even tho i’m obviously v late, i received some really sweet messages after my last update in may so i’ll be responding to those as well as……… drumroll……… finishing some old drafts and potentially answering some asks that i’ve received since then that are just too yummy to pass up 🫣 but don’t quote me on that y’all know how inconsistent i am

i told myself that i wouldn’t hurtle myself back down the rabbit hole of this blog but after spontaneously reading through what i’d had written so far of the prof soobin fic (…a moment of silence 😔🪦…) i’ve been itching to write again lately AND EVEN MAYBE FINISH THE FIC AHHH IDK just ask berrie she’s been witnessing my inner turmoil abt this soooo i might just fuck around and make a comeback against my better judgement 😗

take that w/ a grain of salt tho it probably won’t last long knowing me i’m also really busy w life these days so if i come back here it’ll be inconsistent for that reason too, just a warning !

i’m sad cuz back in jan/feb i had hit 1k while i was on my hiatus, so i never got to do an event or anything, and it’s been so long now so i probably won’t but still thank you guys so much for enjoying my works that much and for even still being here despite my absence!! an event will come eventually if i’m still around for 2k lol 🤧

hey guys!! its probably high damn time to explain my silence here bc kjskdj holy shit im so sorry

im currently in my last semester of my course and working on my graduation project, which is a team project and i got made team leader, so you can imagine what kind of stress im under lmfao save me

not to mention with covid still active here, it’s become harder for me to concentrate on this blog and tiger cub as a whole. on a good note!! the next chapter has already been started (ages ago hsbdjh) so im trying to bounce off of that, but i thought it would be fair to give you all a heads up on how im pretty much running on fumes half of the time while also being completely distracted by other things and interests in order to cope with the situation im in.

i do not plan on discontinuing anything.

so, thank you guys for your continued interest and support!! i miss writing quartz, im looking forward to continue her story as soon as im done with my project!!

Hello! I just saw these, I can’t believe I saw them so soon LOL. I log into here like once a year maximum but I was feeling extra tomark-y tonight and Grace ( @gotrigboy​ ) won’t fucking talk to me LMFAO. What a fucking awesome surprise!

Incoming ramble because I will also use this ask to just send a general update lmao!! 

I am so so fucking glad that you love my story, and thank you so much for these messages. I was so young when I wrote it and it was during the worst year of my life (yes, even 8 years later, it was still the worst). Honestly, the hate and whatnot isn’t a big deal to me anymore—I was (and some would say I still am ;)) pretty fucking cocky, miserable, and I did end a wonderful story with no explanation. I understand why people were upset. I could write the world’s longest love letter to Not Now, and what it meant to me. What it STILL means to me. I’ve made lifelong friends from a joke I made at 13. I’m only filled with gratitude and love.

Don’t worry about the pressure, when people express interest it honestly inspires me. I would love nothing more than to get back to writing fic. I do have some chapters of Not Now uploaded to ao3—which are here—and as you may be able to tell by “Original”, I have been planning to rewrite Not Now for a long time (also, forgot to keep uploading to ao3, maybe I’ll get to that...). One of the many reasons I stopped writing was because I am overwhelmed by my own plot holes LMFAO. Were I to continue where I am right now there would be SO MUCH that I would have to clean up/add in the following chapters in order to get to a semi-rational ending. Sci-fi is hard, guys, especially when it takes place in the “real world”. I dug many holes that I can’t remember how to fill anymore. If/When I rewrite it, most things will remain the same. The only sacrifices made will be to improve on the general writing (the first few chapters aren’t great) and to eradicate plot holes. I want this thing to be fucking water tight because it’s my baby. Don’t get your hopes up, though. I have no timeline. 

HOWEVER, THE ONLY WAY TO ENSURE THAT I FINISH NOT NOW IS TO FULLY FUND GRACE’S TOP SURGERY FUND—WHEN GRACE REACHES THEIR GOAL, I WILL FINISH NOT NOW, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. IT’S A DEAL I MADE WITH THE DEVIL... AKA GRACE.  

Also, somewhat good news is I’m writing tomark again. Not Not Now, something kinda different and basic, but it’s a little side project I’m working. When I upload the fic to ao3, it will be under the same account (notnow). I hope I can finish the first chapter soon. I’m spending a lot of time laying the groundwork—mentally—so it’s taking me a while. No sci-fi this time. I started writing it on my twitter, but I have changed it since. I will also try to remember to upload a link here, but I don’t think anyone really knows about this blog (or tomark) anymore :(. 

But honestly, I love writing so much. It’s the only thing that feels natural to me. Yet I am also a self-hating bastard—Mark always was the easiest to write—so your messages do mean a lot to me. I probably wouldn’t ever come back to this account—and likely try to forget Not Now altogether—if I didn’t have people like you dropping in every once-in-a-while to remind me that my story was more than just the embarrassing byproduct of a 15-year-olds’ descent into depression. Was that a mouthful? I can’t tell. This is a long ass response and I’m sorry. But thank you. Thank you. Not Now feels like the only good I’ve put into the world sometimes, it’s nice to know that it’s not lost to time.

Okay, I am trying to avoid rambling further! Don’t be afraid to follow me on twitter—it’s a pretty shitty twitter and I’m turning out to be a pretty shitty person but it’s the only place you’ll find me online nowadays. I'm not sure if you would know but when do you think Loki's Main Route will come out?  I just finished Edgar's (🎉👏♥️😍😍) and I'm not sure if I should wait or if I should just play Jonah's route as if there is time.-I am going to guess around the end of Feb. Maybe the 20-22 since the new bonus stories end around that time XD Might be a few days before, but all the bonus stories will be released before the route is released I'm sure. OH! You can start a new route! Ikerev allows you to switch routes for free and it saves you spot on the old route! So whenever you want to go back, you don’t have to start all over again. I hope that helps!

Some of those prompts seemed a little assulty?? I'm sorry! E.g. kisses them to make them stop saying something; angry kisses (no consent...) -  These are prompts and not stories, so extrapolating saying its non-consensual is of your own imagination. “Angry kisses,” and “Stopping someone one from saying something with a kiss,” can be written a thousand different ways. Many of the prompts here have hundreds of different scenarios to be written around. However, If I write something, that is dub/con or non/con it will be tagged at the beginning of the fic so you can freely skip over it. :)

Ahhh thank you so much for loving the ‘my (Y/N)’ bit! When I put that in, it made me feel super, super soft c: I’m a bit like the reader in a sense that sometimes, I feel that overprotective boyfriends and such are kind of lowkey problematic but...sometimes - it makes me feel super smug and happy at the thought? It’s probably an unpopular opinion. I like people being protective over me! lol  THE SMELL OF LOVEEEEE IN THE AIR~ *wink* hehe. And actually, I have NO idea how many chapters there will be! I have an outline for the rest of the story but I usually stop around 5,000 words for each chapter. But, due to a few reasons, I couldn’t begin it/post it (which I can’t really talk about lol). But - someone sent in a request asking for a VampKook smut around 18 weeks ago. So - I decided to use that opportunity to turn it into a series with all of my hard work creating lore and history and background to a world inside my head! I’m so happy that you like it :3

It was the same issue for me honestly! It took quite a bit of frustrated googling to find it haha. Eventually “dragon age inquisition character icon” gave me a bunch of transparent icons on the first hit from the Dragon Age wiki. Thank you Dragon Age Wiki.
