#Repost @lmcc_nyc with @get_repost ・・・ LMCC is excited to announce our 11 Governors Island Residency Initiative Artists for 2020: Sherwin Banfield (@sherwintheartist), Juan Hinojosa (@juan_hinojosa_), Kate Hughes (@katehughesnyc), Ann Kim (@__annkim), Eleanor Kipping (@elfelicia), Daniel Kukla (@danielkukla), Erica Molesworth (@evmolesworth), Lovie Pignata (@ilovieny), Tony Sjöman (@rubin415), Ian Tousius (@tousius), and André Zachery (@renegadepg)! This year, LMCC, the Trust for Governors Island (@GovernorsIsland), and numerous Island-based organizations launched the Governors Island Residency Initiative in response to the COVID-19 crisis and its devastating impact across the NYC Cultural Landscape. This initiative endeavors to support artists, writers, cultural workers, creative practitioners living and working across New York City's five boroughs by repositioning indoor spaces historically used for exhibitions and public programming as residencies or workspaces from August to November.
