Phil, Tubbo, and Karl stay behind. Tubbo and Karl monitor Ranboo just in case he reverts to his enderwalk state, and also because the gang doesn’t want to risk their lives when they confront Dream (since Tubbo has 1 canon life left, and Karl is less experienced in combat). Phil stays behind to work on the reverse de-aging potion. Meanwhile, Ranboo apologizes to Puffy for hurting her and Puffy takes it in stride.

Sidenote: Sorry for those who thought Tommy’s little Dream mask was of anything significant. Maybe in another reiteration of this AU where Dream stayed, that mask would’ve eventually lead to protege!innit as Dream raises Tommy under his wing.
