The evening air in Burgess was crisp and filled with laughter. A small group of children, bundled up in coats and scarves, stood beneath Jack Frost’s latest masterpiece, ignoring the calls of distant parents summoning their children home for dinner. He floated a few feet above the ground, spinning his staff in lazy arcs, conjuring snowflakes that hovered like tiny stars. With a flick of his wrist, he guided them into constellations; Elsa blinked. Those weren't just random clusters of snowflakes... the patterns mimicked the shapes of celestial figures no less than the Orion (The Hunter), Gemini (The Twins), and Sagittarius (The Archer).

“Whoa, is that a dragon?” one of the older kids exclaimed, pointing to a particularly elaborate design Jack had made up on the spot; this one was not one of the known constellations.

“Not a dragon, Wes,” Jack corrected with a grin. “That’s the constellation Frosticus Majesticus. Legendary hero of the winter cosmos.”

The children burst into giggles, their breath misting in the frosty air. “That’s not real!” one of them cried, though their awe suggested it didn't matter. Elsa watched from the outskirts, wondering if she should join in, but decided not to.

“Not real?” Jack pressed a hand dramatically to his chest, feigning deep offense. “You wound me, kid. You hear me, Evelyn? Wound! This is premium cosmic artistry you’re witnessing!”

“Elsa!” one of the children called out, shocking her out of her reverie. “Can you make stars too?”

Jack turned to her with a smirk, and she was pinned. “Yeah, Snow Bunny—show us what you got.”

Elsa sent him a look, but without much heat; the kids were cheering, after all. Elsa sighed, her lips twitching in the ghost of a smile, and with a graceful flick of her wrist, she sent icy tendrils spiraling upward. They glittered in the moonlight, weaving a delicate lattice that intertwined with Jack’s constellations, and then shimmered and separated and shifted, settling into filler-stars between the great constellations, deepening the sky.

The kids erupted into cheers. “You made it even better!” one said, while another added, “It’s like a winter galaxy!”

Jack huffed, mock-offended. “Better? I don’t know about that.”

Elsa arched a brow at him. “Do you want me to take it down?”

He grinned. “Nah. You can stay in my galaxy, I guess.”

Brow raised. "So generous."

The kids stubbornly stayed until the cold began to bite, reluctantly heading home at their parents’ calls, at last. Jack waved them off with exaggerated bows, while Elsa gave quiet nods and gentle goodbyes and a few extra waves to those who couldn't quite seem to stop turning around. When the last of the children disappeared around the corner, a hush settled over the snowy park.

Elsa shifted, preparing for another portal journey, but Jack made no move to retrieve his snow globe. She watched him, as Jack stayed determinedly put, and instead lifted his face to the sky.

"They are pretty cool," he said, apropos of nothing; his voice was quieter now, the playful bravado fading. "Right?"

Elsa followed his gaze, but wasn't sure what to say. Carefully, she echoed, "Cool?"

"Yeah, you know. Interesting. Fun to think about."

Elsa fought to hide her impatience. With measured tones, she clarified, "I do know what 'cool' means. I'm wondering, rather, what you find so interesting bout them, in particular."

Jack sent her side glance. "Can't a guy have interests?"

"Yes, but yours have thus far been rather limited to pranks, reckless dives, dangerous feats, and initiating miniature wars among the children."

"Wars! Giving me an awfully lot of credit, there, for a few snowball fights, arent'cha?"

"You are very competitive."

Elsa wasn't expecting his smile. He looked at her like... he knew something she didn't. She couldn't let that slide, she needed to ask him, but he turned back to the sky and said—

"You know, super quiet, starry nights like this remind me of the first time I saw the stars and Moon as a Guardian.”

Elsa tilted her head, intrigued. Jack had never spoken to her before about his transformation; she didn't yet know all the rules of this life and this—this family—but she understood well enough that One's Story (the true one, the one that was not shared in the storybooks) was earned.

Softly, “The first time?”

“Yeah.” Jack leaned on his staff, his gaze fixed on the twinkling expanse above. This deep into far suburbia, nearly reaching the rural farms, the only sound beyond their voices was the hush of the falling snow. “The night Manny woke me up, I didn’t know what was going on. I just remember looking up and seeing… this. The Moon, brighter than I’d ever noticed before, and all those stars... "

Elsa waited for him to continue, but he trailed off into silence.

His smile was wistful, and for a moment, Elsa saw a side of him she didn’t expect.

Sincere. Deep in Memory. (Vulnerable?)

“It must’ve been… overwhelming."

Jack shrugged, brushing off whatever that had been—but there was no mistaking the emotion that she'd sen in his eyes.

“It was. But it was also kind of amazing. Y'know. Once I got the hang of it.”

The three centuries that no one seemed to want to speak of. Another topic they had not yet broached.

A streak of light cut across the sky—a shooting star, long and bright. Jack’s face lit up instantly.

"Guess that's our cue. You can still make a wish on it, if you like."

There was the tone she was more familiar with; gone was the wistful Jack, who disappeared in the blink of a shooting star.

"Thank you," Elsa aimed for politeness, which was often simplest in strange moments like these, when she wasn't sure what she was supposed to do or how she was supposed to act. "But I think I've rather had enough of making wishes, for now."

She worried that he might make some sort of quip about her past again—a little joke intended to poke at stories she dared not yet tell—but he nodded, suddenly certain, staring back up at the calm sky.

"Yeah, I get it. Granting them is a lot better than making them."

Elsa remained quiet for a moment, her gaze fixed on Jack as he stared upward, the starlight upon his face. His words lingered in the air between them, settling over her like the snowflakes falling gently around them. She was astounded that Jack, so often the jester (the antagonist, the prankster—the fool?), had been able to reach inside her thoughts and understand what she’d meant. It wasn’t a skill many (had) possessed, and certainly not one she’d expected from him.

She allowed herself a faint smile, watching him, this Guardian (this boy) who seemed so utterly at ease with the universe... even when it had been cold to him.

She was pleased to admit that she liked this rare side of Jack—conscientious, thoughtful, empathetic; she wished he would come out more often... but she also understood why it stayed hidden, tucked behind the boisterous grins and reckless antics.

Jack needed the laughter, the chaos, the Fun. It was his armor.

He had his armor, and she had hers.

The silence stretched, more comfortable now, and Elsa found herself doing something she rarely did: acting on impulse.

A small, mischievous idea bloomed in her mind—a way to meet him halfway, to let him know she appreciated this quieter version of him without making it too obvious. A taste of diplomacy. An offering, yes, that's what it was. A boon.

A truce.

“I had no idea you were such a... a little spaceboy,” she said softly, the word slipping from her lips like a secret. She bit her cheek to retain her smile.

As expected, Jack blinked, his head snapping toward her.

“Wha—what did you just call me?”

Jack floundered. "Um, excuse me?! Space is cool?! What does any of that have to do with—with innocence?"

“You'd likely spend half the night staring at the stars, crafting constellations, and waxing poetry about the cosmos,” she said, arching a brow. “It seems fitting.”

A stunned beat.

And then Jack’s face suddenly split into a wide grin, a laugh bubbling out of him, seemingly before he could stop it. “Oh, I see. You’re trying to be funny now.” Jack leaned on his staff, his grin impossibly wider.

"I believe I did hear a laugh, just now."

To which Jack gaped, and then barked another laugh, his eyes sparkling with something she couldn’t quite name. “Alright, Snowpea, I’ll take it. Spaceboy it is.”

Oh dear, Elsa thought, half-gratified, half-mournful. What have I done?

They stood there a little longer, Jack spinning his staff idly, Elsa clasping her hands at her waist; the two of them, just watching the stars. For the first time since she’d joined the Guardians, the silence between them wasn’t awkward or tentative—it was simply… easy.

Or... easier.

Elsa realized she didn’t just like this side of Jack; she respected it. She’d like to see it again.

Okay so this ones kinda crazy but I really like it. Luchasaurus was a human professor who got mutated with a dinosaur in a lab accident, fly style. He got sent out to the middle of nowhere to hide while he adjusted to his new life. That's where he met Jungle Boy

JB is literally a kid who got raised my monkeys. Maybe he got stranded in a plane crash or something idk. Hes like 12 when Lucha finds him

Luchasaurus decided to take JB in, and when he goes back to civilization he takes JB with him

JB missed the crucial stage of language development, so he struggles to form actual sentences. Despite that, which Lucha's help he actually knows a lot of words and can communicate in simplified speech, though talking is still weird for him. Hes kind of self conscious about it bc he knows he sounds strange. He prefers ASL, though again there's no real sentence structure

Kris is for real an alien. She like crashed onto earth a while ago, but was held captive in Area 51 for years. She recently broke out and ran into Orange by chance. He gave her a ride to the city and didn't say anything when she followed him to his and the Best Friends' place. Chuck and Trent had questions. None of them were answered. They just kinda shrugged and she's been with them ever since

Ahhhh... Not again. I don't know if you heard it but you probably will in a few days. One of Mr Beasts buddies Kris Tyson (who also outed as a trans woman) has been accused of being a p*do. I know you should first and foremost be sad for the victim or whatever but I'm honestly just pissed of of being represented by people like that because for Normie's who happen to watch MrBeast this was probably the only exposure they got to a trans person.

Like of course that's going to be a negative association. I really wish all the media attention would shift away from us. I'm so frustrated because of this... And sorry for the rant but how do you deal with this? Or are you even taking it to heart / care about trans people of public interest and how they behave?

I mean I know I shouldn't care either but whenever someone tells me "hey do you know (youtuber/influencer) X? He/She is trans you should check it out". Then I can't help but sometimes catching up on them to see if they didn't do some questionable things because I don't want our " collective reputation" as trans people be tarnished even further. Which is also stupid I know because the transphobes hate us anyway. I just fear that normal people who were not radicalised yet will "take" this opportunity to jump on the trans hate and grouping us all together.

I didn't have the faith to look at 2 hours of videos... From what I quickly gathered however it was just inappropriate jokes on a discord with minors? Like... Can we really talk about victims then? One minor with whom she had a more serious relationship says that she's fine (she's now 20). Is there really any victim in there? Looks like it's a ploy to fuck up a trans woman rather than a real defense of victims. The fact that it's bad to tell inappropriate jokes or flirt with minors isn't because it's bad per essence, it's bad because it has a significant probability that it can hurt them. There was no harm done there from what I could gather. The question is, were any of those people hurt/traumatized? If not then why the fuck people go on people's business. Being considered a public victim when you're not certainly can do harm too. Vigilante justice also sucks too. I feel bad for Ava tbh, I don't think anyone deserves being dragged publicly, independently of what she may or may not have done. It's a matter of justice if there is a victim, not a matter of YouTubers capitalising on that. Harassment is bad, period.

I used to take to heart how people behaved and what they said on TV but now I'm whatever. Probably comes from the fact that I have the privilege to pass so whatever is being said there doesn't really have any repercussions on me/my life. So nobody comes to me saying "hey you should check that youtuber they're trans" and honestly it's better that way because that would annoy me too much.

blood sweat and tears: ke ming kai, li sheng jun and sheng qi

way too hard song choice. I get why so many trainees would choose a bts song, but why this song? please someone point me towards a cover of bs &t that had the same aura as the original, bc at this point i'm convinced it is uncoverable. the pitch of it, too, is so dangerous in the way that if you don't get the feel of that intro right, you're lost immediately...

breathe: syo and ryou kaito

don't like syo's style of singing. japanese vocal style that will need to go. otherwise, I'm actually pretty neutral about it.

darari: kim seong ju

not him going platinum seller with the trainees lmao. I mean, if anything, it proved the guiders right in giving him one star

obviously have been trained. something about the intro was way off, idk if it was the pitch or if it was just done monotonously but it got my sibling and me real scared. not necessary though! the rest of it was pretty great!

WOW. he's really good, stable, good pronunciation and mindset, BEAUTIFUL too. spoilers include that he's in my top9 right now. I got real shady vibes at first, about the level of humbled he was giving ... felt like an act for a minute there, but it was probably just the nerves!

his nose is still very pretty, he's wearing a mesh turtleneck, he's doing a song that has bodyrolls..... they put him last in the round-up of trainees that still have to go (way at the end of the ep) so let's hope that's a good thing!!

I first met you through a survival show, and I was very thankful for it then. seeing as you didn't debut with the unit, I was also glad to see you in px101. but they messed you over, put something in front of you that was the realization of your dream, only for it to be taken away...

the fact that trainees were like "he was in X1!" damn near put me out. I know that you have a shit label, that they're really just looking for viral moment after viral moment to keep the group in the collective memory. but I also know that this might help you to advance once more, get closer to that realization again.

hi lou i was wondering if you had any recommednations as to where to start watching aew... ive only watched a little bit of wwe with some friends so i really have no idea if should start somewhere for Context or just dive right in with wrestling stuff lmao. but all of the pics of aew all out that im seeing are really really horny and it makes me think aew is up my alley. and i trust your opinions implicitly.

All Out 2024 is genuinely the most interested I've been in AEW in a long time because it was really struggling to retain me for the last couple of whiles, so I think my best answer to "where to start watching" is just "now"? like i seriously cannot stress enough how much it seemed like a major shaking off of a lot of funk that's kept me from watching live for a long time; maybe it's literally just because jericho wasn't on the card lmfao. i REALLY hope that they can keep up the momentum and it's not just a fluke, though

I don't consider myself particularly knowledgable or well-read about wrestling, I'm a admittedly a little myopic and maybe just a really horny dilettante, but what I recommend is finding a guy or a girl you like, and getting obsessed with them and looking through their backlog of matches just to see where it takes you, and maybe find other guys to get obsessed with through that. to be as brief as possible, here's just three of my own favorites and some pointers:

Kris Statlander: literally any of her pay-per-view matches after returning at double or nothing 2023. her whole history with Willow Nightingale especially is just amazing television, including their various tag team stints, like this personal favorite match against Mercedes Martinez & Diamante back when Collision. The reason that Kris and Willow clashing in a street fight at All Out was so significant was because these two are the street fight QUEENS, they've done 2-versus-2 street fights against the aforementioned Mercedes and Diamante, Julia Hart and Skye Blue, etc. before, and all of these are worth looking up.

Eddie Kingston: his journey through the Continental Classic tournament of late 2023 and early 2024 culminating in a grand finals match against Bryan Danielson at Revolution 2024 was something really goddamn special. The Stadium Stampede at All In 2023 is also lots of fun, he comes out bloody with a gas can and just looks sooooooo good

Bryan Danielson: he's world champion right now (incredible match against also-incredible previous champion swerve strickland at All In 2024) and obviously has no shortage of amazing matches across his very long history, but my introduction to live AEW was watching him TEAR through banger match after banger match on Dynamite from January to March 2023 (konosuke takeshita! bandido! timothy thatcher! brian cage! rush! literally so many different KINDS of wrestling) in the build-up to a 60-minute iron man match against then-champ, then-much-more-entertaining MJF at Revolution 2023, so check that out

Wait wait wait actually an honorable mention goes to FTR vs Bullet Club Gold 2-out-of-3-Falls, from July 15 2023, also from back when Collision was good. I love those wet freaks in the bang bang gang so much oh my god

The day had finally arrived,the day our fave German Shepard N husky duo were going 2 promise themselves 2 eachother forever.The JO boys were helping out with last minute preparations (N driving Kris insane cuz everything had 2 be done by a very specific list he made as soon as the couple announced the wedding date N it had 2 be PERFECT)they even managed 2 get the rings around Ollie’s collar without him jumping everywhere,meanwhile Jere was with his crew + Tommy getting ready 4 the biggest day of their friend (or in Mikke’s case little brother) life.Alas everything was ready N up 2 (Kris’s extremely high) standards,the guests made up of the two grooms family,close friends N some of the esc family as everyone took their seats in the isles amongst the giant sunflower covered Alter Jure made 4 the soon 2 be husbands when Jere began waking down the isle (poor Nacko almost had a heart attack cuz of how ethereal his fiancé looked right then N there) the vow’s were said,Ollie successfully kept the rings safe till he had 2 give them 2 one of his dads 2 set his promise 2 be love N be by Jere’s side forever in stone,everyone was a crying sobbing mess throughout the whole ceremony.(even the daltons couldn’t keep it together or Tommy surprisingly) N then it came time 4 the officiate 2 marry our beloved Pokémon loving now husbands which was sealed with the whole “U may kiss the bride” thing.(Mikke was gonna be their wedding photographer but my man deserves a break so they got Damon 2 do it instead) N as soon as that was over particularly all the guests booked it 2 the open bar N buffet,speeches were made,the newlywed couple held hands as they cut the cake which lead 2 a small cake fight,Kris spent most of the after party sipping tequila N hanging out with Haarija,Bojan N Jure got shitfaced drunk N made out by the buffet (almost squishing the pokeball themed strawberry plater while they were at it) Nace thought Jan went missing until one of Daltons found him playing with a bunch of stray cats who found their way into the venue,Jere’s lil nephew N niece LOVED Ollie N couldn’t stop petting him N playing fetch with the lil dog N as soon as the party was over N everyone had settled into their hotel rooms the Gengar N Bulbasaur loving newlyweds had mind blowing sex but alast they were happy N knew that whatever happened 2 Joker out or Kaarija they would go though it with love in their hearts N eachother by there side..✨✨✨✨✨

A definitely small Deltarune rant

Wow, it's been quite some time since I last posted. So, to compensate for that, here's a definitely 100% small rant about Deltarune.

Your choice does not matter.

That right there, is one of Deltarune's main themes, I think, I haven't checked up on its lore in quite some time lmao. Anyway, Deltarune wastes no time in letting you set up a character and then throwing it in a dumpster just to show you that. You play as Kris, a human, in the game and tag along with a monster Susie to the Dark World and meet Ralsei, a Darkner.

The fight mechanics in Deltarune are an overhauled version of the ones in Undertale. But, they feel so much better. Like really, having two more characters seriously makes the combat feel so much better. The combat is a little changed, to accommodate the three members in the main party. Now, you won't instantly die if your HP reaches 0, since Susie and Ralsei still exist.

The game also is in a lighter tone compared to Undertale, I feel. It's quite goofy, just makes it better. Plus Lancer, the best boy obviously, is the goofiest character to ever exist, and I absolutely love him. Then there's the music guys in Chapter 2, and of course; you know him, you love him, NUBERT! Berdly and Noelle too, the characters are extremely good in this game, like there's pretty much no downside to any. They are all extremely fun. Definitely a 10/10 for characters.

And the boss fights in the games are honestly quite phenomenal, escpecially in Chapter 2. My favourite fight, Jevil, with all its chaos and everything, is a perfect example in my opinion of how the fights are really good. There's also Spamton NEO and the first Queen battle at the rooftop, all really good and fun. And each fight is a little more difficult than the last (not counting the secret bosses), showing good difficulty progression. And the first real boss that we fight, K. Round, is really a good showcase as to how the bosses work and how they'll just improve in the future. It feels really good and refreshing to fight all the bosses, no matter how basic or complicated they are. The bosses really are a step up from Undertale.

Then there's the music, and again, Toby went absolutely wild with this too. The music of this game is absolutely awesome. In fact, my top three favourite Toby songs are from Deltarune (not counting Skies Forever Blue, because like, that's the best song ever made and my most favourite song ever but it's not from Toby's games). The music for the areas, the bosses, the normal battle theme, just perfect for the vibe of that particular area or fight. And the music also seems to tell a story with how it progresses. The sound design is exactly what you would expect from Toby, and it doesn't disappoint.

And then, the LORE!! The lore is simple at a first glance, but as you look more and more into it, you realise that its very cryptic and well done. Are Jevil and Spamton connected to the man who speaks in hands himself, Gaster? Are Undertale and Deltarune really connected? Who is Mike? And who is the Knight?? AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, HOW DID SANS BEFRIEND TORIEL LAST NIGHT??!! All these, big questions that everyone is looking the answer for. The Lore of each chapter is also very interesting. The motives of The King and The Queen, and why the King is so serious while the Queen is playful and jolly, the answer is satisfactory. The lore of Kris, the lore of the different Dark Worlds, the lore of Ralsei and his town, all pretty cool. This game has a well made lore, like it's clear that quite a bit of effort has been put into it. And I like it very much.

In the end, I wanna conclude by saying that Deltarune is a masterpiece, and definitely better than Undertale in my opinion.

I kinda want to share a bit about my very unfinished AU, it was inspired from PL:A (like ye) and from my frien- and ofc. Its a Johto related. Ancient Johto AU-

So the story starts like both Ethan and Kris walks around Ilex Forest for search for Celebi. Its getting late for them in the forest and both of them taking some rest there. Literally sleeping. Celebi then appears and sent them both to Ancient Johto (i cant think of name so keep it like that pls) Kris woke up in the forest feels very different and confuse about what have happened when shes sleeping. Realising Ethan wasnt there with her, she just went out from the forest and starts wandering those ancient looking villages around her which is Gold Village, main place for Gold Clan (past NBT). Meanwhile with Ethan, who falls from the sky (Celebi hates him real) and flops on Olivine Village where is it the main place of Silver Clan. The people there thought Ethan as intruders and fight him. Fortunately, Ethan defeat all of them with just his partner, Cyndaquil . And with that, the master of Silver Clan decided to capture him and ask him to join their clan but Ethan refuse. The Master have no choice but brainwashed him and use him as a weapon.

Go back to Kris- She enters the Gold Village and ask so many questions that some people there couldnt understand. The Warden there, Hibiku who is literally Ethan's ancestor saw her and try to get her confusion done. But well, she also a bit of confuse but tells Kris some more serious things about what in their village. Theres have been a war between Gold Clan and Silver Clan for a while right now. And it keep getting worse. Kris maybe thought if Celebi sends her here to solve the war from destroying more stuffs. Kris joins Gold Clan and try to help as many as she can. Other clan and team also exists like Crystal Clan and Team Radiate (Ancient TR i suppose). Both these two have tried their best to settle it down but seems like it just getting harder. So it was left to Kris and her team to settle down the war

The way it ends just the war have become far more worse with two clans summons the Legendaries they serves which is Ho-Oh and Lugia. Both the Legendaries fights each other cause more cause and destruction. During this time, it was the last battle between Ethan and Kris. Ethan have been more harsh than ever since he was brainwashed. He was feared by everyone but no longer of that. He finally got defeated and conscious from the brainwashes and remembers everything.

there's something about the fact that vriska holds herself to a standard of being the one who Has Her Shit Together (lol. lmao even) and how she makes it a point to push the people she cares about to do the same, or at the very least if they're soooooooo inc8pable, leave it to her. cross that with jade "i have to keep everything together i have to do the things right i have to be the hero, i cannot fall apart, i have to get this Done" harley, you get something fascinating.

they're both so cripplingly lonely, one physically one emotionally (saying this loosely, they cross into each other in this aspect), and struggle heavily with vulnerability. vriska desperately wants to be heard, but more than that doesn't want to be seen as weak. jade just wants everything to be okay. have to be seen in a certain way, guiding lights, ugly messes beneath the brilliant glow. the sun and the stars. i think they should bite and maybe kill a little

oh man will they need a lot of time to work this out though. i think it could easily topple into something unsatisfying and painful for them both, it's like almost midnight i can't quite grasp why yet. but i think, if they love each other despite it, they will be able to find a way to be okay.

Nolan: uhhhhh idk maybe a spade? ♠️

Kris: something nerdy or related to his job i guess? Maybe a screwdriver or like and ai data chip, idk

If your oc could only eat one thing for the rest of their life (while miraculously not suffering from malnutrition), what would it be? Does this match their favourite food?

Nolan: Really likes meaty stews (think like hearty beef stews, Irish stew, or Italian style)

Kris: Imma say prolly Pepper Steak (for my own sanity rn djdbjd)

How prepared is your oc? Ready for the worst no matter what, or completely lost in every situation? Would they have a medkit when it was needed? Would they have an umbrella if it rains?

Nolan: Maybe not prepped in the sense that he'd have things readily on hand, but he's at least always ready mentally and has pretty good knowledge of survival skills in the absence of like, medkits or devices.

Kris: Absolutely not, no. Dude rarely goes anywhere that's not home or work. I think at most he'd have an umbrella available in either location or his car tbh. Also OTC pain meds (like advil or tylenol). But any situation that isn't tech related, he's not really prepared for nor all that helpful.

How charitable is your oc? Or are they more stingy with their resources and money?

Nolan: He can be charitable, but usually will keep things to himself. Still gets in the mindset that he has to be careful with his resources from well before he got yoinked to a whole different universe.

Kris: Surprisingly very charitable despite his grumpy and anti-social disposition. Basically one of the few things he learned/picked up from his parents regarding resources/money. (Really only stingy when it comes to project work and doesn't really share work load or materials until he's done)

If someone was describing your oc to someone who had never met them, what distinguishing features would they mention? How would one identify your oc in a crowd?

Nolan: Uhhhhhh gruff/scruffy, littered in scars/has a burn scar on his right shoulder, looks extremely tired from stress.

Kris: Practically looks like a blond JD (Heathers), resting bitch face, often wears a lot of shirt layers, lab coat.

Does your oc have any pleasure that embarrasses them so they keep it secret? Or are they open about all the things they enjoy?

Nolan: He typically keeps any info of that kind to himself, lest it gets used against him honestly. But I guess maybe cross-stitching?

Kris: He also keeps what he enjoys to himself, more so out of "its not anyone else's business". He does like to watch those acne videos tho (but only the ones by actual professionals), he thinks theyre oddly fascinating, even if they can be gross. Or listens to reddit stories in the background while at home.

What is your oc’s stamina like? Would they be able to run a marathon, or not run at all? What about walking/another physical activity? How are they with exercise in general?

Nolan: He's got excellent stamina, often runs/jogs a few miles everyday/every other day along with some other exercise routines when he can.

Kris: His isn't all that great but it's not too terrible. The guy sits most the day, but he's got decent arm strength considering all the things he lifts and lugs around his office space during projects.

How long can your oc stay focused on one task before they get bored? Do they constantly have to switch things up or do they hyperfocus? What sort of things is it the opposite for?

Nolan: Can focus fairly well for short periods, but will typically have to switch things up for a couple minutes before returning (otherwise gets hit with s similar thing to highway hypnosis, idk, might just be zoning out tbh)

Kris: Dude could stay focused for hourrssss and gets rather upset upon being interrupted. (unless it has anything to do with events that his parents set up, then he'd rather do anything else, anywhere else)

What is the most annoying sound to your oc? What’s the most pleasant? Is there any reason?

Nolan: Sounds caused by things like tasers or exposed wires, or things that sound like they explode. Some of the punishments or experiments at Star Labs included tasers or exposure to relatively low volts of electricity. Anything that explodes or sounds like it has him going on high alert and ready to rush people to safety.

Kris: Certain types of pop music mostly (from childhood contests) and large amounts of people chatter really grates his nerves and tests his patience (very much not a people person)

What smells bring back specific memories to your oc? What are those memories like?

Nolan: Open fire smoked fish/cooked rabbit, reminds him of the time he was part of a rebellion and camped out in woods for long periods of time, eating what they could catch and staying up late to keep watch. While not a particularly good time frame, he looks back at those moments with fondness on the bonds he made with others.

Kris: Anything that has to do with beauty products, like hairspray or make-up. Brings back the memories of pageants he was forced to participate in as a kid and how his mom would spend hours fixing him up and nagging at him for not sitting still or complaining, some of the worst times in his life he would say.

How jumpy or easily spooked is your oc? Do they have a fight or flight reflex to being startled, or are they never startled at all?

Nolan: Not easily startled, but does have a huge fight response in the rare case. (attempt at own risk)

Kris: Sorta easy to startle?? Has a mix of both fight and flight, followed by angry yelling/swearing depending on the situation. (also attempt at own risk, usually holding/carrying something considered sharp or hot, like a pen, screwdriver or soldering iron)

I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT MY ANSWER TO THIS ALL DAY (AND EVER SINCE U FIRST RECOMMENDED THE FIC TO ME TBH) AND I JUST... first of all, i haven't finished it yet, i stopped at chapter 11 because i had to sleep so these are my thoughts so far. i may have missed a thing or two but this is the gist.

starting lighthearted with gojo things i found absolutely hilarious

THE THINGS HE SAYS TO US. it reminds me very much of touya because it's affectionate for a guy like him but still teasing and playful. these lines had me blushing so hard and kicking my feet and giggling. the use of petnames like "lil' baby" and "baby girl" and him telling you to "c'mere'n let me see yer cute face" ohhhhh my god.......

not to mention, i love his accent very much. country boyyy i love youuuuu.

"'c'mon now,' he mutters, turning his head to the side so he can press a kiss to your temple. 'why didn'tcha say somethin' earlier if it bothered you that much, you dumb baby.'"

this scene really changed everything for me... i will expand on this more later but the connection they have... their loyalty to each other... or moreso their desire to just have each other.

"a man, the man who had humiliated maki's mother many times, spoke hideous things about her children within earshot, is straining to call one of his other cousins because fuck fuck fuck why aren't you answering. his eyes soften and he's not exactly sure if it's because of the sweat in his eyes or the picture that you had just sent two minutes ago, a picture of you and the new lipstick you're trying on. you look so pretty. fuck. he's gonna cry."

I SAVED THIS ONE BEFORE THE SECOND POV CHAPTER THAT WENT MORE IN-DEPTH ON NAOYA'S FEELINGS AND THAT ONE – I WAS ALREADY DYING BUT THAT FINISHED ME OFF! this fic is so well-written that i felt grief for this fucking man. grief for naoya fucking zen'in of all people. it left a hole in my chest and i haven't felt this grief since [REDACTED REDACTED] in csm.

especially later, when reader was remembering her honeymoon in amalfi coast, when they were driving in the convertible and lost her scarf. for some reason that flashback made me so sad.

"'that girl will be your downfall,' is what his father tells him later on that day. naoya wants to believe that. maybe you'll be the one to drag him to hell. that would be nice. he'd be back home. he'll always come home. if that's where you're at, he'll always come home."

OKAY... we are almost to the end of it <3

your eyes sting hot, and you're not sure if it's because he's speaking ill of your very dead husband or because you're taking it personally for having loved the horrible man.

there's something about how you feel when it comes to naoya. defensive, even. you're certain that although love and family had been a difficult, complicated subject for the man, he fucked you like he loved you. like you had been a very fragile thing that he needed to care for – and he did. he always did; had always cared for you in ways that no one else would. or at least, he cared for you in ways that no one else would or could within a fifty-mile radius.

for all of his acid and harsh angles and sharp tongue, naoya was someone who took care of you and protected you. he made you feel wanted and safe and cherished and by the gods even if he didn't actually say it, he made you feel loved. that's what mattered to you. now, at least. maybe too much, even."

THIS WAS A FUCKING INSANE MOMENT TO ME reader wondering a few chapters ago whether or not she loved naoya and admitting now that she did, so very much so.

this really resonated with me in particular, not to get all wah-wah pity party but i've dealt with a lot of relationship trauma and all i've got to show for it is a crippling fear of abandonment. this type of love is therapeutic to me. when your person loves you and only you, there's nobody to compete with because they don't give half a shit about anyone else. you're the only one that sees that soft part of them, dare i say the real them.

THERE ARE A LOT OF THINGS I FORGOT TO WRITE DOWN BUT THIS FIC HAS CHANGED MY LIFE IN WAYS THAT I CANNOT COMPREHEND AND I AM NOT EVEN HALFWAY DONE.

another thing that made me very happy was seeing a lot of similarities in how the author characterizes naoya & how i've been characterizing him for the menthol prequel. fucking daddy issues central. naoya being a contradiction of himself because he's everything a zen'in should be, and yet he has these haunting moments of clarity where he realizes that's the last thing he wants to be... and yet nothing changes. he will be this way until he dies, and he was this way until he died. not that this man deserves tenderness because he's evil, but like... the care in which the author handles his character. it's everything to me.

trying my hardest but like oh my god it's going to be hard to let myself fall for gojo because the man the author wrote naoya to be. the husband he was. the deep, profound love he had that's even more special because it's all the love he has and it's all for you.

i've had enough time to stew in it now that i can have thoughts that are more coherent than just pointing at a goat and going "SON... H-HIM SON......" so that being said, here are some of those More Coherent Thoughts in very excruciating and unnecessary detail

the first time i'd played chapter 1 (on the very day it came out), i'd been so focused on trying to figure out how it connected to undertale that i ended up not focusing much at all on the new story and characters, and since i never went back and replayed it at that time, all i remembered was that uncanny feeling of seeing all these characters you know, similar but slightly off... i do remember having enjoyed the game but it didn't stick out much in my memory.

THIS TIME THOUGH. this time i said "SCREW the undertale references, i am playing this as its OWN GAME and not thinking about undertale AT ALL smh" and i am so glad i did. what the hell. i can't say definitively that deltarune is better than undertale for me, since there are only two chapters so far so i'm withholding judgement, but it's got me in as least as much of a deathgrip if not more. undertale was the warm up, the foundation, and now deltarune is building on that and exploring new aspects and--

listen. i played through these the most pacifist i possibly could, and i was thinking "wow, how incredibly cutesy and fluffy this game is" and then i looked up the weird route and secret bosses and started thinking about certain moments of the game and oh my gOD. never mind about cutesy and fluffy, this game is terrifying (positive).

(no, i haven't done the snowgrave stuff myself, i'm not strong enough. it took me 6 years to work myself up to being able to play the genocide route in undertale so it's probably going to take me just as long here. i can't bring myself to hurt noelle like that.) (i did go back and fight jevil and spamton neo though lmao)

i'm loving the exploration of kris's lack of autonomy and the cost of taking back control. they're just some weirdo depressed teenager and i desperately want to give them their life back, but then again, the influence of the player controlling them has undeniably had a positive effect on them (dark world adventures, making new friends), and they were so freaked out when they saw what happened to spamton once he gained his "freedom" and cut his strings and what that cost him...

oh my god kris is a sentimonster-- *gets dragged offstage and microphone yanked out of my hand*

i hope we can balance it by the end of the game. you know how susie can't be controlled or manipulated, but chooses to listen to kris's advice in battles because she wants to help, and will disregard the advice if she thinks it's stupid? well, i hope the outcome with us and kris can end up similar -- not controlling them against their will, but providing support and suggestions as a more benevolent entity and not doing things that will hurt kris, and they can ultimately make the final decisions on how they want to act. eventually they can shed us entirely. it would be a nicer outcome than making us feel guilty for playing the game at all, when we didn't get a choice in becoming the soul that controls kris either, our own vessel was discarded at the beginning against our will and everything. i think it would be cool if we didn't necessarily have to be the villain!

(except in the weird route, i think we should be the villain there and kris has to break away from us, it would be sick as hell)

it's just so exciting finding out more about kris, because back in undertale we barely knew anything about frisk aside from their name, and sure we can speculate that without our influence frisk would have naturally done the pacifist route but we don't technically know that... instead now, with kris, we get not just the "this is the character you're controlling" of frisk but also the "they had their own life before you showed up and have their own personality" of chara! kris even seems to be quite a troubled kid, like chara! which of course doesn't make either of them evil, they're just screwed up and that's fine, i'm dying on that hill

okay enough comparing things to undertale

KRIS AND SUSIE'S FRIENDSHIP IS EVERYTHING TO ME. *lies down.* the Look susie gives kris when saying "let's go back there tomorrow, alright?" got to me, okay? it got to me. the sudden realisation of "get away. from my. friend." the parallels of the first chapter starting with susie putting her hand on kris's shoulder only to then lift them up and slam them into the locker and threaten to bite their face off, and then at the end of the chapter she puts her hand on their shoulder again but this time to give them the Look and say she wants to go on another adventure with them auuuughhh

susie's character development is fantastic honestly. she starts off a bully, because she already expects that people don't like her and want her to go away, she was always fine with noelle because noelle was pre-emptively kind to her by lending her a pencil, everyone else just found her scary and wanted to avoid her regardless of what she did...

and then lancer is impressed by her scariness and wants to learn from her! she has someone actually looking up to her and praising her for things that other people always found creepy and unpalatable! she becomes protective of him, she learns that ralsei is right in that violence isn't always the answer and sometimes makes things worse, and then kris protects her with their life, and susie happily repays the favour, calling kris her friend, and revealing her eyes for the first real time... *lies down harder*

okay no it's so good because KRIS did that. that was not us, the player, choosing to save susie, that was kris on their own. they love going on dark world adventures with her, they want to eat moss and chocolates with her, they hang out after school, they want to go to the festival with her, they love susie-flavoured tea, they want to hug her and wear her jacket, they have a sleepover together watching monster movies... kris genuinely cares deeply about susie completely outside of our influence. we can make whatever choices we want *cough cough i will never stop hugging ralsei* but kris wants susie in the end. and they will defy possession and control and fate and whatever else to show it to us as much as they can.

and it's perfect because they're both WEIRD. they're WEIRDOS. they're a creepy, weird, offputting duo who do weird stuff like eat moss together. they really get each other. i am so incapable of being normal about them. susie can't be controlled and always just does whatever she wants and that's so understandably appealing to someone who is suffering from being controlled like a puppet. kris doesn't judge susie and is always up for going on adventures with her and spending time with her, and that's something susie desperately needs from a lifetime of being feared and pushed away by people.

susie is also just badass as hell. i need to say that. she's just the coolest character. she has the best music. when her hair covers her eyes you just KNOW someone's about to get wrecked. like that scene when monster kid and snowy are dissing kris, and susie is having NONE OF IT and immediately switches back into her bully self to go scare them, except this time she's doing it to defend kris!!! my heart!!!

i love how she also starts being more physically affectionate with them as time goes on? putting her hands on their shoulders and giving them Soft Looks i'm weak, punching them in the arm, grabbing them and shaking them like a ragdoll (i'm sorry it's FUNNY okay), grabbing their arm and running off dragging them after her, maybe someday they'll hug... ugh they're too good. i need to shut up about them i'm sorry. let's move on.

NO WAIT ONE MORE QUICK THING HANG ON so i caught up on the spamton sweepstakes and looked at noelle's blog posts and the one about kris and susie is SO iconic i can't even put it into words. literally every single part of it is absolutely legendary while simultaneously being hysterically funny. the entire conversation and the thing about the apple and epic gamer reaction speed. like it is SUCH a power move that i take back what i said about susie being the coolest character because actually it's kris, kris is the coolest character.

seriously though you get the vibe that they were already so close to just going "screw it" and becoming best friends, that's how good the dynamic already was. susie trying sooooooo hard to bully kris (like that "bully makes sure to bully you with your correct pronouns" meme) but it never works bc kris just finds it funny and does stupid stuff like bite into the apple susie was threatening them with. listen the dark world adventures just accelerated the inevitable okay, they were absolutely going to become besties at some point regardless. platonic tension or whatever if that exists. it was going to happen. and it is hilarious.

what did kris even say that freaked susie out so much? probably something like "at least i have a mother", but also i like the shitpost suggestions like "cringe" or "i know u have a tail" or "sounds like you need some updog" or "you wanna kiss me so bad it makes you look stupid" or-- you know, something that dealt her 99999999 psychic damage

okay NOW i'm done, moving on

ralsei is a good and excellent and precious little bean and i do not think he is secretly evil or anything like that. and even if he was, i would just support him because he deserves it. i'm a flowey enjoyer, i can handle it.

listen, i know he's suspicious, i know he's hiding something, but... does that really make him evil? i genuinely think he has the best of intentions and is trying to do the right thing, even if it may have unforeseen and unintended negative consequences. that doesn't make him evil!!! he's just a little guy!!!! a sweet little peach who we love to see!!!!! he didn't have any friends before kris and susie showed up, in fact he was all alone for god knows how long, so even if he's awkward or reacts in an unusual way at certain times, how are we expecting him to have people skills when he's never been around, yknow, people?? he just wants to make everyone happy! he loves his friends!

and he's not asriel shut up shut up shut up he can be as lovey dovey with kris as he wants

i always feel the slightest bit bad whenever i pick the "hug ralsei" options, because kris might be weirded out by it... i don't think they necessarily dislike him, but they don't know him that well, and in any case he's a goat which might remind kris of their family?

but then again part of ralsei's arc (aside from learning that sometimes violence is needed) seems to be him gaining an identity of his own outside of his assigned purpose. darkners are supposed to make lightners happy, and ralsei has the prophecy stuff to take care of on top of that, and he's a people-pleaser and very much a doormat, but in the boat scene he confesses he doesn't really know who he himself is and maybe wants to figure that out. i think his time hanging out alone with susie in that chapter helped a lot actually -- he taught her a healing spell, she taught him sarcasm, and he came to realise that what he loves about susie is her personality, even though she's not friendly or kind like he is. so he's realising he doesn't need to just submit to everyone else's wishes in order to be a person, or for them to like him.

(side note, the susie and ralsei duo are SO UNDERRATED. the bit when ralsei heals susie by hugging her and then she drags him off with her because she wants to learn it herself! you see them having fun and eating candyfloss together! the glasses scene!! the glasses scene!!! susie also ate some of the dummy's clothes!!! they love each other's tea flavours!!!!!! GOD they're good.)

i've seen people suggesting that since darkners are personfications of objects or digital things in the light world, ralsei could be the manifestation of kris's old horn headband and therefore the desire to fit in and be accepted by those around them. i like that theory a lot tbh, because first of all ralsei is a goat with a very goat-family name (probably why he always reminds people of asriel lmao), and kris is a lone human in a goat family and town full of monsters. ralsei also always tries his hardest to be kind and friendly and make people like him -- the desire to be accepted.

if this were true, kris's mixed feelings about him could make a lot of sense. ralsei would be the personification of something that kris failed to be, no matter how hard they tried. kris is a human, and a weirdo who people don't care much for, and they definitely can't fit in. seeing ralsei might be a painful reminder of an ideal they just couldn't live up to. on the other hand, i think it's sweet that ralsei adores kris so much, because it shows that even this idealised version of kris is not disappointed at seeing what the real kris turned out to be -- he still loves kris all the same! it's kind of like, uh, a weird screwy self-love thing if you look at it like that?

or maybe ralsei knows about the player... god, i don't even know. maybe he chases us away during the susie and noelle scenes so he can talk to kris without us there. maybe he feels guilty at getting all these cuddles and that (SHIPPY AS HELL HELLO???) boat ride tunnel of love scene, because he's aware it might not be what kris actually wants and might even weird them out... i have no clue what he's up to and we're not far enough into the story that i can even speculate without it being wild conjecture that i'm making up in my head based on literally nothing lmao i'm just gonna stop talking about ralsei now this has gone on for way too long

noelle is such a crunchy and interesting character and the fact that you can torture her into becoming your minion in the weird route is so horrifying, i'm actually kind of morbidly obsessed with it. i can't look at the word "proceed" the same way ever again. she also knows kris the best so you get so much insight into kris's character through noelle's interactions with them!

like the fact that the two are childhood friends, and have a level of comfort and familiarity with each other that shows their established bond. you can make kris prank noelle and she'll laugh and do it back, which is WILD when you consider how noelle is usually quite meek and shy. but she's completely comfortable with kris!! you have to throw copious amounts of mice at her even in the good route, and there's the whole cheese incident, but it never damages noelle's opinion of kris since she's already used to kris trolling her all the time! they may not have been close for some years now, but their interlinked pasts give them both a deep level of trust for each other! their conversations are so candid and fun and it's great to see how happy noelle is if you choose to have kris call her a friend!!!! i love them i love them

(i wonder what happened to dess... why am i reminded of a certain plot point in omori? i'm not spoiling omori unprompted here but all i'll say is if you know, you know.)

also this is not relevant to anything at all but i love that sweet capn cakes decide to play music for noelle and it's JINGLE BELLS. her christmas theme is on point. merry christmas to noelle holiday and her family only, by the way.

anyway, the weird route -- it's extra horrifying because noelle already was suffering (her dad's ill and dying, her sister is no longer around, her mum is very strict) and now you force her to kill and kill and push her to even kill her best friend, and the only thing that can keep her sane is telling herself it's just a dream, but then you shatter that for her too... when you face the final boss in later chapters, would having an OP snowgrave noelle as your minion in the final battle basically be a substitute for not having recruited npcs to help you? will noelle herself be the final boss? i'm really intrigued to see what will happen with her in future chapters on different routes.

oh and kris is just horrified??? they can't stop you, they're forced to torture their old friend like this and witness berdly's death, and also forced to push noelle into this extremely screwed up relationship, making her kill someone to steal a ring, and then later giving her another ring with thorns that cause her pain... oof. i mean it's one way of making noelle romanceable i guess? but at what cost... the [[Hyperlink Blocked]] was NOT worth it 😔...

more cheerful stuff now. noelle's blogposts in the spamton sweepstakes have been giving me life. bless her, she should just write a book. it's so adorable how she describes things, like creepy glitches she finds in video games, and her very sweet and obvious crush on susie, which makes a lot of sense when you find out that noelle likes things that scare her. (though i guess that makes the weird route even more twisted in a way...)

(also, does... does everyone have a crush on susie? just all of them? good for her i guess! i know i lean more towards krusie if it wasn't obvious but honestly i'm cool with like literally any combination of kris, susie, ralsei, noelle, heck berdly too. chapter 2 felt like a fricking dating sim at some points. the acid tunnel of love, the ferris wheel scene, the festival choice... ah, teenagers, lmao. i'd be cool if none of it was canon by the end either, i'm a friendship stan at heart.)

i wasn't intending to go on this long but now i can't shut up so a few other things i love about this game. first of all, BERDLY. i'm sorry but the haters are just Wrong, berdly is the best. like i'm sorry, we all (correctly) stan susie despite her threatening to bite people's faces off and beating people up all the time, yet people draw the line at the Mildly Annoying But Mostly In A Funny Way guy?? seriously, his annoyingness is just funny!! he's so over the top that it wraps round into comedy! i can't be the only person who thought so, right?

and then his backstory made him relatable... far too relatable... *cough cough* ahem, er, anyway. i also love how he genuinely values his friendship with noelle so much (and noelle cares about him too, so there). he does the polar opposite of Nice Guy behaviour -- he's not interested in noelle like that, but mistakenly thought that she was (HAROLD....), and was worried that it would mess up their friendship, since he DOES adore her and didn't want her to feel let down. he even apologises for it, bless him. and then he gets throttled lmao

and in the weird route he freaks out when he sees what "kris" is doing to noelle and tries to legit help her and then HE JUST FUCKING DIES. YOU HAVE TO MAKE NOELLE MURDER HIM. ARE YOU KIDDING. YOU HAVE TO FORCE HER INTO KILLING HER BEST FREAKING FRIEND AND THEN AT THE END OF THE GAME IN THE LIBRARY HE DOESN'T WAKE UP. NOELLE IS IN DENIAL AND THINKS HE'S ASLEEP BUT LATER YOU MAKE IT CLEAR TO HER THAT IT WASN'T A DREAM SO SHE'LL KNOW THAT SHE KILLED BERDLY. THAT'S SO MESSED UP WHAT THE FUCK

hmm what else... oh yeah, queen is fantastic and i love her. not only is she hilarious, it's also sweet that she really does care about noelle (sweetie honey gravy etc) even if she's somewhat misguided, and she comes round in the end. and the scene where she's drunk and leaning on kris overdramatically like "you GET me, kris, you don't do things like have opinions or scream when i capture you..." is peak comedy to me, i'm obsessed. i also love the punch out fight against her.

lancer is so cute, he is the baby brother of the group. i always name them the lancer fan club because that's the objectively best choice. if anything happens to him i will kill everyone in this game and then myself. the scene where susie is fighting him broke my heart, i immediately launched myself directly into the bullets because i couldn't bear it and then he SWERVED TO AVOID IT because he didn't want to hurt susie even with her threatening to kill him. heck, poor my poor baby boy is too good.

when asriel comes back from uni i'm going to lose my entire mind. he was my fav in undertale and i can't wait to see what he's like when he's not, um, yknow, an evil flower who's like 8 years old. kris seems to miss him a lot and i bet he misses them too, they seemed very close. i hope asriel forgives himself for throwing yoshi in the pit.

the music is, as always, top tier. every time i hear that little "don't forget, i'm with you in the dark" theme that's all over the soundtrack i feel like a genius for noticing it lmao, even though it's obvious. i still don't know if that line is supposed to be a comfort or a threat. maybe both?

*sigh* guess i have to talk about spamton, since he's the game's tumblr sexyman and, well, i am on tumblr. at first i didn't care about him much because i forgot to go back and visit his shop after the first encounter so i mostly forgot about him entirely. later i went back and redid the first chapter so i could beat jevil (who was really hard to beat and took forever), so i also redid chapter 2 to fight spamton neo (who was nowhere near as hard to beat) and hooooo boy

the music and atmosphere in his shop is just... terrifying? kris clearly thinks so, with the massive "ESCAPE" and "RUN AWAY" buttons, and yet you're forcing them to go there alone and accept shady deals from this shady guy. as a whole, the chapter gives me very childhood internet vibes, which is nice and rather nostalgic, but the spamton side also makes it creepy somehow, reminding you of the dark corners of 90s/00s internet.

in the basement i beat the teacups of doom on the first try and i will be flexing about this forever

the puppet thing... do i even need to say anything? spamton trying so hard to gain his freedom only to drop dead when his strings are cut. what does that say about kris, who is also being puppeteered? no wonder they freaked out afterwards... the whole experience must have been so unsettling for them and we really just made them do that against their will, when they didn't have to. i'm glad susie and ralsei rushed in to help and didn't let kris go through that alone. (except in the weird route, poor kris...)

i wonder what [[Hyperlink Blocked]] is or if we'll even find out. at first i was thinking it could be freedom, like kris wanting to take back control of their life, but the thing is, spamton does openly mention freedom at some points. i've seen people suggest that maybe it's love -- the double meaning of love, and LOVE as in "level of violence" from undertale? it could make sense, since kris is lonely now that their brother is gone and probably does want people around who care about them, and we know that spamton is lonely too. he even does that "alone on a friday night? god you're pathetic" thing skjgkslkjgekrkgesrn

it makes the weird route even more cursed of course... you push kris and noelle into their toxic relationship through lots and lots of murder, so they gained love, but also LOVE =) sorry sorry i'm still sometimes an evil aro who thrives off negative or toxic portrayals of love in media, to show that it's a neutral emotion and isn't inherently a force for good unless you actively choose to make it one and choose to make your love a good thing, it can just as easily go the other way and be bad, it isn't a magic fix-all
