, breezed through your nose as you inhaled it. Walking into your chambers, you immediately changed before crawling into bed and letting sleep over take you.
Changing into your favorite sweatpants and crew neck, you scurried to the kitchen. The sound of laughter and chatter filled the air. As you opened the door, the chatter came to a crashing halt.
“Y/N!”
Wanda was the first to greet you and tug you in for a hug.
“Did you know she was here?” Steve questioned Tony.
“I had no idea.” Tony responded with surprise. “I didn’t think she was suppose to be back until next week?”
“I couldn’t help it.” You commented, sliding into the seat beside Tony. “I wanted to surprise my favorite people.”
“Thor’s going to be over the moon.” Natasha giggled.
“Where is he by the way?”
“Mission.” Everyone spoke in unison.
Nodding your head, you spent the rest of the day doing different activities with each person.
As you were laying in your room reading, there was a harsh knock on the door. Opening it you couldn’t stop the grin that had danced to your lips.
“Lady Y/N!” Thor exclaimed wrapping his arms around your waist, yanking you in for a hug. Lifting you off of the ground, he began twirling you in his arms.
Chuckling, he placed you back on your feet.
“This is my brother, Loki.” He gestured while grinning.
“Y/N.” You stated holding your hand out to shake.
Glancing at your hand, he looked back into your eyes before he scoffed striving down the hall.
Frowning Thor turned towards you. “I’m sorry about him.”
“It’s okay! I missed you.”
The rest of the day, Thor had barely left your side. He had become one of your best friends since you had joined the Avengers.
Since that day, Loki had intrigued you. He was quiet and brooding. His onyx hair was smooth and wavy while his ocean blue eyes seemed to bore into your soul. You had made it your mission to befriend him, while he seemed to make it his mission to reject you.
Almost everyone had gone away on a mission, except for you, Bruce, Sam and Loki. Bruce had locked himself away in the Lab, while Sam had gone somewhere on a mini mission of his own.
The soft pelting of rain against the roof and windows, sounded through the tower as it was practically silent. You had spent most of the day, wandering around and leaving little surprises and gifts for your friends. Grabbing your book, you mosey over to the living room. Much to your surprise, y/e/c was met with the same ocean blue ones that were avoiding you.
Once you locked eyes, you halted your steps immediately.
“Sorry.” You muttered sadly, dropping your gaze to the ground. Turning on your heel, you quickly made your way to the door. A strong hand wrapped around your wrist preventing you from moving further.
“Stay.” A deep voice spoke in a hushed tone.
Nodding your head, he let go of your wrist curiously watching your actions. Without meeting his gaze, you made your way over the window sill that you often used as your reading nook.
Being engulfed in your novel, you hadn’t noticed the man occupying the seat in front of you, until his outstretched leg softly bumped yours. Startled you, a soft gasp fell from your lips.
“I didn’t mean to scare you.” He spoke quietly.
Nodding your head, you resumed reading. Without looking up from your book, you broke the silence.
“What?” You questioned. “Do I have something on my face?”
“No.” He spoke quickly.
Heat rose in your cheeks, as your eyes met his once again.
“What is it?” You prompted while raising an eyebrow at him over your book.
“Nothing.” He replied raising his book signalling the end of the conversation.
Resuming your place in your novel, you saw out of your peripheral vision the soft gaze of the ocean eyes as they drank in your features.
“There you are Brother!” Thor boomed as he entered the living room. Stopping in the middle of the living room, sending him a smirk.
Both you and Loki jumped at the sudden loud noise. Before gazing at the blonde giant.
Quickly rising to your feet, you scurried out of the room.
“What?” Loki snapped returning to his book.
“You like her.” Thor occupied the seat you had previous left.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Loki denied.
Silence fell between them, before Thor spoke again.
“She’s a great girl.” He stated.
Loki huffed in annoyance before he stomped out of the living room, only to be greeted with giggles in the hallway. As he searched for the source of the sound, he stood in front of Wanda’s bedroom door. The door was left open slightly, revealing you and Natasha sitting on one side of the bed. His lifts morphed into a soft smile.
Later that night the girls had took over the living room, practically screaming at Jarvis to request your presence. Their giggling had filled the hallway leading to the living room.
“What are you guys doing?” You questioned as a giggle fell from your lips.
“Impromptu girls night!” Wanda exclaimed.
Stepping in front of them, you rolled your eyes in a playful manner. Joining them on the couch, you began watching Rom-Com movies. Not long after the second movie, Wanda initiated a talk about your love lives. As if on cue, the living room door opened revealing a sweatpant clad Loki.
“I...I uh just came to check on you girls.” He spoke in a hushed tone, shifting from foot to foot visibly uncomfortable. Before he could say anything further, Wanda had yanked him forward, causing him to land flush beside you on the couch.
“Nat!” She shrieked giggling at Natasha. “There’s a boy in our girls night room!”
Natasha giggled in response. Gazing between your two friends, it dawned on you that they had probably been drinking before you joined them.
Turning to glance at Loki, a smile made its way to your lips. Wanda positioned herself so that she was cuddling into Loki’s side, as she asked him question after question, while none of which seemed to annoy him, if they did he hid it rather well.
Lifting his gaze to the end of the couch, where yours was as he returned your smile. At some point during the night, you had fallen asleep on Loki. Wanda and Natasha were in deep slumber on the floor, covered by blankets and pillows.
A loud boom startled you awake, causing a soft groan to escape from underneath you.
“Sorry.” You whispered, as you began unwrapping yourself from Loki.
“Stay.” He pleaded quietly. “Please.”
Nodding, you laid back in your previous position. Gazing into his ocean blue eyes, you gently raised your hand touching his cheek. Closing his eyes, he leaned into your touch. As you fell back asleep, you felt Loki, pull you closer.
“Guys we have a huge problem.” Tony spoke joining the team for breakfast. Loki had opted to sit beside you, allowing his thigh to rest firmly against yours. As Tony explained, your heart fell into your stomach knowing nothing good would come from this mission.
“Pesky little things.” Galaticus spoke as flung Natasha into Clint, causing them both to hit the ground with a thud.
“Get out of here!” Sam yelled towards you. “Now!”
Sam was in the air flying around trying to distract him.
“I have to agree with wingman.” Thor spoke up as he and his brother joined your side.
“You know I can’t do that.” You stated as a sadness was evident in your voice. Glancing around, you were trying to come up with a plan. “They’re my friends.”
“I know.” He confirmed, placing a hand on your shoulder. “Can’t blame me for trying.”
You nodded your head.
“What’s the plan?” He questioned.
“What makes you think I have a plan?” You asked looking around the battle scene.
He scoffed in response. “When don’t you?”
Loki’s blue eyes, captured yours as you were going over the plan with Thor. One of Galacus’s minions took advantage of Loki being distracted charging at him and knocking him to the ground.
Your feet had immediately took you towards Clint’s bow and arrow.
“Y/N!” Clint yelled catching your attention. “Catch!”
He tossed you his bow and arrows. Catching it, you furiously began shooting arrows at a rapid pace, taking the enemy out one by one.
Adrenaline began pumping through your veins as your chest began rising and falling rapidly.
“Y/N!” Steve yelled towards you nodding.
Running at full speed at Steve, he lifted you on his shield before using his strength to assist your continuation into the air. Shooting your arrow at Galacus, you managed to pierce his shoulder, earning a strangled cry of pain from him.
Tumbling down to the ground with a harsh thud, he began his decent on you. Thor stepped in taking him by surprise, allowing you to scramble out of harms way.
Stepping out of the shower, you moved your tank top strap slightly, as you caught sight of your bruised shoulder. It looked worse than it felt. There was a large black and blue hue to it. Sighing, you shook your head exiting the bathroom.
A large figure perched on the edge of your bed, caused a yelp to fall from your lips as you placed a hand over your heart.
“Sorry love.” Loki’s voice filled the air. “I didn’t mean to scare you.”
You scoffed.
“What you did today...Was stupid.”
You rolled your eyes in response.
“You could’ve died today!” Loki explained as he raised his voice.
“So?” You challenged, crossing your arms over your chest. “Everyone else on the team has done so many, many times. I don’t see you yelling at them!”
“I don’t care about them!” He exclaimed. Once the realization of his confession dawned on him, you watched a tinted pink color dance along his cheeks.
Your voice was barely above a whisper. “You care about me?”
“Of course I do. You’re my brothers pet human.” Loki spat. “I would hate for anything to happen to you, it would devastate my brother. Besides, you’re a useless human. I don’t see why everyone is so fond of you.”
His harsh words cut inadvisable wounds. Tears began to pool in your eyes, threatening to fall. Your heart felt as if it shattered into a million tiny pieces.
A whimper fell from your lips, somehow being the only sound you could manage. As tears began streaming down your cheeks before a sob shook through your body. Daring to glance at him, his expression softened as he made a movement to reach out and touch you.
Your body involuntarily winced, causing him to freeze his actions.
“I...I think you should go.” You strangled out.
“Y/N...”
Opening your door, you held it open for him not bothering to look at him.
He let out a sigh before leaving your room.
Since your last encounter with him, you hadn’t ventured out of your room for much more than a bite to eat. The rest of the team noticed, trying to coax you out of your room.
It was a late night, one that you were practically struggling to sleep. There was a soft knock on your door, signalling you weren’t the only one struggling.
Shock coursed through your veins as y/c/n met a familiar ocean pair.
“Y/N.” He spoke catching the door, as you immediately attempted to shut it. “Please.” Loki pleaded, his eyes filled with sorrow.
“Why should I?” You hissed. “So you can let me know just how much of a useless human I am?”
“No, I-”
“I don’t care.” You cut him off, not caring to hear his explanation. Before you knew it, you were sitting on your bed while Loki stood cautiously in front of you.
“I’m sorry.”
Scoffing you rolled your eyes.
“That day.” He let out a frustrated sigh. “I...I was scared. I was scared you were going to get terribly hurt. I wouldn’t know what I would have done if you did.”
Looking down at your hands, you shook your head. “Not your problem.”
“I want it to be my problem.” He spoke, kneeling in front of you placing a hand on your cheek. “I care about you deeply.”
You raised your gaze to his eyes.
“I can see why my brother is so fond of a brave human like you.”
He leaned forward, nuzzling his nose against yours. His lips centimetres in front of yours, as if he was afraid of kissing you. Lacing one of your hands through his hair, you closed the small space. His lips were surprisingly soft. It wasn’t a long kiss, but enough to say everything his voice couldn’t.
Pulling away, you rested your foreheads against each other, before crawling back under the covers. Lifting up the edge of it, you silently invited him to join you. His unsure gaze held your confident one. Slowly, he slid under the blankets. Making himself comfortable he wrapped his arms around you, tugging you impossibly closer, as your head rested on his chest. The sound of his heart thumping, was enough of a melody for you to fall asleep.
PART 1
“Y/N, don’t touch that.” Loki reached out to grasp your wrist, effectively stopping you from picking up the glass bottle. He watched as your plump lips curved into a frown.
“I have a headache,” you told him. “I need a headache cure.”
“That’s not the headache cure.” He moved your hand over to a bottle three spaces to the right and pushed your fingers down on it. “This is the cure. The other one is trouble, do not ever touch it.” Curiosity lit up your face, and Loki knew he had made a mistaken by forbidding you to touch it.
You plucked the cure out if it’s box, along with the one he told you not to touch and held them up to the light. “You probably shouldn’t have made them the same colour,” you told him, shaking the vials of pale-yellow liquids. “One can see how they might be mixed up.”
Loki sighed. Reprimanding you for disobeying him was futile. You always pushed your limits, and had you not been such a promising student he would have kicked you out of his study long ago.
Born the daughter of a handmaid to the queen, Frigga was able to pick up on your affinity for seidr from an early age. She had tasked Loki with your training upon his release from the dungeons—one of a long list of amendments for all the damage he had caused on earth—and he refused to let her down.
There was also the fact that he was sweet on you. You were five hundred compared to his thousand years, so you were not a child by any means. However, he knew the people of Asgard would not see it that way. They had still not forgiven him for his stint on Midgard, trying to kill his brother and bringing Jotunns to their realm, and would no doubt accuse him of taking advantage of your sweet disposition.
Plus, Frigga would ring his ear right off if he touched you.
“What does it do?” Loki lifted a brow. “The one you told me not to touch. Is it dangerous? You stopped me so suddenly.” Loki opened his mouth to answer, then blushed. You caught this and tilted your head. “Loki?”
“It’s nothing that concerns you.”
You wrinkled your nose in that endearing way that made him want to place a kiss on it. “You’re being weird. Why are you being weird? Is it a sex thing?” Loki said nothing. “Oh my gosh, it is a sex thing!”
“Y/N—”
“What does is do?” you questioned. “Does it work like a love potion? Does it attract suitors? Does it help prolong things?”
Loki snapped his book shut. Discussing the topic of sex with you was painting his brain with images of you screaming his name in a multitude of positions. If you kept this up any longer, he was going to take liberties with you.
“You’ve done well today, petal,” he said. The nickname he had given you brought a dusting of red to your cheeks, and he smirked. “I’ll see you for our lesson on Monday.” He usually gave you weekends off to destress and frolic with your friends. Most times you did, and others you would come looking for him with an obscure question about a lesson you had that week. He saw it for what it was—you wanting to spend time with him—and had long told his guards to give you access to his rooms whenever he was there.
“Will I see you at the ball tomorrow?” Loki stared at you. You had placed the vials on the table and had your hands behind your back. Your weight shifted from one foot to another as you bit your lip, a spark of hope in your eyes. He winced internally, hating that he was about to snuff it out.
“No.” Your face fell. “I don’t think it’s time.”
“You shouldn’t keep hiding, you know?” Your voice was soft and shy, so different from the unbridled tones he had gotten used too. “You made a mistake, just like so many of our kind. Just because the people are punishing you doesn’t mean you should punish yourself too.”
Loki blinked. His mouth open, then closed. What could he say to that? His hands fisted his trousers, fingers tightening on the material, then he released them. People of Asgard be damned.
“Y/N,” he cupped your face, and watched your eyes blow wide, “you are so much wiser than your years. If more people thought like you then I may actually consider rejoining this blasted society.” You closed your eyes and let your face press into his hand. “Alas, they do not, and for that I must bide my time.” He so badly wanted to kiss your forehead. Instead, he dropped his hand. A look of disappointment flashed across your face. “Night is upon us. You should get going before my mother comes looking for you.”
“You’re right.” Your voice was a whisper. He watched you grab the cure and slip into the pocket of your dress. “Good evening, Loki.”
ooOOoo
Night fall found Loki in bed and unable to fall asleep. He tossed and turned for an unhealthy amount of time before finally kicking the covers off him. Sleep evaded him for the night and the reason did not take a genius to figure out; you were on his mind. You were almost always on his mind if he was being honest. Usually, you were the one bright light in his dreams amongst nightmares of mad titans and black orders, but those sweet dreams could not come if his mind would not relax to allow his slumber.
A knock interrupted his scattered thoughts. Puzzled, Loki got to his feet. Only his mother visited him so late—Thor once in a while if he needed something and Odin, never—so he was surprised when he opened his door and found you standing there. “Y/N?”
“Loki,” you breathed. You were clad in a nightgown and a dressing robe, and your hair was messy. It was clear you had also been having trouble sleeping. What Loki could not figure out was why you were in tears. Tracks of water fell from your eyes and your nose was red as though it had been rubbed raw. You kept shifting from side to side, discomfort painted on your face. “Loki…”
“Y/N, what’s wrong?” He reached out to touch your shoulder and he felt heat emanating from your skin through your layers. “Are you ill? Why is your skin so warm?” Concern laced his voice as he looked you over.
“I need help—Ah!” Your body tensed as though you had been shocked. Alarmed, Loki tightened his hold on you. “Please help me.”
“Petal, I can’t help you unless you tell me what’s wrong.” Fresh tears fell from your eyes. You brought your hands to your face, and you looked…embarrassed? “Y/N,” Loki fought to keep the emotion out of his voice. Seeing you cry was bothering him. “Petal, please tell me what’s wrong.”
“I took the wrong one,” was your whimpered reply.
“What?”
“I took the wrong one,” you repeated. “The cure… I think I took the other one by mistake.”
Loki looked at you. His eyes went from your sniffling face to the way you kept rubbing your thighs together and he let out a groan. “Y/N…”. He trailed off, sticking his head out the door to look down the hall. Seeing no one, he invited you in. He led you to his bed and perched you at the end before sitting on the green hassock running the length of the foot of his bed. “Tell me what happened.”
“I had a headache,” you started, “so I took the cure before bed like I usually do. I had fallen asleep when—Oh!” You whimpered and your thighs slapped together. The sight set off a reaction in Loki that had him grinding his teeth. “I—I was asleep and I started feeling hot and like I wet myself so I woke up and there was this pain,” you gestured towards the apex of your thighs, “down there and I was so hot. Then I remembered what you said about the sex potion, and I realized what must have happened.” You shook your head. “I’m so sorry, Loki. I must have grabbed the wrong one, I—”
“Shh, come here.” Loki pulled you forward and into his neck. Your tears wet his skin as he tried to decide what to do next. He knew well how the potion worked— he had used it with many lovers in the past, in fact— but they had been willing participants. You were innocent and had taken it unknowingly. He had to tread carefully. “Petal?”
You sniffed. “Yes?”
“I’m going to help you, okay?” You pulled your face out of his neck. “I just need you to trust me. Do you trust me?”
“I do.” There was no trace of untruth in your face.
Loki let his hands cup your face. He stroked his thumbs along your smooth cheeks and allowed himself to place a kiss on your forehead. “Darling, do you understand what this help entails?”
“You’re going to fuck me?” The dirty words dripped off your tongue with an innocent air that had Loki’s cock stirring in his pants. There was no innuendo or double entendre behind them too—just a question in that small voice of yours that made Loki want to take you right there.
“Yes.” The reply was sharp, succinct. “You’ve lain with men before, correct?” You shook your head no, and Loki paused. “Never?” You shook you head again, drawing a frown from the prince before you. This was quite the roadblock. He was okay having sex with you to help work out the potion when he thought you had already done the deed but finding out you were a virgin changed everything. “Maybe I should not—”
“No.” You gripped him suddenly, desperation in your eyes. Tears strangled your voice as you pleaded with him “Loki, please. I want it to be you. I’m sorry I touched the potion, but you have to help me—Ah!” Your hips jerked forward. “Please. It hurts!”
“Okay.” Loki smoothed your hair back. “Okay. Lay back and show me where it hurts, my sweet.” You did as you were told. The dressing robe covering your nightgown was discarded and you reached out and grabbed the ends of your gown. A few tugs brought it level with your bellybutton, so Loki was staring at your thin panties. Loki hooked two fingers in the sides of the material and pulled them down.
He gasped at the sight before him. Now that your bare pussy was on display, he was able to see just how much the potion affected you. Your mound was an angry red, swollen and weeping juices. Clear liquid glistened on your thighs, and he could see your stiff clit standing out from between your lips. “Darling, did you drink it all?”
The whimper you let out was answer enough. “Yes…”
“It’s okay.” You cried out as two of his nimble fingers connected with your clit. He rubbed gentle circles over the nub, watching as your face relaxed for the first time that night. Carefully, when he thought you were ready, he dipped a finger into your heat.
“Oh!” Tiny hands gripped his wrists, spurring him to add another. He felt your walls quiver as he began curling his fingers inside of you. Your eyes all but rolled to the back of your head when he began twisting them in a clockwise motion. “Loki…”
He removed his fingers and you whined. Your hips bucked up in search of contact. “Relax, darling.” Loki’s rested his hand on your stomach and pressed your hips back into the bed. He knelt on the floor in front of the hassock and pulled you forward until your pussy was level with his mouth. “I want to taste you.”
Loki moaned as he ran his tongue through your folds. You tasted as sweet as he expected, maybe even sweeter. Your cunt was soaked and heated and his tongue burned as it sought out your tight cave. Fingers twisted in his hair, tugging and terrorizing the curly strands. He nibbled on your clit and let his tongue soothe the nub with a circling motion, and it was only when he felt a gush of fluid into his mouth did he realize that you had just had your first orgasm of the night.
“Y/N?” Loki lifted himself over you. Relief had washed over your face, albeit just a little. By the remnant swell of your pussy and heat still emanating from your body, he could tell there was still a long way to go. “Darling, how do you feel?”
“Good,” you whispered, hands reaching for him. “Need more.” Loki chuckled low.
“Go up on the bed for me, sweet thing. Get comfortable”. He watched as you crawled towards his pillows at the head of the bed. The position gave him a good view of your dripping cunt, and he licked his lips at the sight. Loki rose off the ground and walked over to you. He rid himself of his clothes as he neared—first his tunic then his breeches—and knelt between your open legs. He saw your eyes widen as you took in the size of his cock.
“Come here, darling.” Loki lifted your chin. He had always wanted to kiss you and he was finally going to get the chance too. Your lips were like little pillows, mottled with rough patches from where you nibbled on them. A thousand and one reminders from Loki had not gotten you to drop the habit.
You moaned as he kissed you, letting his tongue slide into your mouth. The taste of your juices mingled with the taste of your saliva and Loki felt his head spin. He moved closer to you and as he did so, he felt the tip of his cock slide against your raw pussy.
“Loki!” You hissed, lips leaving his. The urgency with which your hands grabbed his hips was telling. Every hump of your hips made contact with his crotch, and he had to hold you down against the bed before you hurt yourself.
“Y/N.” The sound of your name made your eyes open. He made sure you were looking at him before he continued. “It’s imperative that you listen to what I have to say. The potion overwhelms your senses so all you can think about is release. You may find yourself wanting to push past your limits, but you absolutely cannot allow yourself to do so. If it hurts, or you need to stop, let me know at once.”
You whined, “Loki…”
“I’m serious,” he said. There was no hint of a joke in his tone. “I won’t help you if it will hurt you. Do you understand?” You gave a meek nod, and Loki grinned. “Good girl,” he kissed your forehead, “now just relax and let me make you feel good.”
Loki reached down to take ahold of himself. He began rubbing himself against your folds, unable to resist the temptation of teasing you. Mischief curved his lips up as he watched you begin to squirm and whine his on his silk sheets. “Loki, please!”
“Okay, okay,” he chuckled. “I’ll stop teasing.” The tip of his cock was already at your entrance, and he pushed in just a little. Your cunt gripped him immediately and he groaned. He was planning to pull back and get you used to the feeling but your walls refused to release him, so the only thing left was to keep pushing forward. He kept a watchful look on your face as he did so to make sure you were not in pain.
“Darling,” he asked when he had bottomed out in you. “Can you look at me?” You opened your glassy eyes. “Are you in pain?” You shook your head. “Can I continue?” You nodded. Loki doubled over onto you as you gave your ascent. The potion had made your deliciously tight pussy so wet and so hot that he was having a hard time not moving at all. Even the slow, gentle pace he set was torture as he longed to pound you until your knees gave out.
While Loki was locked in his own mind prison, you seemed to be having a wonderful time. Your eyes were closed, head thrown back against the pillow. One of your hands gripped his shoulder and the other lay palm up above your head. The nightgown you wore shimmered off into thin air, exposing your naked body to him. Loki thought you were the most exquisite thing he had ever seen. His free hand found the one above your head and intertwined his own fingers between yours.
“Loki!” The sudden choked sob caught his attention. Your mouth was open with moans and your eyes were screwed shut. A few more thrusts had your walls clenching him so hard he yelled. “LOKI!” You screamed his name as your orgasm hit, and Loki growled. His name already sounded so good on your lips on a regular day. To hear it in the throes of passion was just sinful, and Loki wanted to hear it again and again until Hel came for him.
“Are we still good, petal?” You nodded, still lost in the high of your orgasm. “Excellent.” You squealed as he flipped you over. Loki used his hands to bring your knees up and pressed your face into the pillow. Gripping your hips, he pressed into you and started a faster, more punishing pace. The loud moans that left your lips spurred him on. His pace increased until he was pounding into you at lightning speed.
“Loki!”
“I know, petal.” He leaned towards you ear as you came again, squeezing his cock tightly. “I know exactly what you need and I’m going to give it to you. Is that clear?”
“Yes,” you whined. “Don’t stop, please don’t stop.”
“Remember our agreement,” he said sternly. His first orgasm was fast approaching, and he began to shake with effort. “You must tell me if it hurts.” You nodded, biting the pillow to muffle your screams. Loki pulled it out from between your teeth. “None of that. I want the entire palace to hear you screaming my name. Let them know you are mine—Fuck!” His end hit him hard, stealing his breath away. He crouched forward as his hips stuttered to an end. His cum left him in spurts and he made a mental note to make you drink a contraceptive potion later that night.
Loki rolled to the side, taking you with him. He turned your face over your shoulder to give you another kiss. Your face was blissful, sweaty with exertion and flushed, yet you reached down to grab him again. “I still need you,” you admitted with a whimper. “I don’t know—”
“That’s how the potion works, my love.” He felt your walls clench around him at the endearment.
“Do you have to tire me out?”
“Something like that.” Loki grunted. The lull in sex had given you enough time to recover, and now your cunt was gripping him again with need. He reached around you to toy with your clit while his other hand sought out a pebbled nipple. “We’ll take it nice and slow for a bit, okay sweet thing? We don’t want you getting hurt.” He began grinding his hips in repetitive motions. “How’s that?”
“So good,” you muttered. “So, so good.” Your eyes were closed again, and your head had flopped against his shoulder. It appeared you were very content to let Loki fuck you into oblivion.
“So, you wanted it to be me?” he asked into your ear. You shivered and nodded. “How long, petal? How long have you wanted me to fuck you?” He rolled your nipple between his long fingers and watched you squirm. “For how many of our sessions have you daydreamed about having me inside of this perfect little cunt, hmm?”
“All of—AH!” Another orgasm rippled through your body, and this time Loki came with you. He let out a mighty grunt as he fucked you both through your ends. “All of the time,” you whimpered. “All day, every day.”
“Is that so?” His hips stuttered to a stop, and you gripped him suddenly.
“No, don’t stop.” You let out a harsh breath. “Don’t stop, please. You feel so good.”
Loki hesitated. “Petal…”
“I’m okay.” You turned you head to look at him, making sure you met his eyes. There was a giddiness in them—delirium, almost—as you spoke. “It doesn’t hurt, I promise. I just—” you gasped as your cunt clenched again, and Loki hissed in pleasure. “Please.”
“Oh, darling,” Loki began as he started to thrust again. “I’d fuck this cunt every day if you’d let me.” You whimpered at his words. “Exquisite,” he muttered as he lost himself in you again, “perfect, beautiful petal.”
Loki lost count of the number of times you both came. He fucked you until your throat was raw from screaming and his hair was slicked with sweat. Neither of you could even sleep that night. Every time one of you tried to rest, your body would act up again and you would whine and grab at him until he pressed inside of you again. After this, Loki just left his cock inside of you between cooling off periods. It made it easy for him to just grab your hips and begin thrusting into you when your cunt started clenching his cock again.
It was the wee hours of the next morn when Loki noticed your body had stilled. He peered at the sundial motif carved into his floor and noticed hours had gone by since you had stirred. Looking upon you, he saw you were sleeping peacefully in his arms. He took advantage of your slumber to gently extract himself from you. There was blood and juices on his cock and between your thighs which he set about cleaning up with a wet cloth. He had just finished cleaning you up and was getting ready to heal you when you called his name.
“Loki?” You sat up and winced almost immediately. “Oh gosh!” Tears flooded your eyes as you glanced down at your overused pussy. “Loki—”
“Shhh, I know.” He placed a hand on your thigh. “It hurts, I know. I was just about to heal you.” Loki let the green energy flow out of his fingertips and over your thigh, all the way up to your raw throat. Little by little the pain ebbed, and when your body all but sagged in relief he knew he had done his job. “Is that better?” You nodded. “Good.” Loki kissed your forehead and let his hand drop from you face. He materialized a pair of breeches onto his body and watched you. Now that the haze of the potion was gone, he was not quite sure how you’d react to what had happened.
“Um…” You drew the golden covers up to your chest and tucked some hair behind your ears. It was messy in a way that made Loki want to put you on your back again. “T-thank you,” you stuttered out, “for last night.”
Loki nodded. “My pleasure.” Your blush deepened. “How are you feeling?”
“Good!” You answered as if startled. “G-good. I…” Your index finger drew circles on the sheet. “I’m so sorry about the potion. You told me not to touch it and I shouldn’t have. Serves me right for not listening. I won’t touch it again, I promise—”
“Y/N.” Loki touched your knee. “It is as much my fault for leaving it lying around as it is yours for mistaking it. There is no need to apologize. I’m glad you came to me. Valhalla knows what would have happened if someone with ill intentions came upon you last night.” You shivered, and Loki moved his hand to your shoulder. “I’m sorry. I did not mean to frighten you.”
“You didn’t.” He watched you shake your head. “I suppose I should return to my rooms now…”
“Stay.” You lifted a brow at the sudden command and Loki cleared his throat. “I mean, you can stay if you’d like. It’s still early and you’re probably exhausted.” Your brows furrowed. You looked from your hands to the nightgown on the floor, then your sleeping robe that had been discarded so many hours ago.
“I suppose I could stay,” you looked at him, “if you don’t mind.”
“Not at all.” He waved his hands and a book of potions appeared. “I have to make you a contraceptive, plus I’d like to look over you for a bit to make sure there are no lasting effects. You drank it all, you know.” Your face reddened. “Get some sleep, petal. I’ll wake you before the ball, you have my word.” He watched you slide under his covers, and within a few seconds you were asleep. Once he was sure you would not awaken, he moved over to his workbench and began taking out the ingredients for the potion.
His eyes strayed to you as he worked. You looked so tiny in his large bed that he wanted nothing more than to lay next to you. He wanted to hold you and stroke your hair and whisper sweet nothings while you slept. He wanted to be with you, in any way that he could, for he realized today that he had fallen totally and completely in love with you.
You, the bright-eyed young woman who had bounded into his study months ago and knocked over his favourite stack of books. You, who had blushed and stammered apologies as you haphazardly packed them back.
You.
Loki smiled to himself. Perhaps he would be making an appearance at that ball tonight after all.
Serpent’s Tongue
Pairing: Loki x fem!reader
Warnings: angst, hurt, lies and insults
Summary: Under the influence of a spell you break up with Loki, he doesn’t take it particularly well.
Uhmm so this is my first drabble, do people still call them that? I know it’s short but since it’s my first time posting something I’ve written I’m just testing the waters. Maybe I’ll continue it if anyone likes it? Let me know!
Tumblr media
You and Loki had been dating for a while now, and he had been nothing but sweet and charming with you. He soothed your insecurities, made every part of you feel beautiful, and genuinely seemed to treasure you as a person. Thor and the other Avengers had warned you to be weary of Loki, they told you he was a trickster, he could deceive and lie, and they didn’t want to see you hurt. You had no reason to believe their words though, not when Loki had only ever treated you with kindness and love.
What you didn’t know, however, was as much as Loki could love and dote, when he was hurting, he was an entirely different beast. When Loki felt hurt, when he felt sadness, he became angry, vicious, vindictive. He was vengeful and unforgiving, with a serpents tongue that could cut deeper than any blade. He could not control himself if someone hurt him, his defence mechanism was to hurt them back, with sharp words that he wouldn’t realise he’d spoken until much later.
You didn’t know about this side to Loki.
And he didn’t know you were under a spell.
-
“I’m sorry, Loki,” your lips uttered the words but your heart screamed the opposite. You were a spectator inside your own body, having been put under a spell that allowed the enemy to control you from afar. “I’m sorry I lied, but I don’t love you. We need to break up.”
The enemy’s intent was to drive the Avengers apart from the inside, with their first step being to handicap one of the biggest obstacles, Loki. And what better way to do this than to break his heart? He would be compromised, emotional, and it would make him easier to defeat.
And from the look you saw on Loki’s face as you uttered words you’d never mean, it seemed that plan was going to work. You’d never seen such pain in his eyes, such confusion and despair. Your heart was screaming, begging for him to realise this wasn’t you, it would never be you, but… he didn’t. He didn’t realise. For a moment you thought you saw tears forming in his eyes, threatening to spill down his sharp cheeks, but in an instant those tears disappeared. The hurt on Loki’s face was replaced with a scowl, one so full of malice and anger you felt fear swell inside of you. You had never feared Loki, but in that moment you did.
“You are breaking up with me?” he spat the words as if the concept alone put a bad taste in his mouth. A short, vengeful laugh came from his throat. “Don’t tell me you thought I was serious about you, y/n.”
Your face was unmoving, but the words cut into your heart like a knife.
A vicious smile worked its way over Loki’s features. He was no longer thinking clearly, his judgement clouded by heartbreak and hurt, his defence mechanism took over. He was going to hurt you back. “You are sorely mistaken if you thought our little fling meant anything to me, y/n,” his words were spiteful, searing. He scoffed, “I merely took pity on you. A pathetic, ugly, disgusting little midgardian that no one cared for.” He continued to insult you. He intentionally singled out your insecurities, every little thing you had hated about yourself, things that he had spent months convincing you weren’t true. He undid it all in seconds. “This meant nothing to me, y/n. You meant nothing to me.”
Your body was under the control of another, he didn’t know your words had been lies.
You didn’t know his words were lies either.
Hi! Could I please request a Loki one-shot? It's just, it feels he gets so little recognition for what he does, so maybe one night the reader sneaks into his room to "thank him" in a special (smutty) way
Recognition
Pairing: Loki Laufeyson x reader
Fandom: Marvel
Warnings: SMUT, oral (m receiving), dirty talk, NSFW
Word Count: 736
Summary: You sneak into Loki's room to give him the recognition he deserves in a slightly inappropriate way.
Tumblr media
(gif not mine!)
Were you breaking possibly every rule the Avengers had established for you? Possibly... but did you care? Absolutely not. Sliding into Loki's room completely unnoticed, you smiled to yourself. It was too easy to get past all the old men in the building.
Upon finding out about Loki and your's infatuation with one another, the Avengers immediately began doing everything they could to keep the two of you apart. They gave each of you a curfew and had FRIDAY watch you 24/7, giving you entirely different schedules and always trying to have you on separate sides of the building.
Had they thought about you being a computer genius while instilling these rules? Clearly not. It'd been too easy for you to hack into FRIDAY's system and override pretty much everything. Some might say it was the will of love... what's that corny quote about love always finding a way? You scoffed. It wasn't love that helped you, it was your genius brain.
"What's so funny, darling?"
You spun at the sound of Loki's voice, a large smile immediately infecting your face, "Just that they thought they could keep me away."
Loki was lounging against his headboard, a book in his lap as he watched you with loving eyes. A mischievous, proud glint shined in his eyes as he realized all the shenanigans you'd been up to. You quickly made your way over to the bed, keeping eye contact with Loki. His smirk grew under the realization that your mischievous shenanigans must've not been up just yet as you crawled to cradle lap.
"Love?" Loki hummed in response, immediately melting to the way your hand slipped into his raven locks, "I appreciate you. And... I know the team and civilians, and hell even, I don't give you enough recognition for everything you do. You've changed so much, and you've grown. I just... I want to show you how much I appreciate everything you do for me and others."
"Darling," Loki smiled, his eyes fluttering closed at your gentle scalp massage, "I know you appreciate me. I don't need the reassurance of those creatures to remind me I'm a God."
You rolled your eyes playfully, rolling your hips against his crotch, "I want to show you, though."
It doesn't take long to get Loki to be putty in your hands, helping you remove his pants and lay back as you stroke his cock in your hand. Soft groans tumble from his lips as he rocks his hips up to meet your hands each time. You find yourself becoming wetter and wetter with every moan that falls from his lips. You force yourself to remember... this is to show Loki the recognition he deserves.
You quickly replace your hand with your mouth, taking as much of him as you can. His hand finds its way to your hair, and your eyes flutter close. You hollow your cheeks and flatten your tongue as you suck, moving along his shaft in ways that pull deadly sins from his mouth. Every pulse, every twitch, every whimper you can feel in your mouth.
You relish in the fact that you can make him feel this way, and only you can make Loki moan like this. Quickening your pace, you hum in delight, immediately getting a reaction from Loki as he thrusts up into your mouth. Swirling your tongue around him and dipping into his slit, you fight the urge to moan yourself at the lust-blown look on Loki's face.
You know he's close. You can tell by his whimpers and moans, begging you to help him finish even though he doesn't need it. You bob your head quicker and suck harder for just a moment before deep throating him and watching as he comes undone.
Loki groans deeply as he fills your mouth, watching with hooded eyes as you graciously swallow everything he's giving you. Loki's legs trembled with pleasure as his orgasm washed over him. Gently letting go of him, you pulled back and smiled, watching his reaction happily.
"I love you, Loki."
"I love you three times as much," Loki smiled, caressing your face, "But now it's time for me to show you my appreciation."
You squealed as Loki pulled you up onto his chest. Clearly, you were in for a long night. You just hoped your reprogramming of FRIDAY would keep the Avengers locked in the lab for long enough.
Requested by Anonymous: loki and reader have been in love with each other since forever but no one really made a move or confessed, they were just really oblivious. but everyone could see it from the shy glances, the compliments, the smiles, the staring and all- one day, when the reader gets hurt by burning her hand while cooking for the avengers or smthin, loki basically loses his shit (even tho it's not that serious, which doesnt go unnoticed by y/n) then takes care of her or- idk! I just need some fluff, y'know- :"D
Warnings: fluffy loki
MASTERLIST
There was one thing every avenger could agree about, even Tony and Steve. Even Nat and Bruce. Even Vision and FRIDAY.
Loki was full-on attracted to you.
They could see it in the way he looked at you. The way he was always carefully orbiting you, like moon to the earth. There was a pull, like gravity, drifting between the two of you and it seemed that only you were oblivious to the attraction.
And that’s why it wasn’t odd that Loki was sitting on the kitchen island, feet dangling, while you cooked. It was your turn to prepare the meal this week at the tower, and you’d decided on something very minimal and easy; spaghetti.
“You kind of look Italian, you know?” you mumbled to Loki, who was munching on a dry spaghetti noodle.
He harrumphed something and then hopped off the counter. “But I am a God,” he said.
“And?”
“Italians are Midgardians.”
“I know that.”
“And I am Asgardiand.”
“Okay but the lean figure?” you countered, stirring the sauce you’d obviously bought at the store. “The dark hair? The bone structure?”
He made a face, somewhere between a grimace and a smile.
You strained the noodles and put the pot back on the stove. You stirred the sauce and Loki put his finger in to taste, but you slapped his palm with the wooden spoon. It made a wet slapping noise and sauce bounced off his hand and onto the floor.
His mouth opened in feigned offence.
“Y/N!” he gasped. And then he dipped his finger in the sauce and quickly swiped it along your cheek.
Now it was your turn to gasp.
You made to throw sauce from your spoon onto his face, but first, the sauce hit Tony, who was walking into the kitchen, and second, you grabbed onto the searing hot stove.
You gave a sharp wince, a quick intake of breath, and the saucy spoon clattered to the floor, spraying orange dots across linoleum. You cradling your burning hand, the flesh already turning pink.
“Oh my God, my floors!” Tony exclaimed, his right cheek streaked with orange sauce.
Loki, however, had gone completely pale, and had gone to your side in a flash. His eyes were wide, clear of any comedy, adorning concern you’d never seen on his features before. His hand was cold against yours, examining the burned flesh.
“It’s not that bad,” you mumbled, but your brows were pulled in together.
“Does it hurt?” he asked, his voice laced with concern.
“It’s nothing - “
“Tony get some ice.” Loki grabbed a clean kitchen towel, and when Tony - with a strange frown - held out a pack of ice, Loki wrapped it in the towel. “Here, put this on. I’m going to get Polisporin.” He rushed out of the kitchen, air billowing in your face.
You stood there, facing Tony.
“Does he know humans heal rather quickly from minor burns?” he asked.
You shrugged.
Steve walked in nonchalant, holding an empty protein shake bottle. “Ah, let the man run around like a headless chicken,” he sighed. “Maybe one day Y/N will realize he likes her.” He gave you a wink and you instantly forgot about the burn on your palm and instead focused on the burn in your cheeks.
You were about to ask what Steve meant, but Loki came running back in, hair flying behind him from his speed. He almost shoved Tony out of the way trying to get to you. You looked at him a little differently now. The concern, the wide eyes, rapid breathing, and the eccentric way he was lathering the lotion on your palm.
Something fluttered in your chest and it was not pain.
It was not discomfort.
Steve and Tony all but tiptoed out of the kitchen, giving you back glances that made your cheeks heat up worse than your burn.
“This feel better?” Loki asked. Your hand was almost pasty white from all the lotion he’d put on.
“Y-yeah, that’s good.”
His fingers lingered on yours, and he slowly brought them to his mouth, laying a chaste peck on the tips. “My mom used to kiss my injuries away,” he whispered.
You smiled slowly, that weird feeling in your chest twisting. “I feel all better now,” you whispered back. “Thank you.”
Green eyes met yours swiftly. There was something different there, and maybe there was something different in your eyes too, but it didn’t matter. Now, things were different. Now, you knew there was emotion hiding behind that nonchalant mask.
“C’mon,” he mumbled, turning you so you were leaning against the kitchen island. “I’ll finish this monster of a recipe.”
