Life is a Bowl of Sweet Cherries.

Hey, Ava. I lost my arm and most of my fingers in a lawn mowing accident at age 4. I’m 27 now so I’ve clearly adapted and try to do as much as the next able-bodied person. My experiences have been more traumatic to my psyche than my physical self. Bowie’s music has helped save me from drowning in my own misery so many times. Music has always been a medicated comfort zone for me. He always speaks for the forgotten and lonely, instilling a sense of hope and pride in all the so-called outcasts and freaks. I am truly indebted to the beauty, magic and inspiration he gives to others. You are fortunate to have ever been apart of his creative endeavors. I often feel out of place in my own generation. Always feeling nostalgic for a time l never even knew. If only we had time machines! I’m making paintings of icons out of cosmetic grade make-up. It’s called Art Officially. People wear fake-up so it makes sense to make art with what they paint on their faces. The paintings are beautiful, but they will eventually melt and start to morph over time even after using fixative. I’m starting a new painting for Bowie and l can make you one for you if you like. Is there an address l can send fan mail or art to? It would be a dream to sit and chat with Bowie and thank him for all he has done. I know he is pretty inaccessible these days.
