Rebranding isn’t the easiest. I had to detach myself from the outcome and the opinions of others. That’s also a great start to pure happiness as well. Every view, follower, play, etc. that I worked hard to get as Temper had to be released completely. I went through a few life experiences that helped me find my niche and helped me shape my new sound. Some people will enjoy it, some people won’t. Some people will support it, most won’t until others do. I stepped out on faith once again with enough belief in myself to start from scratch. Just wanted to say thank you to those that stuck with me. No matter what the world was listening to; you still chose to listen to me and you didn’t need a bandwagon to hop on. 0n 8/8 I released The Black Lion album with 18 tracks See what I did there? 8/8/18 In 18 different moments I felt 18 different feelings so I wrote about them. I produced 17 out 18 of the tracks. @vidorraofficial produced “Nahdi.” This album is the most diverse project I’ve ever done. The music industry changed the frequency standard to 440hz, which is unnatural for humans. It’s a numbing vibration. So, if you ever wondered why we are so disconnected nowadays 🤷🏽‍♀️ - there you have it. It’s the broadcast standard EVERYWHERE. I tuned all of my instruments to 432hz. That frequency is a healing vibration. I love breaking rules. That’s the beauty of being an independent artist. We do whatever the fuck we want to do.
