Next order of business : My Plans for infrastructure in a utopian society hotels jobs pay raise on citizens paycheck from 15 $ - 17 $ dollars minimum wage pay to 19$ dollars to 20$ dollars an hour to better provide for all costs emergencies uncovered insurance payments due to partial health care coverage and full union membership granted to employees of any company free education grants and school loans payment plans
Pay raise for school teachers in every city at junior high school , high school and elementary school level since they are stewards of our children's future .

Jobs moving back to inner cities through the effort of study and research groups from urban planning courses from their neighboring colleges .
Tax abatement and financial incentives and business incentives and tax breaks .
Joe Biden and vice president Kamala Harris should include this law into all of their plan for cleaning up America I'm glad to see it go beyond New York City and other counties in New York I want to share this honor with author Michelle Alexander who I did my research from her book about mass incarceration of the black and Latino community and the political office and my friends that help put this law in place I reached out to hopefully stop the recidivism to prison and hopefully to help some of my friends and people that go back and forth to jail because they couldn't get a job due to the felonies on their record I recommend a certificate of relief of disabilities to all people returning to society if they haven't given you one go get it from your county's or borough courthouse it works wonders .
Next order of business : Tax cuts to help the everyday person keep more of their check in their pockets cut the tax rates in New York City by 4 percent I see it as New York State taxes % 8.82 to % 4 percent and business tax cuts to create more jobs Proposal For a Wage increase of $ 22 dollars an hour Including : Fire safety directors Security guards Librarians Fed Ex workers UPS workers Ready Willing and able with free vocational grants from access vr programs they should hire vocational rehabilitation counselors and job developers finding permanent housing and permanent job placement after the clients training Stock Clerks and cashier's at major stores like Gristedes , C Town , met foods , Burlington coat factory wage increase for all warehousing and factory workers jack pallet and forklift training for people with no experience and a starting salary at $ 17 - 19 $ dollars an hour and it increase with more time on the job how about the first year at that base salary of $ 17 - 19 $ dollars and on the even of that year the employee gets an raise of $ 2 dollars more on their check and other financial incentives as cash allocation from their check for newly place employee mutual fund packages besides with other benefits that said company is offering this helps to place that company on the stock market and grant their employees preferred stock options from their company that they work for at that current moment and because of the huge huge employee buy in it is like the employers are investing in their employees and their stores and company .
Educational requirements for jobs posted is less than a high school diploma but the job candidate has to be in a vocational program or GED preparation course half or full time hours .
Civil service jobs and exams posted weekly .
Sales professional salary plus commission on sales and stock options for mutual funds packages as bonuses with an wage increase to $ 19 dollars to $ 21 dollars an hour .
Newly added benefits to a job description benefits an employer on jobs posted give to their employees an employer get to hold back cash or take money out of an employees check to put towards a mutual funds stock fund option to help that client make more money as a second job the municipals funds and stock and funds and stock and then you gotta get hedge funds option packaged in to help the employees money make more money for them talk about overtime whew and at the same time that local market and store owner can put his company on the stock market and give out public shares thus in the end making it a good investment a regular place of shopping in a family like environment it is like getting to know your deli clerk , butcher , bakery attendant again only this time you are making money with the people you are spending money with Think about it that in turns build better communities better stores customer relationships safer neighborhoods and the beautifying of economically depressed environments more money for your kids college tuition school supplies newer roads being built leading to and from better neighborhoods and businesses and this is a future that we all as fellow New Yorkers can build together .

Re. Your women being so scared thing. And to be clear I mostly agree with you.
I'm not sure where you're from, but I'm from New York, and I can say for sure that I'd feel more safe in the most dangerous part of the UK than basically anywhere in the US. My Parisian aunt thinks Gare du Nord too dangerous to walk near under any circumstances, but to me it seems like a normal bigger train station level of danger, and the streets around it seem normal. I lived in a university town in the UK for a year, and I never felt in danger there or in London, even alone, even in the middle of the night. I was never alone in Berlin, but I was out at night, and I felt at least as comfortable as I would in New York. So I think, at last in the places I've been and from my experience, America is more dangerous and much scarier. I have never been street harassed in the UK, and I have been harassed and followed in New York plenty, and had several people attempt to attack me. Men in the US will also often harass you from a car, which is an explicit threat. It's also important to remember that parking lots are bad places to be and most of the US has to drive, and therefore park.
That said, I know some women who won't ride the subway at night, or at all, and that seems very paranoid to me. If you're riding at a remotely normal time and are paying any attention to your surroundings, you're almost certainly going to be fine. I also know girls who, even once they're in a car, of course, will send friends their location just in case. This seems extremely paranoid to me. Maybe check you're going the right way like one time. I do still think some of the things people do can be reasonable caution - yeah, didn't go hiking on a first date - but the perspective people are throwing at you strikes me as distinctly privileged. No one who's ever had a job can think that way. I've worked with a few women who took cars home after every shift, or their dad or their boyfriend picked them up in a car, and at that point, you have a job as a hobby, because unless he works nearby, you just spent your minimum wage on gas. If you take a cab home in New York, from Manhattan to any other borough, that's most of your pay. So to me, this level of paranoia generally reads that you've never had to be alone anywhere so you don't understand what it means, and you've never had to do shit with, and if you did do it, the money wasn't important.
Yeah a lot of time I get mad at this online because it just seems overly paranoid to me, and then a woman comes in with a personal experience or anecdotes, and it hits me that maybe the US *is* actually that bad? I live in Hungary, and I really like walking alone in the city at night, or going for long walks in the forest alone, and I've never really felt unsafe doing that, but - and this is crucial - neither have most of the women I talk to. Or at least, not to this degree. So, yeah, the US is possibly worse and more unsafe? I can believe that, it's just hard to conceptualize I guess, since the US likes to portray itself as tbe baseline for a "civilized" country, and I live in *Eastern Europe*. So there's preconceptions here, lol.
But yes, a lot of these, even when corrected for this, are just paranoid, there's no other way to see it. Like, no matter where you live, you truly do NOT need to share your location every time you leave home. And there's also the matter of being disconnected from the people and community around you, like being scared to help your neighbor or someone on your street. We live in a society, you kind of have to take an active part of it.
A lot of it is just a lot of energy spent on being scared every waking moment of your life. Like, okay, in the reddit thread I saw this in, there was a woman saying that she ALWAYS puts her ID in her front pocket when she goes outside so they can easily IDENTIFY THE BODY IF SHE DIES. Like what material good does worrying about this bring to your life? It's not even a self-defense technique, doing this will not help you with staying alive!! All it does is make you think about "oh no, I could get murdered" every time you leave the house. This is NOT a healthy mindset!
It's like a strange and widespread kind of anxiety, and the worst part is, it has you convinced it's necessary, and you can't get rid of it unless you make an active effort to do things despite being scared. First you have to convince yourself that you *won't* get murdered by your date if you don't share your location, and that's the hardest part. And yeah lol, having to do things alone helps you with this tremendously, because you realize that you've just taken the subway at night alone and survived. But if you're never forced to do things alone, you get stuck in this weird fear spiral, and whenever you see a stranger, you end up thinking about how they could murder you.

Objection!
Rafael Barba x fem!Carisi!reader
1k word count
Summary All you wanted was to be a lawyer like your big brother Sonny. So what happens when you get a job working under the famous ADA Rafael Barba
slow-burn, colleague to friends to lovers
Next Chapter
The day had finally come. I had successfully graduated Harvard Law. My Mum, Dad, brother Sonny and sisters Bella, Teresa and Gina had made the trip out of Staten Island to witness the graduation. The youngest of the Carisi clan, I choose to follow Sonny into the criminal prosecution career track. Sonny had recently transferred to the Elite Manhattan Special Victims Unit and was also studying at Fordham Law ‘to make myself a better detective’ he had said. Sonny and I, despite our 11-year age gap, were completely inseparable. He had been the one who got the rest of our family together to be here today. Sonny is the whole reason I was graduating today. He had encouraged me even after Mum and Dad had voiced their disappointment at my choice.
I had barely made it off the stage when Sonny had scooped me up in his arms and began spinning us around. He had the worlds biggest smile on his face and repeated over and over again how proud he was of me. Our parents and sisters soon joined us.
“I’m going to cook a big feast tonight just for you” Mom smiled.
“You always cook a big feast, that’s every meal for you” Dad scoffed.
“Oh shush you cranky old man” Mum swatted at him with open hands.
We all laughed at the pair and walked off to the cars. We had a long drive ahead of us back to Staten Island. After dinner I would then have to drive back into Manhattan with Sonny. I had come here with Sonny yesterday from his apartment in Manhattan and had no choice but to go back there with him tonight. Now I had graduated I had no clue what I was suppose to do. I had been applying for positions in almost every law firm in New York with no luck. I’d even applied for the DA’s office with no success. I knew Sonny would let me live with him for however long it took for me to find my feet. He had insisted on it in fact when I’d moved back to New York last month. This had been Mum and Dads complaint. I would waste my time on a piece of paper that would lead me nowhere. I’d even put in an extra two years on a masters degree just to increase my chances.
“Hay kiddo is everything okay?” Sonny spoke up “You’ve been silent for the last 45 minutes and you look worried”
“Maybe Mum and Dad were right” Was all I could get out.
“About what? Don’t tell me your doubting yourself now” Sonny smiled over at me.
“I spent the whole month applying for positions with no luck, all I’ve managed is a minimum wage bodega job. I can’t rely on you forever Sonny, you have your own life, the woman at work you said you fancy, while I just wasted six years to get a piece of paper that’s turning out to be useless. I wanted to be up there with the greats like Alexander Cabot and Rafael Barba” I sighed picking at my nails.
“Y/N Carisi always worrying” Sonny chuckled “Give it time you’ll get something soon; you don’t need to rush”
“I’m not trying to rush I just don’t like not knowing” I threw my hands up.
But wait I did. For 9 months I applied for any law jobs that came up. I worked my ass off at the bodega, saving every penny I could to get out of Sonny’s flat. Then one day it happened. I had been busy cooking dinner, a simple chicken alfredo, when Sonny basically smashed his way through the door. I hadn’t expected him home until much later. I knew they were having trouble catching the Central Park Strangler as the papers had dubbed him. A horrid man who would stalk lone women in central park, strangle and rape them. Sonny had said he was escalating an attack every night, he hadn’t killed anyone yet but Sonny was sure he would soon. He had made me promise not to leave the flat alone at night until they got the guy. He had left DNA at every scene so as soon as they got him he was going away for life. No chance of a plea bargain, no way to weasel out of it. Sonny had a huge smile on his face as he walked into the kitchen.
“I’m guessing by the smile on your face you caught your guy? That or you finally grew a pair and asked Amanda out and she said yes” I chuckled.
“Yes, well no, but yes” Sonny stumbled over his words while he hung his coat up and took his shoes off.
“Well which is it?” I laughed.
“We caught the guy, Barba had him shipped to rikers an hour ago” Sonny put his brief case on the bench and dug through it producing a manila envelope. “I also got this for you” he handed the envelope to me.
I wiped my hands off on my apron and took the envelope. I turned it over in my hands taking note of the District Attorneys office logo in the corner. I disregarded it as just being an envelope Sonny had handy. I turned the envelope over once more and unwound the string keeping it closed. Inside was a stack of paperwork maybe 30 pages thick. Written on top of the first sheet in bold letters were the words OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT. I looked up shocked at Sonny before looking back at the papers. We are pleased to offer you a position as an assistant to ADA Rafael Barba at the New York District Attorney Office.
“Oh Sonny this is amazing thank you” I pulled him into a hug.
“It was nothing I just called in a favour when I heard Barba needed some extra help” Sonny chuckled “All you need to do is fill in the forms and drop them off to Barba tomorrow. He says he’ll in his office from 3 onward”.
“I’ll fill them in first thing but for now lets eat!”.
“Oh you mean the food that’s burning on the stove?” Sonny chuckled.
“Shit!” I spun back to the stove but it was pointless the chicken had already started turning black and the pasta was almost boiled dry.
“I’ll order out and you can trying to salvage my pot and pan” Sonny laughed walking off phone in hand.

closed starter for @moonbaits !
characters: peter parker x park minhee plot: she meets peter in esu's lab !
the scene pans over the city of manhattan , stratus clouds overlapping the horizon . sprinkles of rain began half an hour ago , but the native townspeople barely noticed . it was the tourists who bundled up in hoodies and clutched oversized umbrellas .
every store had at least one customer ; it was friday , after all , the first of the month . most people lived paycheck to paycheck , and even then , the aid they received barely filled their fridges . this state relied on support more than others . fast-food restaurants often cost more than two hours of work on a minimum wage salary , and sometimes , even those with the tightest budgets couldn't find time in their busy schedules to cook a proper meal . peter parker was one of them .
" carbon tetrachloride . . . " whispering , those pale digits of his graze the various pipettes filled with different chemicals . he searched for the ingredients for spider-man's web fluid formula . " seriously ? we're out ? " rubbing his eyes in frustration .
he was in empire state university's research lab , where he had been attending school for almost two years now , having received a scholarship after earning the highest scholastic average in midtown high school's history . between managing school , his photography job at the daily bugle , and crime-fighting as spider-man , he often felt overwhelmed .
and now , on top of all that , he couldn't make his web fluid .
" ugh . " he dramatically laid his forehead on the workbench . " hey , guy in the sky , if you're out there , cut me some slack , will you ? " he looked up at the ceiling , his gaze naturally drifting to the nearby new york skyline . the lab was on one of the higher floors , and it was late at night . the city looked livelier than ever . his eyes widened as they landed on the baxter building , home of the infamous fantastic four .
" surely reed richards has some spare chemicals he won't miss . . . right ? " peter considered the idea , and without a second thought , turned from the window , about to leave , but paused when he noticed a woman entering the room . what was she doing here this late ? she could be a student . “ uh , hey . professor's out for the night . looking for something ? ”
#threads ⁝ peter parker ♡#hope this is good!#i base him off the comics + tasm & ps4 & rivals

there may be nothing that tickles me more than a rom com (or any movie, but usually a rom com) set in new york that has absolutely no sense of geography. the characters will walk from times square to the brooklyn bridge in minutes. sure why not. then, every time they leave their office they seem to be in a different neighborhood. they’ll take an uber when they should take the subway and the subway when they should take an uber. they make minimum wage and and then return to their apartment that appears to be in midtown and has a perfect view of the empire state building. later they mention how they live in brooklyn. in fact, nothing exists beyond brooklyn and manhattan. the way it can manage to be nearly 100% wrong and perfect is a rare feat

What’s your point? Minimum was a $1.45 in 1969. 2024 it’s $15 in most places now. $1.45x10 $14.50/hr. to pay for $17,000x10? Nearly $15/hr to pay for $170,000 home. Then you have to subtract your monthly bills, food, and personal expenses from that. You shouldn’t be making minimum wage your entire life to pay for a house anyway. This is a pretty normal ratio anywhere that’s NOT in a major city like NYC or LA. Two towns in America are not the cost of living in every single place on Earth…log off of Twitter, move out of Manhattan, and live in Alabama or perhaps FLINT, MICHIGAN. There were also 3.6 billion people on the planet. Half as many people to house and feed using natural renewable global resources at half the speed. The only thing you should be going insane over is how much you didn’t pay attention in math class.

As it turns out, the employees at Strand Books are getting paid the NYC minimum wage of about $16/hr.
You know - poverty wages. In Manhattan.
Here’s the full article published 12/8/24:
Dozens of employees at one of Manhattan’s busiest and most iconic bookstores walked off the job on Saturday after contract negotiations failed to produce an agreement between their union and management.
Workers began picketing outside Strand Bookstore around 10 a.m. in what’s believed to be the first employee strike in nearly three decades at the popular bookshop.
UAW Local 2179, which represents the bookstore workers, says they are demanding a fair contract and a living wage. Many of the workers out on the picket line said that even though the holiday season is one of the store’s busiest times, many of its employees are struggling to live in New York on what they make.
“We’re just asking for a little bit more, that 50 cents more a year,” said Joel Gross, who works at the store. “If we can get that we can go back to work.’
In the meantime, striking workers are also calling on customers to honor the picket line and abstain from buying from the store.
Bookstore executives released a statement saying in part, “We respect and value our staff, and we have made sizable economic offers during this contract negotiation accordingly. The union has not been willing to accept those increases so far.”
Gothamist reports the union is calling on a $2 increase to employee base pay, which currently starts at $16 an hour, the minimum wage for New York City. The union also wants that rate to increase by $1.50 in the second and third years, but management is reportedly countering at 50 cents for each.
“Everybody wants to go back to work. We love sharing books with people, we love serving the readers of the city,” Gross added.

I really don't understand why people argue with me over things that really aren't debatable.
Long ago, I was scoffing at how unrealistically spacious a leading character's apartment in New York City was depicted in whatever movie, and my friend started questioning whether spacious apartments in New York were so unreasonably priced that a quirky college student earning minimum wage couldn't afford one.
Why are we arguing about this? It is a WELL known narrative trope that housing in high density extremely popular cities is comically bad, but it's also not far from reality.
Only one of us had recently visited someone living in downtown Manhattan and witnessed Big City Living Conditions For Quirky Artist Types directly.
You want to argue for the sake of arguing? Fuck off.

"The restructuring of labor and training, and the establishment of job placement programs at Sing Sing, were a critical aspect of the new penological strategy to socialize convicts as manly worker–citizens in an industrialized economy. A second, related, field of action was that of personal financial responsibility. At Sing Sing, the new penologists set about disciplining prisoners as consumers and small investors capable of providing for their immediate needs while planning for the future: In other words, prisoners had to be taught not only how to make a wage, but how to save and spend it. As the authorities understood it, the convict was a citizen-in-training, and the best way to train a citizen was “to teach [him] the basic principles of monetary systems on larger scales... and teach economy.” This principle, which Osborne had first encountered while on the board of the George Junior Republic for children, now became a critical part of the experiment at Sing Sing.
Here, Osborne and his supporters took the idea of “modeling the prison on society” to an entirely new level: They set about simulating what they imagined to be the ideal conditions and relations of civil society. Beginning in 1915, every prisoner at Sing Sing was paid a wage in the specie of token aluminum coin and paper notes bearing the imprint Mutual Welfare League (“MWL”). Each convict was to be assured a minimum weekly wage of $6 but, in the spirit of Taylorist conceptions of motivation and incentive, additional income would be accrued by extra output. The prisoner was then to use his earnings to pay for what Osborne called the “cost of living” at the prison. Over the next year, Sing Sing prisoners proceeded to pay for breakfast (10¢), dinner (25¢), and the barber, laundry, bath, hospital care, and clothing. Convicts also paid weekly cell rental, or, as Osborne described it, room rental, which ranged from $1 to $1.60 per week. In seeking to simulate the civilian economy as nearly as possible, the rent for cells on the upper tiers, known as walk-ups, was lower than for those on the lower tiers, just as in Manhattan’s tenements. As some convicts made and saved more of their token wages, they could rent a more expensive room; those whose productivity fell off, or who spent their tokens unwisely, faced the possibility of having to give up better cells for worse ones.
It was estimated that the average cost of living was $4.65 per week, which left the convict with a surplus of at least $1.35. Consequently, to complete the simulation of a civil economy in which prisoners would be disciplined as consumers and producers, Osborne opened Sing Sing’s own “Self Government Bank and Insurance Company.” Nine prisoners were appointed directors, all of whom had to be stock holders in the bank (their capital consisted of league tender), and convict customers were provided with deposit notebooks, similar to those used by civilians. Prisoners could deposit and withdraw their “money” from the bank, and they could also purchase health and accident insurance, which would cover the costs of any unforeseen medical expenses. As one of the convict Treasury officials put it, business was “conducted on the same basis as any bank on the outside, having the appearance of a real bank with all the small signs and advertisements found in any well conducted banking establishment.” Mirroring the new penological rhetoric back on its authors, the convict treasurer continued:
To note the eager expression upon the men’s faces as they appear before the receiving teller’s window with their small deposit books, would convince you that they are being taught responsibility which the actual handling and earning of money produce in a man, and that responsibility and thrift they are forming in here, and absolutely essential to every man will, we presume, continue upon a man’s release.
Notably, Osborne made no formal provision for taxation; however, the prisoners set up an approximation of a taxation system, by which they required every league member to donate one month’s wages to the league every year, for the purpose of setting up a memorial fund to pay for the funeral of any deceased convict whose family could not or would not pay for a civilian funeral and burial.
Whether or not the Sing Sing prisoners in fact became well-disciplined consumers and producers, as the new penologists and convict stock holders purported, they made great use of the Self Government Bank. By May 1916, $31,424.41 league “dollars” were on deposit, and between two-thirds and three-quarters of the prisoners had accounts at the bank, most of which contained between ten and fifty league “dollars.” Previously, when they had been paid by the state, prisoners had earned 1.5¢ (U.S. legal tender) per day, and this money had been payable upon release from prison. To make the incentive as strong as possible, Osborne and the league leadership discussed ways of facilitating a similar redemption system for the token wages. It was not clear how this would be facilitated, until October 1916, when the National Committee on Prisons and Prison Labor (NCPPL) set about raising money for this purpose. With the help of the Outside Branch of the League, which donated $1,000 to the fund, the NCPPL raised over $10,000 in legal tender."

minimum wage is like 15k, 15/hour is like 31k, 30/hour is like 62k
the AVERAGE salary in the us is like 63k
65k is like 5,400 monthly.
the average cost of living for a SINGLE person is 44k. so a single person making 65k would probably be pretty well off i’m guessing?
however. for a family of four i’m getting numbers from 80k-100k yearly (guess you don’t want to be a single parent of multiple children then)
of course where you live will effect cost of living, like living in some place in ohio is way less expensive than say, manhattan in nyc. like i think the ohio cost of living is probably like 24k yearly which 65k is a lot
anyway, 65k is probably comfortable for single people, in most areas. certainly not wealthy. or wealthy only by comparison to people who are struggling.
in my opinion once you get to a certain point with wages, where you’re making more than the bare minimum, it highly depends on how you spend the money and take care of expenses. i know people who make 30/hr during the school year, not even full time, and like 11/hr in the summer and they still go on trips and take good care of themself. they do NOT however, pay for rent which is a big factor.

Please tell us what New York is like, is it anything like the movies tell us? And the million dollar question is do the rats run the city? Lmao
Partially like the movies. If you're thinking of sex in the city and gossip girl, then that's the richer side. The upper east side, Manhattan in general and Astoria Queens, Bushwick Brooklyn, etc are like another world of people who are nepo babies, transplants that are rich or trust fund babies. but certain places in those areas are a vibe and have very artistic and unique people. Everything is Borough based nowadays.
People shit talk the Bronx, a lot due to gun violence, scamming, etc. But , Brooklyn is the same.
Rats don't run the city as much as people may think. The city is just dirty in general. More like the aggressive homeless men who pissy and shit in public places are the problem. I find that the city is over hyped, overfilled, and the worst it's ever been now. You're basically working for rent and utilities if you make minimum wage or 40% above that amount. The beggers , addicts, and greedy landlords are what's ruined the city amongst other things.
I say now; it's a good place to visit but not to live.

Send your market and competitive analysts out to meet with groups of customers and salespeople regularly to find out what is happening on the ground . Have monthly or quarterly meetings with your analysts that provide a forum for a discussion of this information and the overall big picture.
Our conversation is different we have nothing in common this is what I spend my day doing and not watching the other person and strategizing and scheming to sabotage with me working with police and the media
Market and competitive analysis
Hire a Market analysis team for information on markets and competitive analysts.
One speciality chemical company was able to do this without huge resources . It's CEO built an intelligence gathering system that extended throughout the company . He had employees group themselves into seven person cross functional teams . These teams were then assigned to scan ten newspaper 📰🗞️ or magazines a month ; these periodicals were to be the ones that the group would not normally look at . This approach got the group finding out about things that were happening outside their industry and their functional speciality . By finding and circulating this information and insights among the seven team members , and then meeting quarterly to discuss their findings , these teams were able to inform themselves of important trends . This process was assisted by having these groups review the articles with three thoughts in mind :
1 . What is the future event that will have the greatest impact on our business ?
2 . What will happen when that event occurs ?
3 . What can we do now to prepare for that event ?
These key events were then sent to top management so that executives could make strategic plans with a much better grasp of the environment. It also made every employee his or her own futurist , expanding their views beyond their original job scope .
Information technology department , Utilizing information technology :
Information technology is essential for gaining real time control and understanding of your competition , your company , and your customers , since it can be used to gather large amounts of information and assist in analyzing it . The speed and pervasiveness of computer technology are good for competitive advantage .
Provide first class service
Provide great returns to shareholders
Deliver consistent dividends yearly
Develop a reputation for a great service built on recruitment and training of excellent employees and a maniacal focus on customer satisfaction , also enabled those same employees with data that serve customers better .
Sir Gordon knew he could not let his competition know where and how he intended to give battle .
Lay on many deceptive operations . Be seen in the West and March out of the east ; lure him in the north and strike in the south . Drive him crazy and bewilder him so that he disperses his forces in confusion .
There are many ways to deceive the competition .
Therefore , when capable , feign incapacity ; when active , inactivity
When near , make it appear that you are far away ; when far away , that you are near
Offer the enemy a bait to lure him ; feign disorder and strike him
I'll do more what worked today and less of what didn't . It was very wise on his part not to reveal his strategy to win .
Business executives need to take the same approach . For instance , if you are planning to come out with a new product whose capabilities will surprise your competitors and you are asked by the press of these are your plans , do not feel constrained to disclose everything. That is proprietary information .
When asked about the strengths of your company , do not list them all or tell everyone how you do things . Why give away the secret to your competitive advantage ? Instead , be opaque about the workings of your firm and hide the secrets of your success .
Only approved messages go out keep your business and strategies to yourself . I don't need nobody controlling me or autosuggestion .
Summary :
To conquer , you must combine foreknowledge and deception . Learn everything you can about your competition - not just the facts about your competitor but also it's capabilities , culture , and mindset .
Learn the details of the workings of your own firm . Know it's products , it's processes , and it's people . Understand it's strengths and weaknesses . Determine what it is capable of doing and , just as important , what it is incapable of doing . Know the business terrain on which you will meet your competition . Determine which markets are fertile and which are fallow , which can support your company in its March toward victory 🙌 and which are wastelands that should not be entered ( the hood ) .
Can't work there or live there ever again
Build an intelligence infrastructure to provide this knowledge .
Lastly , practice deception where prudent mask your intentions from your competitor . Keep their executives in the dark and ignorant about your movements. Do not let them know the time and the place of attack .
I Said no to any person Asian , white , Spanish and black people being in my apartment putting me under surveillance stop attaching yourself to me and no I have nothing to do with gang members in the streets the hood I said no and black Muslims and 5 Percenters no thank you get off of me and I don't even hear your issues no more I was the best in that world we not even competition I win that I don't watch TV the news or your movies no more they need to sell their news channels or movies so they try to start a war with me and bloods the gang no we don't have anything in common and African Americans moved on from bullying me watching me and working with police against me and telling me what I can and can't do with my own life no thank you no disrespect to them but them and racist white people the racist ones can both come off of me Asians too as well I said no to trying to be in my apartment or my library trying to hate on me no thanks you not stealing anything of mines and give it to anybody the whole world know it is mines so you will feel stupid trying to steal my life from me I love music not people talking to me 24 / 7 I'm my ears and my soul and spirit please get off of me and the courtrooms get off of me no thank you and people that work with them in them courtrooms the music industry and Hollywood no thanks you can get off of me and no disrespect to you but no thanks get out of my room and yes the media gets off of me and stop talking to me .

Live from New York
Standing in line to board your flight, you basked in the feeling of possibility. From here on out, anything could happen. After years of working minimum wage at Dairy Queen, you had finally saved enough money to move to New York City. You loved your small town in Iowa, but there was something magical about the Big Apple. There, you could start over and be somebody new. After high school, you wanted to go to college. Some prestigious university would've been your dream, like Harvard, Yale, or Fordham. You had the grades, but you couldn't afford to pay tuition. So you stayed. Luckily, the DQ was hiring, and you got decent pay. By no means were you living large, but you got by. Now, with enough money saved up, you bought a one-way ticket from Des Moines to JFK. You had reached out to a friend living in the city, and they agreed to let you stay with them for a little bit until you found a job and your own place. Armed with just your backpack filled with a couple hundred bucks, some clothes, and a dream, you boarded the flight.
Once you landed in Queens, you desperately navigated the terminal, trying to find your way to the E train into Manhattan. Finding the station, you waited patiently for the subway to arrive. Turning your backpack onto your stomach, you pulled it tightly into your torso. Everything you owned was in that bag, you couldn't bear to lose it. The roar of the approaching train filled your ears, and it skidded to a stop in front of you. The doors opened, and you found the car absolutely packed. You had never seen so many people in one place all at once. Forcing your way into the car, and finding a place to stand near the opposite door, you kept a close eye on the screen, waiting until the 5th Avenue and 53rd Street stop appeared. Then, as the subway stopped and the doors opened, you clutched your backpack and stepped onto the platform.
Exiting the station, you were engulfed by the sounds and sights of Midtown. Your friend lived in a small one-bedroom near 50th and 6th, right in the center of everything. Walking around, you found yourself enamored with the tall buildings and the busy people walking extremely fast. The route you were taking to your friend's apartment took you right past Rockefeller Plaza. Being the tourist you were, as soon as you passed the sign for NBC studios, you decided to pull your phone out of your backpack. Reaching in and then throwing your backpack over your shoulder, you looked up at the words. Growing up, you had seen this marquis on television, and now it was really here. Lifting up your camera, you snapped a photo.
Just as the shutter clicked, a man ran up from behind you and snatched your bag. "Hey!" you screamed. Without stopping, they continued to sprint and turned the corner before you even thought to run after them. Shit. Now what? Looking at the doors of the studio, you figured that they must have security cameras. They could help you. I mean, after all, everything you owned was in that bag. Stepping through the glass doors, you were astounded by the vast ceilings and smooth architecture. You were definitely in the big city.
Approaching the desk, before you could even open your mouth, the attendant looked up at you and gasped. "Sir, you're late, we need to get you upstairs now!" Before you even had the chance to respond, you were whisked away, being led towards an elevator. Shoving you into an elevator, the attendant mashed the button that said "8H." Looking dumbfounded, you opened your mouth to speak, but just as you did the doors shut and you began to ascend into the building.
This was weird, but hey, you had nothing else to lose. It's not like you were breaking in, you were put here. Once you got off the elevator, you would explain exactly what happened, and they would help you find security to figure out how to get your backpack back. As the elevator doors opened and you opened your mouth to speak, two female stylists rushed in and began ushering you through the hallways. The taller one began chastising you for running late as usual, without letting you get a word in. Giving up, you let them guide you into a dressing room. There, you were shoved into a seat. Finally, with the hustle and bustle finished, you finally had a chance to speak. "What's happening?" You managed to finally ask. The stylists looked at each other amused. Without saying a word, they reached towards your body and ripped off your clothes, leaving you nude apart from your underwear.
"Hey! What was that for?" You screamed at the pair. The shorter one explained. "We don't have time to take them off, Sir. Now hold still." The tall one pulled a white jar out of her bag, and the two began applying some sort of cream all over your chest. As the cream made contact with your skin, it began to heat up. As it did, firm muscles began pushing their way from your torso. Thick pecs formed a shelf and dark hair spread its way across them. The stylists massaged the cream into your arms, which flexed with new strength and were covered in that same hair. Your hands cracked as they grew large and manly. You were left with a thick beefy upper body.

The stylists massaged the cream into your feet, which grew and expanded, dark hairs emerging from the tops. After applying the cream to your calves, they stretched and ballooned as well. Your thighs were next, the short one was intensely working her hands around your thighs and shoved her hands under where you were seated. The cream made your legs thick and hairy, and your ass lifted you upwards on the chair. The short one continued to massage your thighs as the tall one applied the cream to your face. Your teeth whitened and your jawline sharpened. Your eyes lightened to a piercing blue. The tall one massaged your scalp, as your hair thickened and became immaculately styled, your head felt fuzzy. You remembered attending Harvard? No, you could never afford that. You were from rural Iowa. The shorter stylist lifted her hands from your thighs and pulled down your underwear, revealing your cock. Reapplying more cream to her palms, she began to massage your cock. Your head felt even fuzzier as the pleasure built up. You weren't from Iowa, you were from Staten Island. Your dick grew longer with each tug. You were married, and your wife loved your amazing body. The pleasure built up even more. Shit, everyone loved your amazing body. With one final tug, your thick cock shot out ropes of cum, and with it, every memory you had of your previous life. You lived in New York now.
The shorter stylist pulled out a towel and began to wipe your thick and muscled body clean, as the taller one grabbed your tailored suit off of the hanger. Standing up, you lifted your thick legs as the stylists pulled your pants on. You lifted your thick arms outward, exposing your forested armpits, as your dress shirt was brought onto your body. The two stylists buttoned you up. Lifting your arms again, you felt the fancy jacket pulled over you. Sitting down again, you were handed your tie. As you tied, the shorter stylist lifted your large feet into dress socks and placed them in your shoes. Once you finished tying your tie, you stood up, and without acknowledging the two women, you turned towards the door and began walking through the halls. You knew exactly where you were headed. As you reached the backstage area, a man placed your mic on your jacket. Finding your seat, you heard the intro music play. This was your job. The audience was applauding for you. You read your cue card.

Day 15 of Christmas: Attend a tree lighting!
The war of the Winchesters silently raged on from last night. Although during breakfast you’d asked to put the feud aside for tonight since you’d be going out. Sam thankfully agreed and Dean reluctantly did too. You were all in the impala driving for a while. You were still in deep taking your nap, as was Sam. You were driving to New York. Usually, it would take about a day, but at the speed, you were going, the back roads, and all of you switching off to drive, you’d be there by nightfall. Which was perfect. Taking minimal bathroom breaks was a good choice too. And although the route forced you to take the normal highways, you were making excellent time. You’d be driving for the last time of the day, with 3 more hours to go, you still had daylight left and you encouraged the boys to get some rest after you switched. They asked if you’d be okay. You told them you’d already used the bathroom and had a long playlist ready to go. You were just gonna enjoy the ride.
When you pulled off, you saw the boys settle in and close their eyes. Your music made soft background noise and you softly nodded your head to the beat. Following your navigation directions, you thought about how exciting it was to finally return to New York. You’d lived there for about 5 years. You’d ultimately saved enough money from your job to move there and not be completely broke when you got there. You lived in comfort for a few months so you could find a job you liked. Living in Lower Manhattan, you had to find a job that would comfortably fit your desired lifestyle. And you did, you found a small mom-and-pop type shop in Brooklyn that was paying a considerable amount over minimum wage. You immediately took the job and every morning for 5 years, you’d take the 30 minutes subway ride to Brooklyn from lower manhattan. And the days you had off you spent exploring the city.
Your favorite place is the small flower garden in a remote part of Central Park. You’d bring your laptop and books with you and nestled into your little spot, saying hi to the little old lady who was always there when you got there and she’d leave after you settled in/. You always thought she was watching your spot for you. You had so many…. interesting stories in your time living in the city. It was crazy and stressful at times, but every night you’d fall asleep to the comforting sound of the city. Cars honking and the endless humming of all the LED lights from Time Square.
It was nice to fall asleep to that every night. Which is why it was such a shock for you to move to Kansas with the boys. No cars honking, no bright lights covering your walls while you slept. I mean you knew it’d be different but not… that different. Now you sleep with your tv on just for some noise. Even going so far as to watch videos of people walking through your favorite city. It’s never filled the void but it did help you feel more at peace. Now you were going back, about two years ago you bought our small apartment so that you could always come back home whenever you wanted, and not having to worry about paying rent every month for a place you barely lived in anymore was definitely a weight off your back.
You knew that the city would be a big shock for the boys, so you’d prepared them while on the drive you’d started early that morning. Told them everything they should and shouldn’t do. The tips you’d picked up living there. Everything. You knew the boys would never be able to remember everything you said, but you reminded them that you were with them. You weren’t just gonna “poof into the ether.”. Having your own apartment in the city also saved you guys the money on an expensive ass hotel room. Everything in that city required you to give up your firstborn child, but living there so long, you know how to budget around the city. The sun was just starting to lower over the horizon when you’d made it into the state, with over one more hour to get into the city. When you saw the enormous fluorescent lights and the relatively slow traffic, you relaxed and breathed in the smell of home. Which was mostly smog and urine but still. You were home. You’d waken up the boys by turning up the radio to an excruciating level. They both shot up and gave you some serious bitch face when you laughed at their faces. You told them you’d be about 30 minutes away from your destination, and they once again relaxed in their seats. You’d been answering questions for them for about 25 minutes and almost to your surprise. It was only 5:45pm and the sun was just about to disappear behind the sky. You rushed quickly and finally got to that big, beautiful tree.
Sam was the first out of the car, followed quickly by you and Dean. All of you crossed the street as they pointed to the tree with child-like excitement. It was 5:55. Just five more minutes and the time passed as the boys talked about the huge ornaments. You started counting down from 10. The boys waited for the longest ten seconds of their lives. Other people buzz around you waiting for those lights to glow. As soon as you reached one, The lights on the trees lit up the streets and the Winchester's eyes. They chattered excitedly and Dean scooped you up in a bear hug. Twirling you around a bit and setting you back on your feet again, you giggled as Sam did the same. They couldn’t believe their eyes. And you’d known they would be able to sleep at your apartment for the rest of the night. No no, you’d be walking all over Time Square and anywhere else you could think to take them.
You couldn’t believe the country boys took so well to the big city. But these were the Winchesters you were talking about.
They could face anything.
