procrastination is starting to have its consequences finally

#on my friends living room floor they love together but one of them has been london for weeks or maybe months #to be with her love. im on a foam mattress from one of their beds next to a glass bottle of water opened by one of them #in a mug given to me by another. the weather felt like my childhood today and it also felt like 2 years ago.#(put space in the heavens Einstein's idea and hes your friend too so nothing to fear) around the table they drank and laughed and i thought #i hope you keep growing so full with the love you receive . i hope your appetite becomes insatiable from how used to it you are #and i know youre all leaving soon but i hope one day you miss this and that youll be happy you miss it #its worth missing i think #i thought he didnt care but he said after exams hes going walk around this area over and over #(this is near where he lived and where we visited almost daily for a year)#(hed come across the bridge on a lake)#we went where she used to live and at the entrance a fox sat calmly. it just yawned and stared.#it felt important somehow. i think maybe their impressions of me will never be close to how i feel inside but i think #i love them enough for that not to matter. i dont think theyll ever know this. i dont think if they did it would change much.#and seeing them smile makes my heart glow anyway. today i tried their malaysian tea the ginger burned my throat #they warmed my heart. hes going to canada soon and hes going to the US soon and shes going everywhere soon ill never understand #how were supposed to live with memories and with seperation and with the past but we do it anyway so i think it doesnt matter much #i wanted to write a poem for the lab rats with the fibre optic wires lit with blue forcing them to turn around and around #something about how im sorry that the two photon arrays burned the inside of your brain. im sorry about the sharp points of multielectrode #arrayes. im sorry about everything we do to you. she asked to see me tomorrow. im trying to have self control but i miss her so awfully #last night my friend talked to me and i updated on everything that happened with love and the lack of it and she just started laughing #and she told me about the same thing from her side. and she told me about how she loved london because she would walk the streets #and she felt like the people were her. and her eyes would go over the people and the bag of bagels and the construction men they probably #have a kid at home maybe shes a daughter. this kid is crying for her mother and the building you just walked past caused #blisters and pain and people died in it and very likely people were born in it. we talked for hours and i felt like #i was holding her hand just like that time she held mine watching a horror film. i love her so much #my friend is a genius and i remember her picking up the charms of my phone and staring at the leaf hanging from them. shes side stepping to #music drinking dangerous cider and cocktails from a movie and chit chatting with billionaires and undergrads #i love her dearly. his head covered in electrodes. she tells me about a syrian guy shes in love with and she says #what you feel and what i feel is like cocaine. ive tried a lot of fucking cocaine.#she says ive reminded her of what living actually feels like and to never put energy into someone who doesnt see me this way.

It's horrendously humid and hot here. Wish me (and others in the path) luck as the storm moves across Iowa 🫡

kk watching the storm's projected path and it miiiight end up missing us w/the slight curve down it seems to be taking? maybe. ya just dont know i guess!! we did get sand bags yesterday just in case and i imagine we're still gonna have storm anyway like we kinda did w/helene - helene didnt directly hit us either but it did cause crazy debris and knocked out our internet for a day or so and some people in town did lose power. it does look like this one's gonna be closer tho. i think it's back down to a 4 now and is gonna be like a 3 when it gets around here, supposedly maybe we'll see

#still im keeping an eye on local updates about it #my area is p much same as it usually is which is stay indoors and prepare to potentially lose power #i think our main concern would be flooding but #the area i live in is a bit more raised i think #at least compared to the rest of the apartment complex #that and losing power #last time thankfully it just flickered a little and the main loss was internet #but we still had working power #i do worry if we loose electricity how my bun will handle it #with no ac bc it gets hot as shit here #tho i looked at the weather and the temps bottom range will bbe a lot lower........

#i'm so excited !!#and also nervous bc we haven't hung out in forever 🥹#which means yay lots to catch up on & that's always fun #but also means they might bring up -certain- things that 😭 i do not wanna talk about ever again lol #that's the problem with not seeing each other as often is having to discuss things that happened months ago..#but what are ya gonna do 🤷‍♀️ it's hard to hang out regularly since we all got full time jobs #+ we live and work far away from each other & the weather always sucks & eating out gets expensive 😫#our vacations are on different times too #and now it's getting darker earlier so... yeah #it's getting less and less safe to hang out at night here and even in broad daylight too man 🙃#we gotta find more activities to do lol but usually i'll see one of them for coffee and walks & those are my fav #man i just wish i lived closer to my friends it sucks #cause even if it's easier now than it was years ago bc i can drive to them #there's alwayssssss construction and traffic the city is horrible #like we mostly just hang out in the suburbs now bc of that. sure there's less options here but at least we can drive peacefully and PARK #that's also another major issue in the city ugh #and it's not even like public transit is a solid option there's always problems there too 🙃#get ur shit together montreal !!!! i wanna love you but you're so hard to love sometimes !!!!!!!!#anyway. i do miss the city i can't even lie. i never go downtown anymore 😢#and i miss my friends !!!!!!!! 😭😭#i'm so excited we're hanging out i hope we can do it more and more often #**#update: ok they didn’t ask about any of the things i was worried about so we good 😇

I'm sick and my dad's mad at me for not going to the flea market with my mom.

I have not drawn anything for the eclipse because we can't see it here lol

but, here's what I have in mind: eclipses in Heliosphere are likely when the moons get so distracted with how pretty Sun is, that they stare at him for a while and block their planet's view

many moons think Sun is very pretty, including our own

so Luna stares for a while, then remembers she has duties, then moves on. she hopes Earth hasn't seen her staring, but he does, and he alerts us Earthlings even. hahaha

how is my friend's baby 12 days overdue and didn't come during the massive blizzard we had yesterday

#the entire town and most of the state had no power #the roads were basically impassable everywhere #thats exactly when you expect a baby to come esp if he's overdue #like he was WAITING for the blizzard #he wasnt going to come a week ago when the weather was nice and the roads were good #but no update so im assuming still no baby #he was never going to get a better chance to come at an inconvenient time #also im lowkey sad bc my mom pointed out he's probably never going to be able to wear tbe cute bear onsie i got him #its super warm and fluffy and he totes could have worn it if he came on time before easter #maybe not for beey long tho #but its april and this blizzard may have been our last snow 😔#and he wont fit in it anymore in the fall #we have a slight chance of snow next week but more likely rain #anyway we shall see it might be chilly for a few more weeks and the occasional random day in april or may #but he's def missed peak dress your baby like a teddy bear weather #maybe i'll buy them the size up in the fall it wasnt that expensive lol #anyway my friend lives ~next door~ like half a mile away down a hill then up a really big hill and we couldn't get out of our driveway #but i told her to lmk if they needed anything bc i would have walked thru 2ft of snow if they needed it lol #but they were probably better off than we were bc they have a woodstove and probably a generator and her father in law has a snow plow #i think #so they probably weren't even trapped in the house lol

weather services have been LYING to me ALL DAY and it's stressing me out hshdjdhd

like it's been saying "2-6% rain" all day which is fine as long as it says WHEN it's raining but it's been misting to raining ALL DAY and it just keeps saying it's OVERCAST OR SUNNY

T his is Bad because we have a massive work event on Saturday. and if it rains we're going to have to cancel it AGAIN. and lose our vendors and everything. and I can't trust the weather now bc it says "Sunny :)" for saturday but it also says... 6% chance of rain.
