He cant put a label on things he felt for the blond when he spent his whole life working to get a better one, what does he know about love? Mike whos always been someone in the receiving end of affection fell for him after- for a while they both thought their feelings were unrequited ( cue banter) They both thought that the other person hated their guts. Mike personally never thought to name the feelings he got for Norton, he's used to the way that people treat him like an idol. HC that Bernard made sure he thought Mike to always appear as if he was someone to never be attained. He didnt want him to get distracted by things such as feelings. So when one time maybe, after they got closer as friends and their banter gets friendlier instead of deadlier, it struck him right at the heart that maybe he does like Norton, or maybe it was just the way he laughed at something dumb that he said, maybe it was just the way that his dimples peeked when he smiled at him- maybe it was just the heat. (EEK) - after copious amounts of slowburn in my head. - they HAVE to get to know each other thoroughly. or it wont work out in my brain.. - the dynamic is strangers-enemies-frenemies-friends-lovers- and the secret third thing is soulmates. - they are soulmates to me. < thats how i think they got together anyway (it applies to most of the skinships i have for them but sometimes it varies (no it varries for most everything) i forget i like different scenarios with them but its almost the same formula. - Mike and Norton got together when they almost knew the other person like the back of their hand, they are in synch most of the time, know their likes/dislikes but they still banter whenever they can. (its a love language) - I like to think that theyre not that PDA, but theyre PDA in the most subtle ways like holding each others hand/waist, making sure the other person has the food they like on their plate, fixing each others clothes.. just that type of stuff.. i love it a lot..
