A couple of things are happening at the moment, but I’ve managed to finish the poses for Lobelia. She was incredibly fun to pose, as I wanted to push her expressions a little more to the extreme. Gotta love those silver spoons, hahaha!! Lobelia marks the end of my list of hobbits that I planned to do for the LOTR project. My next focus will be on (mostly) scarier characters introduced in and/or related to Moria: something I’ve been very excited for for a long time ;) ***hint hint nudge nudge Shadow and Flame*** Awww yissss!!!

Lobelia Sackville-Baggins! Yisssss!!! So Lobelia was incredibly fun, yet very tricky to figure out. I enjoyed trying to push the character a bit more, but I found it hard to make the shapes work. I was tweaking a lot of things even in the rendering stage. I’m also trying to wrap my mind around planning for the exposure in a painting. In this case, I tried to work with very dark shadows. This meant that I was able to play more with the colours of the lights, which was very fun to figure out!
