remember post plus. remember the "logoff protests" that ppl held against it. remember how literally nothing changed after it was introduced bc nobody used it and it was eventually quietly cancelled. that was so fucking funny
*sneaks into the room, arms crossed and looking around* How's it hanging my dudes? How was your 17th? I...uh... dyed my hair red on the 16th and couldn't share it lol (actually I did, but only on discord lol)
Also good news, got followed by 3 porn bots while I was gone. *sarcasm* Just shows tumblr didn't do shit.
As part of the growing @logoffprotest I’ll be heading out for a few days. Since you’ve consistently made changes that created site-wide negative backlash and refused to address them in any useful way, we’re hoping a sharp drop in site activity will clue you in.
As a teacher, clear communication is important to me. I have to make my content accessible to students, and I expect them to write down their work and show me how they think through a problem.
Staff, you have failed in this area. By refusing to communicate with users, flagging and shadowbanning those who protest your decisions, and changing the site while claiming to fix the problem – indeed, making them worse, with more bot accounts and more reports of eye strain from the color change – you’ve shown a lack of care for your users.
Now, not as a teacher but as a user of this site: staff, go fuck yourselves. Goodbye.

BANNED FROM TUMBLR:
a flommus collection
featuring works hidden via algorithm from OUR BLOG in order to protect YOU from questionable ART, FASHION and PHOTOGRAPHY.
These works have now been modified so you can safely enjoy them without danger.
For other, uncensored flommus content, please Google your way to our derTung blog – which is not on Tumblr.
One day logging off to protest Tumblr's bullshit is nothing, so I'm going to log off for longer when it happens. 3 days to a week. I suggest others join me in that, the site losing attention for one day won't do shit.
Best to make it last longer, it'll make a more noticeable difference to how the site is doing.
Don’t worry: I’ll be coming back soon. I AM NOT LEAVING TUMBLR!
If my blog is “post free”:
Don’t worry: I’ll be checking and reposting the SFW stuff and remodeling the NSFW stuff to be reposted as SFW. MY POSTS WILL BE UPDATED!
If I’m not online on December 17th:
Don’t worry: I’ll be participating on the logoff protest for showing @staff how they are screwing up with this shitty stupid ban. I WILL BE BACK IN DECEMBER 18TH.
If my blog is deleted:
Don’t worry: you can find my works on the following links:
And I will be making a new SFW acc on Tumblr that will be signalized in all my profiles if I’m not able to take my @ back. Again: I AM NOT LEAVING TUMBLR.
If staff doesn’t understand how it works, we’ll show them: if they don’t care about the users, we’ll find a way to be together!
Okay, I'm now back from the logoff protest. I won't be able to catch up on the past week's dashboard activity, so if you have anything for me to see, please resend it.
I won't hold it against anyone that didn't participate in the logoff protest this time, since it was a whole-ass week and it's still hard to get the same experiences from other internet platforms.
