     Not  even  halfway  through  her  usual  routine ,  a  loud  CRACK  rang  out  that  was  then  proceeded  by  the  screams  of  her  fellow  dancers ;  more  gunfire   following  the  initial  shot  that  left  Marceline  covered  in  the  spilt  blood  of  strangers .  One  after  another ,  men  in  suits  continued  to  fall  while  she  remain  PARALYZED  with  fear  --  the  scene  replaying  in  her  head  while  well  manicured  fingernails  begin  picking  at  the  dried  gore  on  her  skin .  

     If  it  hadn’t  been  for  HIM ,  she  might’ve  ended  up  with  a  bullet  hole  on  the  grungy  club  floor  with  the  rest  of  the  gang  members  she  knew  to  be  frequent  visitors  ;  her  boss  unafraid  to  THREATEN  the  girls  with  his  shady  ties  when  they  acted  up . She  hadn’t  been  able  to  look  him  in  the  eye  until  now ,  fleeting  glimpses  all  Celine  was  able  to  manage  while  they  kept  their  heads  low  to  avoid  being  hit .
