Nightmare or Warning?

I can still remember my dream last night. It was a saturday and I decided to stay at home instead of going to Quiapo and Divi. I felt the earthquake but it was just a mild tremor. I felt at least 4 aftershocks. So I decided to turn on the television. ABS CBN had a Breaking News about the earthquake. "Magnitude 5.5 hits Ayala Avenue Makati"

Crowded buses and Criminals

Last night, on my way home, I witnessed a crime. Inside the crowded bus, there were 2 men in their mid 20's standing at the center. I was annoyed at them because they were blocking the tv (I was watching PBA). The crime happened when the bus stopped at Estrella. The two men were restless. Then a man in polo barong passed them, the man standing at the left side transferred to where the other guy was. I realized they were criminals when the guy in polo barong said "Wait kuya, nawawala phone ko...teka lang baka nalaglag sa upuan" I wanted to hit the two guys with my umbrella or even shout that they were the ones who stole the guy's phone. I wanted to help but I was scared at the time, thinking there were other accomplices inside the bus. ========================================================= I know most of these people are compelled to do these because of some unexplainable or unresolvable reasons. But, these guys, they look healthy, they can walk and talk, that means they can get a decent job. Well, most filipinos are just too lazy to get themselves decent jobs. What should we do about them and these crimes? Poverty is not a valid reason and the government is not the only one to blame.

Time to rearrange my life...

I've been messing up at work since I got back from vacation 2 weeks ago. I must say, the vacation wasn't a good idea. This isn't me. I don't know what has gotten into me. Maybe I've been thinking too much about how to deal with things. Dear God help me please. I love my job, help me get back on track please.

Friend: So, confirmed buntis nga si (girl's name), nabuntis ng officemate niya... Me: So? Ikakayaman ko ba yan? Friend: Just so you know, kaya niya tayo binlock at hindi nagpaparamdam. Ang tanga tanga niya, alam naman niyang wala siyang makukuha in return kay guy. Pinagparausan lang sya. Me: Ok lang yun friend, hindi naman ikaw yung nabuntis. Buhay niya yun, nagpakatanga siya kay guy. Her choice, her life. The fact na hindi sya nagparamdam sa atin at ginawa niya pa mang block, that means she doesn't need us. Don't stress too much about someone who doesn't even need us. Friend: Okay. Hindi ba tayo lalabas na masamang friends? Me: Hindi.

Recently, he has been very sick. He was diagnosed with kidney failure, dehydration, and little to no blood. I’m a huge fan of Mostly Cats and it never fails to bring a smile to my face. I have also seen some wonderful things come out of here. I hoping you can help me get the word out. Nakakapagod yung maging only child. Syempre lalo na kung both parents mo ay senior citizens na tapos may little bro na ako ngayon, doble triple kayod mo para di sila mahirapan sa gastos. Minsan naiisip ko kailan kaya ako magtatrabaho para sa sarili ko at hindi para sa pamilya. Gusto ko naman maranasan yung kita ko para sa akin lang, yung wala nang binabayarang utang nila sa iba. Don't get me wrong. Ok na ako sa nakakaraos lang kesa sa sobrang yaman niyo pero di naman kayo nagkikita ng magulang mo. Diba? Pagod at pressured lang siguro ako sa trabaho.
