This was just a lil bit over almost a year in July or August of 2015. Well, yup it's passed my ears now I have 96 of these locs. I'll tell you now, this has been such a great year with my locs. It's not as easy as I thought it was going to be, Because through out this span I question does my hair look good, are my locs doing okay, or am I doing this right. Should I cut these? Or should I braid them? Ya, it's trial and Error with these puppies, I'm learning that I have to find the right and correct style and position of my hair so I won't feel as if they are awkward on my face. Would you believe if I told you that these things brought some patiences into my life. The amount of times I've sat and sat patiently for a few hours in order to get my hair done. The whole process is time consuming, Washing, re-twisting, sometimes hair styles, and then blow drying each section for adequate drying of the locs! Man it can get tiring! But I wouldn't trade it for the world as of right now! As I said before hand it took nothing but short of a year for my hair to reach pass my ears! I'm actually happy that they're old enough and lo'cced enough for me to wash them. I can't wait till my hair is on my shoulder or a few Inches longer than in my shoulder. This is what I've been waiting for, for so long! I can say that I mustered up a good amount of strength in order to stick it out as long as I have because I've always been a fan of trying new things out for my hair. However, the versatility my hair has bought me is amazing: braids, buns, twist out, hightop fades,etc. THANK YOU HAIR FOR THE VERSATILITY! Let me wrap this up, 2016 has been amazing for my locs. I see so many people tough it out until they get to the long beautiful locs they were hoping to get. I learned this year everybody hair texture is different and all dreadlocks look different. So I wouldn't say compare em, but find the ones who have similar hair texture and go off of that. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HOW THIS GOES! 2017 HERE I COME WITH MY LOCS!
