i made these like 3 weeks ago but i only really posted a cropped version w/ just the giant kallamr squid , featuring @aychama and @paintpaintpaintman lambs :D

i've been sitting on them bc i wasnt entirely sure about how everyone felt about each other, and while i still am not I feel like everyone likes each other at least!!!

i also wanted to draw people's lambs reliving a bunch of my childhood memories, but i felt the idea wouldn't be accepted because i don't know how many people would related to em. these sketches are new since all i had was a jpeg of thumbnails, but they are @paintpaintpaintman , @spiderin-space , and my lambs!! the first pic is just them enjoying some honeysuckles, trying to buy some candy at the weekend market, and visiting kids in better looking neighborhoods than they lived in AHHSASHHSA i dont think i care to complete this but it is really fun drawing the lambs being lambs.

a sketch of heket nd leshy i appearantly NEVER posted because i wasnt happy with how leshy turned out. a shame, really.

i also wanted to draw all the cultists in different outfits, but it turns out i really was not interested in finishing it at the time. i do think valefar and narinder turned out kinda cute tho !!!!!!!

and the last one is part of me figuring out how i wanted the lamb. ive always known i wanted them JACKED i just cant decide how ripped i want this lil bastard. i think the current lamb is a good fit for me personally.

The third and final of three D2 acrylic charm designs! I will be making these semi-transparent 2.5-inch charms and limited stock since I’m not sure if there’s anyone else interested in these as well.

My current impressions of the siblings below! Of all the D2 characters, I have the most brain rot for them…

Mara Sov

Since I was a fan of Seth Dickinson’s writing, I had done some preliminary research on what he wrote for Destiny lore. One of those things is the creation of Mara Sov and much of her lore. I also saw a Tumblr post showing a lot of people did not like her and that she was a controversial character in the game. This interested me more to play it and make a judgment for myself. I didn’t get to see who Mara Sov was until the Parasite exotic quest and even then was kinda confused as to who she was and her significance. I really like the dialogue during that quest since it was one of the first few instances during the early parts of my D2 journey that showed any hint of vulnerability from a character. Reading the Parasite lore page about Mara feeling gratitude at witnessing the vision of herself becoming the Witness’s disciple intrigued me even more!! Anyways, I say all of this to say that I ended up really liking Mara Sov. Marasenna, The Awoken of the Reef, and The Dreaming City were my first lore books I ever finished reading. I love how terrible she is, 10% of the time when she is viscerally vulnerable, and how complex she is. I am also obsessed with how her character relates to others such as: ofc Uldren/Crow, whatever freaky little friendship she got going on with Eris Morn, the parallels between her, Savathun, and Ikora as people who revolve their life around secrets, Petra and Sjur as her girlfriends wraths, and parallels to Caitl as rulers who rule very differently 9soon we see them interact in season of seraph...? bungo pls).

She has done so many morally reprehensible things. I can see why people don’t like her and can’t imagine her being likable, but unfortunately, I tend to really like terrible fictional characters. I have friends who are some of the kindest people I know and are extremely driven by selfish means. They were the ones who taught me that being selfish isn’t inherently bad and a person can be judged much more holistically. I’m not saying my friends are nearly in the same ballpark of being an egotistical, cold, and manipulative queen like Mara Sov, but that mix of good intentions in coexistence or clashing with selfish goals is familiar to me and I enjoy the moral struggle. That is a lot more interesting to me than being another NPC that just spouts quest objectives. Also to my more shallow tastes, I love a woman who would coldly step on me tyvm. Mara often fails and I would like to see her fail more, suffer the consequences of those failures, and succeed maybe like 50% of the time LOL I like women who are dominant but also fall from their dominance. I am very much a supporter of women’s rights and women’s wrongs LMAOOOOO (Note: I mean this last sentence for only fictional characters in case anyone decides to take this in bad faith. IRL war criminals are war criminals that deserve bad deaths regardless of gender.)

(I thought her hair was kinda ugly at first, but I got used to it so now I like it LOL)

Uldren Sov/Crow

I vaguely was aware of Uldren simply because of his relationship with Mara for awhile. Then I met Crow and realized “oh huh he’s clearly got a lot more going on then just being Mara’s brother”. Then I read Marasenna and realized his dynamic with Mara was a lot more complicated than I realized. I love complicated sibling relationships!! I thought it sucked that much of Uldren’s narrative arc happened in Forsaken which is now in the content vault and I can’t experience it for myself :^(((((. I recently finished reading The Forsaken Prince and thaaaat was really good wow. I wish we can see Jolyon in game considering he was an important person in Uldren’s life. Maybe it’ll happen whenever Crow decides to confidently approach the people that were important to his past life head-on. I really did enjoy the story when catching up on Season of the Risen and Haunted. During the Sever missions, I constantly kept going “omg Crow you’re going to let the little voice in your head keep saying things like that? Oooowww…” Like Uldren was mean afffff 😭 I understand the Crow fatigue for vet fans, but I just came in like a couple months ago so I am all ready to go to see what else the narrative team has in store for my guy. I am looking forward to his growth as his own person with a renewed sense of purpose. I didn’t realize Glint was important to Crow until revisiting dialogue during Season of the Lost and reading more of his lore so I didn’t include him in the drawing. If I ever make more of these charms, I’ll draw Glint in and maybe Petra (after studying up on her lore).

I am extremely mentally ill over the Sov siblings. By extension, I will soon be mentally ill over everything Awoken-related (I need to get on Petra Venj stuff holy moly), but I need to read more of their lore stuff first.

I feel like jimin hates his 2014 persona first and foremost because of how he was treated and how much pressure was put on him during that era while he was still a teen and like he relates that image to the absolute dreadfulness he must have felt, and second I think that from his perspective that facade and that gimmick he had going on came off much more straight and macho than it actually did??? Like I hear him talk about that time and one would think that he was acting like dwayne the rock and that was absolutely not true he was just some twink with eyeliner lmaooooo I remember watching content from that era when I first got into bts and thinking oooh look at gay babyboy just being gay asffff not a care in the world I LOVE HIM, but then when he put down that alleged "macho" act and he lost so much of his whimsy (at least in public), maybe because he became too famous and too self-conscious for his own good, like he and army both swear on his new-found freedom but he and his clothes became gray and sad, I just know the fame and the constant scrutiny are beating his ass but he's doing the best he can to stay sane I love him so much :(((

Here's one way I'm trying to be more helpful: A tag with ☠️ on the end is for content. It shouldn't have minor discussion etc. So you can filter by toxicanonymity ☠️ to see fics.

Posts tagged #speakeasy!Joel☠️ should only have my stories or major HCs (which I haven't gotten to) about him WHEREAS #Speakeasy!Joel would also have other stuff like discussion. I haven't retroactively done this for all the fics & Joels yet.

#Joelkémons normally pertains to questions about comparing them or idk the fact that they exist. And joelkémon is a term someone made up referring to this blog's different Joels (see FAQ on my header for more on that)

When there's a good bit of ask box discussion about a specific question or poll I might make a new tag so you can filter to just see those posts. Like "#VAM Poll" or "#Joelkémons 💒." Might be on the verge of making a "#joelkémon cosplay" or something like that for discussion about Pedro's outfits matching joelkémons.

Hello! More Júhua content I'd made, if you're not sick of it me yet! Have some musical moments of hers:

1. A comic of Júhua walking around in Old Europe (Italy?) contemplating humanity's inconsistent consistency before discovering her new love, and rambling to SWK about it like a madman.

2. Júhua and her playing the violin and cello. She plays it to calm her two monkey men, and also to drown out Mackeral ranting about SWK like the loser he is.

3. Júhua singing karaoke. Júhua and MK singing a duet together, and the former going so hard he had to take a break. Júhua is still primed for another round.

I hope you enjoy these! Will any future one-shots include the train ride the Crew rode on last time? Does Júhua have suspicions that MK is not as human as he thinks he is?

Additional note: I was thinking of MK being possibly molded by Nuwa, Goddes of Creation, and SWK, being made by her own creations instead, and it makes me think of the metaphor for AI programs and programmers and how SWK was formed through the amalgamation of AIs instead of normal creators and Nuwa is a programmer who created MK but maybe basing him on SWK, an anomaly himself. Hope the rambling makes sense.

i have seen the theory about MK being a creation of Nuwa 👀 it’s very interesting but tbh a lot about MK’s origins are up in the air so there isn’t really anything I am positive on (I will let you know that I do play with that theory in this AU :3 )

oooooh love that comparison actually 👀 bc I definitely agree that MK was probably made by someone who was inspired by Sun Wukong’s power. (Although I don’t know much about AI to really give you that great of an analysis :(

uhmmmmm, akldsf this was upsettingly hard to pick XD, I have so many unfinished drafts that never see the light of day, but here’s a snippet I wrote for the AFtG rewrite I was doing (and still am…? Kinda…? >.@laurensarah717 I’m sorry!!) 

FYI it is Andrew going to see Proust, nothing happens, he just meets him, but it’s still uncomfy as hell.

It was a whole day before Andrews new Psychologist introduced himself. The nurses and staff greeted him, showed him his room–which they ever so carefully called ‘mandatory dorms’ even though they just meant cell–the cafeteria, group therapy room, and the rest of the facilities. They explained the rules, how much time he was supposed to stay, and what the treatment would entail. 

So by the time Andrew was lead to the office of the main psychologist in charge of Andrew, he’d heard quite a bit about the man. Apparently he was good at his job, and Andrew shouldn’t worry.

Because Andrew hadn’t ever heard those words before.

The door was silent as it opened, and as soon as Andrew caught a glimpse of the room his stomach started clenching. It was set up so that the man’s desk was facing him, with a chair in front of it, obviously where Andrew was supposed to sit–with his back to the door. 

The man sitting behind the desk was thin, with a tweed suit on and a pointy nose that matched his angular features. The first thing that popped into Andrew’s head when he saw him was the food critic from Ratatouille. He smiled as he saw Andrew enter, closing the folder he’d been reading from and setting it on the desk. 

“Ah, welcome, feel free to sit down–AJ?” he said, Andrew’s fists clenched and he forced them to relax, but the man’s eyes had already flicked down to them. 

“No.” Andrew said. 

“Andy then?”

“You’ll call me by my name, Andrew, or Mr. Minyard, nothing else,” Andrew said. The man’s smile widened. 

“Well, AJ, I can’t do that, see–as your main psychologist I have to build a rapport between myself and the patient, hence the nickname,” he said slowly, as though Andrew was an animal he had cornered. “For example,” the man continued, still smiling, “My name is Proust, Arthur Proust, but you can call me whatever you like, my friends–for instance–call me Arty,” he said. Andrew’s stomach bottomed out and he fought to stay in one place as he realized exactly what was happening. 

“I won’t consent to exposure therapy, I’m here for rehab, nothing else,” Andrew said, it just made Proust’s smile widen. His eyes flicked down to the folder he’d been reading, and he pulled a paper out of it. 

“I must apologize, AJ,” Proust said, sounding far from apologetic, “but you don’t have much of a choice.” He slid the paper over. It looked like the paperwork he and Bee had signed, agreeing to the rehab and the treatments–that were not exposure therapy. “See, someone happened to be very interested in your mental health, and he made a very generous donation, paying in full for the extra treatment,” Proust continued, setting another paper on top of the first and smiling up at Andrew. “He figured that while you were here, you should make the most of it.”

Andrew’s mind went numb and empty, his fingers tingling from loss of circulation and he fought to keep his breathing steady. It was another contract, with his and Bee’s signatures on it, exactly like the other, but just from scanning it Andrew knew he’d never seen that paper until this moment. 

Slowly he raised his eyes back to Proust’s, which were practically glowing. 

“Riko Moriyama sends his best wishes, AJ.”
