Titans: Children of Uranus and Gaea & other divine creatures that do not fit the Olympian category. by —thynovel

The Titans were the deities in Greek mythology that preceded the Olympians. They were the children of the primordial deities Uranus (heaven) and Gaea (earth). This includes Nyx, even though she’s considered a force with immense capabilities. I hope this post helps a few readers understand certain plot points + explain the importance of the Titans.

Notes + things I didn’t add: Ares and Eris (goddess of strife/quarrels) were often seen together because they had matching personalities that enjoyed watching chaos. Rhea was extremely venerated in ancient times. Keep in mind that in Ancient Greek women were put on a pedestal and claimed to have "fulfilled their destiny" once they had children. That's why Rhea earned more respect than Hera — because she was the ultimate motherly figure and what the Ancient Greeks considered an honorable woman. She was that invisible ideal most women of the time wanted to follow. Rhea was used by the Ancient Greeks to explain the functionality of mothers in society. Explaining that it's virtuous to protect the next generation.

There are other Titans that haven't been introduced to Lore Olympus. I only included the ones that are active and contribute to the plot.

Y, como paradoja suprema, es justo la actividad científica la que lo pone en marcha: el investigador dehesaber que le está permitido trabajar sólo con materiales del tiempo de la muerte, y, antes que suponer que puede leer en el tiempo de la vida y en sentido originario, deberá, cual nuevo héroe teseico de la mêtis, encontrar un camino de salida, indicando dónde reside el verdadero enigma, devolviendo la vida al corazón del laberinto, justo en el momento en el que constata y produce su muerte.
