Locked Out (Kinetic Novel)
Created by: SlowlyTee 🍓
Genre: Horror/Romance
This is a short but complete kinetic novel about a girl named Sallie who gets locked out of her apartment and has to wait it out in her neighbor Kien's apartment until she can get the locksmith to come. It has a very nice art style and a bit of a twist near the end, even if it does feel like it ends in a cliff hanger. You can find more at @slowlytee.
The story starts out with Sallie coming back home from her work after a snowstorm only to find that she had accidentally locked her keys inside of her apartment. She finds that there's nobody she can turn to and instead calls a locksmith to help her get back in. Because of the snow storm, the company estimates that it will take them about an hour and a half to the apartment, meaning that Sallie will have to either stand outside in the cold or find a place to stay. While contemplating on the nearby places and how creepy that one guy at the mall was, her new neighbor Kien comes by and offers for her to stay at his place to wait. Having no real other option, she agrees and hangs out at his place to talk. We find out the reason why Kien is out so late is because of his insomnia and he talks about how he manages it, letting himself work on various projects to tire himself out. As a freelance editor, he is able to work on many projects on his own time. Sallie also talks about her job as a bartender and her desire to be a journalist, even if she knows her family doesn't really support her on this decision. Kien offers her a drink and suggests drinking some wild berry tea which Sallie agrees to. After variously talking for a bit, Kien heads to the bathroom and Sallie ends up passing out on the couch. Upon waking up, she finds that she missed the locksmith by two hours, causing her to panic. Kien comes in to tell her that he decided to pay for the fees and got her door unlocked while she was asleep. When asked to pay him back, Kien instead asks for her to go on a coffee date with him which she agrees to. After being given some wild berry tea leaves, Sallie returns back to her apartment. She decides before sleeping to call the company and figure out how much she owns Kien, however, upon calling, she finds that Kien actually cancelled the service stating that he was Sallie's boyfriend and simply unlocked it for her, leading the caller to get annoyed and scold her a bit for wasting her time. Immediately afterwards, Sallie goes to Kien's house and pins him against the wall angry. She more or less curses at Kien and tells him to not mess with her before he laughs stating that her reaction was very interesting.
First things first, I really like this artstyle in this game-it reminds me of an artist that I follow on instagram though it's not the same person. I think that the snowy atmosphere really brings a very good feeling to everything, not only the coldness that Sallie feels but also the contrasting warmness of when she goes into Kien's apartment. All in all, I honestly just really like the art style for this game. Another thing I like is how generally grounded this game is, as everything that happened is something that could feasibly happen in real life, which I think is always a fun thing to see in these types of kinetic novels. Despite how short it is, it's able to showcase both of the character personalities- even certain things like Sallie turning on Kien at the end by coming to his apartment and pushing him against the wall are also foreshadowed in her conversations with Kien.
Sallie initially comes off as a bit more aloof and reserved towards others, though it's completely understandable given that she's locked herself out of her apartment during a snowstorm. She doesn't actually ask Kien initially when she sees him to perhaps let her stay in his apartment until tlhe snowstorm starts, out of both politeness and out of awkwardness. We see this too when she stays in his apartment at least until Kien makes her more comfortable and insists on paying back Kien even after Kien tells her its okay, going so far as to call on the same day to figure out the pricing. At the same time though, we see that her job wasn't supported by her parents and thus she has to fund her own college classes through bartending. There's a sense of not wanting to have to be in debt in others no matter the cost, so I can see where she might have a kind of turn like this near the end. There are definitely bits of personality that shine through from what initially seems like a more polite and passive protagonist.
Kien, until the reveal at the end, is pretty good at hiding his yandere intentions. It's likely that he has been watching Sallie for a while, either because of his insomnia that allows him to watch over her at various times, or if he was lying just to make conversation with her. It also makes you wonder whether or not Kien himself was the one who locked Sallie's apartment door or if she did honestly forget and he took advantage of the situation. I think the most obvious thing he does is drug the tea that Sallie had- I honestly thought he was going to kidnap her after this instance, but instead he just goes out to unlock her door. Honestly, if Sallie had not decided to call the place to figure out how much she owed Kien, she probably wouldn't have found out that he was doing all of these things, like calling her his girlfriend or unlocking the door himself. I actually like this approach since there are a lot of little subtle hints into what's going on and then an ultimate confirmation at the end to see what he actually did. I am curious about his reaction though since he seems pretty smug for someone who was caught stalking and making a copy of her keys.
The game ends pretty abruptly on a cliff hanger. I think that while it could have made a more clean cut ending, the way that the cliff hanger ends give a sense of intrigue for what is to come. However, I can see why people would not like it since it is very abrupt and seemingly comes out of nowhere. Still, I think that it's a fun short game with a yandere in it with a good art style. Try it out if you haven't.

bra fitter from another world, PLEASE
Ok so I was playing an extremely trashy but surprisingly fun idle game called Isekai: Slow Life recently, and of course it's full of big titty anime cheesecake, which I was mostly really enjoying because who doesn't love cheesecake once in a while? But one of the sexy-girl characters who shows up is this fox babe who's trying very hard to be a ninja and just sucks so bad at it and her boobs are so big that I was genuinely kind of alarmed, especially since she's dressed in absolutely the most scantily of clothes. It was so jarring compared to the other, mostly much goofier and/or sexier cheesecake that I actually said, out loud, while alone in my office, "Baby girl, maybe you'd be a better ninja if you had some back support."
Thus: "bra fitter from another world." There isn't even any story in the file yet, just a few notes, but it's about a modern-day seamstress and clothing designer who gets hit by a truck and isekai'ed to a pseudo-Medieval-Europe fantasy world, where she's found unconscious in a field and nursed back to health by a woman who lives in the nearby village. This is all per stereotype, of course. Naturally she wants to do something to thank this woman, and after helping around the house for a few days it finally clicks for her that her host is constantly spilling out of the top of her dress and seems to have some for real back pain, and this is something that Our Hero knows how to fix. So she makes her host a sports bra.
This is, of course, a revolutionary concept to the people of this absurd fantasy world, who have, like, steampunk airships and elves and actual magic but have never heard of a support garment in their lives. Soon everyone with any kind of chest situation in the village, which is, like...most of them, wants one. And now that they're no longer constantly suffering from back pain and they can, you know, run places without hitting themselves the face, they're much more active in the community? They're thinking about their roles in society? In short, Our Hero has accidentally started a feminist revolution on the basis of supportive underwear.
The story even has a villain, which is to say a much more...let's say "traditional" isekai protag who's been living in this fantasy world for years now, has been suddenly deprived of the ability to see the nipples of any woman within his line of sight, and was just recently approached by one of his approximately fifty-seven wives with a comprehensive plan for a new locksmithing business that would have her out of the house a lot. Our Hero is fucking this up for him! How dare she!
I love this story concept, I should start, like. Actually writing it tomorrow.

Democracy, quite literally, under attack
Less than a day after a man died in a failed bombing attack outside the Supreme Court headquarters in the capital Brasília on Wednesday evening, Brazil is still in shock.
Security camera footage showed Francisco Wanderley Luiz, 59, a locksmith and failed city council candidate from the southern state of Santa Catarina, advancing toward the Supreme Court building while holding explosives, drawing the attention of security guards.
After throwing explosive devices toward the famous Lady Justice statue that sits outside the court, the assailant was seen igniting another device and lying on top of it, indicating a suicide attempt. He was killed by the explosion.
His car, parked nearby, had also been detonated after being filled with explosives.
Hours before his failed bomb plot, Mr. Luiz had threatened Brazilian authorities and well-known journalists on social media, whom he branded communists.

In college, I lived in a village that had a castle. It wasn't a real one, or at least not one that was ever used for castle duties: it was some rich dude's creation to dupe tourists into looking at his weird house. Europeans are probably rolling their eyes right now at the idea that any town can have only one castle.
Like horses, some people are real "castle people." You know the exact kind of person I'm talking about. Chances are you know them. Maybe an in-law has way too many pictures of them walking around a similar tourist trap. Every spring, we'd see a whole crowd of these folks. Sometimes they'd take a whole tour bus up the crooked, narrow street leading to the castle. It'd pull up at the corner, blocking my short route to the nice coffee shop, and disgorge a ton of photo-snapping outsiders to incorrect each other about what kind of stone the walls were made out of (fibreglass.)
In winter, it was blissfully silent. Tourists stayed home, and the folks running the tours fell back on collecting employment insurance and shovelling walks. I have to admit that it was also kind of pretty seeing the snow settle on the parapets and outbuildings. When it was like that, it was easy to focus on my studies. I could get as many as fifteen minutes of reading done, which is about as much as I could venture before I was out on the lawn slinging wrenches at a distended Mopar cooling system. College and I didn't really get along.
One summer, I figured I'd make a little bit of extra spending money by running my own tours. I lived nearby, after all, and it wasn't like there was some law forcing me to be a licensed-and-bonded tour guide. All I had to do was put on a stupid hat, roll up to the castle grounds, and ask for fifty bucks for a tour. If I got one or two gullible couples to bite, then I'd have gas money for the month. Did I know anything about castles? No, but I had watched Monty Python movies a lot, and that had to count for something.
All this went great, and I thought about quitting college to pursue the part-time tour guide, part-time unemployed lifestyle. Just as my star was rising, though, it was knocked out of the sky by the other castle bums. They wanted me to pay up protection money, or I'd soon find myself with some unspecified future trouble if I continued to horn in on their racket.
No need, gents, I explained. In fact, my tour doesn't compete with yours at all. It has an innovative, alternative view on history. That's when I led them downstairs to share with them an exciting and profitable new part of the castle. You see, I had gotten locked out of my car many times in the last few years, and had no money for a locksmith. When this happens, you have two options: stop locking your keys in the car, or learn how to pick locks. The greasy would-be tour operators I left behind in the castle's dungeon (that old rich dude was a real freak) can attest to my skills in this department.

Cute thoughts I had after this request from @luckycharm1 where one of William and his darling’s daughters who is as intelligent as him manages to run away and make her way to Baker Street so she can help the detective in anyway possible as Sherlock’s assistant.
I firmly believe that Miss Hudson adores this little girl, she is so insanely helpful and kind to the landlady. Like one time the lock on one of the doors broke and before she could even all for a locksmith to fix it, their little guest already fixed it and found a way to prevent it from happening again. I also think Miss Hudson gives her the old dresses she wore when she was her age or will sew and adjust other dresses for her so they fit her properly. Then at the end of her first week at Baker Street, the little girl will come back after a case with the detective to see a hand sewn stuffed bunny on her bed, a gift from the landlady to make Baker Street feel like home because even it Sherlock gets kicked out, that little girl gets to stay. If she brings the rabbit to crime scenes that Sherlock and Watson take her to and happens to get a little bit of blood on the toy, the moment they get home Miss Hudson is washing the stuffed animal so the little girl has it when she lays down to bed that night.
Dr. Watson is definitely more of her guardian than anyone else, holding her hand when they go to crime scene and standing in front of her to act as a wall between her and a threat. He is very much protective of her, like she was his own child. Watson takes her out shopping at the market and she is able to identify all the best fruits and vegetables for him so they don’t get anything rotten, and a lot of the time these errands end up in him taking her out for ice cream or tea. He also makes sure when every time she is working on an experiment with Sherlock that she is wearing the proper safety gear, glasses, gloves and a bucket of water nearby, he is terrified of her getting a chemical burn or something in her eyes or worse, so even then he is nearby with his medical supplies in case anything goes wrong. Also she may be smart but Watson can always tell when she is under the weather, so try to go out to a crime scene with the detective and before she can get five feet within the door Watson is standing there between her and the door, placing a hand on her shoulder and leading her back upstairs so she can get some proper rest. Watson dreads the day her father tries something to get her back, because he adores this little girl as if she was his own.
Then there is the famous detective, Sherlock, at first he did not know what to make of this little girl. She has a level of intelligence that rivals his own and the way she can keep pace with him is amazing and a bit impressive to him, but she is the daughter of the most infamous criminal mastermind in all of England and she is hiding from him. When she first start assisting him, he cannot decide if he trusts her or not, but after he takes her to her first crime scene and while he is talking to the police officer at the scene, she is able to get a whole list of clues and write them down for him and upon reviewing it, it’s all true and she did not miss anything that he would have found, she did not withhold any information and even swap theories on what happened and who the killer was on the way back to Baker Street and she was right again. After that she is officially the detective’s assistant, and upon meeting or introducing her to anyone that is how he introduces her. Holds her hand whenever they are walking the streets of London as they are discussing their latest case, looking so natural as if they were family. He is always looking out for her and is slightly terrified of the day the Lord of Crime makes a move. She is always under his wing like a duckling fallowing their mother, the detective and his assistant who wants nothing else to be like him one day.
I imagine at some point she will need to know how to defend herself, so perhaps a few self defense lessons would do her good, taking her out to the range in the countryside when there are no cases and teaching her how to shoot, it may not be much and by no means is she allowed to carry the firearm on her all the time, but it will help when she is in a pinch with no other choice and give Sherlock and Watson time to get to her before anything happens to her.
And a time would come where she has to fire it, backed into a corner when following the trail of a killer and she got separated from the detective. When Sherlock and Watson finds her, she is curled up in ball against the alley way, crying the gun tossed aside next to her, and the body of the criminal laying there in a pool of their own blood. She cries and screams about what a monster she was, just like her father. The two try to reassure her that she was not like him and she was backed into a corner without a corner. Sherlock picks her up when she cries herself to sleep and takes back home, back to Baker Street, unaware of the scarlet eyes watching from the shadows.
Anyway cute doodles I did of this idea while at the beach today

why do so many buildings have up to half a dozen locks hanging on the banister outside? i am NOT talking about lovelocks, i mean big serious ugly combination locks, not near any bridge, hanging outside small old apartment buildings. as far as i can guess the number of locks "symbolizes" the amount of vacant apartments, but it's completely unclear what the correlation is, since they're clearly not being used to lock up said vacant apartment, they're just hanging around uselessly.
today a strange development is that a pair of fake(?) handcuffs appeared on a nearby apartment. they seem fake because it has the name of a locksmith etched on it.

good stuff 5-15-24
i got to work from home today!!! i slept in late and then got a coffee and bagel nearby and then worked in my comfy clothes in my home woohoooo
my partner made the incredibly disturbing discovery over the weekend that the lock to my apartment was so fucked that you could open it from the outside, without any kind of key, just by kinda pushing on the keyhole with your FINGER and TURNING IT. to UNLOCK MY APARTMENT DOOR. FROM OUTSIDE. WITH NO KEY. terrifying, actually!!! but the locksmith guy came today and gave me a new lock, which works and actually requires a key to get inside! he said he'd never seen anything like that in 45 years of working with locks lol 🙃 i'm very glad it is fixed now
my partner called me while they were driving home from work and we talked for almost an hour and it was so nice to hear their voice
and now i am gonna watch top chef!

SLEEPY LITTLE ELLA JOINS MUM AND DAD’S TRIP TO THE SHOPS
Our favourite royal baby has been winning hearts left and right ever since her baptism debut, and today, we get to see more of little Lady Ella!
The sleepy tot was photographed dozing off while being carried by her doting dad, Ibrahim, Earl of Harvelle. Lady Ella promptly fell asleep after spending quite some time running around a nearby park. One onlooker shared:
“Ibrahim dropped E and Ella off at the park before heading off to the locksmith’s shop right across the street. Ella was crawling around, picking flowers and giving it to her mum. I’m not sure if they had a security escort, but nobody dared to bother them. Eleanore was really nice and even chatted with the other mums at the park.“
The little royal apparently got tired playing and fell asleep in her mum’s arms. Meanwhile, dad Ibrahim came to Eleanore’s rescue and carried the knocked out baby back home, but not before stopping quickly at the local grocer for some fresh produce.
While it was initially reported that the Harvelles would be calling their swanky city townhouse “home,” it seems as though they’ve chosen to settle in the country, instead. One source close the the couple reveals:
“Ibrahim made sure that they had a place in the city to call their home, so he went ahead and bought the townhouse before the wedding. But when they were gifted the cottage and with Ella’s arrival, they changed their minds and instead built a lovely nest in Briar Park.
One of the main reasons why they’ve ditched the city for the country is peace. Briar Cottage is within the Briar Palace grounds, so they place is very secure and away from curious eyes. Even when they do visit the town centre and shop along Main Street, they’re given their space and respect by the locals. Royal sightings are considered normal in the area, as the Queen often spends long weekends and holidays in Briar Palace. The townsfolk know that the royals value their privacy.
Ibrahim, who’s really big on farming, has also fallen in love with the land and even enjoys befriending and supporting local farmers. Of course, Briar Cottage is the perfect place to raise a baby - what with the fresh air and beautiful greenery right at their doorstep.”
It’s so lovely to see this family be so refreshingly... normal. And how cute is little Ella? We love her little floppy hat and her teeny little sandals!
Eleanore and Ibrahim have gone so far! Who would’ve thought that the two would be enjoying marital bliss after the events caused by their disastrous and scandalous first “engagement”?

[ID: 9 digitally sketched panels in black, white, and grey.]
[Panel 1: The Skull stands in the dark corridor outside the Archives, peaking in. Inside, two RO-bots are emptying the safes into large backpacks set on the ground. Behind them is the unopened Vault door. The panel is stylized so that the corridor is black and The Skull is lined in white.]
[Panel 2: The Skull continues watching' this time the shot is angled from inside the Archives looking out. He is still lined in white. He thinks, "I recognize those. Remote-Operated-bots; not automatons."]
[Panel 3: One of the RO-bots easily rips open another safe, the locking mechanisms breaking with a SFX: all caps crrrack.]
[Panel 4: Close up of The Skull, glaring. Same angle as Panel 2 but closer. He thinks, "Damnit. Can't fight 'em without risking this thing blowing up. But I remember where Locksmith got out; I'll have to pull Scratch out that way."]
[Panel 5: Scene change. Jaime, in silhouette, runs out of the front door of Becile Manor, huffing (SFX: huff huff). It is still dark outside, indicated by the background being grey in this and the following panels.]
[Panel 6: Jaime heads to his car. Nearby, Locksmith looks at him in confusion, asking, "Huron? What are you--" Jaime cuts him off, saying, "Screw this, I'm out!"]
[Panel 7: Jaime sits in the driver's seat. Locksmith grabs the roof of his car by the upper edge of the open driver's window, denting the metal (SFX: crunch). Locksmith's glowing eyes reflect off of Jaime's face. Locksmith asks flatly, "The Skull. Did you kill The Skull." Jaime responds, "The inverter's on, but your buddies got the trigger! You're on your own!"]
[Panel 8: Locksmith watches as Jaime's car quickly tears away, turning down the rough road at high speed with the lights from its tail lights trailing (SFX: all caps screee).
[Panel 9: Locksmith stares after the car, teeth grit and eyes wide. Agent Ester watches him from the corner of her eye, her pupil white in the dark, and says, "… I will extract our renegade now." End ID]

House by the Forest Chapter Two
This is a second chapter of the story about the house I wrote a bit ago. If you haven't read that one, I encourage you to do so!
You might be wondering what a house as well-kept and finely furnished as this is doing sitting unattended at such a time of day. Well, the owner of this fine house was, on this day, away with some business off beyond the hills in the nearby town of Skavia. It was a long road there and back, and as such it was nearly night before they returned, carrying with them a number of parcels including lamp oil and groceries.
The owner in question was a young fellow who went by the name Nalim. He was short for a man born in the southern part of the world, and he also had remarkably dark eyes. He had a sturdy frame from much labor and there were a few scars about him that told stories of harder times than the ones he experienced today. He wore simple clothes, and was rarely seen without a cloak even during hot days. Anyone who knew him would say he was not your typical Southman.
He had few friends and fewer enemies, and the most anyone could say about him was that he kept mostly to himself. He was most often seen around Skavia taking care of groceries, and on some occasions selling his services as both a guide and a locksmith. While he was not unpopular in town, many were hesitant to approach him on account of his somewhat mysterious nature, as well as rumors regarding his past. Some believed he used to work as a mercenary or a caravan raider, or that he had dealings with shady groups. Nalim himself was wholly unbothered by any such rumors and felt that reputation with the town was of little importance so long as he was permitted to go about his tasks there. Upon reaching home, Nalim found that a single scroll had been affixed to his door. Not wishing to be bothered and assuming it was little more than a traveling salesman’s invitation for trade, he simply took it down and tossed it into his fireplace. Nalim took his dinner from the stove for the night before heading off to bed, and was altogether pleased with how the day went. The next morning, however, Nalim was loath to find yet another scroll affixed to his doorfront. He was not accustomed to visitors all the way out here. Few people aimed to travel these days, and fewer still went anywhere besides towns and cities. He had hoped that being so far out of the way would grant him refuge from frequent visitations, but alas, it seemed neither that nor the foreboding forest outside his doorstep was enough to prevent the outside world from bothering him. He decided that if another scroll should find its way upon his doorstep, he would do something about it, but for now, he simply hoped it would resolve itself.
Nalim set off into the forest, lighting his lamp and taking with him only a sack and light crossbow. Wary at first, he crept quietly through the forest. While it was far from the likes of the woods scattered around the North, he knew this forest to be inhabited by dark things which he would rather avoid if possible. He was pleasantly surprised to see that armaments were not needed on this day, as the forest was bright and open, banishing from the shadows any unwholesome things which might be lurking in the dark. Nalim felt at ease as he gathered his firewood and various herbs and natural medicines which would sell well in Skavia, and he made sure to check his traps for anything edible. He checked each trap, and was disappointed with each one. He was about to leave when he found yet another scroll, sitting lightly atop the final trap.
He took it gently so as to not set off the trap, and this time he felt he should open it. He carefully unrolled it and held it up to the sun. It had only one sentence upon it. “Meet at Jafaen’s, Seven Sharp, bring the stone.” Nalim stared at the scroll in a mix of disbelief and fear. He rushed back home, opened the cellar and checked the compartment that was hidden in the back. Inside was a single stone shaped like a twisted crescent. Nalim sighed with relief, but the relief was short-lived. He deliberated for a while about whether he should meet this person or ignore their request, until finally he resolved to go to the meeting. After all, if anyone knew about the stone and its location, he’d have to do something, and if they intended to take it, he’d have to get rid of them and make sure no one found it again.

Most of the people would describe Athenaia as a "kind soul". She wants to give everyone a chance, and tries to understand others before judging them. As a druid she respects nature, and does her own part trying to uphold its balance. Athenaia thinks all life is sacred, and therefor all living things should be treated with respect.
Athenaia loves reading, drawing and music. She isn't afraid of singing in front of others, and dances without a shame, even though she's only decent in that. She is ebullient person, and appreciates even small joys of life, but is rather tentative when it comes to seizing a moment, especially if there is a risk involved. Athenaia is devoted to her family, friends and work.
History:
Athenaia is the firstborn of Dante and Horus Winterbreaker. Dante is an ex-con artist turned fine- and locksmith, and Horus is a Manip (equivalent for sergeant) in Flaming Fist. Both of her fathers had difficult childhoods, but their children grew up in safe and loving environment. Athenaia also has close relations to her extended family, and considers Saga's family as part of it.
Athenaia has had druidic powers since birth, and once they manifested (when she was 5 years old), she has trained among a druidic circle operating in Baldur's Gate's nearby forests. Due to her education Athenaia is used to camping and spending lots of time outdoors. She also knows how to fish and hunt. Tending for flora and fauna, as well as healing, became Athenaia's passion, which in time leads to her founding the Green Haven in Lower City.
Witnessing the unfair healthcare system (aka you get treatment if you have money) of Baldur's Gate for all of her life, Athenaia decided to act when she had just become of age. In time, she managed to first rent, then buy a business space and a small apartment above it. With her fellow druid friend, Nahla, Athenaia opened Green Haven, where she and Nahla would treat people in need, using "pay what you can" principle. They also let people hang out in the space, including urchins and beggars. Healing business expanded to selling self-made healing potions and remedies, selling books related to health, and the duo also added coffee shop into the mix. Green Haven is nowadays a public living room and a healing centre, that is well known especially in Lower City (tho sometimes they also get wealthier folk as their customers).
Athenaia hasn't travelled outside of the Sword Coast, but every now and then she has travelled around with her friend Saga, in order to learn new things, especially for their respective jobs and abilities (Saga is a sorcerer). Other than that, Athenaia has lead a rather peaceful life, the biggest action being dire situtations at work. She has faced hardships (both in hometown and elsewhere) because of her race, but Athenaia has refused to give in to bitterness. She chooses kindness every day, and has noticed it has taken her rather far in life.
Athenaia is very happy with her life and doesn't look for any changes to it. Fate has other ideas, when during a night-out with her brother and friends, a mindflayer nautiloid attacks the city, abducting Athenaia and Saga. Getting mindflayer tadpoles into their brains and surviving the crash-landing of the nautiloid, the duo tries to find a way to cure themselves and get back home to their loved ones. They find fellow survivors, and end up becoming appointed leaders of their motley crew. The biggest adventure of Athenaia's life begins...
