Wisharawish is well-known for his collaboration with local and indigenous textile craftsman across Thailand, and for this special event, we will be showcasing a unique collaboration between Wisharawish and local Chiang Mai weaving studio Cotton Farm : Chiang Mai Craft. This collection was shown in the Elle fashion week in Bangkok 2019, and the Amazon Fashion week 2019 / Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo S/S 2020, as well as gracing the cover of Vogue Thailand and amongst other high profile publications. The event will kick-off on the 18th afternoon with an mini-exhibition opening and creative talk with Wisharawish Akarasantisook and Premruedee Kullasu, where we will discuss the process and inspirations behind the collection. Day 8 : Traditional Fabric Siapa sih yang bisa menyangsikan keindahan kain tapis lampung? Perbedaannya dari kain-kain adat kebanyakan, benang emas yang ada di kain tapis itu dijahit bukan ditenun. Jadi benar-benar handmade tanpa mesin. Dibuat oleh pengrajin yang sabar dan telaten pastinya. Tidak mudah menjahit kain tapis, iya saya tahu. Karna waktu SD (di Bandar Lampung) kesenian Tapis Lampung masuk dalam muatan lokal di sekolah. Sekarang, kebanyakan setiap rumah mengoleksi kain tapis lampung yang dijahit bersusun ayat kursi.
