LOKI

Had to do one inspired by the iconic Djurdjevic cover of Lady Loki in her Wanda disguise, not only because, well, it's me, but because I wanted to reclaim the narrative of Lady Loki herself, who is often weighed down by transphobic optics. In the years since, Loki has grown into a much more authentic, earnest representation of genderfluidity. As a genderfluid person (and a Rom) revisiting both that early exploration of Loki's femininity and her impersonation of Wanda was a lot of fun.

This was a cool diversion from my usual #lokihorns . The customer requested a color shifting paint that went from a golden yellow to green. #spazstixpaint delivered! Check out the different lighting to get a feel for this.

I shot this cosplay last year and never posted it, but I wanted to share for Halloween. I love being genderfluid, and I'm so happy that Loki's transness and genderfluidity is being expressed more earnestly in recent comics.

Sometimes less is more. Instead of doing a complex raised relief, this client asked for a simple snake etch. Well, I have to admit, it's classy.
