Yup, this bright and bubbly fella is the man for you! There are a lot of reasons that led me to choose Bolin of all the characters in the cast, so let's dive into it, shall we?

To Bolin, all women are queens, and you are no exception! Doesn't matter if you're dressed to the nines or just getting up, all bedhead and drooly-faced—to Bolin, you are a goddess, and he will worship the ground you walk on. Don't ask him to pick a favorite part about you because he'll pick everything! Your hair is so soft and silky and perfect for running his hands through; your eyes are so ethereal that he could get lost in them forever; your body is perfect for him to hug and squeeze and cuddle... Nope, Bolin is incapable of seeing a single flaw within you, and he'll tell as much to anyone who will listen (honestly, even those who don't)!

Your personality is definitely a big draw for Bolin, too, though. You guys seem to me like you'd be two peas in a pod! Just like you, Bolin is open-minded, supportive, caring, loyal, and forgiving. You both care deeply for those you are close to and are ready to leap to their aid whenever needed! Bolin may be a bit of an airhead, but if there's one thing that's true about him, it's that he remembers the little things about the people he cares about—especially people that he's dating! So, you'll only have to mention the fact that you love roses once, and he will commit it to memory.

Any time an occasion calls for flowers, he is definitely getting you roses. Besides, roses are the quintessential flower of romance! It's a win-win for him! A lot of times, he just gives you the tried-and-true red roses; they're always a hit, right? But sometimes, especially for more low-key occasions like surprise dinners or minor holidays, Bolin will shake things up with a different color. He honestly gets really into it, looking up the symbology of different colored roses to express whatever he's trying to convey at the moment. :)

With a blush coloring your cheeks, you peer out of your peripheral vision to find him gazing at you in dreamy, love-drunk reverence. It certainly isn't the first time you've found him staring at you in such a way, but just like every time before, the sheer amount of affection in which he regards you renders you coy.

"What's this, all of a sudden?" you ask with a nervous fidget and, to channel your rising embarrassment, add a few more half-hearted scribbles to your work in progress.

"I just wanted to say it, is all," Bolin replies with a hum.

Happiness bubbles up inside of you, and your bashfulness can offer no contest; a giddy smile tugs at your lips, one that beckons a smile of Bolin's own. He snuggles a little closer to you on the bed, and you welcome him, molding your side against his and marveling at how the two of you seem to fit together like puzzle pieces. Destined.

"But really," Bolin continues, leaning in close until his nose is nudging into your swathes of dirty-blonde hair, "you are gorgeous. So gorgeous that it blows my mind."

"You pamper me too much, you know," you accuse playfully.

"What?" Bolin gasps and gives you a scandalized look. "There's no such thing." He looks genuinely affronted by the idea, so much so that it makes you snort in laughter.

"I mean it," he pouts. "I'm not pampering you. I'm just telling it like it is. You're gorgeous!"

"I don't know how I can be so gorgeous just laying here and drawing," you giggle, unable to resist a sassy quip. However, you are quick to look back up at him with a softening smile. "But thank you, Bolin."

"Don't thank me. I'm just telling the truth," Bolin laughs. His arm lands across your back, and his hand cups your hip; he tugs you closer still, until your warmth is blending together in the nonexistent space between your bodies. It's familiar, and nice, and comfortable, so much so that it summons forth a sleepy contentment that has you sinking into your mattress. Your pencil now swirls in idle circles in the corner of your half-finished, now-abandoned sketch, much too content to just bask in Bolin's affection than focus on what you were doing. Bolin doesn't help matters, peppering the side and top of your head with little kisses.

"I'm so lucky," you say suddenly, and it's Bolin's turn to blink at you in surprise. With a contented sigh, you lean further into him and then explain, "To have somebody like you."

"Hey, that's my line," Bolin chuckles. "I'm the lucky one."

You open your mouth to argue, but quickly think better of it. With Bolin, this argument could continue for hours. So, instead, you smile and lean up to kiss the tip of his nose.

"Let's just say we're both lucky to have each other, all right?"

"Heh," Bolin snickers, his cheeks growing rosy and his smile shy, "I can live with that, I guess."

As you finally return your attention back to your drawing, Bolin hugs you tight and props his chin on your shoulder to watch your ministrations with bright-eyed, bushy-tailed eagerness.

This thread shows the amazing nature and utility of Watsonian Narrative Logic.

That if you want a character to have a moment where they are just overwhelming an opponent; you need to prove and validate the how and why that happens.

With the ATLA/LOK posts, it's pointing out how little the world knew of Air Nomadic ideology and combat practices and approach to violence. As well as in LOK Zaheer was a student and while well-versed in philosophical treatise of the Air Nomads; knew next to nothing in terms of the mastery of Air-Bending in a combative sense.

This allows Aang, Korra, Tenzin and his family to be as dominant as they were during LOK.

The Fencing comment reminds me of left-handed boxers (Southpaws) because just like the Fencing team; a southpaw boxer was/is a difficult matchup if you've trained or only fought right-handed boxers.

So, in a narrative if you want a character to outwit someone combatively; introduce elements or alternative forms of a fighting style many people aren't familiar with. It's hard to predict, destabilise, and attack someone using a fighting form that is both familiar and alien to you.

Ok minor detail but ...

So I noticed in A:TLA, and it’s carried over in LoK, that Airbenders always seem to have an advantage in a fight. And at first, it felt like plot armour, particularly in A:TLA.

But when Aang fought Bumi, he lost most of that advantage. And I realised that this wasn’t just plot armour. Someone had sat and worked it out: nobody has had to fight Airbenders for generations. 

None of the other nations have had to train to face them, or practised sparring with them, or anything. Apart from Bumi, no bender in the show has ever even met an airbender before Aang comes along. And in LoK, for the most part people still haven’t. We never see fights between those who have (for e.g. we never see Tenzin and Lin fight); when Korra and Tenzin use airbending, its a unique fighting style that people aren’t trained to manage.

It’s a really small detail, and it fundamentally works to give the heroes an advantage (and make up for Aang’s young age and lack of combat experience), but I love how it’s an advantage in combat for completely logical reasons.

The detail in these shows is amazing.

The Battle of Gods and Giants: 5 Best Top Laners at Worlds 2023

The 2023 League of Legends World Championship has arrived, bringing together elite players from around the world. While the top lane position is often underappreciated in terms of a team's success, this time is different, as we have an exceptionally talented group of players. This year's lineup is exceptional not only because it features some of the most iconic players returning to the competition but also because we're witnessing the emergence of promising new talents who have made a name for themselves throughout the season. Each player possesses unique qualities that contribute significantly to their team's overall performance and identity. Keeping this in mind, we've identified the top-performing players that you should definitely keep an eye on during the final tournament of the season. Here are the five most impressive top laners at Worlds 2023. The best top laners at Worlds 2023 Tang “Zika” Hua-Yu  The first player on our list is LNG Esports’ top laner, Zika. He might not be one of the big names at the tournament, but the Chinese player is a truly underrated pick and one worth paying attention to. Fans have often glossed over him due to the addition of bot laner GALA to the team. Having a super carry on the other side of the map meant most of the team’s attention and focus would go to GALA and consequently put Zika into a weak position.  Regardless, Zika showed up whenever the situation called. Aside from K’Sante and Sion, his two most-played champions in the summer were Renekton and Jax. In particular, his Jax scored an 83.3 percent win rate, according to the stats site Games of Legends.  His consistency and flexibility pushed Zika among the top three top laners in the Chinese league. He recorded the second-highest KDA during the second half of the season with an average of 1.8 deaths each game, only behind JDG’s top laner 369. Individually, he also had the fourth-highest positive gold differential. Zika might not be a super carry, but he does a wonderful job on his own, and he’ll likely maintain that level of play at Worlds as well.  Choi “Doran” Hyeon-joon Even though Doran didn’t have a great showing at MSI, he bounced back with a stellar Summer Split, gapping all his rivals in the LCK and being a consistent presence in all of Gen.G’s victories.  Doran had the highest gold differential as well as the second-highest experience differential at 15 minutes. Compared to the past, where he mostly had a weak side role, Doran also evolved individually. In the summer, he started playing more damage-oriented champions like Jax and Gangplank while scoring 20 solo kills throughout the split, the highest number in his role.  It’s unclear whether he will keep up the same level against the LPL top laners but Doran is unquestionably one of the strongest players in his role at Worlds 2023.  Kang “TheShy” Seung-lok If you’ve followed League for a few years, you probably know TheShy. Remember Worlds 2018 when he was smurfing against all the top laners? That’s how dominant TheShy was when he first took the 2018 World Championship.  After four years of failing to make Worlds, TheShy is back on the big stage. It’s incredible how he’s only 23 years old, yet he’s considered one of the most experienced players across the globe. Throughout the years, we saw TheShy slowly evolve his playstyle, going from a lane-dominant carry player to willingly playing weak side for the benefit of the team. Nonetheless, he’s still the top laner with the highest damage percentage in the LPL, with nearly 600 damage per minute. TheShy’s potential is undeniable, but it ultimately comes down to how Weibo Gaming can utilize him. While the player has no issues in isolated matchups, he can be vulnerable to ganks, especially if the team doesn’t help him out. This will be the key to TheShy and WBG’s entire run at Worlds. Chen “Bin” Ze-Bin In the first half of 2023, Bin took the LPL by storm, carrying BLG in crucial moments like the series against Gen.G at MSI earlier this year, dominating over his counterpart Doran in the elimination bracket.  During the Summer Split, however, he couldn’t maintain the same level of dominance. A part of that was due to the meta not favoring his carry-oriented style, bogging him down. Most of his damage-oriented picks like Jax, Gwen, and Fiora, which he played the most in the first half of the season, went missing in the second half, as he moved over to safer picks like K’Sante and Renekton. Regardless, he was still consistent on an individual level, boasting the highest CS per minute, gold per minute, and average gold differential, according to lpl.qq. He wasn’t able to show up during the Asian Games, as China lost to South Korea in the semifinals, but now that he has gone back to BLG, we should see him return to his standards and prove to the world why he’s one of the best top laners of 2023.  Bai “369” Jia-Hao Even though Bin was considered by fans and LPL enthusiasts the most complete top laner for the majority of the season, he still had a kryptonite of his own, JDG’s 369. Whenever Bin and 369 clashed, the latter always ended up having the upper hand.  He might not be the type of carry player fans love to see, but he’s No. 1 when it comes to playing weak side and playing in isolation and low on resources. If JDG can shine and win games through their mid and bot lane, it’s also thanks to 369’s ability to handle the pressure and deny all snowballing opportunities from enemies on his side of the map. It’s not surprising that he had the lowest number of deaths at 84 among all top laners in the LPL, with Ornn and K’Sante being his most-played champions. Hello! I hope you're having a wonderful day/night, I loved the matchup you did for me beforehand and I thought this sounded fun so here I am! 😇 I am an INFJ-T, Virgo sun, Libra moon, Libra rising. I don't really like being around others I'm not familiar with. I talk a lot when I'm nervous, almost always saying something completely asinine or embarrassing. Those moments haunt me. I'm also a rather judgmental person, first impressions are sort of everything to me. If I have an idea about someone, it sticks even if I've never spoken to them. It'll take a bit to convince me otherwise. I don't trust easily, and I'm very stubborn. Along with talking I tend to fidget and bite my nails when I'm nervous or even just bored, I get rather anxious when I'm doing nothing. I only have a select few friends but I do everything in my power to make sure that those few people are happy with me and with themselves. While I do my best to know my place it’s hard for me to turn a blind eye when I know said person is suffering. I’m definitely a mom friend. I do have some anger issues and I am quite the control freak but I never let anyone else see that side of me unless I know them. I do my best to avoid any form of conflict. When I'm comfortable enough out of my shell, I'm much more bold, open, and Intense some may say. I can get pretty chaotic when I'm 100% in my element. I love to write and I occasionally draw, though I am horrendously critical of it all. I love anything crime, mystery, or horror related. It all just interests me so much. I hate a lot of things, though overly loud, or confrontational people really erk me. There's a time and a place, and I really just can't stand people who don't understand that. I'm a very irritable person, but I'm not quick to violence unless I'm forced into it. While I do write my hobbies are rather simple, I love baking and gardening. I’d love it if you could surprise me! One reason I smiled today is I had a rather engaging conversation with someone I care about, the subject was mundane but that didn’t make it any less interesting. I hope this wasn't too much! There are a lot of uses for ferrokinesis, and one with a sharp mind may be able to find other more lesser known features of the power. With this power you are able to bend metal to you will. This may allow you to stop bullets in mid air and form daggers from the debris.

However, this ability has many beyond combat. Shelters can be erected in mere seconds and defensive shields can be summoned with a snap of the fingers. This power is ideal for defence and protection.

Weaknesses:

"You can not create or destroy matter." You cannot conjure metal from thin air. It first must be in existence for you to bend it.

The rougher the metal, the more difficult it is to manipulate. Rocks and other earthy materials are beyond your ability's scope. The more pure and refined the metal- the easier it is to be manipulated.

Commanding this power takes a certain degree of grit and stubbornness as the metal itself is perpetually fighting against the bender. Do not allow yourself to be swayed by its strength.
