Posting something of my own (finally) because I fully disappeared, so....

I'm not sure if we've talked about the boys and finding their own fanfictions but in my mind Zach is completely oblivious. Like I'm not kidding, he has NO idea it even exists ('Uhhh... What's AO3?). Some of the more intrusive fans often write uhm... stuff you wouldn't read in public about him, which has lead to a sort of divide in the fandom; those who try and (successfully more often than not) remove those works off the internet, and the smaller group who keep churning the damn things out. Obviously, he and Ruben have the most fanfics about them, but what people don't know is that he was popular to write about even before The Coming Out.

Jon is also mostly unaware, but since Angel told him about 'the whole Anjon thing' in the tour bus, he's tried to keep tabs on it. Despite that pre-Coming Out he was very heavily marketed as the "sexy" one, his fanfics are more on the respectable side (he has made a point to publicly thank the fans for this). He's got the least amount of fanfics to his name - which he's not too sure if he's disappointed or grateful for - however he's read a few of the more popular ones and he thinks they're 'quite good, yeah'.

Ruben, on the other hand, knows. People love writing about him and Zach, but he didn't realise how much people actually liked him until he started reading Saturday fanfics (he's still confused why people often have him as the main character or the POV character, he doesn't think his thoughts are that interesting). He's read a number of fics, and he and Angel quote or reference the popular ones whenever they can. He's pretty chill about it, tweeting about some of the ones he likes, taking recommendations from the fans, and having lots of laughs when people hold up concert signs, or give him things with references ('Is that a shot from the Lego Batman movie I see!').

Angel is the worst. He's the one that started the fic reading streams, he often reads them aloud on his story, and he quotes and references the popular fics with Ruben (only the popular ones because 'Ruben for some ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE and WRONG reason won't read the MASTERPIECES of the smaller ones!'). He has - fandom known - accounts on most major fanfic sites, and actively leaves comments on each chapter of the fanfics he's reading currently. There are Twitter accounts dedicated to keeping up with what he's reading currently and what he thinks of it. Sometimes he even does streams to talk about the fics he's finished recently in more detail.

since u guys wanted it... christmas with saturday

- cause zachs bday is like so close to christmas the others try to put the tree and stuff up after his bday but he's always insistent on them feeling the christmas fever when most people do so he puts the christmas tree up like halfway thru december

- in addition to the last one zach puts up the tree with jon, ruben hands them the lights and baubles, angel sits in the corner jon assigned him beforehand trying to make all the snowflakes in a snowglobe his parents bought him float

- the christmas songs parodies theyd do for fun is eating away at me lmao

- angel is always really dramatic with his reactions to presents. he just gives me a 'AWWH YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE' vibe idk

- zach hates 'all I want for christmas is you' so angel just blasts it through his speakers at full volume to piss him off (I have a whole post on this lmk if u want it)

- they make gingerbread together (jon has to stop angel from eating the batter several times) and decorate them as theirselves

- jon cooks christmas dinner. that's it that's all.

one thing that ruben does that just really annoys the boys is that he will just casually walk around the house with his phone on full volume, listening to youtube shorts of musicals at 7 in the morning, and every time angel sticks his head out of his room to tell him to turn it down. he never does.
