Hi! I’m in my third year of undergrad, studying Classical Studies (aka Ancient Greek and Roman history, culture etc) :) I’m hoping to apply for a masters in cultural history and resource management for next year so I can go on to work in museums and archives!

@localbisexualgenius ngl I did not even think about this when seeing the tweet initially because tbh I basically view Tristamp Elendira as a completely different original character. Thanks for bringing this point up fr it's good to consider.

Just some thoughts below vv

This sucks.

I miss Trimax Elendira 'cause she is cool af but at the same time I'm interested in the Tristamp original storyline about the plant-human experimentation. I'd enjoy Tristamp Elendira so much more if they were a different or original character. Having Tristamp Elendira be tied to that name is a bit maddening now. Besides the whole nail thing and being allied with Knives there's really nothing tying Trimax Elendira to Tristamp Elendira.

I think ideally Tristamp I'd want my cake and to eat it too—a more Trimax Elendira along with a character who is like Tristamp Elendira but is original. However, the cards we've got are the cards we've been dealt I'm afraid.

Also of note: this is a machine translated tweet from Japanese. I'm not a translator but I know that languages often lose specific meaning when run through a machine translation. idk if the part of the tweet translated as "neither male nor female" is literal or if Nightow used a specific term that google translated into that.

Not trying to defend or give too much benefit of the doubt or refute the point brought up by the tagger (seriously, thanks for bringing it up!), but it's just a thought that popped into my head considering some of the gender shenanigans my weeb ass has seen in various fandoms.

I don't think I'll say anything more. I have not dipped my toe into discourse and would like to refrain from doing so. However, I did not want this point to go unaddressed because it's something serious to consider that I missed on my first pass. Please do not flame me I'm just a guy who likes the funny donut guy >.<
