Beautiful Space Interior Designing Ideas
Beautiful home interior designing ideas can be achieved by using muted colors and textures, using natural materials. Many homeowners are choosing to focus on eco-friendly practices and turning to sustainable construction methods in order to achieve a home that is also comfortable and functional. When it comes to interior design, there are countless ways to bring traditional beauty and modern technology together seamlessly. Finding inspiration for home decor is no longer a challenge. how do you pick what’s perfect for your home? Well, that’s for your personal taste to decide. Some like it minimal, some feel at home in vibrant spaces. Some keep it old school and some have a taste in ultra-modern interiors. If you want to stay updated on how to keep your interiors spiced up and inspirational at all times, you need to check these out!
Hang Interesting Pendant Lights: Lighting can make or break even the best interior design. If you want to impress guests with thrilling home interior design, be sure to get the lighting right. Pendant lamps are the best choice of lighting for a modern home interior. But when it comes to pendant lights, make sure you choose something that has an extraordinary, unusual design – one that calls attention and can trigger visual focus upward.
Consider colors and fabrics: Start to hone in on the colors you want to use – for the painted walls or wallpaper, furniture, blinds and curtains. The third color could be a highlight for cushions, lampshades, bed quilts and accessories such as a tablecloth or even a painting.
Size up the furniture: Decide on the furniture you want in your room. Think about scale, in a large room you need a big sofa and footstool. Most designers recommend that even small rooms should have one large statement piece, even if it is a headboard in a bedroom. A balance of large and small pieces will create an appealing living space. Keep your furniture simple and natural looking. This will help to unify the whole room and create an atmosphere of calmness and serenity.
Play with patterns: You don’t need to stick to one pattern in a room — you can mix two or three prints harmoniously without much effort. Pay attention to the scale of the patterns — smaller, busier prints look best on compact surfaces such as cushions or tertiary elements, such as a floor rug. Bold, large patterns usually work well on focal elements with white space around them.
Get plants: Whether you are looking to add a statement piece or just want to fill an empty corner or table, indoor plants add depth and character to any room. Plants can add much-needed color to some rooms or bring a touch of freshness into an industrial-style space. You can place plants in earthen pots, cups, mason jars or terrariums, depending on the look you want to create. Add lots of flowers, trees, bird feeders, etcetera to create a lush environment that invites visitors in . .. and makes them feel at home!
Use natural materials such as wood, stone, and clay. These materials have a certain warmth and uniqueness that will make your room feel like your own personal space.
Use bright colours sparingly but energetically to add some life to a dreary room. Opt for cheerful oranges and yellows instead of dull greens and blues, for instance.
Choose mood-setting wallpapers or carpets that perfectly match the colour scheme of the room and complement the natural features of the walls or flooring.

The Papier Project
I have made all these renders for my reference. Too numb but here’s the Final selection of the artworks for my room… if I’ll stay alive I’ll continue and take it up as a challenge cuz I felt really bad, everyone around is doing panelling although I’m always the first to bring such elements and ideas over here to India, I felt left out, I have a POP one which is also beautiful I had given a special order for a moulded base (Victorian) and I should feel grateful for now cuz some foreigners do DIY & nothings as good or as bad as it appears especially on internet so we are all struggling with something or the other. I already know what kind of capping rail and mountboard I want next but I really hope I’m able to find such artisans or moulders, I can’t do the 5 layer one because it’s done by highly skilled professionals and they create those beveled lines right then and there while putting up each individual panel, I wish I could write more… I would’ve explained how it is done, most people opt for other easier options these days because it requires a lot of time and like I said skilled hands. But I have something specific in mind so whatever I’m upto… it won’t be that common. I wish I could do a full on bead board which is slightly different than shiplap or grooving but you don’t get all those proper supplies here, in abroad you nowadays get pre-made beadboards which you just have to nail and paint cuz it’s again quite tricky if you are doing it from scratch. That style is mostly for cottages and stuff, for city homes we need something classic anyway, board & batten or Hampton’s is again not on the top of my list because that’s more of a country style, can’t type much right now I’m relying on autocorrect once I’ll get better and I’ll find someone I’ll share all my thoughts in person along with my ideas that is if they’re close or enough trustworthy. Once our living room is done I’ll shift myself there I hope I’ll stabilise till then… I can’t share my new theme. The 1883 one will go on the back wall along with the Bird lithograph (encyclopaedic) and B&B would be in my entrance below the lamp after entering my room from the door… the small Trees collectible will go next to Annabelle and Warm house would be in the biggest 30 x 40 frame on the front wall. My fav Mag Cover will be on the side below my Russian painting which is already there in my room. I’m gonna keep all my American Folk art as it is and the vintage toys 🧸 painting as well, also the water coloured canvas and my “stationary section” which has a masculine office theme - polo jockey 🏇 water coloured boat and iceberg cruise below my frosted golden wall lamp. The 🦌 elk, Victorian frames and Mid Century artworks will also remain where they are. I won’t elaborate much about the next theme but I’ll share a few points once everything’s done. The front collage will have these artworks now and I’ll be adding a bigger frame in the corner next to my lamp… like I said I have a particular theme in mind and if I would have shared that you would’ve understood my logic but I can’t reveal anything until it’s done. Sorry. To give you a small hint, there’s going to be a lot of minimalism, abstract art, neutrality along with in contrast - traditional richness through various colours & patterns. This time there are going to be fewer oil paintings and more of hand drawn sketches or mute shades and light pastels, Japanese or Koreans are still very traditional in a lot of aspects especially when it comes to art; it reflects their heritage style, you’ll find everything from basket weave to oriental gastronomy, all the warp & weft of their culture plus functionality and style in whatever they do - because of smaller spaces and lots of creativity. I would have added a few elements in lighting as well but you don’t get those accordion pleated lamps in India (as of now) they are based on paper lanterns… nonetheless origami is going to be at its core and all other details will be revealed once my room is ready,
I’ll share what all I’ll be doing to make it more interesting and to give it those vibes. I’m merging 2 things together and alhamdullilah I already have all that I need to go with both (again I can’t share all that stuff) and that is exactly why I’m going to do something I’ve always liked… I recently purchased an electronic item (last week or so my grandfather gave each one of us 5k lol so I added my other savings and I got something from the official site but they’ll be shipping it tomorrow…) and luckily even though I was confused I got it in the same shade as the rest of my stuff and it’ll match my next colour scheme.

Tips to use home decor items to decorate a modern home
The modern home is more than just a place to live in today's fast-paced society; it's also a haven, a showcase for one's particular style, and the centre of modern living. A contemporary home's decor should embrace simplicity, clean lines, and practical design while adding warmth and character. Adding handmade home decor items and wall décor options online for your space can be the best option.
Here are some ideas to help you create a contemporary and welcoming ambience, whether beginning from scratch or giving your home a makeover.
Types of modern home décor items to decorate and design your home
Spice up your living room, bedroom, and home corners with a few choice pieces that reflect your style.
Modern Colourful Horse Bust by Satgurus: Handmade goods frequently have slight variances, inconsistencies, and defects that are testaments to the artistry of their makers. Accept these distinctive qualities as a part of their innate beauty rather than defects. This colourful, trendy horse statue gives any room a pop of colour and modern flair.
It is a unique piece with a distinctive design and vibrant colour scheme, and its delicate craftsmanship guarantees a long-lasting display. Ideal for anyone looking for a chic and striking piece of home décor.

This item, which was expertly crafted, features beautiful stonework that would elevate any area. A distinctive and striking touch can be added to a modern home by decorating it with an elephant statue.
When adding a statue like this, consider positioning it to command attention as a focal point, like a console or side table. This is a stunning addition for anyone who appreciates exquisite art.
Shivaji Maharaj On Singhasan in Black by Satgurus: In the sixteenth century BC, Shivaji Maharaj, a courageous Maratha monarch, defended the western regions of India against the Mughal invasion. Introducing the Shivaji statue on Singhasan.
This bold Maratha king statue is made of resin and has a sleek black finish, giving it a regal appearance for home decor. This exquisite piece represents caution and pride. Show respect for Shivaji Maharaj while giving your interior design a refined touch.
The Namaskaram - Yoga Series 2022 by Satgurus: One excellent would be to add calm and awareness to your home is by decorating it with a Namaskar yoga statue. These exquisite sculptures, which frequently show someone in the classic namaste stance, can be arranged throughout the house to create a relaxing atmosphere. To give your area a unique touch, try your hand at some of the specially crafted, hand-painted ceramic statues.
Show off your passion for exercise and yoga with this lovely statue of a yoga asana. One common location for the statue is on a bookshelf or side table, which can be a beautiful addition to your yoga room. To further improve the contemplative atmosphere, consider arranging the statue creatively with other natural objects like plants, candles, or crystals.

One More Day - set moodboard and planning
As soon as I joined the project, the director, Alfie, sent me a link to a milanote, where him and the rest of the team had been putting any information relevant to the film up for all of us to access. This was really useful for me to catch up on all the work that had been done, and access any important changes such as script updates and team additions. Additionally, we can see updates from all other departments, even if they don't affect my job completely, it is still really interesting to have a look at where they've got to.
When I joined the milanote, there was already a section made for production design so I got started planning out my jobs for the next few weeks. For set inspiration I created a moodboard and using shot deck, I found photos which correlated with how I imagined the set to look. Since visiting the location myself, I can imagine scrap material boarding up the "windows", mats/sleeping bags laid out messily on the floor, a makeshift bucket table and cans thrown around everywhere.
Set Inspiration:
The Last of Us
Children of Men
Trainspotting
The Pianist
The Maze Runner
I got inspiration from mainly post-apocalypse and adventure films, which I think all accurately capture the sense of desperation and survival that our characters experience. I want the room to look unclean, not looked after, with the character's belonging's scattered all over the place. At the same time I would like for there to be a clear divide between the two characters - for it to be clear who's belongings are whose and where they sleep, to show that they have been squatting here for a long time, waiting just one more day to get out.
set moodboard - I am still planning to add to this moodboard until the actual shoot.
From here, I went through the most updated script and made a props list. This was rather limited at first, however after going through it with Alfie, we were able to come up with much more ideas to make the room seem lived in.
Alfie mentioned that he wanted them to sit either side of a makeshift table with a chessboard on it to show how they've been trying to keep themselves busy. I really like this idea and if we can, I'd like have some of the pieces be broken or missing - as if the characters have just found them and have to play with what they have.
Something that was not included in the script but I thought might make the space more visually interesting, is the use of a ripped bedsheet as a divide between the characters. This sheet would be hanging from the ceiling, loosely fallen during this scene. These characters have to spend every second of the day together, hence I thought it would be a good indicator that they want their space at night. Additionally, I like to think that John would have thought of this idea of making this little divide using bedsheets, since he had a little sister (Sarah, mentioned in the script), who he used to make bedsheet tents with before the disaster that put our two characters in this position. I discussed this with Alfie and Duncan and they both thought it would be a good addition. Ideally, I would use a lighter colour to contrast the dark walls in the room, but I would stain it with paint to make it seem used and found.
A little bit like these make-shift tents from Hook (1991), I Am Not A Witch (2017) and Stranger Things (2016-present).
For the dog food brand to put on the tin, I have talked to India - our art department - to ask if they could create a label to put on one of the tins. We have been discussing some designs and I am quite excited to see it brought to life.
Making this moodboard and discussing ideas with Alfie, Duncan, Finlay and India has made me increasingly excited to create this world for our characters to live in. My next steps are to make costume moodboards for each character and discuss with Alfie the personalities of each character in order to incorporate these into their costumes.

8 Soothing Interior Wall Paint Ideas For Living Room-Nippon paint India
Interior wall paints for home are some of the most crucial decisions in designing a house. The reason is simple – you are going to live there for several years at least. How a home makes you feel is determined by many factors, including the interior wall paints of the home. Colours have a unique capability of shifting your mood based on the vibe they emit.
White and grey
White has been the most preferred colour for living room, especially in 2021, according to several interior designers. White brings peace and harmony within the household.
Off white and pink
Continuing in the lines of combinations for interior wall paints of home, living rooms can look both calm and fun. Pink like Strawberry Ice (NP R 1266 T) has a natural floral tendency, giving it a blush look all over.
Soft greens
Greens are usually associated with bold and bright shades. However, soft greens like Green Gazette (NP BGG 1630 T) add to a nature inspired earthy vibe, while maintaining a calm environment.
Calming blues
Calming blue shades like sky blue and light blue have relaxing properties and are suitable for the living room to sit back and chill
Mauve
Mauve and violet have blue as their base, thereby contributing to a relaxing and calm mood in the living room.

My time in india🇮🇳
I started my journey in Goa. This place was a tropical paradise, but I knew that it was not the real india. There were boat trips, dolphin watching, beach dogs with matted hair, and eating delicious fruit for breakfast. There were lots of holiday makers there and it attracts a crowd of ‘tourists’ rather than travellers.
Then I took the step to go to pushkar in north india. I knew I was going to get the ‘culture shock’ everyone had told me about, in Goa you didn't quite feel it. Goa was a hippie vibe, lots of tourists and they speak a South Indian language. Spiritually, I didn't experience anything profound there - the vibe I got from most people was that religion was a part of their life, and culture, but they did not follow it profusely. Nevertheless, I got a taste of the ‘intoxication’ of india, even if it was a bit more toned down version.
Coming to pushkar was like a shock to the system, the sounds, smells and taste were all more intense. Upon arriving for holi festival we were greeted by crowds of men gushing into small lanes, all high energy and with lots of powdered colour on their clothes and faces. It was overwhelming, and the idea I had in my head about this festival was very different to the reality. We missed the main festivities but went out in the early evening to explore. This was the kind of festival where everyone gets involved, even the street sellers, and the animals too.
“At the Holi Festival, participants throw powder dye into the air, covering all in attendance with vibrant colors. In a religious sense, the colors are rich with symbolism and have multiple meanings: they can mean a vibrant new life and even represent sin in a way. For some, washing off the dye at the end of the day can mean new commitment to live well, as cleansing oneself of evils and demons”
Jaisalmer - they call this place the golden city. Upon arriving I was greeted by the hotel staff, transported on a motorbike and then slept the night in to a small hotel room. I quickly realised I could get a much better hotel experience, so I started looking around. I landed in this hotel called ‘moustache’ a kind of 21st century mini palace, the walls made out of ‘sandstone’ (most of the buildings there are made out of this material), the concierge showed me a room that had an amazing bed mantle, beautiful sofa and it was like something out of a Disney movie. I felt like a princess. But not just princess in the ‘luxurious’ type, like this room was really royal, and special. I felt like I was living out some kind of jasmine Aladdin fantasy.
There were many havelis and horses around , in the fort we were able to see the city from above, peer out into the golden landscape, whilst the heat was almost unbearable.
Going into the desert was like living my inner child's wildest fantasies. We rode on a camel into the sunset and slept under the stars. I kept staring at this one star that was shining so bright. Every time I looked at it I would get emotional. I had never seen seen stars so clearly before, one moment I was lying down, taking it all in, and then I saw a shooting star across the sky. It was a moment of magic. The whole night felt like a drug trip, completely intoxicated by the beauty surrounding me, I was speechless.
Seeing the Taj Mahal was an experience ill never forget. Upon arriving inside the gates leading up to the building, I stopped and stared. I was at once mesmerised by its beauty.
Then I headed north for Rishikesh, a mountain town that echos the Himalayas, being up in the mountains felt like living on a cloud. Every single place in india felt like a different country within a universe. it was in Rishikesh where I found my creative flow, beginning to paint trippy sacred geometry that gave out ‘the good vibes’ with the help of the workshop instructor, I was able to find my own expression, not a copy of someone else’s. I was able to work through inner criticism and self sabotage. I became a painter.
I met a guru in Rishikesh, he said that everyone has to find their own truth in life, and their own answers. He asked me “have you seen God?” I could not answer, and was overwhelmed with emotion. Ide never been confronted with such a raw question before. I got into some deep thought after that. I still dont know the answer to that question. I have felt God. In people, in nature, and the stars, like in the desert. I have spoken to God. There have been times when life has felt so difficult, it does not feel like I am doing it alone without some kind of help.
Meeting the guru was an interesting experience, but I would say that he didnt have any insight to offer than any other random person I would meet on the street in india. The people in india live from their heart, not their head. They worship God, not money. And they value happiness over materialism. Every single person I met had something to teach me. And I was thankful for every interaction.
Backpacking ttraveling is really hard. But i'm glad I do it. I get to experience the real country, not the watered down, tourist version of it.
There have been shocking moments in india that have made me so thankful for all I have. And not just grateful in the sense of ‘I should be grateful, so I am’ well and truly feeling gratitude in my bones for every moment.
I have met people with no legs, no eyes, village children with no toys to play with, living in mud huts, with huge smiles on their faces. Finding every single possible reason to be happy. I have met people whose lives are filled with constant struggle, and yet they still find a way to laugh about it. Words cant even begin to describe how inspired I feel because of india.

christmas lives in vigo

christmas lives in vigo
you would have loved the dilapidated conditions of many of the buildings. You would have loved the facades of the buildings that were standing up with nothing behind them. Windows that people would have looked through, now becoming windows of the hollowness inside. You would have loved the traces and remnants of the buildings that are no more - onto the buildings it was surrounded by. They put a yellow paint on the walls adjacent to the one that was broken down. Probably it’s not just yellow paint but something which has more functionality to it to, than just being a marker. But the markers were so ever present in the city, it is clear they are really trying to rebuild the city, into this idea and imagination of the modern. The city boasts itself as the city where christmas lives. It full of lights, too many and too much of them. Light installations that seem that they are there just because the pressure to maintain the city’s own reputation as the city of christmas lights is too much. And this is something that needs to be done. Otherwise, there might be an identity crisis. There were sculptures and sculptures of Santa’s sleigh, of everything christmas, and many things not. Of a huge giant bear sitting, which was attracting everyone from all age groups to sit on it’s lap for a photograph. And suddenly you would see the police running in the streets with a very alert alarming whistles. And I was like shit what happened. They were clearing the way for the christmas toy train, full of adults, wearing masks, and no sign of enthusiasm. None of that young drunk partying college kids. These were adults, almost like in a public transport system. The cops kept whistling and running in front of the train to clear it’s path, the engine driver would give a couple of bells every now and then, clearly displaying his own ability to honk/bell the streets clear. Or just to remind everyone that christmas lives in vigo.
This was all part of the fiesta, the giant wheel which would light up in various colours and have almost strobe like effects (remember, it’s teh city of lights), the kids roller coaster rides, the merry go around s, the cotton candy stores. you told me that you couldn’t afford cotton candy as a kid, and now here we were, with really sticky sugary fingers, sugar filled mouths, of so much we ate, that all just dissolved into thin air. the paella that was so good insistingly served to me by the airbnb host. the airbnb host who was widowed and lived there with her daughter, renting out every room, nook and corner possible of the flat, to let the money come in. the dog that was so sadly locked into the room, so that ‘the guests’ wouldn’t be disturbed. and the nephew who would sleep in the living room and just not get up, depite our host really screaming her lungs out. all so lively, all so energetic, with so much buzz, kisses on the cheeks, with churrizos and with cheese, with regular bread and with croissants, with a packet of local sweet snack left on the side of the bed. and yet with so much heaviness in the air. of an absence, of these fleeting presence of strange people, of the young daughter who was in her room throughout our stay. of not being sure of what you do with the mask rule when meeting the airbnb guests, and not being sure of what to do with the mask rule when meeting the airbnb hosts.
Somehow it reminded me of the truck stop cities we have in india. transitionary places. of places which would end up not having so much of their own identity. was a port town like vigo also similar like that somehow. the port is visible and clear and forms a nice lovely view from various parts of the city. from the few remanants of a castle or a fort. you can see the port, you can see the town on the other side of the water body, which is almost like a backwater, you can see through offices where people are working on computers and have huge ass windows, and you can look at offices where there was no one right then. The building said buas festas. happy holidays. and then you can see the cranes. the cranes all pointing towards the future that is going to be, of a promise land of development, and all this construction is all towards building the future of vigo we want to see. a future visible in the train station already. of basically being a mall where you have the h&m’s, the mangos, the body stores, and of course you can pick up train tickets. of this neat clean white sanitized building which shouts out vigo in huge letters on side (which is lit like crazy in the evenings of course- it is the city where you come to see the lights after all). But what about the old man who spent two to three hours in the morning trying to fill up sand in between the tiles that had been presumably new laid out just on the porch of the swanky new train station. In this new clean improved city, you donT need to see the train of course, they are hidden in the tunnels, which form the basis of the train stations and the platforms there. but where will the remanants of the sand that is being put in the gaps of tiles go? or the person who did?
where will all these remanants go, of old buildings, of buildings that are no more. you can now access the fort through a series of escalators right from the street/road. and there was a marking for a cathedral. we couldn’t find the cathedral. we found some churches, we found lots of christmas, but somehow not the cathedral. maybe it was in one of the yellow painted walls.

1. Choose the right teak wood centre table to match the overall décor of the living room
When designing an elegant living room, one of the key elements is having the right teak wood centre table. Vaastu Tips For a Happy, Healthy, And Ideal Home
When looking for the ideal home, there are several aspects we consider in order to feel comfortable calling it HOME. A house needs a certain energy to feel at home. Vaastu can be used to achieve this energy. According to Vaastu, that energy affects the individual residing in a house. Hence, it is crucial to understand the connection between good vibes in the home and the art of Vaastu.
But first, let’s understand what Vaastu or Vaastu Shastra is. Vaastu Shastra originated in India during the Vedic era. It emerges to teach the art of living, designing, and building in harmony with nature and stimulating positive energy. Vaastu Shastra can also be regarded as the “science of architecture.”
The Vaastu Shastra in modern times is identical to the one that was practiced in the ancient period. However, the process and approach have been changed to better suit the needs of the modern world. Yet, the central idea of Vaastu-compliant houses, villas for sale in shamirpet which have descended from the Vedic sagas, remains the same.
Vaastu suggests the right colour, format, shape, and directions to infuse your home with an aura of peace, positivity, and prosperity. It is critical to ensure that the construction of your house is done in accordance with Vaastu preferences so that negative energies do not enter the house. Do not treat the storage area in your home like a dumping ground. Sort the items, arrange them properly, and routinely clean the storage space. Get rid of anything else you won’t need in the future as well.
4. Kamdhenu or Buddha Statue
You can keep an idol of Kamdhenu in your home, as it brings prosperity and joy. Buddha statues are another option that will bring luck and serenity into your home.

It is better to avoid artworks that show dismal scenes, such as depictions of a grieving old woman, warfare, or poverty. You can always have a painting of anything, like a sunrise, an ocean, mountains, blossoms, or laughing children. They are considered a good decor option, and they also bring good luck and peaceful energy into the home.
The efficiency with which your new home is built determines a large part of how happy your future life will be in it. Balance Traditional Indian Elements in a Modern Home. Here’s How!
The modern outlook and global influences have a primary role in the transformation of Indian interiors. People have a quest to find new and inspiring interior ideas to update their home interior. When it comes to the Indian homes, even though modern interiors display the dominance of internationally influenced designs, you can spot a traditional Indian touch.
Design Qandy is one of the top interior design firms in Mumbai. Our team of internationally trained designers is capable of working with a variety of styles andIndian elements are also a favourite.
Whether it is famous traditional artefacts and accents or large paintings in Madhubani, Kalamkari, Rajput and other styles add great beauty to the wall. India is seeped in a mix of centuries-old cultures, traditions and a vast history.
Which brings us to Indian Modernism. Simply put, it is an amalgamation of different cultures with a variety of striking architectural designs and modern interiors that will make your house stand out!
What Is Indian Modernism?
Indian modernism can be best defined as the integration of traditional elements and contemporary ideas. The fusion will lead to the creation of the masterpiece going well with the current layout. Indian modernism is the ideal way to keep both old and new together. It gives the privilege to experiment and blend the different ideas to fit best with contemporary scenarios.
The art deco and Bauhaus movements initiated modernism in India in the 20th century. As a result, now we are greatly influenced by western culture and ideas. It is inevitable we can’t bring back the golden era of Mughal and Rajput, which displaced the richness of Indian culture, but we can add some traditional elements in our new world. Indian modernism is a source to keep alive the Indian culture and design along with incorporating western ideas.
Blend a Neutral Colour With Some Bold
When it comes to the modern interior, we often get the image of neural colours like pastel, white, grey and beige. It doesn’t mean you can’t use bold and vibrant colours, but it only requires the art of balancing colour; if you are looking for a sophisticated theme, you don’t have to avoid bold colours and only go with neutral colours. As we all know, India is famous for its rich variety and use of bold colours. You have the choice to use some of its vibrant palettes to match with neutral colours. For instance, if the walls of your living space are neutral, like greys, white or beige, the addition of rich hues of sofas or decoration pieces would pop up the living space. Many people love incorporating a bold colour palette in their home.
Combine Old and New
The modern interior in India has taken a path where traditional elements infuse with contemporary ones that evoke the rich and interesting energy of the house. You can add vintage furniture, accents or things like lamps and chandeliers that vibe with a modern interior.
The furniture like the sofa upholstered in a pattern or printed fabrics or vintage picture frames with old memories can be embellished in neutral coloured rooms that cause their appearance to pop out.
Try Rich Textiles
India is known for its diversity in textiles. Rajasthan is famous for weaving fabrics in a variety of patterns, images, colours and designs. You have lots of options in selecting the fabric that will inevitably induce the Indian element in your modern home. You can try these fabrics in different forms, from bed sheets, curtains, carpet, and throw in sheets to cushion covers, table cloths or upholstering furniture. A variety of layered textiles is a sure way to have a dreamy bedroom to rest in.
Sometimes you only have to select the fabric pattern, and it is adequate to induce the Indian touch to your home. The right placing of printed or pattern fabrics is crucial and should be done with creativity and attentively to reduce the chances of messing up. If done right, it can give your modern home a luxurious Indian touch. For instance, you can place a large patterned rug in the white-walled room so it can pop up the overall appearance of the room.
Go for Wall Art
The idea of large art or painting on the wall has also been incorporated into the modern interior. You can put this to your advantage that instead of the modern painting, you can use the painting depicting the Mughal era or displaying the lifestyle of the king and queen.
The use of Indian-style artwork on the right wall that captures the attention would complement your modern theme. When talking about Indian style artwork, you can take a look at the 20th-century Bengal school paintings that made quite a name in the era of the British Raj.
Whether we talk about the artwork depicting the Islamic, Indian and Persian lifestyle of the Mughal era or showcasing Indian tribal art, it is inevitable that artwork would be a great idea to give your home an Indian touch without overwhelming the modern theme. Moreover, you can utilize the Kashmiri carpet by framing it and hanging it on the wall.
Don’t Avoid Accessories
Accessories are an ideal source to keep memories alive and give the feeling of nostalgia. Other than that, it also proves to be a good way to give your home warm and cozy energy. India is filled with treasures of crafts and accents. They would work best to induce the Indian element.

Decor Ideas For Your Home Inspired By Indian Movies
We can find creative inspiration and decor ideas almost anywhere—even on the sofa—without ever having to leave the house. We are, in fact, discussing movies. But if we don’t know what to observe, we might not always realize it. For all the interior design ideas you could potentially need, we’ve put together a movie and TV-watching endurance race guide. If you enjoy both fun and excitement and design, add these stories to your queue. They cover everything from the coolest teen bedrooms to behind-the-scenes discussions with industry professionals and advice on the color schemes used in the most stunning moments in movie history.
Wake Up Sid
In Wake Up Sid, do you remember home decoration in Aisha’s studio apartment? When the movie came out, many young people were motivated by her cheap yet practical home improvement suggestions. Although we are unsure if such a large studio apartment can be found in Mumbai, we certainly adore the origami, the yellow accent wall, and the fairy lights. If you want to instantly brighten your room, paint one wall of your bedroom a cheerful color, add some pictures, some lighting, and possibly a bookcase.
Sid from Wake up shows you some bizarre and intriguing DIY decor ideas. The movie had a lot of creative ideas, from painting the walls in vivid colors to hanging a swing or a birdcage.
Piku
Piku displayed authentic Bengali living for us with modest, classic decor ideas. Additionally, it conveyed the importance of sticking to our principles. Stick to your customs if you find them comforting. Things like hardwood furniture and chairs with long backs never go out of style. If at all feasible, use vintage movables and comfortable cotton curtains for home decoration.
Finding Fanny
Indian satirical road comedy Finding Fanny, starring Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor, was released in 2014. The actors gave outstanding performances, and every last aspect of the French style home decor was incorporated into the production. Create the impression of a grand French chateau in your home by using patterned wallpaper and drapes. Pay more attention to the little things, such as lamps, sepia-toned artwork, and flower boxes for awesome decor ideas.
Dear Zindagi
Alia Bhatt’s character in the film Dear Zindagi resides in a sizable studio apartment with an open kitchen, a floor-to-ceiling glass wall, and hanging lights. With some downplayed walls and a mishmash of modern and vintage furnishings, it has a raw, earthy air. You can create a similar atmosphere in a studio apartment if you’re a single lady by purchasing furniture, lamps, and decals from your neighborhood furniture store for home decor.
But, we are aware that a home like the one depicted in the film cannot be found in India. But if you spend money on sheer curtains, sizable cushions, and furniture in soft or neutral colours, you may achieve the same effect. To add a playful touch, you may also scatter flower vases around the area. Aim for lights with various intensities as well so you can adjust them to your mood.
Even though we can only imagine renting or owning such a sizable property in any region of the nation, we can undoubtedly draw some decorating ideas from it. The moderate furnishings are complemented by a few colourful ones, as seen in the video. We also adore the open bookshelf made of wood. If you can find some used furniture, a few bright cushions, and a few bit of glassware artifacts, you are good to go to decorate flats in Chintalkunta.
We all like Bollywood and frequently attempt to live a “filmy” lifestyle. Although you require a sizable income to live the film star lifestyle, you may still decorate your home in the Bollywood style even on a tighter budget. The interior design of a home frequently describes the type of resident. Below are some tips you can include to make your house look more Bollywood inspired!
Some tips to follow for home decor
Bollywood style doesn’t always have to be entertaining; it can also be elegant, as Shahrukh Khan highlighted in “Om Shanti Om.” A designer king-sized bed or a sizable work of art on an empty wall, for instance. Metal candle stands or antique artifacts can also give your room a luxurious atmosphere.
Make sure you don’t design anything that will be impossible to carry out when trying to build the Bollywood décor of your dreams. The size of your home should suit your decorating concept. For instance, a large chandelier cannot be placed in a space with low ceilings.
Maintain as much interest as you can in the furniture. Luxury sofa sets from a Karan Johar film should be used if your theme is classy or beautiful. If quirky is your style, choose antique furniture that goes with it.
To make your room uniquely distinct and reflect your love of Bollywood, add posters and decor. Place props that can serve as a table, a holder, or something as basic as a pen rest in empty areas.
To show your enthusiasm for Bollywood, choose bedsheets and cushion covers with prints. These days, printed covers and bedsheets are widely accessible. If your particular taste isn’t available elsewhere, you may always choose customized prints and realize your fantasies.
Your favorite actor or movie might serve as the inspiration for the concept of your home decor. Create movie posters or dialogue-based graffiti to add visual appeal to your walls.
To fully modify your home, consider thematic wall projections as an alternative to wallpaper.
Avoid attempting to construct a design that would be virtually impossible to carry out (for example, installing a giant chandelier that does not fit properly on the ceiling).
Make sure the fabrics and the décor are coordinated and that they mix together.
Theme-appropriate furniture pieces should be added, such as a magnificent chair or a trunk that has been specially painted.
Flats in Chintalkunta are well decorated and offer a clear, traffic-free space that you can customize and adorn just the way you like, matching your tastes and aesthetics. With that being said, you are now free to experiment with your own creative expertise and see what can you bring to the table in terms of home decor!
