How about Mr and Mrs Mellark? Do you have any detailed headcanon about their married life or life in general?

My detailed headcanons about them come directly from my unwritten Second Quarter Quell Generation fic. And they’re kind of young — late teens to late 20s — in it so my headcanons aren’t pertaining to like their parenting and their marriage in relation to the three Mellark boys’ upbringing. I feel like I said all my headies about that in my previous post about Peeta’s childhood.

But anyways my headcanons for them when they’re young is Peeta’s mother, Gemma, is about 3 years younger than his father, Haidon. He’s dating Katniss’ mother (canon) who I named Lily-Rose and essentially, he’s not the most expressive guy 😭. Like he’s a little slower on the uptake and he doesn’t quite realize he’s drawn to Gemma, but Lily does (but it doesn’t matter all that much to her because she’s drawn to Katniss’ future father. And unlike Haidon, she knows it too). Anyways in my pre-canon universe Gemma is in love with him for a while before he catches up. But even before that he’s kind to her, which very few people are. And he wants to protect her. He’s got a real soft spot for her. He doesn’t know that she’ll turn out to be volatile and violent. And then he falls in love with her. And in my headcanon he’s actually really in love with her, she’s not just his consolation prize when Lily leaves him for Hunter (Daddy Deen).

I love Panem Nightlocks universe.. Can't wait till you post The Tutor. Finnick as someone who has cancer? I would've not thought of that before The Bet. I hope in this story there are many interaction between Peeta and Finnick.. I miss our boys so much :) I hope there won't be another Google Docs error in your end during finishing this story..
