May i ask for Hokusai, Allen, Kanata and Kei with a reader who pulls them into a kiss when noticing someone tried to flirt with their boyfriend(s)?

Allen Sugasano:

Allen isn’t paying any attention to them, on some tangent about hip hop as they had clearly complimented BAE in some way. It’s always how they got him, hooking him into conversation and attempting to appeal to him through his clear passions. Unfortunately, even you had to have more than one conversation with him to make him even realize you were flirting, and you had worked hard to earn that mans love, meaning you had no intention of sharing him. Allen lets out a surprised noise, his eyebrows knitted together as he wondered why you had interrupted his latest lecture.

Hokusai Masaki:

Hokusai, even if he even registered he was being flirted with, would politely ignore the person flirting with him. If they’re pushy or disrespectful he’s never had a problem with brutal honesty as he was quite serious about your relationship, but he didn’t go on the offensive unless necessary. He’s surprised that you felt the need to make a statement with your actions, not rejecting your kiss but worried you might have misread his actions as condoning the flirtatious actions of the other party. He mumbles reassurances and asks if he’s upset you, only seeming content when you tell him the full truth of your jealousy.

Kanata Yatonokami:

If anyone was flirting with Kanata, he’d have to be physically trapped in that conversation to stay at all. He’s not one to enjoy interacting with people who just shower him in praise, feeling it disingenuous as he doesn’t care about their opinions regardless. But flirting, having romantic intentions with him? He’s thankful that you’re there to swoop in and set the boundary before he said something he might regret, lingering for an extra second to get the point across. He wants to leave as soon as possible and you can see it in his eyes, quite fond of that pleading look as you didn’t see it often.

Kei Miyama:

Kei is completely out of his depth in romance. His common sense does allow him a little knowledge, knowing this was likely on purpose to show the other person you were together, but he can’t pinpoint the reason you felt it was needed. He rested his hand on your back the rest of the interaction, keeping himself connected to you to set you more at ease until you had a moment to be alone. He struggled to bring up the topic but he wanted to know how to avoid upsetting you for the future, surprised when you pointed out the persons flirting as he hadn’t even considered that’s what they were doing.

Pocky day

I know its days after pocky day but i was slaving over tests and i only had time now dkbsksjdjs thank u to my twt oomfs for the headcanons. Also i never have written newgen before cause i havent gotten to that part of the voice drama yet thats why dodbdkd. Hope u enjoyed.

It was pocky day or pepero day. Whichever one you wanted to call it. So with a box of pocky/pepero ready you approached your lover with the idea of playing the pocky game in mind.

Yatonokami Kanata

When you went up to Kanata holding the box of pocky he was slightly confused as you made no move to give it to him or whatnot. So when you told him you actually wanted to do, he frowned thinking it was a waste of time.

“That sounds stupid. Why would anyone play that?” Kanata huffed his brows furrowed.

“Aww. Come on, please Kanata? It’ll be fun?” You pleaded with him.

“No.” His response came out sharp but not rough, never with you.

You sulked when he denied it, walking away with a crestfallen face bringing the pocky box along with you. Seeing you like that stuck something in him and he just sighed annoyed before the words ‘fine’ reached your ears. You perked up and instantly went up to him, opening the pocky box and pulling a stick out while passing him the box.

“You place it here like this.” You demonstrated it to him, placing the pocky stick on your lips holding it in place. The other free end facing Kanata. “And then you do the same thing on the other side. Then we start.”

Kanata complied albeit being embarrassed to do something dumb like this. Well if you thought it wasn’t dumb then he supposed it was fine. Kanata being the one who gets quite flustered at even the slightest initiation of intimacy, didn’t move at all, letting you take the lead as you bit the pocky bit by bit. The distance between the two of you growing smaller and smaller and Kanata turning more flustered by the second.

The look on his face when you were a bite away from kissing him, your lips brushing against him was enough to make his face crimson red. He didn’t have time to think before you closed the gap though, giving him a light kiss and pulling back. You smiled at him happily as he covered his face with his arm, glaring at you at what you did, although it didn’t have much bite.

Yeon Hajun

You were aware that today was pocky day, you did have plans to play the pocky game with Hajun but you didn’t know what or why or if pigs had started flying for Hajun to approach you that day with a pepero box in his hands suggesting in a playful tone for the two of you to do it.

“Pepero?” You questioned him, eyeing the chocolate strawberry flavoured pepero he had in his hands.

“Yeah. In Korea it’s pepero day instead of pocky day although I’m not sure why we bother copying Japan anyways.” He smiled at you teasingly waving the pepero box in front of you. “Well? Shall we?”

Hajun was a sly and cunning man, that’s what you thought as he increasingly got closer to you, eating the pepero away bite by bite only to stop painfully long near your lips, his brushing against yours. He had that signature smirk of his on his face as he leaned in, only for you to close your eyes to find that his presence was gone. When you opened your eyes you found Hajun smirking playfully at you holding a new pepero stick in his fingers.

“Hm?? Did you think I was going to kiss you dear?” Hajun used that sickeningly sweet tone of his, the one he uses to with his fangirls that makes them all swoon.

“What?! No!” A slight blush adorned your face at being teased like that.

“Oh? But you had your eyes closed so maybe you really thought that I was going to kiss you?”

“No, shut up.” You grabbed the pepero stick from him frustrated as you started another round. This time you were the one taking the bites as Hajun sat there staring at you intensely with a serious look on his face. You wondered what he was scheming, looking like that all of a sudden.

You were about to break off the pepero stick when it was one bite away from his lips but Hajun knowing you well could tell what you were thinking of as he raised his hand to the back of your head and pushed it, locking the two of you into a sweet long teasing kiss. Less to say he didn’t stop poking fun at your reaction to his ministrations for a couple of days after that.

Masaki Hokusai

You had a pocky box held in front of your face as you shyly asked Hokusai if he was willing to play the pocky game with you. When it came to things like this, the two of you were kinda awkward, kinda shy but it didn’t matter and there were times when the boldness would kick in but only just a bit.

Hokusai was feeling a bit shy at agreeing to do it but he could see that you really wanted to do it based on your body language. He knew that if he denied it you would probably shy away for a while. So he agreed, not minding it much since it was you.

And when the two of you managed to get situated, the pocky stick on both of your lips, none of you moved. You felt nervous and so did Hokusai but he decided to take the lead.

“It’s okay, I’ll pull away before our lips touch if that helps” He mumbled as he bit the pocky stick, moving closer and closer to you.

“It’s fine, if you want to kiss….” You shook your head slightly as you insisted.

And Hokusai took your words for it, meeting your lips in a soft warm comforting kiss. Which made your face explode red, ah maybe you shouldn’t have been so adamant for something you weren’t mentally ready for yet.

When the two of you pulled away, you both looked away in slight embarrassment but Hokusai could see how red you were so he got worried and started fussing over you.

Suiseki Iori

You didn’t think Iori was one to be interested in playing the pocky game at all but it didn’t surprise you considering how he was. What did surprise you was that he suggested this while the two of you were at club candy which was the last place you thought he would’ve said it since there were better places to play it but oh welp.

“Seriously? Here? out of all places?” You questioned him in disbelief.

“Why? Scared cutie?” Iori teased.

“Pfttt. No.” You half heartedly glare at him.

You were in his office taking out a pocky stick from the box he had bought in advance. And when you placed it on your lips and his, none of you moved. You thought he was going to take the lead so you eyed him questionably.

“Why don’t you take the lead? Or are you shy? Hm?” Iori eyed you, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

You got ticked off so you did the honours and took the bites. But for each bite he would throw a tease at you, provoking you further.

“Just a small bite? Go on, take a bigger one.” “Why? Scared of being close to me?” “Do I make you that flustered?”

So when you got so close to his lips and took the last bite, clashing your lips with his wanting to shut him up. Iori was in for a pleasant surprise. And when you pulled away he was smiling proud of himself for pushing you to get a kiss out of it.

Maruyama Reo

“Hey, hey. Let’s play.” Reo had practically come skipping to you with a pocky box in his hands.

“Sure.” You answered as you glanced at the box in hand.

Reo took the lead. Taking small bites out of the pocky. He was feeling confident, planning to go all the way near your lips before pulling away. Yeah, that’s what he would do.

You just stared at him as he ate away at the pocky, a bit embarrassed, a bit nervous but slightly excited for what's to come.

“You’re not going to back down huh Reo?” You decided to rile him up.

“Of course not!” He smiled cheekily. Reo thinks that you would probably shy away at the end.

“Is that so…?”

So when he stopped at the last bite, pausing to give you a chance at breaking the pocky off, he was so confident that you would break it off but he wasn’t prepared for what happened next. You had actually leaned in and kissed him. Reo’s eyes widened, not at all expecting this outcome and when you pulled away his face was as pink as his hair, eyes as wide as saucers and his mouth slightly agape. Oh it was definitely worth it for the view that you were greeted with right now.

Inukai Yuto

Yuto was aware of what the pocky game is on account of Shion mentioning it before once or twice. However, he didn’t see the appeal of it. Like why would people decide to use a pocky and eat away at it at a slow pace only to eventually kiss or not. What was the appeal? He didn’t know.

So when you came up to him with a pocky box in hand and those pleading eyes asking him if you could play it with him, he couldn’t help but cave in. Yuto being as he is was nervous when you positioned the pocky and started it.

Taking small bites just to not scare him off. You could see he was flustered. The closer you got the more flustered and red his face got. You weren’t even that close before he broke the pocky stick off. Darting away to do work somewhere.

Hancho

You thought it was Yuto at first but that was until you looked closely that you realised it was actually Hancho with the way he held himself. Hancho was the same as Yuto, knowing about what the pocky game is but he very much does not see the appeal more than Yuto does.

So when you went up to him asking if he could play it with you he just stared at you with an annoyed expression, thinking it’s a waste of time. After some pestering and insistence for you he grumbly agreed to it so it would shut you up but it’s more like it’s because you asked for it.

Hancho somehow miraculously stayed still for you as you set up the pocky. Him letting you do what you want. But the way you went at it was a little too painfully slow for him. You went slow because compared to Yuto, Hancho was more on the unpredictable side and unpredictable he was.

You didn’t expect him to just grab the pocky and toss it away, proceeding to crash his lips on yours in a slightly aggressive kiss. Maybe you should do this more often.

Yatonokami Nayuta

Compared to his twin brother…. Nayuta is more chill about it when you approach him with the idea in mind. He does know what it was and it did pass his mind that you would probably ask to play it with him at some point. No surprises there for him.

He didn’t particularly care nor did he see a point in doing it but knowing that you wanted to do it was enough to make him agree to it. So taking the pocky box out of your hands he opened the package, taking a stick out and handing it to you. Yeah, very chill see?

With the pocky in place by yours truly, you moved slowly at your own pace, eating it. You were more focussed on the pocky’s distance rather than Nayuta’s face. Since you had taken the lead it gave Nayuta more opportunity to focus on your expression as you chipped away at the pocky, that focused face of yours, he thought it was cute.

When you got insanely close, you stopped, wanting to break the stick off but Nayuta was feeling a bit cheeky today. So he leaned in, taking the last bite and connecting with your lips. It was your idea after all.

Ando Shiki

Being a highschool student had its disadvantages and one of them was being forced to place the pocky game, in front of the whole class during lunch break. Fortunately for you, they ended up pairing and forcing you to play it with Shiki. Poor boy was shaking in place, his face red as he watched you grab the pocky box from your friends. Peer pressure much?

Sure he was your boyfriend but that didn’t stop him from sometimes being a bundle of nerves. He was your bundle of nerves though. You noticed that he was more nervous than usual. Probably because you were in front of the whole class, the ones who decided to watch anyway. You grabbed his hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze trying to calm him down.

The whole time while you were biting off the pocky stick you held his hand which elicited some whistles and cheers from your classmates seeing the two of you being so lovey dovey. Slow and steady you went, not wanting to malfunction Shiki’s brain just in case you went too fast.

When you got close enough to kiss, you hesitated. You didn’t think about it when you started. You weren’t sure if he would short circuited if you kissed him here or would he prefer that you didn’t.

Shiki, noticing your hesitance, tugged on your intertwined hands and you glanced at him. His eyes showed conviction, a sign that it was okay for you to do so. And so you leaned in. It was more of a short peck rather than a kiss, deciding in front of the class was not the best place to do so. Shiki deals with intimate stuff better in private rather than with an audience. When you pulled away, Shiki’s face was red but he had a sweet smile directed at you.

🍊 REO MARUYAMA

You were laid on the veranda of Akanyatsura's house, scrolling through your phone quietly. As you ignored the usual bickering from Reo and Satsuki, that's when a video caught your eye.

You lifted yourself up from your lying position and called for your boyfriend who didn't seem to hear you the first time.

"Reo~" you called again.

"Hmm~? What's up, (Y/N)?" he answered finally.

"Can you peel me an orange?" you asked him, clapping your hands together cutely. "Please~?"

"Eeeeh?" was his initial reaction. He didn't understand why you had suddenly asked him to do this. You could do it yourself, no? You've been visiting the family for a while now, so it shouldn't be awkward of you to just waltz into their kitchen to grab a snack.

He chuckled, then said, "(Y/N), are you still scared to go around the house without me?"

"Huh? No, it's not that–"

"You're so cute!" he laughed. "Okay, let's go to the kitchen~!"

He grabbed your hand and led the way. Your face was sewn with confusion and embarrassment because yes, you were scared to go around the house before, but you weren't uncomfortable about it now! Even Reo knew of this!

"Ah, here!" he chirped. "An orange!"

He plopped it into your hands. You stared at it, utterly perplexed. Before you could ask him to peel it for you though, he was already gone.

You returned to the veranda where Reo was now playing on the grass with the cat Hokusai borrowed from Bar 4/7. He looked undeniably cute, and you really did want to join him, but the fruit in your hands made you hang back.

You sat back down, looking at the orange on your lap. You sighed, thinking that you should try asking him again next time when he wasn't so preoccupied. As you dug a nail into the skin, Reo ran up to you.

"(Y-Y/N)!" he cried.

"R-Reo, what's wrong?"

"I was going to ask you the same thing!"

He is SO confusing today, you thought.

"Hokusai said that you looked sad, so I came to see what's wrong. (Y/N), are you alright?"

He sat down beside you as close as he can get, caressing your hand in a way to comfort you.

"I'm fine," you replied with a lighthearted chuckle. "I guess... I just wanted you to peel me an orange..."

"Huh?" he said. "I don't get it... you already have it in your hands!"

"But you'd still do it for me, right?" you asked slowly.

He smiled at you, pinching your cheek.

"Is that what you wanted me to do?" he laughed.

"Well yeah, I said that to you earlier...!"

"You did...? Oh, right! Sorry!" he exclaimed, genuinely feeling apologetic. "I thought you just wanted me to accompany you to the kitchen– Sorry– Here, give me that! Of course I'll peel an orange for my cutie!"

You watched him peel the orange effortlessly – it was a quick process too. He smiled at what he accomplished, taking a piece off the fruit and then hovering it in front of your lips.

"Say ahhh~" he sang.

You giggled before repeating, "Ahhh~"

He placed the fruit in your mouth and you started chewing.

"How does it taste, (Y/N)?" he asked curiously.

"It tastes nice!" you replied. "Thanks, Reo."

"Hehe, I'm glad."

He pulled out another piece and plopped it into his mouth. When the two of you finished eating the orange together, you joined in with Hokusai and Satsuki in the sun as the four of you played with the cat together.

🍊 HOKUSAI MASAKI

Without a doubt, Hokusai is overly affectionate towards his partner. He would treat them like a cat, petting their heads and praising them for the little things they do. He was happy whenever you were happy so when you had asked him to do this little task for you, he was already gone to do it.

"Alright. I'll be right back."

You didn't even need to ask him to peel you an orange anyway. You could just tell him you were craving a snack, and he would just get it for you. So this test of yours was pretty redundant.

Hokusai returned with a bowl of the fruit you had asked for, but it was inadequately peeled.

"I'm sorry," he stated. "I tried, but the skin was hard. It was difficult to peel."

"That's okay!" you chirped, taking the bowl from him. "Thank you, Hokusai."

"Mm. Anything for you, (Y/N)," he smiled, patting your head gently. "Tell me how it tastes."

You nodded, putting a piece in your mouth before chewing it. You smiled at how sweet it was which Hokusai caught on.

"It's sweet," you said. "Here, try some!"

You pulled out a slice as he opened his mouth. He took it in between his teeth and started munching. He nodded in agreement to your statement that it was sweet, smiling ever so softly.

"(Y/N), if you need anything else, just tell me, okay?"

The affection in his voice will always make you melt. "Mhm, thank you," you said. "I appreciate it, Hokusai, truly."

And with that, he pecked you on your forehead. The two of you resumed your afternoon together outside, basking in the sun, with your head on your boyfriend's shoulder.

🍊 SATSUKI ITO

Despite how long the two of you have been together, Satsuki will still be your bashful boyfriend. He sat on the floor of his own room as he let you sit on his bed to play video games. You had told him earlier to come join you, but he awkwardly stuttered that the floor was 'comfier'.

"Satsukiii, come on..."

"N-No, no, it's fine, (Y/N)!" he stammered with a light chuckle. "I-I like it h-here!"

"Then I'll join you–"

"No! J-Just stay on the bed. I don't want you to sit on the floor!"

"Satsuki..."

You sighed, but resumed the game with him. You led most of the conversation, but because Satsuki was so attentive towards you, he still kept you well entertained albeit awkwardly.

"Satuski," you said suddenly.

"Y-Yeah?"

"Can you grab me an orange?"

He was visibly confused, but didn’t question it. If his partner wanted an orange, he was going to get that orange!

“Okay!”

He got up and left the room. You continued with the game, waiting for your boyfriend’s return.

“Here, (Y/N),” he said as he entered the room again.

"Thank you, Satsuki!" you chirped happily. "Can you please peel it for me? I'm pretty busy at the moment!"

“O-Of course!” he exclaimed, fidgeting with the orange. He didn’t really do a good job at it as he peeled the skin bit by bit, but he got the job done.

“I’m done…!” he sighed out victoriously. “(Y/N), here!”

You smiled up at him, a smile so cheeky that even he wasn’t oblivious to it.

"W-What?"

"Feed me!"

"WHAT?!"

"Well, I obviously can't feed myself. My hands are busy!" You motioned him to look at the controller in your hands. "Please, Satsuki~?"

You were teasing him and he knew it. He also knew that you could just pause the game at any given time to eat your orange, but if that's what you wanted then...

Satsuki sat down beside you, pulling a piece out from the fruit. Shyly, he aimed for your mouth, quivering a little. Once it was close enough, you ate it, chewing on it happily.

"Hehe, thanks!" you beamed.

Satsuki was sweating, but most of all, blushing like crazy. Sure, the two of you have been a couple for the longest time, but he still can't get over the fact that he's yours. It still makes him nervous – you still make him nervous.

"More, please!"

Satsuki did as he told until the orange was no more. When you finally paused the game, you turned to him.

"Gotcha!" you exulted, pointing at him. "My plan worked. You're finally sitting next to me!"

Upon realisation, Satsuki's face turned redder than before.

"(Y-Y/N)...! I can't believe you did that...!"

"And I also can't believe you fed me," you giggled. "You're sweet, Satsuki... just like that orange~"

Hokusai is definitely a man of few words. Everyone in Akanyatsura can attest to that. But they also knew that his actions spoke louder than words. And of course, it was no secret to them when he started seeing you more often, that he was infatuated with you. He was always helping you with your chores and hanging out with you, indulging your every whim. And it was so painfully obvious to his Akanyatsura brothers, that some were getting annoyed with his behavior.

"You're going out with them again?" Reo whined as he flopped dramatically onto the table in their living space.

Hokusai nodded. "They asked me to visit. I won't be gone long."

"You say that every time." Satsuki pouted. "And yet you stay out for hours on end with them."

"It's like we don't even exist to you anymore!" Reo cried and wiped fake tears from his eyes.

Hokusai simply watched his brothers, slightly confused. He didn't think he spent that much time with you. Sure, he has been seeing you more often, but that was because you both wanted to. And he was still for Akanyatsura when Iori needed him. He definitely was not shirking his responsibilities. So he had no idea why they were acting like this.

Iori hummed to himself. "Well, I think it's sweet. I think it's about time this family expanded."

"What are you talking about?!" Zen sputtered, which in turn made Iori chuckle.

"I'm simply saying another member of the group would be just fine to me. I'm not implying I would replace any of you; believe me, you're all irreplaceable, but one more person in this family is just what we need I think."

Zen let out a sigh. "I see. Forgive me for jumping to conclusions."

"You need to get your mind out of the gutter, my friend." Iori grinned as Zen blushed.

"But that all depends on if Hokusai actually invites them to join our family!" Reo stated as a matter of fact. "And we all know he won't do that!"

Hokusai tilted his head in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"It's obvious!" Satsuki replied. "You're not very good with words, least of all when they're supposed to be romantic. We all know the two of you are going to be dancing around your feelings for ages. And the rest of us are going to have to suffer because of your pining."

"I don't make you suffer." He shot back. "And I don't need words to be romantic. You know actions speak louder than words."

"But are they receiving the message you are trying to convey through your actions?" Zen asked, then held his hands up in surrender. "I mean no offense, but sometimes people aren't perceptive to action and need to be told."

Hokusai thought for a moment before he shrugged. "I hope so. But if they weren't, I wouldn't even know what to say to tell them my feelings."

Iori shook his head. "We can't help you with that. Those words need to come from you and your heart. You can do this, I know you can."

He slowly nodded. "Alright. I'll try."

Smiling and nodding, Iori shooed him out the door. "Now go! They're waiting for you!"

Again, Hokusai nodded before leaving the Akanyatsura house. It didn't take him long to get to the park right outside of your apartment building. You both loved hanging out there, whether it was by walking around the pond together, climbing the trees, or finding stray cats to play with. But he knew as he sat on your favorite bench that today would be different. He was going to try and tell you just how much you meant to him and how much he cared about you. He just needed to find the right words.

"You look lost in thought." Your soft voice lightly teased him. "What's on your mind, Hokusai?"

He shook his head. "Nothing. How are you?"

"I'm fine." You nod. "Better now that you're here."

He smiled. "That's good to hear."

You sat next to him, your shoulder barely brushing his. He was thankful you enjoyed just sitting in silence with him. With you there was no pressure to speak. He could just sit there and enjoy the day with you next to him. Perhaps this was how he confessed to you. Not with his words, but with his actions.

"Wow, this is more boring than I thought it was going to be." A whisper catches his attention. Hokusai glances at you, but you don't seem to have noticed the whisper.

"Well, it is Hokusai we're talking about." If he didn't know any better, he'd say that sounded like Satsuki...

Casually looking around, Hokusai finally noticed Satsuki and Reo failing to hide behind a tree. He glared at them, but that didn't stop them from staring and teasing the two of you. He thought he would be left alone with you. But apparently he thought wrong. He just hoped Iori didn't ask them to come spy on him like an overprotective older brother.

Due to his focus being on the two younger members of Akanyatsura, he didn't notice you at all. And how your focus had shifted to him and the boys hiding behind the tree. He didn't notice you hiding a chuckle behind your hand.

"You think he forgot what he told Aniki earlier?" Satsuki loudly whispered to Reo. "That he said he was going to confess to them?"

Reo shook his head. "Maybe he did. He's obviously not going to make a move. He would have done it by now."

"Yeah, he's had more than enough time now to tell them how much he loves them!"

Hokusai grit his teeth. If he wasn't worried about making a scene in front of you, he would totally beat the two of them up right now. But when you tapped on his shoulder stopped him from getting up and having a little "chat" with his younger AKYR brothers.

"Are you alright?" You ask, with a sweet smile on your lips.

He hesitates before nodding. "I'm okay."

Your smile widens as you shake your head. "No, you're not. I can tell you're not. Those boys over there are giving you a hard time, aren't they?"

Again he nods.

"Thought so. And if I didn't know any better, it almost sounded like they said something about you being in love with me?" Your smile was teasing and Hokusai could feel his cheeks turn red at your words.

"I- maybe. I mean, yes, I do." He mumbled.

Your smile only continued to widen. "Well, that's good to know. But it's crazy of them to think we weren't already dating. I mean, we've been together for a couple months now, at least!"

"W-we have?"

You nod. "The way you've acted around me proves how much you care about me and how much you want to be around me. You've more than proven yourself to be a worthy boyfriend. So you don't need to come up with some elaborate confession plan. I'm already yours."

He felt the tension in his shoulders ease and a smile stretched across his face. "And I'm yours."

"That's good to know." And with that, you leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to his lips. He responded by pulling you closer, his hand cupping your face. It was absolutely perfect.

"GET A ROOM YOU TWO!"

"SATSUKI KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT OR YOU'LL RUIN THE MOMENT!"

it’s a little hard to tell he likes you at first. he certainly doesn’t hold back his compliments, but at the same time, it sounds exactly like how he would speak about a small animal

over time, you slowly picked up on the difference in how he treated you. he's significantly more touchy, always giving you headpats, and is just usually in your space 

he seems to really enjoy your company. to him, you’re one of a handful of people that took him in without judgment, and spending time with you was incredibly relaxing. slowly, he found himself paying closer attention to you and the little things about you

it’s obvious to his family that he likes you. you’ve hung out with them before, and satsuki and reo like you, which makes hokusai like you even more. he takes his chance and confesses, and gets the biggest, softest smile on his face when you return his feelings

his dates with you are on the quieter side. he likes taking walks with you, going to many different places and seeing new things, and he especially likes playing with cats with you. he just likes spending time with you, so anything’s fine with him!

he loves learning new things about you (and calling you cute right after), and he’s really happy when you two share your interests with each other. compliment his graffiti work and he’ll look very pleased all day

let’s be honest. it took a while for the relationship to start in the first place. he’s a prickly little kitten left out in the rain, and everything in his body was telling him to scratch at you

but you persist. slowly but surely, he stops finding you as annoying as he originally thought. sometimes you’ll sneak into his thoughts, and he’ll catch himself thinking ridiculous things, such as how much you’d like this song he found, or that his trip to the new record store would be better if you were there with him

he keeps a watchful eye on how you treat nayuta, and he’s incredibly relieved when you treat him as one of your own. it seems like nayuta doesn’t hate your presence either, which is a huge win

you’ll have to take the lead on most things, like confessing. he doesn’t really have a handle on his emotions, so to the untrained eye, it sounds like he doesn’t like you as much as he does. but you know better, so him responding with a red face that he doesn’t mind your company is the greenlight that you two are dating

he’s a bit shy with his affection. it’ll take him a bit to muster up the courage to hold your hand (he kind of just grabs it honestly), but he doesn’t really let it go. it’s his favorite display of affection, and it proves that you’re by his side

he really likes at home dates where you’re just hanging out. sure he’ll take you to the record store, and you’ll take him to food places you recommend, but being in the safest space he knows without a lot going on is truly relaxing, especially when you share music with the other

nayuta yatonokami

he definitely knows what he feels compared to his brother. he’s not harsh with you, but more to the point. for a long time, he doesn’t really know if he wants to let someone else in, but you’ve proven yourself to be a trustworthy person. bonus points for not minding kanata’s comments at first

he also doesn’t really know how to navigate the relationship. he’s only ever trusted two people before, and lost a good chunk of his formative years, so he’s a little unsure of how he should really approach it. he takes his time getting more used to it

if anything, shiki cheers the two of you on. he’s always encouraging nayuta to go for it, which drives him to confess. it’s an awkward one, but he somehow manages to get his point across

he’s more comfortable with affection than you’d think. he’ll nonchalantly hold your hand like they were always meant to be connected, and he’ll keep a straight face while doing so. sharing headphones and listening to music together is his way of showing affection

he likes to take you out shopping for new clothes for the two of you. he likes showing you his interest in fashion, along with suggesting outfits for you to wear, while you find good places for food

Akanyatsura

Hokusai Masaki:

Hokusai realized, almost too late, that he had to actually ask you to be his valentine for you to know that you were his. He had been going based off your relationship, the closeness you had making him logically arrive at the conclusion that you were his valentine, but he was informed that it was not the way it worked. When he had gone to seek you out he found you anxious and shuffling on your feet, surprised that you felt so nervous about asking him to be your valentine when he had already made that choice long ago.

Iori Suiseki:

Iori had suspected you were up to something but had patiently sat back, not one to assume but certainly knowing what was on your mind. You still managed to surprise him with a homemade gift as well as asking him to be yours for Valentine’s Day, the genuine smile on his face and his laughter filling the room the best gift you could’ve asked for. He wrapped you in a hug, pulling you as close as he could before letting you know he had already made plans for the two of you. If asked on why he didn’t make the first move he just laughed again, saying it was always pleasant to be the one pursued (and that he’d make your efforts worthwhile, in the end).

Reo Maruyama:

Reo winked, flirted, and accepted all gifts tossed his way on Valentine’s Day. Someone with his charm was used to all of this attention, but it could get exhausting after constant stimulation from others for hours on end. Plus, it never felt quite as special as a valentine really should, which he never realized until he had someone solid in mind that he wanted as his valentine. He’s glad that you’re the one who asked because it meant he could hide how in love with you he was (since he considered making the first move, which he certainly doesn’t do for just anyone), and he immediately rattled off all the things he wanted to do on that day with you since he hadn’t stopped thinking about it since the month began.

Satsuki Ito:

Satsuki cuts you off QUICK, on his knees like he’s groveling as he held your hands tight and began to sweat. There’s an awkward pause as you wait for him to explain the feral yell that was torn from his throat but it seemed he needed another minute to think, perhaps regretting his hasty reaction. He had to be the one to ask, after all, but the courage didn’t suddenly appear like he hoped it would. He does manage to stutter out the question because he’s not a quitter, but he won’t make eye contact, especially not after Reo asks why it looked like he was proposing.

Zen Gaho:

Zen is fighting to hide how hot his face is growing, touching his own burning hot cheeks and wondering how he got lucky enough to attract your attention. After pining away for you for who knows how long, finally having the confirmation that you felt the same for him was almost too much to bear. You cradle his face in your hands as he started to tear up, refusing to actually let them fall as he didn’t want to ruin the mood but he couldn’t help how overwhelmed with emotion he was. He would make this your most romantic Valentine’s Day yet!

AMPRULE

Chungsung Baek:

Chungsung is pleasantly surprised, licking his lips at the homemade gift you hand to him after asking him to be your valentine. While he doesn’t presume he’ll have any free-time on that day, much like he doesn’t most days as he attends to his master, he’s still flattered that you asked. He supposed he could carve out some of his own personal time while Dongha was busy to spend with you, not quite an official date but there were a few meals he could whip up that the two of you could enjoy together. He’s never pursued a relationship like this but he’s excited to see where it may lead.

Dongha Yeon:

You had debated on even asking Dongha as it didn’t seem like something he’d be interested in, but you had done stupider things to get his attention before so you thought you might as well. He’s actually quite surprised to hear the question, to have such a blatant act of affection thrown in his face like this leaves him frozen. Did you want something from him? Surely being seen with the Yeon heir would do wonders for you, but your stuttered out ‘date plan’ only consisted of spending time together indoors watching movies… What did you want from him? He accepted, because he certainly couldn’t have you asking someone else to be your valentine, and he’d simply have to probe you later to find out what your motives were.

You had asked Hokusai out for a date. It was one of those days where you actually had time off from your job so you decided it would be nice to spend some quality time with your boyfriend. There was a place you had in mind and you were hoping he would like it.

A couple of train stops and in an unsuspecting road that's littered with food stalls and roadside restaurants there was a tiny store. Anyone who didn't pay attention as they passed by wouldn't realise it as it had no signboards of the sorts. The only thing indicating the existence of the store was a long cat rug hung up on the wall of the entrance. A short staircase leading it's way up. It was a nice cat cafe. You had discovered this place on the account of your friend bringing you there on one of your many hangout sessions.

You gently held Hokusai's hand as you lead him to the place, weaving through the sea of people and passing cars. You were excited and curious as to say the least of what his reaction might be. That was your thought as you ascended the wooden staircase with him, wondering what his reaction to your surprise might be.

Ah but alas, it seems like luck was not on your side. As the place was jammed packed filled with people. Just from peeking at the window you could tell the place was full and as if the amount of people standing in front of the entrance lining up wasn't big enough it seems that your plan to have a nice relaxing day with Hokusai here had come to a bitter end.

You tugged him out of there. Unsure where to go next. You didn't have a place in mind at all. You should've thought of a back up plan. “Ah sorry about that Hokusai. I didn't expect there to be so many people. Especially since it's a weekday.” You rubbed your neck.

“It's fine y/n.” Hokusai patted your head. He could tell you were a bit sulky.

“I didn't think of what to do if it was full. I don't know where to go now….”

“If you'd let me then I have an idea.” It was Hokusai's turn to lead the way. His big hand gently intertwined with yours as you made your way to wherever he had in mind.

As you followed him the amount of people dwindled and the streets became quieter. Eventually you followed him to a tranquil neighborhood and reached the playground that was nestled in the middle. He brought you to a huge tree that was standing tall near the clearing of the playground.

“Hokusai, what do you have in mind?” You were quite perplexed as to why he brought you here out of all places.

He didn't answer you as he brought out a tin of wet cat food and opened it. Placing it on the ground near the tree. It was bait as some stray cats and kittens smelled the food and came running to the source. Hokusai seemed pleased as he gestured to you to come closer.

You compiled and the next thing you know you and Hokusai were sitting on the ground petting the cats.

“Ah so this is what you had in mind.” You said as you pet a cat that was sitting on your lap.

“I thought this would be better than the cat cafe, no?” Hokusai hummed. He rummaged in his pocket and handed you one of those catnip sticks.

You opened it and instinctively the cat's head darted to your hand. The closest one, who was an orange kitten, started licking the catnip as you tore the sachet open and squeezed it out bit by bit. You also shared it around with all the cats there. Trying to give each and everyone of them a taste. To you it was ticklish since their tongue would dart up to lap up the catnip. The sensation of being licked by a cat is a unique one. Its texture is that of sandpaper but not as rough and although it feels like it's dry when you touch it you will feel the remnants of some saliva.

Hokusai was watching you play with the cats as an affectionate smile adorned his mouth. It didn't bother him that your plans for the date were thwarted but he was happy to be with you regardless. You and Hokusai spend the rest of the day playing with cats as the each of you leaned against each others shoulders for the rest of the afternoon until it was time to go.

-iori does enjoy seeing you get all clingy and cuddly with him when you're drunk. he finds it amusing in all honesty... you're just too cute for him to handle!

-it's even better if your drunk self is a complete 180 from your usual personality. if you're usually more secluded or introverted and you suddenly become cuddly and clingy with alcohol in your system, he's enjoying it while it lasts.

-he lets you cling all over him when you're drunk. he has absolutely no issue with letting you cling and cuddle him in club candy if that's where you happened to get drunk. either way, he'll still let you cuddle him without a second thought.

-he'll never deny your drunk kisses either! if you struggle to kiss him on the lips or completely miss when you go to kiss him, he'll help you out. just a little bit...

-not sure how you'd get drunk around hokusai because he'd always gently remind you to not drink too much. he stays sober in general (and for you) and doesn't even mind taking care of you when you get drunk and clingy.

-he always has a warm feeling in his heart when you get so cuddly with him. he can't help but think you're like a cat when you act like that!

-always puts you right to bed when he has the chance to and he'll follow soon after. he likes it when you're cuddly with him and especially when you get giggly too, he can't help but smile at you.

-it's a little shocking for shion the first time it happens. he didn't think you'd be so clingy and cuddly with him when you got drunk but he's not complaining about it.

-he teases you a little when you get so clingy with him, telling you that you're so needy and touchy when really he's enjoying the attention you're giving him.

-it can be argued that shion's love language is physical touch so your clinginess while drunk definitely fuels that love for touch. no matter how much you cuddle up to him, he always wants more from you.
