You clap your hands to your class's attention, waiting for them to clap the rhythm back at you.

"Alright kids, pull out your math workbooks we're gonna do-" you trail off when a knock on the doorframe of your classroom distracts you. When you turn your head, Bucky's smiling at you with a bouquet of flowers.

"James! Hi." You say walking over to him with a confused chuckle.

"Hey doll, sorry to interrupt." Bucky meets you before you get all the way to the door.

"I love you and, of course, I'm happy to see you, but I thought we were meeting later? Did I get that wrong?"

"Nah we're still meeting later, just wanted to get a jump on things. Brought you flowers." He says handing you the flowers and kissing your cheek. This, obviously, sends your class of eight year olds into a flurry of squeals and oos.

"Settle down my dears." You tell them with a chuckle. "This is a wonderful surprise sweetheart, the flowers are beautiful." You say to Bucky softly.

"I thought you'd like them. I don't wanna derail your class too much so I'm gonna go. I'll pick you up at 7?"

"Yeah that's fine, thank you for stopping by." You smile at him. Bucky gives you one last kiss before leaving your classroom.

"Miss y/n!" One of your students, Alya, shoots her hand into the air as you set the flowers on your desk.

"Yes miss Alya?" You look at her.

"Is that your boyfriend?" She asks.

"Yes, it is. Today's our anniversary but, he's like this most of the time." You muse. Several of your students oo and aw at your statement.

"He's so handsome Miss y/n!" Carla, another student, tells you.

"He is, isn't he?" You laugh. "Anyway lovelies, get out your math workbooks if you didn't before, we're going to continue working on fractions." You say refocusing to get through your lesson plan. You finish out the afternoon with your kids and get everyone ready to go home for the day. You sit at your desk, doing some grading while kids get picked up or leave to get on their buses. By the time the last of your students are dismissed, it's after four. You pack up your things and head home to get ready for your anniversary with your bouquet from Bucky in hand. When you get home you immediately put the flowers in a vase with water before getting into the shower. You take your time, enjoying the hot water on your skin after a long day.

By the time you finally step out of the shower, it's almost six. You put on a knee-length black off-shoulder dress with a short slit in it. Your makeup for the night is a gold smokey eye with red lipstick. You finish the outfit with red heels, some gold earrings, and a matching necklace plus a gold clutch bag. Once you've finished getting ready it's almost 7. You use the extra time to clean up the mini tornado you caused while getting ready. When you hear a knock on your apartment door you grab your purse and open it to find Bucky waiting with his hands in his pockets. He lets out a slow whistle as he takes you in.

"God, you look gorgeous." He breathes and you giggle at the compliment.

"You look pretty good yourself, and we match." You tell him stepping into the hall to lock your door. He's wearing a red dress shirt and black slacks. It's almost like he knew what you'd be wearing.

"I know my girl." He shrugs holding out his arm to you. You loop your arm through his and let him lead you to his car. You don't talk on the drive there, not for lack of conversation or anything, Bucky just hasn't told you where you're going and you're hoping to guess before you get there. After about 20 minutes, he pulls up to a nice restaurant you've never been to before. He parks and walks around to your side of the car, opening your door and helping you out. He always insists on it when you're out together. You look at him curiously as he leads you inside.

"I was talking to Sam and he said this was a really good place for Italian food. I know we've never been but since you really like Italian I thought it'd be a nice spot." Bucky explains finally before talking to the maitre D.

"It looks lovely." You say quietly as you're led to your table.

"Well hopefully the food lives up." He hums.

"Besides surprising me at school this afternoon, how was your day?" You ask him while looking over the menu.

"It was great, got tons of errands done since I didn't go into the bookstore today."

"Productive then. That's lovely."

"How was the rest of your day pan out? Did I totally screw up your lesson plan?"

"Not totally. The kiddos had some questions but, we managed to get back to fractions pretty quickly once I answered a few of them."

"Questions, huh?"

"Just who you were, really. They think you're handsome." You smile.

"That's cute." Bucky chuckles.

"It was! I think I'll keep the flowers in my classroom. They're at home now because- I didn't have a vase at school but I plan to take them back." You tell him. Before he can reply, a server comes up to you and asks if you're ready to order. You each order your choices and Bucky picks a wine to share that will go with both of your meals.

"Did you- look up wine pairings before we came here?" You ask, surprised with how quickly he decided on a wine.

"Well, not technically but I've been learning my way around wine selections. Nat says it's an important skill to have." He shrugs.

"I dunno how important I'd say it is but it is impressive."

"If it's impressive to you then I'd say it's plenty important." Bucky picks your hand up from the table to place a kiss on the back of it and you feel your cheeks heat. The conversation changes then and the two of you shift to sharing memories of the last year over your meal. You laugh over things like Lily's meddling to get you together and your first few awkward dates where you were both still too nervous about things being perfect, milestones like the day Bucky asked you to be his girlfriend, or when you threw him a party for his birthday. Bucky surprises you with his recollection of silly moments you hadn't even realized he noticed and you surprise him with pictures you've taken when he's not looking. The food is wonderful, though you're barely thinking about that because you're so focused on enjoying each other's company, but you do split a desert before you finally leave the restaurant arm in arm. When you're back in the car Bucky doesn't start the car right away.

"Is everything alrigh-" before you can even finish your question, Bucky kisses you fiercely with a hand at the back of your neck holding you in place. You kiss him back with as much passion as he's giving you and you're panting by the time he pulls away.

"I've been wanting to do that all night, but I knew you'd scold me for messing up your lipstick." Bucky says breathily as he leans back into his own seat with his hand still gently against your neck.

"Oh." Is the only response you can muster at first, "well, dinner's over now so- I guess it's okay." You add.

"You know, Steve has Lily for til morning if you'd like to... keep celebrating." Bucky says. His hand is now on your leg, a thumb distractingly rubbing against the skin exposed by your slit.

"It- sounds like you have something in mind." You mutter.

"Oh trust me, I do." Bucky hums. You lean over the center console, close enough that your lips practically graze his ear.

"Well, show me." You say softly, nipping his ear. The action makes him shudder and before you've even settled back into your seat Bucky's pulling out of the parking lot a little too fast. "Bucky slow down." You giggle at his sudden eagerness.

"You say things like that to me and expect me not to react? Come on doll I nearly ripped your dress off right there in the parking lot." Bucky says, hands gripping the steering wheel tightly.

"We have all night for you to do whatever you want to me James just don't crash before we get there." You muse.

"I love you baby but if you keep talking that way we aren't going to get there." Bucky grumbles. You chuckle to yourself but decide not to push his buttons anymore. The rest of your drive is quiet and quick. Bucky hops out of the car and rushes over to open your door for you. You try not to laugh as Bucky leads you to his front door. He unlocks the door and practically pulls you into the house. You take a second to shut the door behind you although as you're trying to lock it, Bucky cages you between the door and his body. You manage to twist the lock before Bucky kisses you intensely. Bucky's lips against yours make you gasp and he uses the opportunity to slip his tongue into your mouth. I passed N1!

Yep, as the title suggested. I took JLPT N1 exam this July and the here's my result!

I didn't have time to write about how the exam was, so I'm using this as a good opportunity to write about it. Though, it won't be as clear as that very day.

Reading

I started off with my usual way, doing the 読解 very early. This time I tried to apply some tricks I learned from Sou-matome hoping it would help me which is

Skimming the first time -> Read again while making different symbols for different types of keyword including conjunctions too. I didn't have time to summarize each paragraph of course. I could only underline some phrases I think were important.

Knowing that I won't have enough time to do all of them, my time management was a little better. I skipped to finish the last reading problem first, the one with an information/table/graph.

In the end I couldn't finish only one big mondai which is fine. I did my best. And looking at my reading score, I was 1 point from failing which is really scary. If I take a test again, this is what I need to improve on.

Also the girl sat next to me finished it with 45 mintues left and took a nap. I wonder who she is...

Vocabs/Kanji/Grammar

Grammar part was actually the first section I do. This time I must say it was harder than I thought especially the star one. It was surprisingly confusing. There were a lot of problems I marked to do it later because I couldn't figure out the answer at all. Despite that, the format is the same as the last round. There was one polite language, and this time I didn't let it catch me off guard again because I was well prepared. Other than that, I kinda forgot...

Vocabs and Kanji, I did these when I had 10 minutes left. Kanji was so easy that I could speedrun through it. There were some that I wasn't so sure like 粘膜 or 誓約書 but in the end I correctly answered all 6 oft them. For choosing the right vocab, I'm okay with some. There are some that I felt stupid choosing, trusting my gut rather of my brain like when I choose 低迷 instead of 返上. I know the first one isn't that close but I chose it anyway...

Choosing the same words were almost all correct if it wasn't for the word ぞんざい. I've seen this word TOO MANY TIMES in the textbook or Anki but yet I could choose the right counterpart of it because it has too many meanings and I guess I wasn't so precise.

Lastly, the context usage. We have this 風潮 which I didn't even know how to pronounce it. It was hard deciding whter it litereally means as the kanjis show or is it something more figurative like a trend. (I chose the wrong one). There was 補填 and other words that mean a similar thing. I still couldn't figure out the differences lmao. And the last one, which was コ��スタント. Should it be a constant (like a math) or constantly? or always or stable action? It was hard to choose but I made the right choice YIPPEE. I only 5 mintues but I had to read every single sentences so I was shaking a little bit but gladly, some are easy that I could tell from a glance like もたらす or how to use 撤回する -> 宣言撤回 from 籠り唄 by 悒うつぼ really helped me TT

Listening

There was no guarantee that I will pass the listening test. That's the scariest part. But I think I did pretty decent. Every time there is a listening mondai where they explain 4 things, could be 4 courses, 4 items, 4 rooms. And there will be a couple talking. Then you have to answer what each of them choose BUT THIS TIME THEY DIDNT DO THAT they go with what the girl choose first and what did both two have done I thought I could understand all of the 4 activities and I was going to be fine but nah. (maybe I really did)

Overall I'm just happy that I pass regardless of the score. All of the effort really paid off! The learning journey will continue despite reaching this level and I hope I can learn more and more from now on.

I can so relate to those experiences of sensing when something just feels incredibly “wrong.” I’ve lived in so many houses, really old ones too, and that feeling of sudden danger never gets easier to handle! i think i have hit a point where my mental state is bad enough that i don't even have the energy to wash off menstruation blood that drenches my underwear lmao. it's been almost 24 hours and all i did was lie down, not caring about the mess down there. this is a new low for me. i thought not bathing for a week was bad enough, so i didn't expect my exhaustion to reach an even lower point.

damn. i have no official diagnoses (because the one time i tried to seek help, i chickened out from admitting my struggles, since a lot of them manifested in hygiene issues. mainstream mental illness acceptance only acknowledges crying in the dark (which isn't exactly accepted either, i'm well aware. i have that as a symptoms myself. i know the acceptance is mostly performative). but people don't even want to those with hygiene issues even performatively, so yeah.), so i honestly doubt myself a lot and think that what i'm experiencing is just normal human experience. but i don't think the average human would stand having menstruation blood for almost a day and would do their best to overcome their disgust, so yeah. then again, i have never been the most sanitary person (i really struggle a lot with hygiene since i was a kid, so maybe i just developed extreme tolerance towards stuff like this), so i'm not surprised that even this isn't enough to kickstart my motivation and energy to shower.

honestly, it's funny. one blessing in this situation is that i feel zero internalized shame. it is what it is, grossness doesn't diminish my worth as a human being. it just is. but i do fear judgment from others, so i always keep this part of my self secret, even to mental health professionals. and sometimes i also think, if hygiene issue was such a normal part of my life, does it even count as a proof that i'm struggling? as in, if a math genius suddenly struggles with it, there's probably something wrong with them. however, if they've always been bad at math, then them not being able to answer a math question probably doesn't indicate anything serious... maybe? something like this, but with me and hygiene issues.

i don't know what i even want about this ask. i just wanted to let it out, i guess? i have a lot of stuff that i desperately want to let out and vent about, but this one is one of the things i genuinely can't see anyone receiving well without judging me, so i might as well let it out anonymously

I'm so sorry to hear about what you've been going through.

It can definitely be hard to admit your struggles, especially when there's a worry someone may find it shameful or gross, even though you have nothing to feel ashamed about. What you're experiencing is real and valid.

Please know you're not alone. Hygiene has also been a big issue for me due to depression, and I agree that this subject should be alongside societal discussions about depression.

I think it's good that you don't feel any internalized shame about this, because you don't have to, nor would it be productive. You're right that this doesn't diminish your worth as a human being. That being said, your fears of judgment are valid and common. When I took Intro to Counseling last semester, the professor asked by a show of hands how many people were afraid of being judged, and everyone raised their hands. What might be helpful to ask yourself is, what is it about being judged that you might be afraid of? Because someone judging you for this doesn't mean they're necessarily right to do so, or that you should feel ashamed about what you're going through. You may find helpful this article on REBT's concept of irrational ideas, particularly the bullet points for the first one.

I hope things have gotten better since you wrote in. Feel free to let us know how things have been going.

i am excited !! the bride is one of my oldest friends, we’ve known each other since we were babies and im super psyched for her, what im gonna wear well…😭 i got this superrrr gorgeous dress which was like moss green with pinkish flowers on the bodice and it had a corset and it was just so pretty, totally giving forest fairy princess, right ?? IT CAME BROKEN D: it was missing a strap ?? (it was NOT a strapless dress😭, it literally had one side with the strap intact and the other was just…gone) returned it ofc and i have a different dress coming in the mail so i’ll let you know how that looks when it gets here

You gotta do what you like. Psych and English are great choices. They're interesting to you and that's what matters most. You'll figure the rest out as you go along! I would love to go back to school and be a full time student and just collect degrees like Pokemon cards. I would love a psych degree. I think I would be a good therapist lol. Anything you decide to do is not pointless. People that say stuff like that are unhappy with their own lives because they chose to follow something they weren't passionate about. I can relate as you don't know how many people tell me I should have done more than be a teacher and "those who can't do, teach" which is like a knife to my heart every time I hear it. But even if I WERE to placate the idea and agree for two seconds that some degrees are "pointless" someone has to do the job required of those degrees. So how pointless is it really? English and Psych are so important for mental health fields, creative fields, just general societal norms. There's a reason every college student has to take English 101 and Psych classes for anything they pursue.

I hope that doesn't sound offensive. It's meant to sound more like "it's not pointless, in fact it's so pointed, you have to do it because that's what you want and that's more than enough."

George opened his eyes, the frames on the walls perfectly reflecting the golden light that flooded the room through the window. He turned around excitedly to see you sleeping peacefully beside him, but to George's surprise you were already awake.

"Good morning, love" He said, taking a hand to gently slide your skin under the covers. The smile on George's face began to fade slowly as he looked more closely at your face "What's the matter, dear?"

You had woken up before the sun this morning. Aroused by the intense pain, your cramps promised a long day of discomfort before the day even began.

"Good morning, my love" You replied, your voice weak from the pain "Nothing's wrong, no need to worry. It's just..."

Before you could even finish, George had done the math and understood what the problem was.

"Your little tummy hurts, isn't it?" He asked, leaning closer to you and placing a long kiss on the side of your cheek.

"It's the same as always, y'know, it's no big deal" You stated, perhaps more to yourself than to George.

He could only imagine what you experienced during those periods, but he remembered very well the times he saw you crying in pain, or even the times you needed to be taken to the hospital for more intense medication.

After those times, George started to research, trying to gather as much information that could help you as possible.

"Love" He started to say, getting up from the bed and exposing his bare chest, "I'll take care of you, alright? You just need to tell me what you need."

You were secretly terrified of your mood swings affecting George, so you always tried to pull back a little. He would always bring your favorite candy or offer to run you a hot bath. George even began to plant in the garden a flower which, he researched, the tea could help with period pain. Basically, he deserved the world and you barely felt in those moments that you could return all that love.

"Georgie, I'm gonna be..." You started to say, when you felt your whole body writhe with a new wave of pain. George quickly moved to your side, bringing his hands gently to your stomach in an attempt to warm the spot. His face rested against your neck, whispering that he was right there and that he loved you.

When the new wave of pain wore off, George kissed your cheek more times than you could count, and promised he would take care of you instead of going to the studio with the guys.

Before you could even protest, he left the room announcing that he was going to prepare your special tea and bring more medicine and blankets.

"You just lie right there, and I'll be back so we can lie together for the rest of the day" He announced from the doorway, smiling at the thought that he could spend the day by your side.

A few minutes later, through the window, you could see George picking the flower in the garden with a big smile on his face, excited to be able to help the love of his life.

Paul's voice conveyed the worry that had gripped him minutes ago when you announced that you couldn't go with him to the studio tonight.

He was in bed, still wearing the black jacket and blue shirt he'd set aside for rehearsal, and your head rested against his lap. Taking turns caressing your face and stroking your hair, Paul had asked you more than seven times if you'd felt better in the past five minutes.

"Not yet, Paulie. I doubt I'll feel any better today" You replied, already feeling exhausted "Until my period really comes I'm doomed to cramps."

Paul gave a sad smile and took one of his hands to caress your stomach gently, knowing that your cramps could often be quite cruel.

"I'll stay here with you, then" He announced, unable to tear his eyes away from the patch of skin on your stomach that his fingers had discovered "If you can't go, I can't go."

"Paul, you can't..." You tried to smile but felt a new contraction approaching. Seeing your eyes slam shut, he quickly climbed off the bed and dropped to his knees on the floor, his mouth just inches from your face.

"I'll take care of you, love" Paul whispered as you felt the spasms of pain approaching "I'm going to get that new medicine now and there's nothing you can say that will make me leave you alone."

With a leap, he left the room. He returned a few minutes later, when the spasms had passed, with medicine and a glass of water.

He came back without his jacket or the blue shirt. The shoes, you knew, must have been thrown somewhere in the living room.

"Oh... I think dat just healed me" You joked, noticing Paul's exposed shoulders and belly.

He gave a loud, genuine laugh, the kind that would light up any room "Wait till I tell you what George told me, luve."

You made a questioning expression as you swallowed the medicine and Paul jumped on the bed again, this time pressing on your feet and giving small kisses to your legs.

You saw that he tried not to be distracted by the glow that his kisses aroused in your eyes, but Paul's lips curved more and more in a smile as he approached your thighs.

"Apparently" He continued, in the most seductive voice in the world "Sex is great for cramps, dear."

Reinhardt is 7′4″ without his armor, to my knowledge. In the short Honor and Glory, Balderich appears slightly taller than him. Playing off that notion (tho my shitty eyesight could be wrong?) I’m going to set Great G.Pa’s unarmored height at 7′6″. It’s only a few inches but that can mean the world of a difference to some people.

Also, if Reinhardt is 61 present day Overwatch, thirty years ago during the short he’d be 31! Do we know exactly how old Balderich was back then? Not really. His mustache is black / grey. It could be starting to fade, though he honestly doesn’t look like he’s well past his 50′s. Reinhardt does call him “Old Man” so he’s at least above 40 no?

With Blizzard’s means of meshing / detailing age, it’s hard to say. He still looks young enough to at least be 45? That makes him 14 years older than Reinhardt during the Omnic Crisis and 75 during present day. I may change that though. What do you folks think?

Teasing him about that harness he always wears but that doesn’t seem to have a function (does it? Bc I’m so lost as to what that thing is for lol)

I’m convinced that at some point, during one of those bonfires, the Gladers rediscovered what music is. So whenever there’s music, you can bet he’s gonna dance with you.

Exasperating Alby and Newt with the PDA. Honestly, you’re convinced Minho is doing it on purpose lol.

Sharing a hammock. It’s so uncomfortable bc those things are small, and one wrong move will put you both on the floor, but that’s part of the fun.

Seriously, other Gladers will yell at you to shut up as you’re both trying to get into the same hammock.

But once you’ve managed to get in a position that doesn’t put you at risk of tipping over, it’s easy to get comfortable. Even if you’re half on top of each other and Minho snores loud enough to drown out the sounds of the maze shifting.

Sneaking away to the woods (they have a name, I’ve just forgotten it lmao) for long make-out sessions until someone (usually poor Newt) finds you.

You two communicate almost solely through sarcasm. If someone were to walk in while the two of you were having a conversation, they’d be convinced you two hate each other lol.

Pet names are less pet names and more affectionate insults, if that makes sense.

“Minho, you’re such a dumbass.”

“You’re one to talk, idiot.”

But affectionately.

A/N: Heyo everyone uhh basically my mental state got me fucked up so why don't we make headcanons for numerous Sweet Home characters. 2 parts. Part 1 is a simple them comforting you during an anxiety attack and part 2 is them reacting to you telling them that you're a burnout gifted kid (yes OP needs some fucking help😂).

Characters: Hyuk, Netflix Wook, Hyun, Jisu, Yuri

I suppose content warning? Anxiety is mentioned after all.

Part 1: Them comforting you during an anxiety attack.

Hyuk:

•Guy is clueless as fuck lol.

•He'd try to make things better but he actually kinda made it worse.

•He feels terrible since he feels so useless in this situation. He's not exactly great with people.

•Eventually he gathers himself and gives you a blanket and makes tea.

•Puts on your favorite anime or show in general.

•He apologizes for being so crappy with all this.

•You have a favorite stuffed toy? He'll get it for you.

•Lots of cuddles. If you want he can play a video game and you can watch him.

•He's trying his best :)

•This is only the first time though.

•Around the third to fourth time this happens he'll actually know what he's doing.

•Ask what's wrong and won't panic. He'd be a lot more calm and would definitely be less hesitant to hold you.

•Again just bear with him.

Netflix Wook

•Thought Hyuk was bad? Wook's even worse.

•He doesn't know what to say so he just pats your shoulder.

•Lots of headpats.

•Right after you calm down he searches up about anxiety attacks and what to do if someone is having one.

•He'll also search up what to say to a partner during an anxiety attack.

•The only reason he kept his mouth shut the first time was because he was scared he'd upset you more.

•Want him to cuddle you and hush you? He'll do just that.

•Want him to hold him because you find holding things more comforting then being held? He's already laying down.

•Whatever makes you calm down he will do just that.

•He also buys snacks for you.

•Overall one of those "Quiet Supporter" types. He doesn't really say anything because mind you he isn't exactly great with his words so using gifts and physical affection he will try to calm you down.

Jisu

•Unlike Hyuk and Wook, Jisu is a lot better at handling emotions for the most part.

•She'll immediately ask what's wrong and hold you.

•She'll just listen, and give her input when she feels the time is appropriate.

•She'll order out food and watch a show with you.

•Hell for you? She'd illegally stream a movie lmao.

•Lots of soft blankets.

•If you want, she can sing for you or play the guitar.

•She keeps her composure despite secretly being freaked out since she's never dealt with someone having an anxiety attack.

•She has a bat so if you wanna go out and smash shit up she'll come with you.

•Wanna scream all your worries? She already has her bass set up.

•She'd paint your nails if you want.

•She'll let you lay in her lap (Imagine laying in Jisu's lap☺️)

•Gives headpats.

•Gives scalp massages.

•Just like Wook, provides snacks.

•Would go all the way and buy a fucking pet for you.

Yuri

•See what's so special about Yuri is that she's worked as a caregiver for years, albeit with elders.

•So believe me she's seen a LOT.

•What I'm trying to say is out of everyone here, she's the best when treating you during an anxiety attack.

•She asks what's wrong.

•She never yells by any means.

•She kinda whispers but not really.

•Very calming, uses lots of lavender and chamomile based products.

•Already making some tea (or some drink you like).

•She'll run a shower for you.

•One of the school staff actually almost caught him saying "You're not acting like your usual self. You never get such good score in math."

•Thankfully he looked at how you talk online especially to teachers and managed to kinda copy how you talk online.

•He still thinks you should talk to someone about this. You know someone professional.

•Again though he'll always be there for you.

•He wouldn't know what to tell you.

•"Yeah... that does suck."

•He'll support you and try to get you mental help for it but... yeah.

•He can't really relate to the whole burnout thing so he's very distant here.

•Course that doesn't mean he won't try and help you.

•Again he wants you to get mental help especially since he isn't the best with words.

•Really he's clueless. He'll try his best but honestly even Wook thinks he's the worst person for this.

•She also can't really relate since she was always just the band kid scraping by back in school.

•She's still very empathetic.

•She'll try her absolute best to help you with the long term damage that is gifted child burnout.

•She will make sure you don't go abusing substances. So no you cannot have any of her cigarettes. She will literally throw them all away.

•She'll write songs to motivate you.

•She'll make sure you never give up on something just because you didn't get it right the first time.

•Seriously this woman loves you, she'll do anything to motivate you and make you happy.

Yuri

•Now Yuri can semi-relate. Being trained to take care of the elderly did do a number on her so she knows burnout when she sees it.

•She will literally smack your hand if you try and overwork yourself.

•"Don't. I'll do it."

•She really wants to do everything for you because she hates seeing you all burnt out.

•She's stubborn as hell so it's gonna take a lot to convince her to let you actually do your work.

•Seriously somebody come get her she's starting to burnout herself.

Hyun

•Lmao Hyun can relate 100%

•He IS a burnout gifted kid.

•So yeah he is actually the worst person to go to for this issue since he's having the same problem.

•However! That doesn't make him all bad.

•You can be burnout gifted kids together!

•Whether it's cuddling while comparing your current selves to your past selves or playing video games together to feel a false sense of achievement, you guys are doing this together.

•Is it the best and most healthy way to deal with this problem? No!

•Is it still a pretty great thing to have your boyfriend by your side and sharing all of your pain every step of the way? Hell yeah!

•In all seriousness, you two try to support each other.

•Lean on each other when the burnout gets unbearable. He'll offer a shoulder to cry on and you'll reciprocate (at least I hope you do.)

•You both try to get mental help or at the very least join one of those support servers on Discord.

•You guys often lie in bed late at night talking about how you both feel like failures. To which Hyun says "We can be failures together." In an attempt to make you feel better.

•It actually... kinda helped.

ADHD STUDY TIPS

I have adhd. I'm taking all online classes this semester for college. Somehow, I'm not failing. Here's what I do that works for me!

1. I have an alarm that makes me do math every morning to turn it off, it's called Alarmy! 📚

2. It also plays a different loud sound every day from random-- I have several hundred(?) ringtones downloaded from Zedge, things like songs from shows I like or Pokemon cries or MBMBAM lines, and this helps me wake up to a different sound I'm bound to like which my brain can't get used to (and then ignore). I highly suggest godzilla roars if you need to be startled awake. 📚

3. This is SUPER HARD but I always try to force myself to sit up in bed when I'm turning off my alarm or checking my phone or whatever, so I'm not tempted to pass out again. I also like to get up and loudly tell my cats "good morning" so I wake us both up 📚

4. PLEASE STOP EATING CEREAL AND BAGELS AND STUFF. You would not BELIEVE the difference it makes when you eat things like fruits and eggs in the morning. NO MORE 10AM NAPS, I'M WATCHING YOU 📚

5. I literally schedule in Duolingo time. If you aren't learning a language you can do some other enriching activity like this, idk. I force myself to do it on my computer, not phone, so I can't lay down in bed when I'm doin it. I have a 101-day streak!! 📚

6. ik this isn't available to everyone but SPACE MATTERS SO MUCH!! I got a gaming desk that we put in our living room and I do ALL of my homework there. I also got a second monitor for my laptop with is SOOOO important if you're multitasking (and we all are, bc we're adhders ibdusvcjkn) 📚

7. HAND WRITE YOUR NOTES!!! I know this is super hard for many people-- I have carpal tunnel so I get it lmao. If you can't, at least type them. YOU THINK YOU CAN MEMORIZE INFO BUT YOU'RE WRONG!! Please write as much as you can i swear it will change ur life 📚

8. COLOURED! PENS!!! These changed the game for me y'all. I take all my notes in at least 2 colours, and I cycle through them a lot. My favs are Pilot Frixions because u can erase them :) (the highlighters are epic too) 📚

9. Make your space fun, but NOT DISTRACTING. I have a plant (his name is Yoshi) and a desk Godzilla (his name is Godzilla) on my desk, but they're out of the way so I can't zone out starin at em. But also, when I'm bored outta my gourd, I can smile at Yoshi and tell him how my day is goin :] 📚

10. SNACKING BAD *BUT*... sometimes i do it anyway... i try to associate certain foods with subjects, like I eat cocoa M&Ms (which are awesome) when I'm reading my Kaqchikel textbook. On the upside, I think it helps me recall Kaqchikel better? but also the language makes me crave mnms adkldigurvn 📚

11. LISTEN TO... CERTAIN MUSIC. I have learned that music with words, even in LANGS I DO NOT KNOW, is HELL for my adhd. Right now I'm listening to stuff like "Pokemon and Chill" (lofi album on YT), Studio Ghibli violin covers, and Night on Bald Mountain 5x on repeat ibjnvc.... I highly suggest songs/videos that are, like, 20+ minutes or else you'll get distracted with the constant change. Also, that No One's Around To Help 1hr vid is REALLY REPETITIVE and therefore PERFECT for when I'm reading textbooks. 📚

12. EVERY NIGHT... i make a super detailed timetable schedule for the next day, down to the half hour. I don't always follow it but it's a really good reminder of what I gotta do. I write it on a whiteboard but sometimes I also write it on a sticky note and on social media so I don't forget. To do lists are so epic you guys 📚

13. THIS HAS SAVED MY L I F E: at the beginning of the semester I looked at ALL of my syllabi and wrote down EVERY daily task, test, homework, etc BY DATE. this is essentially a premade to do list EVERY DAY for MONTHS and oh my gosh it is the best thing I have ever done. 📚

14. I use the Forest app to track my productivity AND lock me out of apps ndsjv... podomoro timers work well too!!! 📚

15. Ok so for me this is like... a religious thing bc my Patron (my God) is a deity of fire AND working, but I like to light a candle (scented like FALL!!) and do a little prayer on it and I have it next to me when I'm workin on terrible, terrible homework. It helps me feel like my Patron is here with me, but also it’s GREAT for grounding and I can just kinda. Stare blankly at the flame and then get back to tryin to focus. 📚

16. Please drink water lmao, to make sure I drink enough I set little goals like "take a sip after every paragraph you read" 📚

17. Each of my classes has a different coloured notebook which I'm consistent with! Like, all my German notebooks through the years have been green! Also I take notes w green pens a lot in Deutsch 📚

18. HELLA STICKY NOTES... I put em on the bottom of my monitor, on a shelf by my desk, in my books as bookmarks (bad idea lol), on Yoshi. When I wanna go look up something random but I need to focus, I like to write it down on sticky notes to look at later. 📚

19. I'm the most annoying student ever. I like to do a bunch of assignments at once so I don't have to budget my time later, so I'll turn in like 5 things in an hour and then NOTHING for a week. ALSO i email my teachers constantly if I have any questions at all. I work at a pace that works for me!!! 📚

20. I turn off my sound on my phone until I'm done with work bc otherwise I WILL open that notification 📚

22. I make a loooot of chai (and also some overpriced herbal teas). It makes me feel fancy, it's better for me than coffee, and it helps me ground and focus! Plus it's a samefood! 📚

23. Hyperfixating on classic literature would be awesome, except I'm hyperfixating on Gothic and I'm taking a lit class for More Than Just Gothic. But I'm figuring out ways to connect them, which is really helpful, cause I get to enjoy my hyperfixation while learning for school! PLZ TRY TO DO THIS (harder when you're hyperfixating on godzilla :pensivecowboy:) 📚

21. When I have extra time I write my notes like I'm plannin to put em on Tumblr and taggin em as #darkacademia... I never post my notes, but when they look nice it's easier for me to look over em later. Plus it takes me longer to write so I remember it a lil better!! 📚
