LMK OC COMPETITION - SIGN UPS

The time has come once again to sign up for the LMK OC Competition!! We're here to celebrate the creativity within the fandom and share our OCs in a friendly poll based tournament.

Last year, we had a total of 32 competitors but we're changing things up a bit this year by allowing 64 people in all to compete. Additionally, as you may have noticed, our blog has gone through a bit of redecorating as we now have a theme this comp: Halloween/Autumn.

Please read the rules before signing up. There were minor revisions made from last time's rules.

RULES:

Only 1 submission per person.

If you competed in our last competition, you are still allowed to join this one. However, you cannot submit the same OC as last time, I will not include them. You must enter a different OC!

The OC must be derived from Lego Monkie Kid in some way.

The OC must belong to you. Do not submit an OC that belongs to someone else.

You must provide an image of your OC. It is required to participate. It can be either traditional or digital, skill level does not matter.

This is an event for all ages. Gore, references to sexual content, etc. will not be permitted

Bigotry of any form will not be tolerated

Propaganda is allowed and encouraged. Be sure to @ this blog so I can reblog it. However if there is bullying found between creators, you will be disqualified.

Do not hate on or bash anyone's OC. If you are one of the competitors, again, you will get disqualified for doing this.

Due to scheduling conflicts irl as well as the increase of competitors, I will not be able to change OC images/descriptions during the competition. With that being said, the absolute last day to edit your submission will be September 3rd. This can be done through DMs.

I just realized it's been a whole year since last round! Wow! Want to go again? The form will close a week from now.

RULES

No real people allowed.

Please, don't submit the same character multiple times. You can submit multiple, different characters from the same media.

Repeating characters from last year is allowed except for the winners: Phoenix Wright and Professor Layton.

The number of participants this year will depend on how many submissions there are. I don't want to go higher than 32.

The "Is your character canonically bisexual?" question will be used while picking characters for the bracket. If multiple characters only have 2 submissions, canon characters will take priority over headcanons. Otherwise it will be ignored.

Last year, before the poll started, I decided that in the event of a tie, the two characters would team up. This resulted in TWO winners. Some people were upset by this, however, so I'm changing it up by copying @/autismswagsummit.

In the event of a perfect tie, the poll will be redone, with the addition of a character who didn't make it into the bracket the first time! The winner of that 3 way poll would continue into the next round.

Polls will last for a week each.

At long last, it's time for YOU to decide which pasta shape is the hottest of them all. All polls will run for a week, and pasta shapes are loosely grouped by pastas with holes and pastas without. The seeding of the brackets was done by a Real Italian to prevent any bias from the poll creator. May the hottest pasta win!

For the anniversaries of The List (S11E14; Nov. 14, 2007 onwards), we should just host a (vote/popularity based) tournament in the fandom for annual lists of our own. I think it’d be neat.

Sure, the two agreed to reach a consensus of a truce, but there was nothing said about continuing to be petty. “Think he’d be okay with you leaving me for dead?” “Wouldn’t need to,” the monkey sniffed, stomping his foot as well (Macaque could not suppress the smirk even if he tried). “You’re dead as is. Basically a walking corpse who got off lucky, yeah.” “And the Venerable Monkey King’s kindness knows no bounds!” “YOU–! You wouldn’t know venerable if it bit you in the ass!” “I am, frankly, not a huge fan of being bitten in the ass.” He shrugged. “But I won’t judge.
