Theories for the new series (or SE!)
Brightheart is gonna have to mentor an apprentice. I can see Stempaw or Graypaw getting blinded and Brightheart coming out of retirement to mentor him before kicking the bucket.
Whoever the new leader of Riverclan is, they're gonna have their personality butchered. If it's Icewing, we are gonna see a Nice Mom :) and if it's Nightheart he'll suddenly be this strong, "noble" (do not know what the writers consider noble to be anymore) guy who's always correct and wise and yack yack yack...
Shadowclan are gonna fall apart again somehow or be a villainous force.
Ivypool's Heart is gonna have a servel or Mountain Lion or some shit.
We are not gonna see the Tribe again for at least a few more arcs, if at all. I can see the Erin's just doing away with them entirely.
We might get 2 connected arcs, but I doubt we're gonna have a 4 arc story again, sadly. Too many people whined about "continuity lockout" so now we're stuck with Monster Of The Week.
We are not seeing Sol or Sleekwhisker again. But we MAY see Bloodclan again, or Warriorclan.
Leafstar is going to die.
We MAY get Ivystar, I really hope we don't.
Thunderclan's current youth "stockpile" is dangerously low. Either none of Spotfur's kits are getting mates, there's gonna be more cross-clan drama somehow, or we're about to see ThornBlossom 2.0. I'm betting it on Molewhisker, Stormcloud, or Hollytuft. Or Shellfur and Fernstripe are about to have a litter of their own and the Erins try and squeeze them together.
Waspwhisker is never coming home, or he is about to come home in Changing Skies.
Ivypool is gonna have another litter and give up being deputy for it to be a perma Queen because she loves Being a Mommy :) and that's where Ivypool's Heart truly belongs and I think I just shaved 4 years of my lifespan typing that
Cloudtail dies and gets a huge fuss over it while Sandstorm's body still rots in the middle of nowhere. I'm not bitter about that at all.
Bristlefrost comes back.

Well, been a while since I've done a...casual update? On what I'm doing in-game?
Keeping any spoilers out because some of this nonsense is in DT zones and there is an embargo, so don't expect me to get specific.
I'm halfway done with the Shadowbringers Shared FATEs! Wasn't expecting that to ever happen, but since I'm working on training up two new jobs, well...I'm glad it's happening now. (Pictomancer is at 85, btw!)
Since we're getting more bicolor gemstones in DT FATEs, I'm going to need the older places cleared out so that I have somewhere I can funnel gemstones until I get all the shops unlocked in DT. Speaking of -- I finished the first of the DT Shared FATE zones! Currently sitting on ~200 bicolor gemstones. I'm gonna need to keep an eye on how many I have so that I don't cap them.
Bard is at 99, and I've started getting some of the other 90 jobs leveled as well -- Machinist is now Lv 92, which means I can rely on it for a bit while I clear out the next round of DT FATEs.
And, for the first time in my casual-player life...I attempted a current EX using party finder. It took 2 lockouts, but I helped get EX1's health down into the 70s-80s area, past the first "phase" of the fight. Not gonna be able to attempt again until next weekend, but I'd say that's a pretty good start...since I'm still a greenhorn to the whole "playing Extreme content current" thing.
So the rest of this week I'm gonna spend time gearing up on tomes so that I can upgrade my Black Mage gear...and collect as much material as I need for the new materia...and get the jump on my crafters so that I can meld materia myself eventually.
But I at least want to make sure that my Black Mage is as kitted out as possible before next weekend. I've already picked up the hat, gloves, and a few accessories .I just...need to get everything else....

Welcome to role requeue tech Support, how can we help you?
Sombra
Role: Support Health: 200
No lore dump for this one because... well, like I said before, I don't think Sombra needs any substantial changes to her design or backstory in order to fit as a support! This is an opinion once shared by the actual devs, considering she was originally envisioned as a support character before being reiterated to the hacking assassin playstyle we saw enter the game back in late 2016, with the other aspects of that old concept being saved and eventually implemented into who we now know as Kiriko. Personally though, I always thought Sombra would've made more sense as a support the whole time, especially back when OW1's support roster was so comically small. I made iterations on a concept for her to be reworked into a support for the real game, but in the current state of OW2, with a much more robust Support lineup and Sombra's newly reworked playstyle being the best she's ever felt, I don't really feel that need anymore to see Sombra be changed to a Support in Overwatch itself... but luckily, that old spirit is perfect to help me with this alternate reality version of the game where she's been here (in the support role) all along.
Admittedly, while I always knew I wanted Sombra to be a support the day I came up with this AU, the exact details of her kit eluded me until recently. Ironically, her recent rework making her arguably more damage-focused than ever gave me the creative nudge needed to complete the concept for this new kit. Let's get into that now, shall we?
This Sombra mirrors her current iteration pretty closely actually, with all of her current abilities having a mirror here, including her primary fire, Machine Pistol. While not something that feels super obvious for a support, I don't really have any better ideas for what'd be her means of self-defense. Sombra isn't as much of an active direct healer, since I want to avoid the entire Support cast just being "shoot to heal" like most of the healers added since OW1's initial release. While obviously not as potent as the DPS counterpart, her SMG remains a rapid-fire hitscan weapon that can do some decent damage in a pinch. Like Lucio, Sombra should never really have much downtime where she isn't shooting.
So what is her main healing mechanic then? Well, that brings us to her first activated ability, and it's a doozy: Hack. Hack is used similarly to how you're familiar with. Hold secondary fire over a target, and Sombra will hack them in about half a second. What hacking does is... complicated. For one, you can still hack health packs like before, though now healing dealt by a hacked health pack will contribute to your ultimate charge, though possibly at a reduced rate. You can also hack non-player entities to deactivate them temporarily.
However, Hack now has two charges. Why? Because now you have almost double the possible hack targets.
Hacking can now be performed on allies, boosting their capabilities briefly. For the next 6 seconds, the hacked ally will have increased move speed, increased reload speed, and increased ability recharge speed, as well as be healed for 25 hps. If the ally takes damage however, their healing rate is halved to 12.5 hps for the next two seconds. Hack is Sombra's most readily available means of healing, but its additional benefits may provide more direct benefit.
However, Sombra can still hack enemies, which provides unique effects. The ability lockout aspect... I can't decide if it should stay at all, but if it does then it's reduced to 0.5 seconds, just enough to cancel active abilities. For the full 6 second duration though, Hacked enemies still are visible through walls, but also have an additional attribute: any damage dealt to them will heal the attacker by up to half of the damage dealt! This lifesteal debuff mechanic is Sombra's most potent means of healing allies, but still isn't her last.
For either variant of Hack though, there's a small cooldown before you can apply it to a target after it wears off, about 2-4 seconds. Hacking enemies also takes slightly longer than allies, but taking damage during the hack only cancels it and disables the ability for a second.
Sombra's other team support ability is... and brace yourself for this clever name, Antivirus. I'm a genius, I know. Similar to her new Virus ability, Sombra throws a glowing cube of data straight ahead through the air. However, on impact with terrain or an ally, the cube explodes, providing a burst of positive benefits to allies in the blast radius. Antivirus will cleanse allies of debuffs, including Hacks from enemy Sombras, though not provide a period of invulnerability like (normal) Kiriko's Protection Suzu. Instead, it also provides a small burst of 50 healing, and also gives allies a healing boost buff, doubling the healing they recieve for the next 3 seconds. Pair this up with Hacking an ally and you double the healing output to a whole 50 healing per second! Unless they take damage though, then it gets hacked back down to 25. The projectile has no effect on enemies, but can be blocked by enemy barriers or other anti-projectile abilities. Antivirus, similar to its main game counterpart, is best comboed with Hack for best results, and allows Sombra to have bursts of high healing output to bail allies out of a dire situation.
To bail herself out of a tight spot though, that's where Translocator comes in. The ability functions just like its current iteration: throw a device, then warp to it, cleansing yourself of debuffs and providing a moment of intangibility while you travel.
Translocator has a bonus aspect that should be familiar to some: for a few seconds after the translocator activates, you become invisible to enemies, and gain a personal move speed boost. However, taking any action besides reloading will end the invisibility early, as will taking damage. Going close to an enemy also reveals you, but doesn't end the stealth on its own. Yeah, Stealth isn't an automatic passive here, instead it's just a bonus effect of Translocator. This isn't a new idea actually, this is just how Sombra works in the Trials of Sanctuary PvE mode, and presumably other PvE modes as well due to the potentially broken implications of permanent passive invisibility against AI opponents. While I don't think it's imbalanced in a PvP setting for normal Sombra, I feel like it'd be a bit much and a bit unneeded for Support Sombra. Still useful for making a clean getaway, but this Sombra doesn't need to make the same ambush plays from nowhere that the DPS version does. It also encourages Sombra to be more active with her team while making her more vulnerable to the enemy in a way that feels fair. Just feels more appropriate in general.
Her Ultimate is similar in concept to EMP, in that it hacks all possible targets at once, but only affects one team still. The difference is that it's your own team instead. System Boost causes a massive stream of data to pour out of Sombra, energizing herself and all nearby allies. For eight seconds, all allies in range, including Sombra herself, gain the boosts granted by an allied Hack, meaning bonuses to reload speed, ability cooldown recharge speed, movement speed, and passive healing. The data tendrils also have a bonus effect: any healing gained from damaging a hacked enemy will also be granted to any allies in the chain. A teammate connected to the System Boost dealing 100 damage to a hacked enemy will cause everyone connected by the chain to be healed by 50 HP. Sombra herself during the ultimate will also gain a bonus recharge boost to Hack specifically, doubling its cooldown speed. Note that Hack doesn't work on allies already connected to the chain, so go ham on hacking enemies to pump up the total healing the team receives.
This isn't as simple of a Support ultimate as "you have 1000 HP for a second" or "you get healed so much the only lethal things are one-shots", but I like the team element and skill expression this adds over simpler ultimates. It's kind of like a mix of Kitsune Rush and Rally in a way. I wonder if it'd be overpowered, but there'd be ways to dial it down if necessary.
So that's Sombra as a Support! I feel largely satisfied with this, it gets a little complicated at parts but I like the idea of a character that really requires resource management and target priority. She has multiple ways to heal, but can't heal consistently on her own since all her options rely on a cooldown, and hacking allies directly is relatively weak healing compared to lifesteal. She also has strong utility available from hacking allies, but again, this is limited by its cooldown. I think fine-tuning Hack's availability, like increasing it to three charges but reducing its duration or something, would be the main adjustment to this concept I'd make for balance. Hard to get a grasp on something like this without getting to actually play it. Other than that I'm decently proud of this one. Also this is the first Support kit I've actually written out! Still need to actually write out Tracer's kit, since I've only mentioned the basics in the initial post. Might do that next, but might also do another easy one next. I'm thinking "Ashe", that's gonna be another fun one.

unhinged cecil rambling time, caster edition fanfest cant come soon enough
in no particular order (and regular text size) heres my thoughts/ideas/babbles about the next caster job/what i think would be neat for a caster job/apparently astro thoughts?
one really nice thing about caster jobs is the weapon can be anything so i hope it wont be just. a stick. or something. or another goddamn sword like come on square give me a mace or a bell or a fancy schmancy focus or magical tattoos or prayer beads or... idk just go wild! be unique! the world is your oyster and i wanna go shucking!
similar vein, i wonder if it'll have a raise... red mage's damage has (relatively) suffered for having easy access to verraise and magick barrier (a genuinely great defensive cooldown), and summoner's damage is likewise lesser for having a raise of it's own compared to black mage... would they add another "selfish" caster? or would they leave black mage as the "selfish" caster, like they did with the "selfish" samurai?
...also, how mobile will it be? endgame fights are decently interesting to plan movement for on black mage and red mage, so i hope they don't just make it a sparkly phys ranged...
green mage is already very hinted at (re: the earring krile picks up at the end of current patch) but, since it's previous iteration as a debuff job probably wouldn't work well in current ffxiv, it'll probably be more green-themed than anything. so... what's green themed? just the color? plants? would plants/nature be distinct enough from conjurer and white mage? would it be like sage where it's just a name reference? will krile become green mage and the player job be something entirely different? who knows! its baseless speculation hours!
(for the record i kinda hope it's just gonna be krile's job if it does come true, the idea of being a green mage doesn't really inspire any interest from me... but maybe its just a lame name and it'll look sick in game and i'll change my mind lmao)
an illusion based caster could be neat as hell imo - it could be a cool take on a pictomancer, it just fights with 'drawn' glamours that explode? we already have examples of creatures like the ink tiger in Rokkon (though that could arguably just be a fancy carbuncle?) and we have ink mages (though they're effectively arcanists) in the Heroes Gauntlet dungeon that could serve as inspiration, though you could run into problems with another book caster... maybe a paintbrush weapon? would it be big enough? an illusion job could really go wild with particle effects too... just imagine a big sketchy lb3 with paint splatters and lots of color!
time mage! clocks! dots! gimme a dot job square you cowards! ...but i'll be the first to admit this idea is the least likely, just bc of how burst focused this game is in general... dot jobs dont like when things go untargetable (so every ulti and several savages and extremes and dungeon bosses and trash mobs dying) so it'd be such a pain to balance... probably not worth the headache and better to play a different game for that power fantasy tbh
on that note, the astro rework - i'm very interested to see where it goes. i love astro's aesthetics and can play it pretty well, but playing it for any longer than a lockout absolutely murders my hands/wrists (even after i've moved keybinds multiple times it's a recurring problem) so i'm curious if they'll aim for a faster pace again. astro's current kit is undeniably strong as hell, but it's so clunky and irritating at times (fuck astrodyne, all my homies hate astrodyne) i wonder what they'll prune from it. change cards to aoe cards, perhaps? remove the seal mechanic? go back to time mage ideas? go harder into heal-over-time effects versus white mage's strong burst heals? would that even be viable? we'll need to wait for the media tour for actual info on this, unfortunately - job action trailers aren't great at piecing together what heals actually do. should see some neat animations at least.
#cecil.txt#...i needed to put these rambles somewhere and i've tormented my static far too much with these recently#so now i get to subject y'all to them :)#...tbh the illusionist idea is something i've thought of as a personal job for nailah#since her whole thing about perceptions would lend really nicely to controlling offensive glamours

HOW TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT TRAILER HITCH
I am Harold Kiefer and I own the Hitch Corner, which has 2 stores in Colorado. I opened in 1990, so this is my 34th year of business. So I have seen just about everything & one of the main questions I get from customers is how to choose the correct trailer hitch. I hope the following will help you as well, but if it does not answer your questions, please reach out to me at [email protected]. I will answer all your questions to the best of my ability.
Choosing the correct trailer hitch for towing involves several factors, including the weight of the trailer, the weight capacity of your vehicle, and the type of hitch that is appropriate for your vehicle and trailer. Here are some steps to follow when choosing a trailer hitch:
Determine the type of hitch required for what you will be towing. There are several types of hitches available & The type of hitch you need will depend on the type of trailer you are towing and your vehicle’s towing capacity.
A) 5th wheel hitch for a 5th wheel trailer
B) Gooseneck hitch for a gooseneck trailer or with an adapter to pull a 5th wheel trailer
C) Rear or bumper pull trailer
Determine your vehicle’s weight capacity: Your vehicle’s owner’s manual should list the maximum weight it can tow. This number is usually listed as the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). Be sure to include the weight of any passengers or cargo in your vehicle when calculating this number. This is a big issue as most people forget to include the weight of the passengers.
Determine the weight of the trailer: The weight of the trailer is also important when choosing a hitch. This includes the weight of the trailer itself, as well as any cargo it will be carrying. Make sure to choose a hitch that is rated to handle the weight of your trailer.
For 5th wheel hitch, the hitch depends on the size of bed the truck has. Currently, over 80% of all trucks sold have a short bed – 6 ½’ bed or shorter. NOTE: 5 ½’ bed trucks are really not designed to tow a 5th wheel trailer but it can be done
A) If you have a long bed truck, then everything is pretty simple. You just need a fixed 5th wheel hitch that can handle the weight of the trailer. We have under bed mount kits (and for those trucks that have the factory puck system) and above bed kits that have rails in the bed. Completely user choice but the B&W gooseneck with Companion 5th wheel hitch is our most popular for long bed trucks.
B) For short bed trucks, and here I am talking about 6 ½’ bed trucks, you have various options. However, the first item to check is if the trailer you are interested in is a a trailer designed for short bed trucks. These will be usually be noted as 88 degree turn trailers, which means you can make an 88 degree turn with a short bed using a fixed 5th wheel hitch. If it is designed for a short bed, then you have the option of using a fixed 5th wheel hitch but s slider is still recommended.
C) For most short bed trucks, you will need a slider 5th wheel hitch to avoid hitting the cab of the truck or your back window with the trailer. Here are the various options: – Manual Slider 5th wheel hitch. This means you have to get out of the truck once to unlock the slider. You then get back in the truck, hold the manual on the brake control & pull forward. The hitch will slide & lockout when it gets to the back. When you are in town or trying to get into a tight space or most common, getting into a gas station, you will want the hitch slid back. When you are getting ready to get on the highway or you are traveling at higher speeds, you will want to be slid forward. You do not want the weight of the trailer behind the axle. Again, like the fixed, you can do an under bed mount, above bed with rails in the bed, as well as for factory puck mounts. To slide the hitch forward, you just do the opposite. Jump out to unlock the slider, get back in the truck, hold the manual on the brake control, back the truck up. The hitch will slide & automatically lock in the forward towing position. – Automatic slider. This unit will automatically slide backwards when you turn. You never have to get out of the truck & you are never looking over your shoulder trying to determine if you need to slide your manual slide 5th wheel hitch. The most popular hitch here is made by Pull-Rite and requires a capture plate to be mounted to the king pin of the trailer. It just mounts with a set screw, so very easy to install but the capture plates are specific to the king pin on the trailer. We have these for under bed, rails & factory puck systems.
– Final option, is to change the king pin on the trailer to a sidewinder which moves the pivot point back as much as 19” and you would then use a fixed 5th wheel hitch
For gooseneck trailer, the B&W under bed gooseneck is our most popular. The ball flips over when not in use & we can add a Companion 5th wheel hitch if you wish to tow a 5th wheel trailer. Or, we have adapters that adapt your 5th wheel trailer to be towed with a gooseneck ball. Biggest issue here is to verify if your trailer is under warranty. If so, verify that the warranty will allow you to use an adapter to pull their trailer.
For Rear or Bumper Pull Trailers. You need to choose the appropriate hitch class: Trailer hitches are divided into classes based on their weight capacity. Class I hitches are rated for up to 2,000 pounds, while Class V hitches can handle up to 27,000 pounds. Choose a hitch that is rated for at least the weight of your trailer. These are frame mounted & built for very specific year, make & models of vehicles. I would never suggest a universal hitch. We also recommend a professional to install the hitch as you will also need wiring for the trailer lights. You can cause a lot of problems to your vehicles computer system if not wired correctly.
Weight distribution & sway control – Some trailers will require a sway control or weight distribution systems, that can make towing safer and more stable. A weight distribution system distributes weight to the front axle of the towing vehicle, as well as distributing the weight of the trailer between the towing vehicle and the trailer itself. Almost all of the weight distribution systems we sell have sway control built into them. You want a system that can handle the full weight of the trailer fully loaded, but you do not want to go overboard. You can actually make the ride rougher. Our most popular units are the Equalizer and Curt TruTrack 4 points of sway control with weight distribution system. The easiest way to know if you need a weight distribution is if you hook up the trailer & the rear drops to the ground, you NEED a weight distribution system. Moreover, check the weight rating on your hitch. If your trailer is heavier than the weight carrying capacity, you will need a weight distribution system to reach the weight distribution weight capacity listed on your hitch.
Depending on your needs, you may also want to consider additional features such as towing mirrors, hitch lock and RV accessories like levelers and sewer hoses.
Installation: Finally, make sure to have your trailer hitch installed by a professional to ensure it is installed correctly and safely. Every thing can be done as a DIY, BUT you want to make sure these items are installed correctly as you do not want any issues down the road due to failure to install or setup correctly. The Hitch Corner specializes in all types of trailer hitch, 5th wheel & Gooseneck hitches, wiring and weight distribution systems.
By following these steps, you can choose the correct trailer hitch for your vehicle and trailer, and ensure safe and reliable towing.
Please let the Hitch Corner help you decide the best hitch and features for your vehicle and trailer. We can also install all of these products as well.

Emergency Locksmith Services in Raamsdonksveer: How to Stay Prepared
If you're in Raamsdonksveer and want to stay prepared for emergency locksmith situations, here are some steps you can take to ensure you're ready for anything:
1. Keep Emergency Contacts Handy
Find a reliable locksmith in Raamsdonksveer and store their contact information in your phone. Look for locksmiths who offer 24/7 emergency services and have good reviews.
Research a couple of locksmiths in advance, so you're not scrambling in an emergency.
2. Understand Common Emergency Scenarios
Locked out of home or car: One of the most common reasons for calling an emergency locksmith.
Lost or stolen keys: If this happens, it’s critical to change the locks immediately.
Broken keys: Keys can break in the lock, making it impossible to use the door until the locksmith arrives.
3. Know the Local Regulations
Ensure the locksmith is licensed and follows local laws. Some areas require locksmiths to have certifications.
Verify their identity upon arrival by asking for identification and proof of licensing.
4. Consider Lock Maintenance
Regularly check your locks for wear and tear to avoid sudden breakdowns.
Upgrade locks if necessary. High-security locks can prevent lockouts and improve overall safety.
5. Spare Keys and Lockboxes
Keep a spare key with a trusted neighbor or in a secure lockbox.
Avoid hiding keys in obvious places like under the doormat or flowerpots.
6. Stay Calm During Emergencies
In case of a lockout, remain calm and assess your options before calling a locksmith.
Use a trusted locksmith instead of resorting to DIY lock-picking or breaking windows, which could be costlier.
7. Emergency Kits
Carry an emergency kit with items like a flashlight, so you're not stuck in the dark waiting for help.
Some also suggest having a basic tool kit for non-lock-related emergencies.
By following these steps, you'll be prepared for locksmith emergencies in Raamsdonksveer and can act quickly if a lock-related problem arises.
